Princess Twilight & Sunset Shimmer's Battle

"T-Twilight..."

Sunset Shimmer got down on her knees, next to Twilight's body, completely drained of magic. "Twilight, I'm sorry. I'm sorry...." Sunset began breaking down into tears as she hugged Princess Twilight. After a few minutes, the Princess woke up, her irises nearly completely drained of colour.

"S-Sunset...you have to stop her.."

"But HOW, HOW do I stop her?! She has YOUR Element of Magic now!!"

"There's magic flowing around you, you need to absorb it into the spectrometer and use it to transform into something as powerful as she is" Twilight blacked out after this sentence.

Sunset realised what she must do now, and absorbed some of the Equestrian magic left in the armosphere. She watched as Midnight approached the portal to the Tree of Harmony. She HAD to be stopped. So, without a second doubt, Sunset slammed the spectrometer and absorbed the magic into her. She began an angelic transformation. Her hair flowed up, she gained an angelic dress, and a glowing yellow horn. She looked at Midnight and sealed the rift to the Tree, and all the other rifts Midnight had created. The demonic Twilight looked at Sunset, and charged full-force at Sunset.

Quickly, Sunset deflected the force of the attack and shot a large laser at Midnight, who countered with her own magical blast. The two beams were being reflected back and forth from each other, when Midnight began gaining the upper hand, and almost fully deflected Sunset's beam back at her.

"Twilight..stop! Look at yourself! This isn't you!"

Midnight suddenly realised what she was doing, and what she had become, and gave Sunset the opening she needed to fully deflect Midnight's attack back at her. Midnight screamed as the magic washed over her body like a tsunami. "NNNNNNOOOOO!!!!"

Sunset approached Midnight, who was now cowering in fear, and offered Twilight her hand. "Take my hand Twilight. Let me show you there's another way. Just like someone once did for me." Midnight was at first hesitant, but took Sunset's hand in the end. All the magic Twilight had collected, and Princess Twilight, as well as the Element of Magic, were teleported back to Equestria.

Twilight Sparkle backed away in fear from Sunset, her eyes filled with tears.

"I-I'm so sorry....I never meant for this to happen..."

Sunset held Twilight's hands, and gave her a re-assuring look. "I know, and going by my own experiences, they'll forgive you." Twilight smiled as Sunset kept holding her hands, sealing the fact that she and Sunset were now frienda.
