A lonely Pioneer steps into a brave new world, even as she steps into the horrors of the past.

A lone Pioneer stumbles out of a portal in the Everfree. Cut off from Earth by the fires of war, marooned with few supplies and little knowledge of her new surroundings, she continues her mission: to explore a new world, and hopefully to bring back hope the one she left behind.


But, as so often happens, she has brought all of the old world with her. No matter where we go, we cannot escape ourselves, even in the paradise warmth of alien suns.
