Princess Twilight & Sunset Shimmer's Battle

"But the magic's all I really want to see..."

Those were the words spoken by Twilight Sparkle before opening her spectrometer, and becoming engulfed in a large sphere of pure dark energy. She looked behind her in utter panic as she was physically and mentally engulfed by the Equestrian energies. Sunset Shimmer watched as Twilight began a twisted transformation. Her hair went up in a fiery style, she gained gloves and shoes made of energy. She sprouted demonic wings and a twisted horn before opening her eyes, now surrounded by a blue energy ring. Principal Cinch, the instigator behind Twilight's transformation, backed away in fear of her own safety.

"Mwahahahahahaha! You were right! I didn't understand magic before, BUT I DO NOW!!!" the now-evil Twilight called out as she destroyed the Wondercolt statue, creating an inter-dimensional rift, revealing Equestria on the other side. Cracks appeared on the surface below, Twilight waited patiently as she charged magic through her arm, firing at the crack as it got under Sunset's feet. She began tearing more rifts to Equestria, surrounding her with gateways to this alternate world she so desperately wanted to conquer.

In Equestria, Princess Twilight could see the damage the rifts were causing toward Ponyville, Canterlot, Cloudsdale and the Crystal Empire. She had to take a drastic course of action, and leaped through the largest rift she could find, landing on two feet upon crossing dimensions into CHS.

"Well, well, well. Glad you could make it, Princess. And you brought your magic with you too! Hahaha!" Twilight cackled as Sunset rushed over to the Princess of Friendship's side. They both looked up, sizing their adversary and carefully assess the situation. While doing this, one thought crossed Sunset's mind.

"How do you know about the Elements of Harmony?" Sunset yelled as Twilight gave her and her Equestrian counterpart malicious glares. She looked through one rift and saw the Tree of Harmony, along with the Elements. And just like that,  her intention was clear.

"Now I will destroy the Tree of Harmony AND the Elements!! Soon, both worlds will tremble before MIDNIGHT SPARKLE!!!"
