The Tale of Sunlight Dawn

Flash Sentry was standing nervously down at the down end of Canterlot's throne room, dressed in a handsome.  Princess Celestia was standing right behind him, and Shining Armor was next to Flash.  On the Celestia's right-hand side, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash stood on the small staircase.  Fluttershy was near a bird choir; Twilight Sparkle was not among them.

"You sure you want go through with this?" Shining Armor whispered.

"Are you kidding me?" Flash replied.  "I already asked Twilight, and we're here right now.  I'd say it's too late to turn back.  This night is my wedding night.  I asked her about a month ago to marry me.  When I requested Princess Celestia of starting a special night here at Canterlot, I had to do it; I had to ask her.  After all, I got your approval."

Finally, after some long moments, Fluttershy rang up her bird-chorus, chanting the wedding-theme music.   Within seconds, the door swung open by magic of the two Royal Guards.  Princess Twilight entered, and she was dressed in her princess dress (but colored in a white-wedding fashion), with the Cutie Mark Crusaders leaping forward in front of the Princess and tossing out flowers from the basket.  Twilight Sparkle walked up the alley as the ponies watched the beautiful Princess walk up to the groom.

When Twilight stood next to Flash, they both looked up to Celestia.

“Greetings, everypony,” announced Celestia.  “We are here to witness the joining of two marvelous ponies who come in a great matrimony that they forever will cherish.  Their love is shown to have no bounds, and their compassion for each other is unrecognizable.  And so the time as come for these two ponies to confess their love they have or forever depart..."

"Forever!"  Pinkie Pie's head somehow turned up behind Flash Sentry, catching every pony by surprise.  Pinkie Pie had once again entered her dramatic voice of one of her "Forever!" things.

But Flash Sentry pushed the head of Pinkie Pie off-screen with his hoof.  "Put that pinkie out!"  Then Flash Sentry looked back at Twilight.

Celestia cleared her throat.  "I'll just say the short version, Princess Twilight Sparkle, do you take Flash Sentry to be your faithful husband?”

“I do,” answered Twilight, smiling at Flash Sentry.

“And do you, Flash Sentry, take Twilight Sparkle to be your lawful wedded wife and the Princess you so swear to protect?”  Celestia asked Flash Sentry.

“I do,” he answered, smiling back at Twilight.  And so it seemed like that, Twilight and Flash loved each other deeply.

“As Princess Celestia, I now pronounce you mare and colt.”

Then Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry kissed and the crowd cheered.  Rarity cried softly, trying to hold back her tears with a tissue.  The other girls looked on happily.  Additionally, Spike was sniffing hard and trying to hold back his own tears, seeing how the pony he’s ever been with the longest getting married.

Twilight and Flash walked onto a balcony of the castle as hundreds of more ponies cry out in cheer, shouting out their cheers and joyfulness.

“Best wedding ever,” grunted Rainbow Dash, dashing above the castle performing her Sonic Rainbow like she did at Shining Armor and Cadence's wedding.

And the festivities went on.  Pinkie Pie upbeat the music and everypony was dancing their inner energies out; it was a Shining-Armor-and-Cadence wedding all over again.  As the party went on, Flash Sentry led his new bride toward a chariot and onward on their honeymoon.

The girls saw the chariot rolling under a full moonlight.  Spike was in tears as he watch the chariot ride out under a crescent moon.

“Oh, don't cry, Spiky. After all, Twilight's future had to come around the corner sooner or later."

"But I was her assistant from a long time," cried Spike.  "For the first time ever, I don't know what to do."

"Ah, cheer up, Spike, I could always use an assistant of my own, at my boutique," Rarity winked.

Spike began to blush of Rarity's offer.

"Well, that for sure was such a dazzling wedding,” said Fluttershy.

“Oh, tonight was for fun,” said Pinkie Pie. “I already made plans when they come back.  Oh boy, won’t they be surprised when they get back.  But when will they be back?”

9-to-10 Months Later

Pinkie Pie's plans were originally planned by taking a visit to Ponyville's hospital.  Flash Sentry, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy were in a waiting room at Ponyville’s hospital.   Princesses Celestia was there as well her sister, Luna.   Shining Armor happened to be their, but Cadence wouldn't make it.

It was glorious day to be cheered for but also, could be a frightful one: Twilight's pregnant.  Twilight Sparkle was giving birth to a foal, a baby pony. But since it was be a special day, anything bad could happen.  And there were some things Flash didn’t want to happen.  He just couldn’t lose his wife or his newborn child on a good day.  Twilight’s friends, Shining Armor, and the Princesses were feeling the pressure was well.

The day had rolled into a late afternoon.  Flash Sentry was pacing himself around in the waiting room, waiting for the good news and nothing from the bad side.  He could only not hope something awful has happen to his beloved Princess, and hope for the best out of today.

Then a doctor walked through the door with a clipboard.  "Mr. Flash Sentry?"

All of a sudden, Flash Sentry dashed toward the doctor.  "Yes?"

"Congratulations!  You are a father!"

Flash Sentry was gasping for air; he heard the news he wanted to hear.  Twilight survived and the newborn pony had to be okay.  Then everypony in the waiting room was jumping for joy.  Most of all, Pinkie Pie was the most energetic, tossing out confetti and bringing a big birthday cake to the middle of the waiting room.  "Do you know what this calls for?  A party!"

However, Flash Sentry followed the doctor down the hallway.  The doctor led the new father to Twilight's hospital room.  In there, Twilight's mane was sweating as she lay on a hospital bed, holding a little foal in her hooves snuggling peacefully.   "It's a girl, and she is an Alicorn, Flash Sentry," Twilight announced happily.

Flash Sentry neared the little foal; the baby had her mother's purple-colored mane and her father's orange body color.  Flash Sentry couldn't be happier to see his daughter having same characteristics from her new mother and father.

Near the doorway, Twilight's friends peaked to have a closer look.

"What shall we name her, my love?" whispered Flash Sentry.

“I have a name for her, Flash," stated Twilight.  "Born under a bright sunlight of a yellow dawn: Sunlight Dawn.”
