Jake Wolf, a former writer who's lost everything, goes to Equestria in the middle of a thunderstorm. He's not sure how the storm led to him being there but he knows that it fits with his mood. While there he meets many ponies who change him in many ways, some subtle others not so much. Can he survive, or will his new world devour him and leave him an empty husk of who he once was? Or will it revitalize him and pour light into a broken heart?
