After Applejack and Pinkie Pie get engaged, their families decide to celebrate Hearth's Warming Eve as one big, happy family. But each family has their own traditions, and both Pinkie and AJ are too stubborn to compromise. When the incompatibility of their families ruins the holiday for everypony, it looks like it might be time to call the wedding off…

This story is based on the events of the episode "Hearthbreakers." Basically, it's how the events of that episode would play out in an alternate universe, which is exactly the same except Applejack and Pinkie Pie are absolutely NOT distant cousins in any possible way!
