A Thousand Moons

Darling, I know it's been a roller coaster of emotions for you. But, I want you to know you have to stay strong. Your so sweet and fragile that I wouldn't dare to upset you.

However, you have those moments in time when, you know, you just reflect on your past. Though, your not thinking about the future.

This might sound cliche, but, you need to keep your head high. When your down in the dumps, daddy will always be here for you no matter what. I know I wasn't there for you in the past. Just, put the past behind you and look into the present... look into the future.

Mommy may not be here, but she'll always be in your heart. She'll be looking over you, letting nothing touch you. She cares about you, darling, and you need to remind yourself.

The past will never go away, it will always creep back up the horizon and I know how that feels.

When I got turned into stone, I lost everything. My life, my heart and you. Your mother wasn't around to witness the pain, but it would of still hurt her to know. When I got realised, all I wanted was the world, just so the pain wouldn't hurt. Although I got turned into stone once more, I got realised out of stone once more. My dearest friend Fluttershy showed me another way, that there will always be a brighter future.

She had faith in me and I appreciate it. We were very close, her and I. Defiantly not 'that close'. Although, I had the feeling we had something stronger between us, but I knew it would never work out. And honestly, it broke my heart. She was the first pony to reach out to me and always guide me in the right directons.

Maybe the future doesn't look bright now, but you need to trust me. Look through the eyes of your loved ones, and see what there future holds.

I look through your eyes and see a family with a loving daughter, a caring father and that missing puzzle piece of your heart, a mother. It may not be the same, but she'll always be there for you.

I don't know who, and nether do you. It's hard to predict the future, even for me. All I want you to do is take a step further in life, take that risk. And I know that risk will be worth it in the end.

Your are strong, Screwball. Even if you are a light hearted mare, you'll always be the daughter I knew. I love you, sweet heart.
