I stood in the garden section of Canterlot Castle, one of the few statues that was placed inside. It was approaching dawn of the day of, if my guess on the timeline was correct, The Return of Harmony. It was still dark but the CMC and the rest of their class would arrive and free Discord in only a few hours. That is when I fell off my pedestal and flat on my face. I was too surprised to feel the pain. Suddenly I was free, no sound, no reason, just free. So what was the best idea I had to alert Tia and Lulu to my freedom, to give the prior a heart attack. I took an hour or so getting used to my new body, fuck you Merchant, and began sneaking through the castle, using my tail to put out torches as I went. Crawling silently on the ceiling or walls when there was a guard. After a few minutes and a lot of guards jumping and relighting torches, I made it to Tia's room, thank you map. I quietly opened the doors and snuck in, she was asleep with a small smile on her face. Her bed was a circular decorative four-poster with purple curtains, and the rest of the room was designed to match. I was going to hide in the closet and make noise, but due to the fact that I got to see the side of her only close friends saw, I decided to spare myself the trauma caused by Molestia's closet. I snuck up close to her bed and slowly pulled the covers back, waking her from the chill.

"Hello" she asked, feeling a presence in the room. She lit the torch with magic and got up to investigate, by now I was under the bed. As she stepped out of bed I grabbed her leg and pulled her under as she screamed in surprise, it was a surprisingly girlish scream. "OH MY ME, SIX, YOUR FREE, on another note I will get you back for that!" she cried hugging me so hard she was actually bending the tubes on my back a little.

"Ow, your hurting me" I said over our link, "and it is good to finally move again my que... Tia".

"Sister art you al..." Lulu said as she ran into the room, a smile forming on her face, revealing her fangs, as she saw me and joined the hug. "Tis good see you free, old friend, your presence explains the fear I smell on most of the guards". Lulu had been added to the link not long after I was stoned, the Nightmare turn was hard on us all.

"Isn't it great Lulu" Tia said, "and plus now I get to test how that tail feels" she finished in a tone that would make anyone nervous if they heard it from their superior, as I did.

POV Third Person

"This next statue represents war, and honor" Cherrilee said as they rounded a corner on the Interior part of the Garden. "It is said it was sent by the gods to aid in the battle against Discord, it's also one of my favor....ites, oh, well It appears they are in the middle of cleaning it". The class looked at the pedestal that once held up Six, but now held a sign saying, 'maintenance, we are sorry for the inconvenience'.

POV Specimen Six

I stood at Celestia's side as she addressed six mares in front of me, I was able to recognize them as the main six. Applejack wore a white T-shirt with some overalls and faded work boots covered in dried mud. Rarity wore a white elegant yet slim dress, that looked like normal movement was still considered in its making, with some high heels. Fluttershy wore a plain yellow T-shirt and some baggy short jeans. Rainbowdash wore a tight, low cut, green tank top, that had been cut to expose her stomach, with some tight jeans that had been cut so far up that you could see a good majority of the pockets, and sneakers. Twilight wore... a mages robe, go figure. Lastly Pinkie wore a black T-shirt that said 'PARTAY!!!!!' on it and matching leggings that I could tell said YUMM on the back do to the reflective ish floor. "Now girls", Tia said, "I'd like you all to meet Six, the one who helped Luna and I defeat an enemy I long thought gone forever, which brings me to the reason you are here, that enemy is free. His name is Discord, you may know him from Ponyism as the god of chaos. He usurped us for a short while and ran Equestria in an eternal state of chaos".

"Oh really Celestia", his voice emanated from nowhere in particular, "no mention of our relationship. Typical, not wanting to admit your mistakes. I still don't know the full extent of these powers you oh so graciously bestowed upon me". He noticed the questioning look I sent at Tia, along with the looks of the main six. "Oh~, so they don't know the story. Well sit down Kiddies, Daddy has a story for ya". With that he poofed us all into chairs and chained to them the girls struggled, Celestia looked? Ashamed! I just figured I'd listen to what he had to say, seeing as I could tear the chains off without much effort, xenomorph strength is no fucking joke. Discord then appeared in front of us dressed in a Halloween dad costume, a book in hand.

