"Uhh..my head" groaned Rainbowdash as she sat upright in her bed rubbing her forehead.

As Rainbow rubbed her head, her vision reuturned to normal and the pain slowly started to go away. As Rainbow looked around the room she noticed herself in a white bed, with white blankets. As she continued to look around the room had 4 beds, two were unoccupied and the one next to her was occupied by a sleeping lavender pony. Rainbow looked at herself and found her right leg completely covered in bandages and her right wing was suspended in the air by a canvas. As she looked at the rest of her body, she found bruises and minor cuts on her left leg and chest, her rear legs worked fine and she could still blink and move her head properly. As she looked at the lavender pony next to her, realisation hit her as she was in a hospital and the pony next to her was Twilight.

"Twilight? Psst.... You awake?" whispered Rainbowdash, trying not to disturb anyone else outside.

As the purple Alicorn didn't move Rainbowdash assumed she was in deep sleep and bothered not to disturb her. As Rainbow kept searching for clues on how she got the bandages on her right leg she kept thinking back to last thing she saw.

"All I remember was that I was in the forest with Twilight, Rarity and Fluttershy. But what were we doing there?" thought Rainbow as a frown formed on her face as she couldn't recall the events that happened.

Just then a very happy nurse Redheart came into the room wheeling in a cart with trays on top. She was surprised when she saw that Rainbowdash was awake.

"Hello Miss Dash, how are you?" began Nurse Redheart as she stopped the cart in front of her bed and walked up to her.

"I'm fine Nurse, just a bit dizzy thats all" replied Rainbow.

"Oh thank Celestia your all right! I thought you were never going to wake up" came Nurse Redheart.

"Wait?....What do you mean never wake up?" demanded Rainbow as she looked at Redheart with a serious look.

"Oh I forgot to tell you" said Redheart.

"How long was I out Nurse? Tell me, How long?" said Rainbowdash with a deadpanned look.

"You have been out for 4 days now, when you first came in, we thought you weren't going to make it. The amount of blood you lost was so high, you would be considered dead. And the injuries that your right leg sustained was almost near impossible to fix. But after some extreme magic and good old medicine we managed to fill you up with blood and fixed whatever was left of your leg" said Redheart informatively.

"4 days....4 days....I have been out for 4 days? How could this be? What in Equestria happened to me?" thought Rainbow as she looked at the blanket in a shocked expression. She soon snapped out of her state when she heard a yawn come from the next bed. Immediately turning her head, she saw Twilight sitting up right and rubbing her eyes with a disheveled mane and messy fur.

Twilight couldn't believe her eyes when she looked to her right as she saw one of her closest friends staring at her. She expected to see Rainbow in the same position but here she was looking right at her.

"Rainbow? Is that you?" said Twilight in a shocked voice.

"Well duh...Of course its me. Im the fastest flyer in Equestria after all" replied Rainbow who then crossed her arms angrily at Twilight.

"Oh just making sure" began Twilight as she moved off the bed and wrapped her in one big hug,"I missed you, its been quiet without you around"

"Heh, well I'm back and soon Ill be as good as new"

"Well before you can do any major flying, you'll have to give that wing another days rest before you can leave" said nurse Redheart from the other side of the room.

"Can't I just walk?" asked Rainbow.

"Unless you want your wounds to break open, then sure, go ahead. The magic still hasn't taken full affect yet and it its still barely even half way" replied nurse Redheart.

"And how long do I have to wait to till I can fully walk again?" Asked Rainbow again

"Give yourself another 3 more days then, and if the healing rate is statisfactional then you may leave" said nurse Redheart.

"Uhhh guess ill be stuck in here for awhile" whined Rainbow as she laid back down on the bed.

"Its not that bad, besides Ill bring the girls over later and we can all talk through the night" beamed Twilight.

"Eh it might work, considering if I don't fall asleep that is" said Rainbow before stifling a laugh.

"Well we'll see, anyway see you late dash" said Twilight before leaving the room, which was then followed by silence.

"Well I must be getting back to my shift," said nurse Redheart as she walked towards the door,"and Ill notify the doctor in charge that your awake,he'll be glad to you up and about"

"Ok nurse" replied Rainbow as she waved goodbye to her as the door closed.

For the rest of the morning and afternoon all Rainbow did was sleep or just stare at the ceiling and imagine herself in situations that would never happen. The doctor would visit her every now and then to check on her wounds, especially her right leg. Rainbow cursed herself as she forgot to ask Twilight how all off this happened. As Rainbow kept asking nurse Redheart and doctor questions about her wounds, they would only tell her how she arrived in her battered state since they didn't even know what happened to her.

