When something horrible occurs, the buffaloes lose their trust in the ponies of Appleoosa and the peace between them is broken again. Wanting harmony back, Braeburn and Little Strongheart agree to marry each other in hopes that the fighting will stop. Unforunately, Little Strongheart must stop a few hurts of her own if she is to ever learn to love her new husband.