Flashback Time

(1200 years ago)

An aging stallion named Chaos Theorem looked down at the sleeping teen Alicorn in his arms as he carried her back to the palace. His cutie mark was a chaos symbol, he wore a suit of armor given only to the captain of the guard. Not surprising as that's what he was, but he preferred to be known as a stallion of science. He had devoted his life to the study of chaos. Which, as you would guess, involved a lot of throwing things at a big grid and recording where they landed, he saw a kind of beauty in the randomness of where they landed, the uncertainty of the universe. He was torn from his train of thought by the Alicorn stirring, "oh, Chaos, uurrrrrg, how much didst we drink", the Alicorn known as Celestia said, rubbing her eyes.

"Quite a lot princess, we art surprised thou art awake", Chaos replied, "the drink at least aided us in preventing thou from traumatizing another of thine subjects". By now they had made it to her room and he placed her in bed, and walked out to go home, she likely would not remember tonight, and her hangover would do wonders for the exercises he had planed for her. He walked home as quick as he could, hoping to say goodnight to his children.

"Daddy daddy!" his two children yelled as he walked through the door, running into his arms as he crouched and picked them up.

"Hello" Chaos responded with a smile, "tell me were thee good for thine mother".

"We were right" his wife and Starswirl's assistant Clover said, walking in with a smile, "weren't we?" she said with a cheeky grin.

"True the princess did get rather drunk, she is not going to do as well as usual tomorrow, now off to bed you two" looking at his twin boy and girl, only to realize they already fell asleep in his arm. He put them in bed and went to sleep.

The next morning he arrived and woke both princesses one of which was half dead during the day, the other was hungover. "Alright thou two what is the first rule of royalty?!"

"Protect thine subjects", they mumbled.

"I can't hear you!"

"Protect thine subjects!" they shouted together.

"And to do that one must?!"

"Know how to fight!"

And with that the two alicorns rushed forward at the unicorn. Celestia attacked first attempting to punch chaos in the face, as Luna leaped high into the air, he caught her arm and spun her around using her as a flail to stop Lunas incoming scissor kick, throwing both mares over ten feet away. Celestia hit the wall and started holding her head moaning, while Luna rolled along the ground stopping in a crouch just before said wall and launching forward. She threw an uppercut fallowed by a gut punch, neither making contact as Chaos blocked one with each hand. Luna responded by roundhousing him in the side. He slid a bit but he did not fall over, he faked a punch at her head then spun around her as she tried to block the fake punch, with not a second of hesitation he reached over his head and grabbed her wings using them to hoist her over his head and slam her onto the dirt floor of the indoor training area. By now Celestia had recovered from her earlier flight and was rushing forward a morning star, a very large and spikey mace or flail, in hand, hers was of the mace variety, Chaos stood his ground, using his magic to draw a duel sided naginata, a large spear like weapon with a short katana blade at the end, to his hand, his having a blade on each end, instead of just one. He used the pole area to block the large ball of spikes, he twirled swing the naginata around and then at Celestia side, only to be blocked by a rapier, a long thin sword like cone coming to an extremely sharp point and having a dome guard, in Luna's hand, she brought the stabbing weapon up and aimed a stab at Chaos's face, he brought the blade up to block the point only to have his block stopped Celestia's morning star hitting the blade of the naginata. The point of Luna's Rapier stopping just before his eye, signifying an end to the match, as in real combat, he would be dead.

"Much better, obviously we can no longer afford to hold back for thee two, my only hope is that in a few years thou can beat us going all out", he said to the girls. "As for problems, Celestia, we would say speed up thine recovery from hits but thou does have a hangover so it shall be excused this once, but in the future take the time to cast a sobriety spell on thyself, and how many times must we tell thee the morning star is a two handed weapon, thou may be able to lift it in one hand with thine alicornian strength, but thou will get more speed and force behind it with two, Luna thou art too easily tricked in combat, thou must learn to recognize fake strikes before thou tries to block them, and for Fousts sake close thine wings while using gravity as an aid to thine strikes such as with thine scissor kicks. Now. Again."