"Oh great, tomorrow is gonna be the same experience" grumbled Rainbow as she looked out the window at the setting sun.

Just when things started to become peaceful, the door to Rainbows room burst open as 4 ponies came charging at her and skidded to a halt in front of her. Rainbow, who was surprised by this sort of thing, raised her hoofs and shielded her face from the oncoming invaders. When she felt nothing happen to her, she removed her hoofs and to her surprise, found four familiar faces staring at her with smiles of joy on their faces.

"How ya doin partner?" asked Applejack, who was the closest friend of Rainbowdash.

"Never been better Aj" replied Rainbow as they both hugged. As soon as they broke the hug, Rainbow was overcome by a pink mare who seemed to choke the living daylights out of her.

"Ok.....pinkie....I....can't....breath...*gasp..." gasped Rainbow as she gasped for air,"jeez Pinkie, try not to kill me next time"

"Oh silly Rainbow, its been quiet ever since you were admitted to the hospital. And since your the weather captain, who is in charge of the weather team when their captain isn't around?" asked Pinkie.

"Ummm....no one?" replied Dash

"Exactly! The weather has been in bad shape and my parties are affected by it. About time to returned to action" beamed Pinkie.

"In a few more days Pinkie, a few more days" said Rainbow.

"I'm glad your safe Rainbow, me and the critters have been taking care of tank for you while you were in the hospital" said Fluttershy in her shy voice.

"Thanks Flutters, appreciate it" said Rainbow.

"Well darling I must say, chasing after you was a hassle, eapecially for my mane and fur. But Ill do anything for my friend, even if it means messing up my style" said Rarity as she made her way to the foot of the bed.

"Well, thank you Rares, for risking yourself to save me" said Rainbow.

"Oh don't thank me dear, you should thank Twilight. After all she was the one that teleported us out of that horrid place" began Rarity as she flinched at the memory of the everfree forest.

"Well I passed out shortly after, even though I walked perfectly fine when we got here" said a familiar voice from the door.

All heads turned and standing at the doorway was none other than Princess Twilight Sparkle carrying what seemed to be books.

"Hey Twilight!" exclaimed Rainbow from the other side of the room even though they were 9ft apart.

"I brought books so you would pass the time tomorrow" said Twilight as she placed the bag next to Rainbows bed.

"Finally at least something I could dwell on tomorrow" replied Rainbow.

"So then, mind tellin us what sorta injury ya got there?" asked Applejack who was pointing her hoof at Rainbows right leg.

"That reminds me Twi" began Rainbow as she looked at her egg head friend,"how did I get these anyway? I don't remember getting them"

"You mean you don't remember?" asked Twilight.

"Yep" replied Rainbow.

"Do you really want to hear it?" asked Twilight cautiously.

"Go ahead, I think we all want to hear it" said Rainbow as she looked around her friends who nodded.

"Well guess Ill have to tell it then, but I can only recall what I saw" said Twilight.

"Ok so here...." began Twilight as the story went on and on through the night as she didn't leave out any detail and explained the events that happened in briefly.

"Wow...never ah never thought she would be beaten up that badly" said Applejack who broke the silence and looked at Rainbow, who was still processing what happened.

"Speaking of those things, I wonder where they are right now?" asked Rarity as she looked outside the window into the night sky.

Meanwhile in the middle of a grassy and mountainous terrain, the London Monitor was busy climbing up the steep slope in quick succession. As the Monitor reached the top, it brought the rest of itself up and scanned the remaining path left until its destination. It had been 5 hours of crossing the desert and grassy terrain and now it changed to mountains. As the Monitor began moving forward again it scanned paths that would lead into the city that were big enough for it. As the monitor came around the Mountain it could finally see the castle. The castle seemed to be suspended on the side of the mountain and had a waterfall on the side of it. There was castle deep within the complex city. The city itself was actually bigger up close, and there were many levels of entry. The only difference now was that the castle was covered with a pink shield. As the Monitor observed the shield, it compared that to its own and found that the shield protecting this city was fairly weak to its standards.

As the Monitor scanned for a way in, it saw what seems to be train tracks that lead to the place. As the Monitor began climbing again, it detected that its commander was awake.

"Good morning sir" it began.

"Oh *yawn Good morning Herr Monitor" replied Kessler as he rubbed his eyes sheepishly.

"We are close to our destination sir" it said.

Upon hearing that immediately, Kessler shot upright and looked at the screens. Sure enough there was a castle alright and they were heading right for it.

"Crap! I haven't even showered yet!" exclaimed Kessler as he removed his coat.

"No need sir" it said, as a silver tube popped up on the table end.

