Predator: FracturedHearts

Sapphire gasped and watched as Fractured continued to hold Iron Will back, Sapphire was surprised by the strength the mare had and it actually made her feel comfortable at the moment but the griffon's state of mind was to try and find a way out of this, as far as she was aware all ponies were dangerous. That she should get away now before they all choose to kill her, Sapphire didn't know much about them and from what  her father had told her, she didn't want to know anything else.

"Iron Will!! Stop this and give up! She didn't do this and wasn't the cause of this" Fractured growled and pushed down on the barrel of Iron Wills gun again. This time the weapon fell to the ground and the earthpony stomped a hoof, "She is our enemy, yes but there is something else out there we should be more worried about. Cranky's head just exploded and I would like to keep mine on my shoulders" Fractured moved her gun until it was slung over her back, "Now lets get moving before we end up like Cranky, we can take the Griffon with us if it makes you feel better" Sapphire gulped and her wings slowly drooped to the dirt, her white feathers were now tipped with brown from the struggle she had out here a moment ago, she took a deep breath and with a slight tear in her eyes she stepped forward and began to speak, this got the attention of the ponies.

"I'm sorry you lost your captain, I can understand what its like to loose friends....I couldn't imagine the feeling of loosing my own captain" Sapphire wasn't going to tell them but her captain was her father, the longer she was out here missing. The more and more the Griffon Guerrillas would grow angry, with Sapphire gone it wouldn't be long before a battle would break out. "My condolences to your captain,  ponies, he looked like a great man"she was obviously not truthful on that last part, Sapphire though Cranky was a jerk off from the two seconds she saw him, he was going to shoot her without reason. She had done nothing wrong.

"You be quiet or I will kill you, she might think you had nothing to do with this but I still feel otherwise. Open your beak again and you will see how quick I can close it" Iron Will finally picked his weapon up from the ground and Sapphire frowned stepping back, her wings drooped more to the floor and she tried not to whimper even if she really wanted too. "Lets get moving everypony! We head to the griffon base like planned, even if our captain is gone.."

The sun was setting and Gallants was growing worried as the scouts had not returned, again. He was more worried because he knew that Sapphire had gone with them, he didn't want to think about it but he couldn't help but think maybe she was dead like the rest that had gone out on scouting missions near the river. No Griffon had told the captain either that his daughter had gone out, if he was to find out that she was missing and hasn't returned it would be all their heads.

"This is not good...not good at all, we have to do something" Gallants looked to the rest of the Griffons who knew, it was a small group of five and they were the only ones who knew that Sapphire had left.

"Yeah we know Gallants but how are we supposed to sneak out of here, Sapphire was able too because nobody questions what she does. She comes and goes as she pleases"

"Yeah but...there has to be a way" Gallants jumped forward slamming his talons into the dirt as he clenched his beak closed, he was worked up and ready to fight at this point. A black griffon stood up and moved him back shaking his head, he knew why Gallants wanted to go looking the most out of all of them. Gallants tried to push back but this guy was tough and one that shove. "Come on....we have to do something about this. She is the captains daughter for Celestial Sake!!" The black griffon smiled and nodded.

"Yeah and you think going after her will win her affection or get her to notice your feelings, right? How about when she returns  you grow up and just tell her" The rest of the griffons around who were part of this got up and backed away knowing exactly what was going to happen next. "How about you grow up Gallants, this is the real world not your fantasy island where love just happens" Gallants glared and out of pure instinct and rage lunged his body forward and tackled the large griffon. When they both smacked the ground they both began to fight and roll around on the ground swinging their talons and growling and hissing even.

"Hey come on guys! Knock it off or hurry it up before the captain hears you" The two continued to fight and a faint crackle like laugh came up from the trees. The glass eyes of the predator now looked down from above as the two continued to fight, it was like the thing was watching them...studying them for a weakness. The griffons below continued unknowing of the danger that now watches "Guys seriously knock it off!"

"Knock it off~ off off offf" A voice from the trees now spoke and the griffons who had just got done saying that walked off from the group, he was the only one who heard it. Gallants was getting his ass handed as the black griffon kept him on the ground and hit him over and over with his beak and claws. Gallants however was stronger than her looked and managed to get his hind legs on the others chest and pushed him off. "Over here here here" the small griffon who just wanted the fighting to stop halted when he heard the voice again, "Thats good" The griffons eyes widened as blood sprayed from his chest, the rest of the griffons stopped and Gallants pushed the dark one away.

"Get off!! Stay away from me from now on, Shadow" Gallants looked over as he noticed the others were looking at something, he gasped a  spear began to seemingly materialize inside the small griffon's chest before he toppled over landing on his side. The others stood there and Gallants shook his head running inside the watch tower, "Ponies are attacking!! Sound the alarm!!" Gallants stopped and placed a talon over his beak trying not too puke, the Griffon in charge of the tower was in his chair but his head was almost falling off of his body , neck slit so much it was hanging by a bit of flesh. "Oh my Celestia...no..."Gallant reached over and hit the alarm and it began to ring.