The day continued on like this with a few breaks until the princesses switched to training with Starswirl. Life continued normally for a few years, Celestia and Luna Finished their training with both teachers. Then it happened. The Caribou attacked, they took over village by village, town by town, casting spells that would render all male ponies producing 90% X chromosome sperm for the rest of eternity, and enslaving all females and a few males. No one could stop them, they had tech the Equestrians had only heard rumors of, muskets and cannons. Even the captain of the royal guard, Chaos Theorem, stood no chance, shot and killed at point blank. So, with heavy hearts the, by now adult, princesses made a hard choice, to use magic long sense forgotten by the populace, Eldritch magic. They had their finest spy recover the body of Chaos Theorem, and began the terrible act. Gathering the most powerful sorcerers from throughout their land, they cast a spell.

"C' l' uln r'luhhor mgephaiagl", the 28 unicorns and two alicorns said in unison, "l' tharanak price ot yeeogng yeeogogng orr'ee, l' nogephaii ehye cahf mgepah mgepr'luh, llll r'luhh ot r'luhhor ng syha'h'bthnk"

And with that Chaos bean to rise into the air in a whirl of blue and purple eldritch lightning. His body became that of a race long since dead. His eyes shot open, one noticeably bigger than the other. "C-Chaos" Celestia and Luna said in unison, approaching him cautiously.

"No" he responded, "but yes though the name fits it sounds a bit more like what I am", he said in an all too jovial tone " call me Discord, and trust me you have not had a bad day until you die. It was so boring, the afterlife doesn't have a great entertainment array, so good to be back, so tell me, Sunbutt, Mooncheeks, how are those lovely caribou doing". Before they could respond however three hundred shrieks emanated from all around them but the three loudest seemed to cause Discord a large amount of distress. "What have you done" he said in a scarily serious tone, "first the caribou, for killing me, and then you, for killing my family". He then walked outside, using magic to summon his naginata, he began the slaughter, he didn't even try to evade the attacks, he slowly realized through the course of it that he had some control over reality. Using this newfound power to turn the caribou's weapons into some very angry cone snails and Gwardar snakes.

Present Time

"And the rest, as they say", Discord said with a flourish, "is history" the book and costume disappearing as he slammed it shut.

" Princess Celestia" Twilight pleaded, eyes watering, "tell me he's lying, please".

"It just can't be the truth", Applejack said, in a line she would say again later today.

Pinkie and the rest looked mortified, aside from Fluttershy who was giving Celestia the stare, and let me tell you it is completely different in person than through a TV screen, it was utterly terrifying, and it wasn't even pointed at me. From the face of terror on Celestia and the smell of urine I realized just how scary, mental note, never piss off Fluttershy. Then I stood up, easily destroying the chains, like I said, no joke, I can punch a hole in a reinforced and pressurized steel door, I've never done it, but I watched the movies. I made a noise similar to shrieking and Fluttershy looked at me surprised, she looked at discord in fear and said "u-um h-h-he said that d-d-d-doesn't matter, b-b-because the p-princesses had n-n-no control over who the gods t-took. I-I-If you are going to b-b-b-blame anyone it should b-be them"

"Oh please, I'm not going to kill them, watching their precious ponies fall into a world of chaos would be so much more fitting", and with that his naginata appeared in his hand, It was very ornate, having a pink and black checkerboard staff and the blades coming from the mouth of small busts of his head. "Of course to do that, at the very least the Xenomorph has to die, lest it aid in stopping me again". Everyone aside from Discord looked at me with a face that said xeno-whaty, Discord started repeatedly slashing at me, it wasn't hard to block his weapon with my tail, for as strong as I am now, my speed is matching. That being said, the skill difference between us was quite a different story, the others were still chained up, struggling against the chains, but they weren't getting free any time soon. Discord was pushing me back, occasionally slashing somewhere other than my tail blade, witch was the only part of me that couldn't be cut. I felt his blade begin to cut my skull, and had a single thought before the world went black, 'Worst. Displaced. Ever.'

POV Third Person

Celestia looked on in horror, as six was cut down, his blood burning through the floor, and his body falling through, the girls looked worried at most. They hadn't gotten to know six, all they knew of him was that he tried and failed to help, and there were more important concerns at the moment. "Now I'm not completely unfair", Discord said, "how about a hint, my way though, twists and turns are my master plan, then find the elements back where you began".

"What do you mean find the elements", rainbow shouted, "did you take them, give them back so we can blast you".

"Well of course I took them", Discord said, "what am I just supposed to let you find the very objects that can defeat me, just because I'm a god, doesn't mean I'm overly arrogant or lack foresight".