It read"Auto space cleansing shower, for the use of space necessities"

"What is this?" asked Kessler as he finished reading the bottle.

"It is a special type of spray that cleans your body and freshens up your clothes, its equivalent to taking a shower and having clean clothes daily" it said.

"So how do I use it?" asked Kessler.

"Press the button at the top like a normal spray and spray it all over your body, including your hair" it said.

"Maybe next time Ill use it, do you have a shower?" asked Kessler curiously.

"The decontamination room serves as a multipurpose bathroom, please step inside" it began.

As Kessler opened the door to the control room and exited he opened a door to the left just outside the control room, and sure enough there was a shower and even a toilet.

"Great, guess Ill make my self comfortable" he said as he closed the door and did his business.

After 40 minutes, Kessler came out of the shower area and entered the command room. He went over to the weapons locker and opened the extra locker next to it. Inside was a fresh pair of uniforms and two standard officers trench coat. As Kessler put on his new clothes he asked the Monitor where to dump his dirty ones.

"Where shall I put this?" he asked.

"In the chute, I shall take care of the rest" it replied.

As Kessler dumped the clothes in the chute the went and collected his silenced pistol that was lying on the table with 5 clips lying next to it. As Kessler began mounting the clips onto his belt, he holstered the pistol to his quick draw pouch allowing him to draw quicker. As Kessler went back to the locker, he swung it open and found a modified assault rifle 1960 with rocket launcher upgrade. A shotgun with its standard buck and ricocheting ammo. There was and AR marksman rifle with the plasma rounds, only it was heavily modified as the battery last longer than the regular ones, there was grenades and a tons of ammunition for the weapons inside that locker. Not that Kessler had to worry since there was another locker full of ammunition. As Kessler picked the assault rifle, he grabbed 4 mags and placed them on the small side table. He loaded one mag in and put the rest on his ammo belt.

"Well thats defense done" he said.

As Kessler returned his attention back to the screen, he noticed the footsteps of the Monitor had stopped.

"Monitor why have we stopped?" asked Kessler.

"We are here already, Leutenant" it replied.

"So have we made contact yet?" he asked.

"I think were about to find out" it said.

Normally Shining Armor would be over looking battle plans and planning troop movements. But what do you do when a giant behemoth comes knocking on your door one fine morning while your busy sipping tea? Of course you panic like shit. But for the two sisters, their protection came first as they were royalty. As Shining casted a Shield over Canterlot in hopes of stopping the giant. He quickly raised all the alarms in the garrison and prepped them for battle. Thinking it was some sort of Griffon machine, all the soldiers armed themselves with crossbows and bow and arrows. As the soldiers got a good look at the giant, they literally shat their pants at its sight for it was huge. If they mean huge it was huge! As the machine got closer, the ground shook beneath its mighty steps. The Wonderbolts and the Royal Pegasi Air Force encircled the giant and set up positions to flank it.

As the thing got closer and closer, it started climbing the Mountain side with ease and within minutes it was already at one of the train entry points. As the giant came to a full rest, Shining Armor could only gulp as the giant stared in one direction bit felt like it was watching them all. In one brave notion Shining Armor stepped forward and cleared his throat.

"YOU HAVE 10 SECONDS TO SURRENDER AND COME QUIETLY! IF YOU RESIST YOU WILL BE DEALT UPON BY DEADLY FORCE!" he yelled hoping that it would hear him at least.

"Did you get that sir?" The Monitor asked.

"Yep, loud and fucking clear" Kessler replied.

"What now?" The Monitor asked.

"Hmmm I don't intent to lay down arms since I am in a hostile territory, so these ponies can go fuck themselves for all I care" Kessler said.

"He started counting down sir" said The Monitor.

"Guess it time for something crazy" said Kessler as a plan formed in his head.

"NOW"

"YOU HAVE NOT COMPLIED, YOUR ARE NOW DECLARED AS A HOSTILE, LEAVE NOW" yelled Shining as he continued to stare at the machine. Then to his utter horror the machine moved forward and started walking towards the castle. He quickly ordered his men to clear the civilians out and told the remaining forces to follow that machine. As it stopped outside the palace doors, It adjusted itself and stopped in place as it resumed staring at the door.

Then the doors flung open and the two princesses stood proud and tall, but something was odd about the princess of the sun for her mane was fiery red and glowed like the sun and her horn was charging up a great energy ball.

"This should be fun" the Monitor thought as it watched the energy rise in the ball. It though off countless things it could use with that energy or test its armor against it.

After what seemed like minutes Princess Celestia spoke in her royal Canterlot voice.

"Begone Demon!" and fired her energy blast at the thing. From there on out all hell broke loose.
