The Gamer

I felt my eye twitch as sunset finally told me why sonata had been acting so off lately. I triggered a tradition of the siren races and that if anything I ended up with quite possibly a wife. Already she was starting to look closer to my age considering sonata has been here for centuries. She kind of looked like this:

Turned out a quirk is that the siren physically becomes the age to the other in this soul bond tradition. And with it came personality changes for the siren. She was still the bubbly energetic siren but now she was mature, not so air headed and had a sense of grace. Still had that Naruto uzumaki fixation level for tacos though. I made sure to stock up on quite a lot of the soft shell taco food because I had issues with hard shell versions. Cut the inside of your mouth with the sharp edges when you bite them seventeen times and you would get that kind of issues too.

She does have her moments of being a ditz but in a still cute way. Rarity had to make her a whole new wardrobe to fit her which I found interesting. Still the colors she wore before but in a different style. I ended up getting a new style as well as since I said I was a detective Rarity made my new outfit to reflect it. I kept my blue and white jacket but now wore a black dress shirt with a red vest and black slacks with red trim. My shoes were replaced by boots which were durable and held a design similar to drive type zero's armor. Next went a identical looking glove to my rift glove but in a similar color scheme to it. To finish the look was a black fedora with a red band on it. No ties though as I didn't know how to put one on.

Sonata now wore a feminine version of my outfit in her colors and had her symbol over her heart on the clothes. I tried not to think of her figure. Adagio and Aria have been teaching me how to best keep a siren calm and how not to piss off sonata. After seeing her fight I knew not to make her mad. It took a bit to resolve the mind control issue over the school and explain what had happened to everyone but since the issue was resolved the dazzlings were not run off. Trixie though still found the two other dazzlings to be good friends for her and I joked to the others maybe they can help her tone down her personality. Seriously referring to your self in the 3rd person and being that loud was not good at all.

To my annoyance Rarity had turned the colors of my jacket to match the outfit of black and red. And placed drive's emblem on the back and the zip up pocket over the area of my heart on it. And of course I still had my drive driver and shift brace.

Though I did get confronted by Twilight when she realized justice hunter had appeared out of thin air with my gun.

In the end I had to explain to everyone the gamer ability I gained. Not surprising pinkie and rainbow were jealous at the ability to treat life like a game but I told them my thoughts on it.

"Sure but I'm not letting this ability change me at my core. I still have to live as if I don't have this ability. All it is to me is that my life just gets interesting but I am still myself. You remember how every gamer acts to progressing the game? How would you feel if that happens all the time for the rest of your life? That way leads to insanity" I said giving them my best glare.

"Okay point it's not fun when others think your a murderer" said Rainbow quickly seeing the reason I said that.

"Considering I'm on a multiversal journey I'm going to be facing quite a lot of stuff similar to when I fought that member of delta crossend. I'm still ashamed I even thought them up in a book I'm writing. How was I to know they would become real! Dang multiverse theory and the application to media!" I said before becoming depressed a bit as shortly after I had been confronted by Twilight I let everyone know how I knew delta crossend and their goals.

"Well your not responsible for their actions sure you thought them up but your not responsible for their actions now" said Twilight.

I had added Sonata to my party but I told her we should start slow and get to know each other before actually going on a date. She ended up getting my gamer ability as a result so now she can join me on my journey. The past few days were spent helping twilight through her grief though flash I had to remind that twilight was usually a actual horse in her world it took me tracking down this world's Twilight in crystal prep to get him to leave Twilight alone. I had fun arresting that principal for going against school conduct and not caring about the abuse she heaped on the students.

I actually gotten a case from this world's shining armor to investigate why his sister seemed to focused on her studies and becoming more and more stressed. Recording what went on in the school and how the principal just wanted to win was enough to land her in prison as it looked like she made a student create a split personality disorder with one side being evil, the result of the abuse, cadence of this world was giving that one therapy so I hoped she was okay. This ended up as a quest that gave me a actually legit detective license and badge. Twilight and her counterpart then met and was very different. From each other. I had to explain what happened to her world and that she had no where to go to her counterparts family. Got awkward when princess Twilight revealed her cadence and shining armor were married. Turned out that hasn't happened yet much to her shock.

Transferring local Twilight to the school wasn't a issue. A lot of crystal prep students got transfered to other schools to recover from the abuse. I did have both Twilight's keep a eye on the local starlight glimmer though I don't want her becoming like her pony counterpart.

With that I was just getting ready to leave the universe with sonata and I waved to the group I honestly could call friends.

This time I opened a rift instead of just flashing my body out. The two of us entered the bike and drove off into the rift which closed after we left. A sub routine I placed in my glove locking the dimension from invaders.