With that he and the chains disappeared and the world began to fall apart, literally in some places.
"Twists and turns", Twilight said, snapping her fingers she looked out the windows and screamed "The Maze!!". She and the girls ran out to the maze.

"Six" Celestia whispered, before beginning to cry, Luna knew nothing of this as she slept, dead to the world.

POV ????

I stood in the caverns beneath Canterlot, soon the city would belong to me and my army of the undead. I had just finished bringing a brute of a stallion to life as a mindless tank only for the roof of the cavern to burn away and a green liquid to splash onto the new zombie, melting him into a puddle, and the corpse of some monster which appeared to be bleeding the green acid to slam down in its place. "Umm, Ok then", I said to myself, "what the actual fuck, how did this happen, what is this, I just, I don't understand". After a few moment the monsters corpse dissolved and a very big spider with no eyes and a long tail was left in its place. It moved and appeared to look at me somehow, I slowly moved down towards it, lighting up my horn to get a better look at the creature. Suddenly it leapt onto my face and shoved a long tube down my throat, using it's tail to choke me. I felt myself slip unconscious. When I came to the spider thing was dead and lying next to me. I got up slowly and proceeded to run to my makeshift kitchen and scarf down all the food I could get my hands on. Until I doubled over in pain from the throbbing in my chest, it felt like my heart was trying to jump out.

POV Specimen Six

I suddenly woke up to the feeling of my forehead burning, this in it's self was surprising as I had died not long ago. But to the point I started slamming my face against my cage on instinct, I burst free of my prison and immediately noticed I was coming from the chest of a unicorn, off to the left I saw a facehugger, and to my right an army of zombies falling to the ground suddenly dead again. For some reason I no longer had arms or legs, unsure I just sat there until for some reason I puked a black liquid all over myself and went to sleep when fully submerged. I would wake up every half hour or so, free my self from a discarded layer of skin, and go back to sleep, within a few hours I was back to being my full size. I rubbed my head taking note of the 6 still being there somehow, and that I had grown multiple spikes along the top of my head crest, ok then. They were knife like and pointed up, very sharp and had a swirl indented around each of them. Wanting to know if the mental link still worked after my death, I reached out to Celestia.
"Hello, testing testing 123".

"S-Six, b-b-but you died, h-how is this possible" she said along the link.

"Remember how in a conversation years ago I mentioned how my species reproduces?" I asked.

"Yes, with the face hugger" she replied.

"Well, I'm next to a dead one" I thought to her sheepishly.

"... OH MY ME, WHO DID YOU KILL!?!?" she yelled.

"Just some necromancer, she had an army, but with their boker dead they are once again corpses...maybe" I poked the nearest one a few time. "Yes, just corpses".

"...The fact that you dying prevented a zombie army from invading is so lucky on so many levels" she thought .

"I know right" I said, climbing the hole, into the throne room "and look, horns".

"HUUUURRRRRRAAAAGGGGGHHH OW, MOTHER OF US, FUCK", I heard a voice shout behind me. I turned around to see that Luna was awake and bashing herself against the door to the castle, trying to open the magic proof doors which looked like Discord may have actually welded shut.

"Lulu let me handle that" I said walking up to the door with Celestia

"If thou thinks thou can six, but the metal is holding tight", she said gesturing to the door. I walked up and proceeded to climb the wall and use my claws to cut the hinges. Causing the door to fall to the floor, the princesses jumping back to avoid it. "Shut it!" she said looking at me and my shit eating grin.

"Meet you guys at Ponyville", I said running on all fours out the door, and xenomorphs are fast, really fast. Within minutes I made it to Ponyville, the girls were there and normal colored, fighting Discord to try and get him to hold still. Pinkie was using a very large mallet, like Harley Quinn's, it was pink and had balloons all over it. Rarity was using... "THE HARKONEN, HOW THE FUCK CAN SHE LIFT IT, LET ALONE FIRE IT!!??", she also had an armband with a few throwing knives and a larger, close quarters dagger. Applejack was hefting a rather large battle ax, It had an apple decal in the center, but other that that it was just a big ax. Fluttershy surprised me, using a broad sword, which was humorously covered in pink butterflies. Rainbow dash was using blue tonfa blades, she seemed to have great control of the speed based weapons. It was Twilight that scared me, her hood up and a very big Scythe in her hands she looked the very image of death, made all the more terrifying by the magenta manna that danced and sparked along the weapon. With six opponents likely trained by Celestia and Luna, Discord was more defensive, but still mopping the floor with them, literally in Rarity's case. The Fashionista had found herself upside down her hair being used to mop the floor. Pinkie dashed forward, attempting to slam the hammer on Discords head, only for him to block using Rarity's face, knocking the unicorn unconscious.

