It was the second day in Ponyville since the main six have been changed. Down in Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack was bucking the apple trees in the orchard, enjoying her new look. Up on a cloud, however, Rainbow was watching her, a dreamy smile on her muzzle. 'Wow she looks hot!', she thought, then blushed at the thought. 'Ok, I don't know where THAT thought came from, but that was weird.'
She looked back down at AJ, watching her strong hind quarters buck the base of the tree and making the apples fall into the buckets.

Rainbow sighed, 'But it's true. It's like she was born from heaven!'

"Howdy, RD! Uh, ya need somethin' sugarcube?", Applejack said, looking up at the pegasus. Dash snapped back to reality and blushed. 'Just play it cool Dash, play it cool.'

"Hey, Applejack! I just thought I come over and watch- I mean hang out with you today! See what new stuff we can do with our other forms!" Rainbow studdered on the first sentence, and mentally facehoofed herself. 'Way to play it cool, Dash...'

"Hmm, actually, that's not a bad idea Rainbow. Sure, why not! Ah could use the break.", she said, stretching her furry limbs. Rainbow's magenta eyes sparkled with excitement, then glided down to her. AJ thought for a minute, "How 'bout a race?"

"Hehe, ok then...", RD said as she stretched her wings wide.

"No wings though." Dash whined in protest,"Aw come on AJ! I wanted to-"

"Either no wings, or no race, Dash. Y'know how Ah feel about cheatin'." Applejack gave a firm, but competitive look to her feathered friend, who in return, blushed and sighed. "Fine...", she said and shook her ruffed up, multicolored mane.

They trotted all the way to White Tailed Woods, seeing that that was a good place to race. On the way there, Dash would glance at Applejack, who in return wood do the same. She smiled bashfully, in which AJ would smile warmly with her pretty, new country formed face. This made Rainbow blush and Applejack would just chuckle. When they finally got there, they looked down the path they ran for the Running of the Leaves.

"Might as well quit AJ, I don't want to embarrass you after I win...", Dash said, puffing her chest out.

"Then ya might wanna start runnin', sugarcube!", she called back to her, already getting a head start. RD snapped her eyes open then shouted,"Hey! Get back here, cheater!" She ran after the earth pony, catching up to her and running beside her. They both laughed as they raced each other. Rainbow looked at Applejack with a playful grin, but it feel as soon as she looked at her. Her golden coat and straw colored mane and tail were flowing in the wind, so were her furry hooves. The light was at that perfect angle to make her look like she was glowing! 'Whoa...", RD thought, staring with wide eyes and a little blush on her cheeks.

While she was staring however, she didn't notice the rock coming up infront of her. With a loud yelp, she tripped and fell, grabbing onto AJ's flank and taking her down with her. They rolled down hill until Rainbow and Applejack stopped and landed with a loud 'omf!' RD groaned as she opened her eyes slowly. 'Why do I taste... apples?', she asked herself, but as the dust cleared, she soon got her answer. Her eyes widen as she saw she had made lip contact with AJ! Applejack was looking at her friend with the same emotion.

Rainbow pulled back with a light whimper of embarrassment, getting up with her face redder than AJ's barn. Applejack was still in the same state. 'Aww shoot! Tell me we just didn't do what Ah think we did?!', Applejack thought, her face equally red as that of Dash's.

"Uh... I gotta go, bye!", and with that, Rainbow took off into the skies, leaving a rainbow trail behind her. AJ just sat there on her hind quarters, staring at where Dash had flew off.

"You blew it, Dash! YOU BLEW IT!", RD said in her cloud home, flailing her horse-like forlegs while she laid on her back on her cloud bed, "She probably hates me now after that accident!"
Tank, her pet tortoise, just stared at her with a blank look. "What am I gonna do, Tank! She's probably never gonna talk to me again!" Tank just nudged her with his nose and gave her a warm, slow smile.

She sighed, "You're probably right, buddy. Maybe she'd just might apologize and blow it off like wter over the bridge. Maybe she even... no, she wouldn't have liked it! She's straight for crying out loud! What the buck is wrong with me lately?! ARGH!", she buried her face into her cloud pillow, groaning in frustration. She lifted her head and looked out the window towards Ponyville, towards Sweet Apple Acres.

'What if... she did like it? What if she's looking for me?', she thought and looked at the apple trees. She sighed once more and looked at Tank, "I'm gonna go apologize to her. It's the least I could do after everything that happened today." He nodded in agreement with her. With that, she took off out the window, ignoring the fact she could've used the door, and headed towards the orchard. Towards her...

'Oh Dash, why did ya fly away like that?', Applejack wondered, looking out the window of her bedroom and watching the sun fall below the horizon, the sunset giving a touching glow of orange and yellow.

'Ah wonder if she's feelin' the same as me right now. Boy, did RD have a run fer her bits after Twi gave us them new forms and saw me!', she laughed at the thought and remembered how Dash looked, 'Those feathers of hers were pretty amazin'. And her eyes...', she sighed as she remembered how beautiful those magenta orbs looked.

As she thought to herself, she suddenly heard a loud voice from afar, "Look out below!" AJ looked up just in time to see a rainbow blur come through the window and crash into her, knocking her to the wooden floor. She opened her eyes, seeing Dash laying on top of her.

"What in tarnation, Dash?! Ya almost gave me a heart attack!", Applejack said, looking at her magenta eyes with her own. Rainbow blushed and got up, "Hehe, sorry AJ. Here, let me help you." Rainbow extended a hoof and Applejack grabbed it with her own, pulling herself up. When they were both up, they stared into each others eyes, mesmerized by their eye colors. RD blinked when she realized she was staring and said, "Um... AJ, I came to apologize, for what happened today. I wasn't paying attention and I-", but she was cut off by Applejack's sweet lips. She stiffened for a second, but melted in pure bliss.

AJ had to lean down to kiss Rainbow because of her form, but she didn't mind. She was in pure extasy and she didn't want it to end, but all good things have to come to an end at some point. They pulled away, a faint blush on each of their cheeks.

"I- I... didn't know you felt the same way?!", Dash said, surprised out of her wits.

"Well, Ah didn't until the accident we had today. Ya gave me quite a surprise if ya ask me.", said AJ, rubbing a furry hoof behind her head.

"Then i'm glad we had that race today, and that stupid rock.", Dash muttered the last sentence, making Applejack perk her ears.

"So it was a rock that tripped ya? Huh, thought you'd pay more attention to the path there.", Applejack chuckled, making Rainbow flush, "Don't worry 'bout it. Ah fergive ya... Dashie." She said Dash's pet name in an alluring voice, which made Rainbow's multicolored tipped, feathered wings flare out with a 'Pomf'. AJ chuckled, "Ah'll see ya tomorrow, Rainbow. Ah gotta do the rest of the inside chores for the day." With that, Applejack walked out of the room, leaving Rainbow Dash with her baffled, blushed face and flared wings to deal with for the night.
