Rarity opened the door to Twilight's castle and headed down the hall, towards the library. When she got there, Twilight was reading the transformation spell book. She smiled as she stared at her, 'Oh how I love those wings! And her mane and tail, absolutely gorgeous!' She knocked on the door.

"May I come in, darling?", she asked her.

"Hmm? Oh, Rarity! Yes, of course! What brings you here?"

"Well, I have some old books I wanted to bring for your library, so I thought I'd drop by and give them to you.", Rarity said, taking three books out of her saddlebag with her magic. Twilight's eyes lit up with excitement, "Oh, thank you Rarity! I'll certainly be reading these!" Twilight then put them on her crystal desk with other books that she hasn't read yet. She nodded with a satisfied look.

"You're very welcome, Twilight. It's the least I could do after you gave us our magnificent transformations!", she said while looking at herself in a mirror that was on the wall. Twilight blushed, looking at the beautiful unicorn with a grin, "Well I'm flattered you like them, Rarity. Although, tomorrow is the last day for us to be in these forms, as I remembered saying those words."

Rarity frowned, "Yes, I know but, I really LOVE this look! Especially yours, darling." Twilight's face flushed red and she rubbed her forleg with a hoof.

"Gosh Rarity, thank you. Thought, I think I'd prefer you as more amazing than me.", Twilight said as she looked towards the unicorn with a warm smile. Rarity's cheeks turned scarlet at hearing those thoughtful words, "R-really, Twilight?" Twi nodded with an agreeing look. Rarity wiped away a tear from her eye, then ran over to Twilight and hugged her.

"Those, are THE nicest things that anypony has said to me before! Thank you Twilight, darling!" The sudden hug surprised Twi for a bit, but soon returned the embrace, a tinge of scarlet on her cheeks, "It's no problem Rarity, really."

Rarity soon broke from the hug and blushed slightly. 'Maybe she's something... more, than a friend.', Rarity thought.

"Um, Twilight, darling."

"Yes Rarity?", Twilight turned back around from going back to her desk, "Is there something else?"

"Yes, well, you see... would you, care to join me for dinner tonight?" Twilight's eyes certainly 'sparkled' at this, "Oh, why sure! It'd be my pleasure to join you for dinner! I'll meet you back at your place say, 8 o'clock?" Rarity nodded, then waved good-bye to her, "See you at 8 o'clock, darling!", and with that, Rarity left the castle with a squeal of delight, and hurried to get ready.

Later, Twilight came by Carousel Boutique with a gorgeous dress that matched her form perfectly, and made Rarity's jaw drop. As well did Twilight when she saw her in her new dress she made for the evening. After that, they went to the 'Golden Mane Restaurant' to have dinner. When they got there, they were shocked at how beautiful the place was, so did the other ponies at seeing them. Everypony had stared at their looks, amazed at how magnificent they looked in their forms, and dresses.

They ordered their food and drinks, then had a little chat to pass the time. When the food was ready, they couldn't have been more satisfied with it than themselves. The two walked out of the restaurant and paid, leaving with full stomachs.

"Now that, was delicious!", Twi said, letting out a sigh of relief.

"I couldn't have agreed with you more, darling. They really out did themselves today." They both giggled, then looked out into the night sky, breathing in the fresh air.

"Thanks for taking me to dinner, Rarity. I had fun.", Twilight smiled as she looked at the unicorn.

"Oh, no trouble at all. I had fun as well.", she gave Twilight a loving smile and blushed. She walked with Twi to her castle and said good-bye, but she called back to Twilight before the castle doors shut closed, "Twilight, dear! Wait just a moment!"

"What is it Rarity? You forget something?", she asked. Before Twi had anything else to say, Rarity kissed her gently on the cheek. Twilight's face blushed red and her wings flared out. Rarity giggled and trotted off, waving good-bye once more, leaving Twilight with a bewildered expression.
