Tome of the Searching Flame

Leara opened her deep blue eyes and looked around her prison of tubes, wires, IV’s, and other things associated with creating a living thing. She looked at herself in the reflection. Her deep reddish brown coat and her brown mane styled like Lyra Heartstrings. She was a beautiful unicorn despite her dull colors. Her flank supported an hourglass cutie mark. A stallion emerged from the shadows. A blue coat, yellow mane, tail, and to top it off an hourglass snap drum as a cutie mark, his face supported a devilish smile. The Master not only her creator but her father by blood. Leara scowled she hated him she, knew the horrible things he planned for her. She was a pawn in his plot to take over the world.

“Hello my little siren. How’d you sleep?” He asked.

“Why do you want to know?” Leara snapped.

“Oh have you hit the rebellious stage my little siren? Oh well I can deal with that later.” He said faking concern and worry. Leara’s eyes narrowed A sound was heard it was vaguely familiar to her. The Doctor’s TARDIS! Her heart jumped and a huge smile graced her face for the first time in a long time. The Master ran to another room probably to prepare. The Doctor ran and found Leara.

“Hey! Hit that button please!” Leara yelled. The Doctor followed Leara’s order and in an instant she was free. She fell to the ground she had never walked before, but instincts kicked in. She got to her hooves and began to walk. She was wobbly until a sudden head rush made her collapse. When she awoke The Doctor and his TARDIS was gone. “He abandoned me!” She thought.  She heard the clopping of hooves so she ran and found and brownish purple TARDIS. She ran inside and shut the door.

“Welcome Leara.” An artificial voice said.

“Hello? How do you know my name?” She asked.

“I recognized your DNA. I am Dakota the A.I. of this TARDIS.” Dakota responded.

“Oh well hello I am Leara as you already know. Can you get us out of here?” Leara asked.

“Yes I can where do you wish to go?” Dakota asked.

“Equestria.” Leara responded.

“As you wish Time lord Leara.” Dakota responded. Leara smiled at the title.
