Destruction visits Equestria

Everything was calm at first.  Everything was but a wasteland of what used to be a beautiful grassy field.  But then...

BOOM

The two silhouettes clashed.  One was a silhouette of deep magenta, the other of purple.  The magenta being had wings and a single horn atop its head.  The other had large ears and a long tail.  Their battle went on for what felt like an eternity.  The dirt and stone beneath them crumbled to nothing.  The clouds above them would fade to nothing.  Just as they were about to clash once more.

"Lord Beerus, it's time to wake up!"  Called his attendant Whis.

The God of Destruction woke up, only to roll over and try to fall back to sleep. "Five more years Whis..." He'd mumble, starting to suck his thumb.

Whis would sigh, shaking his head.  "The universe can't wait another 5 years.  Not only that but if you don't get up you're backup alarms are gonna---"

BOOM BANG BOOM

Beerus grumbled through the smoke and debris the 'backup alarms' made.  "Alright Whis...I'm up..." He said, slowly getting up from his small bed.

He stretched and made a loud yawn, lifting a leg off the edge of his bed fell off the floating rock.  He hit the ground with a loud thud, but rolled up and rubbed his head.  He stretched out and he stood up.

Whis tapped his staff onto the ground a few times, making Beerus' pajamas disappear and a towel appear around his waist.  "Now I want you to take your bath, make sure to wash this time."

To this, Beerus only grumbled as he lazily walked towards the hot springs.  He climbed into the springs with a relaxed sigh, Whis appearing just out of the springs.

"So Whis, tell me...What's happened during my slumber?  Anything I should be concerned about?"

The god asked, not bothering to look at Whis.  Whis looked into the orb of his staff, searching through space.  "Well, there was a certain battle that caught my eye...though it may not be much---"

"Show me" Ordered the big purple jackal.  Whis nodded and tapped the staff on the ground a few times, causing the orb to show a hologram screen.  The screen showed the battle between Twilight and Tirek.

"Hm...who are these two beings?"  Beerus looked to Whis, expecting an answer.  "The alicorn you see there is named Twilight Sparkle.  While the centaur calls himself Tirek"

Beerus' eyes seemed to widen ever so slightly. "Alicorn?  Alicorn....Hm..." Beerus thought to himself for a moment, which caused Whis to tilt his head.  "Yes Lord Beerus, that's what I said."

Beerus ignored him, now being in deep thought.  "No...I remember that from somewhere!  It was Alicorn...Alicorn....Goddess!"  He exclaimed, now standing up.  "It was in my dream!  I fought a being who liked just like her!"

"Um...Lord Beerus..." Whis said, looking away with a small shade of pink on his cheeks.  Beerus looked down and then quickly sat back into the water.  "Whis, what planet did this battle take place?"

For the next minute or two, Whis searched through space before stating.  "It took place on a small planet called Equis.  Or to be more specific, the land of Equestria."

Beerus stepped out of the springs, Whis tapped his staff on the ground a few more times which made Beerus' clothing appear on him.  "Tell me, how long will it take to get to 'Equis'?"  Beerus asked, walking out of the room and proceeding down the seemingly endless staircase.

"About 17 minutes." Whis said, following close behind.  This caused the god to groan.  "17 minutes?  Well, at least it's not that far away..."  He sat down at a long dining table, which was filled with platters, bowls, and cups of all different kinds of food and drink.

Whis smiled, making his staff vanish into thin air.  "Well, we can visit.  But first you have to eat.  Can't have you of all people traveling on an empty stomach."

"What's THAT supposed to mean?" growled the god.  He brushed it off, and went to thinking as he ate.

"Alicorn Goddess...just what are you..?"