"Oops", pinkies said, "sorry Rarity". The rest rushed forward at once, Discord threw Rarity into pinkie and round housed the rest with one kick. He brought the blade of the naginata down trying to kill Twilight. Only to feel a sharp pain as I stabbed him from behind with my tail, he looked at his chest and the blade of my tail protruding from it.

"huh, didn't I kill you", he asked, "oh well, I'll just have to try again". That's when things got weird, the world began to look more and more like it did in the show, the only real difference was that the sun and moon weren't switching back and forth.

'Oh shit' I thought, ripping my tail through his side getting into a defensive pose.

POV Third Person

Six stared at the god that stood before him, and while he clearly outmatched discord in speed, Discord was clearly much more skilled. Discord attacked while six was lost in thought, plunging one of the blades towards his head. 'Oh shit, defense', Six thought as he brought his arms over his head. The blade never made contact having stopped dead on an opaque black shield spell as Six's horns seemed to glow with an aura of the same color. Six decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth, and just roll with it. Only he couldn't, not only had he stopped paying attention to it, having it up for just a moment had drained him of manna. Six went in for another attack, only to be launched back sliding along the ground which was now made of a slippery liquid soap. When he looked back there was Celestia and Luna, no weapons, no armor, this was not a fight. "Discord, stop this", Celestia said a look of sorrow and fear on her face, "you think we don't feel bad. Images of what we did, of the ponies we sacrificed to bring you back", she began to cry, "they torment me every night. It was the single worst decision of our lives, we hurt so many that night, and not a day goes by that we think of a better end to it. Equestria had the sun and moon on our side but we were too noble to use the obvious choice. We learned from our mistake and for that no one dares attack us, but that doesn't easy the pain. It doesn't change what we did, we killed three hundred of our own subjects to bring you back, some of them were friends, some even our family, and we murdered all of them, we murdered your family. For that we cannot apologize, we can only ask that you find it in your heart to spare our little ponies, and so", she and Luna each took a knee offering their necks to the draconequus, "we offer you our lives". Six and the girls, having recovered, all had looks of astonishment on their faces, her were two goddesses, offering to die in atonement for their crime and leave the country to their Niece and Nephew, so that their subjects will live in harmony.

Discord took a step forward as if to attack, but instead dropped to his knees and hugged them, starting to cry himself. "You only needed to apologize", he said, "I'm the one that taught you that sometimes the best choice, isn't always the right one, and you two made the best choice", and so the three of them sat there crying and apologizing in each others arms. Eventually they split apart and, with Six, departed to Canterlot, not before Discord fixed the town, to have a much needed discussion, which Six had already decided he would not be a part of.

Eldritch translation via https://lingojam.com/RLyehian. also for those who don't understand why a bloodthirsty Discord would choose Gwardar snakes and Cone snails, the Cone snail has a prehensile tong with a barb inside, the barb can come out of the tong to its max length in around 1/2000 of a millisecond upon stabbing something the barb releases a Neurotoxin which upon entering the bloodstream, splits into several sub venoms each targeting and shutting down a specific organ, there is no antidote but you can survive if you are put on advanced life support, that was only recently developed around 2005, within 5 minutes, if not you WILL die within the hour and that is a certainty. The Gwardar snake is less scary but just as lethal, upon injection it begins telling your brain that your blood is clotting even though your blood is fine, to combat the "clotting" your brain begins thinning your blood, this continues to the point that you bleed to death from every single hole in your body within minutes, we are talking anus, urethra, mouth, eyes, ears, nose, nails, pores, and vagina if you have one. There is an antidote but it must be administered alongside a blood transfusion, and just like the cone snail life support, if said treatment is not administered within minutes it is too late and you WILL die shortly. These exist in real life by the way, they are not just a Lovecraftian fever dream, they are both native to Australia, home to nearly ALL of natures poison death monsters.
