Twilight's Journey:The Amulet of Fire

  It was a beautiful day in Pony Ville. The sun was shining, phillies and colts were playing, and Twilight Sparkle was sitting in her castle library reading a book on the history of Equestria. Twilight sat there like a statue staring at the book on the table in front of her. She loves books almost as much as her friends, but today she just didn't feel like reading. She layed her head down on the book and sighed.

  "What's wrong Twilight" asked her dragon helper Spike.

  "Nothing" Twilight said.

  "Twilight, I can tell that something is wrong" he said, setting down the stack of books he was holding.

  "Well, you know today is my birthday and I wanted to spend the day with my friends, but they didn't come today."

  Suddenly the library door burst open. Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie, walked in.

  "Happy Birthday Twilight" Pinkie Pie shouted.

  "Hi, girls" Twilight said "I was hoping you would come by today."

  "We have a big surprise for you" Applejack said "you just need to close your eyes and come with us."

  Twilight closed her eyes and Fluttershy grabbed her hand and led her towards the front door of the castle. Spike reached behind a stack of books and pulled out a purple box wrapped in a pink ribbon with a pink bow on top. Then he, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie walked out the door.

  They walked for a while and then they stopped.

  "Ok, darling you can open your eyes now" Rarity said.

  Twilight opened her eyes and they were standing in the cave by the tree of Harmony. The cave was decorated with ribbons and  bows. In one corner of the cave there were two tables. On one table there was a cake and cups of lemonade. On the other tables sat presents. Twilight turned around.

  "Happy Birthday" all of her friends shouted together.

  Twilight stood shocked at what her friends had done for her.
