Setup and turns one through four
“Growerland?”
“Found it in a thrift store.”
Cadance raised an eyebrow. “Really. The Crystal Prince went to a thrift store and bought himself a board game.”
“And what's wrong with that?" Shining Armour harumphed, crossing his arms indignantly. "I happen to find that thrift stores can have a lot of really interesting things in them if you're willing to look.”
“You are such a dad.” Cadance chuckled teasingly. “And not even a cool dad. You're the nerdy dad that forces the whole family to play a hipster board game he found in a thrift store that he doesn't actually understand the rules for.”
“Well, you don't need to worry about that. Flurry Heart's way too young to be playing board games.”
“Oh, all my concerns have suddenly flown out of the window.”
“And what's wrong with that, anyway? My dad did the exact same thing all the time!”
“Yes, I was there for one. He forced the whole family to play a hipster board game he found in a thrift store that he didn't actually understand the rules for. It was a nightmare.” Cadance lightly punched her husband in the arm. “C'mon, let's set up the game.”
The box was coated in a layer of dust that had reached the level of thickness where no amount of dusting could completely remove it. The cover was muddy and faded, even ignoring the dust, though Cadance could mostly make it out. There was a cutesy stylized logo written in rainbow coloured bubble letters across the top, below which was a faded image of a real family playing the game. They didn't look like they were having a particularly good time, but it was hard to tell because the image was so badly faded. All Cadance knew for sure was that their fashion sense was at least 40 years out of date. The game board itself was much more simple, and in much better condition. There was the name of the game in flowery cursive, some random shapes, and a lot of blue bordered by off-white squares. No actual markings on the squares, either, besides a vague symbol indicating which one was the “first” square – and even that was off to the side, a yellow quarter circle bordered by pink.
“So, wait, what are the rules, then?”
“It's pretty basic,” Shining said, pointedly not answering the question. He pulled out some vague lumps of plastic and placed them in the starting square. “These are the pieces. I can be blue, you can be pink?”
Cadance raised an eyebrow. The pieces were both the same shape – cylindrical pillars of cheap plastic, tapering near the top and finishing off with another, smaller cylinder and a dome. Like larger versions of the little pegs from The Game of Life. Shining's was blue, while Cadance's was multicoloured – purple at the bottom and pink on top, separated by a band of gold. “What if I want to be blue?”
“I get to be blue.”
“Fine, fine. So, the pieces start there?”
“Yep.” Shining placed a thick deck of nondescript white cards in the centre of the board. “Roll a d6, move that number of spaces, draw a card and do what it says on it. First person to make it all the way around the board a certain number of times wins.”
“Just call it a dice, dear, no one cares how many sides it has.”
Shining glowered. “It's important, darnit.”
“Yes, dear.” Cadance pulled out a chair and sat down. She stretched, the sleeves of her loose-fitting pink tee shirt sliding down to rest against her shoulders as she hefted her arms above her head. “So, do you want to start or should I?”
“We roll the die and whoever gets the bigger number goes first.”
“Honey. Do you want to start, or should I?”
“... You can start,” Shining muttered sullenly.
“There. Was that so hard?”
“'s important, darnit.” He placed the die on the table – with more force than was really necessary – and Cadance took it, a playful smirk on her face.
She gave the dice a shake before tossing it gently onto the table. “Three! That's a good start I guess. How many goes around the board do we do?”
“Depends on how long we want the game to go for, according to the rules. I figure we can wing it, keep going until we get bored.”
“So you get all sullen about dice terminology but when it comes to the win condition we can just wing it?” Shining rolled his eyes, and Cadance chuckled as she moved her piece. “And then I draw a card~”
She reached down to the deck, gingerly slipping the top card from the pile and holding it up. “'Try a new perspective – gain six inches in height'?” She had been expecting something along the lines of 'go forward six spaces' or 'go back three spaces' or 'skip a turn', but clearly there was more to the game than Shining had told her. She couldn't help but smile – she'd clearly underestimated her husband. Perhaps this would be interesting after all. “So how does that work? Do I put something on my game piece or-”
There was a tight warmth in her chest, that slowly spread out into her arms and legs. Her skin tingled, and the hairs on her arms stood on end. “That's- Oh?”
Cadance was a part of Princess Celestia's bloodline, and had inherited numerous things from her aunt. But she'd never come anywhere near to her – compared to most women, her breasts were large, her hips wide, her ass full and her height well above average. But she was only above average, leaving her exactly two inches shorter than Shining. Just tall enough to be able to look her husband in the eye.
That changed as, with a quiet, rubbery noise, Cadance grew. The sleeves of her shirt were ever so slightly tighter, and her casual shorts dug ever so slightly into her thighs several inches higher than they had reached not a minute ago. “Oh. Oh, this is that kind of game. Okay then.”
“What kind of game?” Shining replied, smiling innocently.
“Don't get cute with me, sugar.” Cadance's earlier smile had morphed into a mildly disapproving frown. “If you wanted to do size play stuff, you could have just asked.” She glared – the fact that she had to look down slightly to do so was mildly disorienting.
“What are you talking about? Growerland is one hundred percent family friendly.”
“Yeah, sure, I see that tent in your shorts, babe.” She crossed her arms under her chest. “Look, I know, things have gotten kinda boring since Flurry was born, but you coulda just talked to me about it. I can be the big scary dragon and you can be the brave, heroic knight come to reclaim the king's treasure by impaling me with your spear. Or however that went. The point is that I'd kinda prefer you ask first.”
Shining raised his hands defensively. “Hey, I thought you knew what you were getting into. I mean, the game's literally called Growerland, honey.”
Cadance shrank into her seat sheepishly, eliciting a pained groan from the overburdened furniture. “Probably should have raised some red flags, yeah.”
“You wanna stop?”
“No, no, it's fine.” She smiled. “I like this. It's a bit more fair than the usual Cadance Grows Enormous And Dominates Her Husband roleplays we do.”
“I figured you'd think that.” Shining rolled the dice. "Two. Darn."
"I'm wiiiiininggggg~" Cadance sang.
"Hmph. Plenty of time for that to change." He moved his piece and drew his card. "'Bad luck! Skip next turn.' Huh. Well, I guess they can't all be fun."
"Plenty of time for that to change, eh?"
"Har. Your turn, honey."
Cadance rolled, grinning at the result; "Six! You're gonna have to get really lucky to catch up, babe." She smugly slid her piece further along the board, drawing a card. “'Donate to the community chest – gain a cup size every turn for five turns.' Ugh, that is such a tortured pun.” Shining didn't respond, content to grin like an idiot and stare exactly where Cadance would expect him to stare in anticipation. “I wish you'd at least warned me not to wear a bra.”
“That'd have spoiled the surprise though!”
“Gnnn, fine,” Cadance grunted as she felt a pleasant tingling blossoming in her chest. “But you're replacing any ruined clothing.”
Cadance made a point of keeping her hands off her chest as it grew. It was, after all, only the second turn. As good as it felt, she didn't want to escalate things too quickly. Still, it felt really good. Like a thousand little fingers gingerly dancing over the surface of her breasts, accompanied by a fullness that became a tightness as the soft, rubbery sounds of growth returned. All told, it probably lasted less than a minute, but it felt like it was much longer. It didn't help that the growth stopped very abruptly, all of the good tingling feelings vanishing and the uncomfortable tightness of a bra a size too small flooding in to fill the sensational void. “I guess that makes me an F cup now?”
“To be honest, I don't really see much difference,” Shining said, doing an admirable job of hiding his disappointment.
“Yeah, well, give it a few more turns.” Cadance fiddled with the straps of her bra as they dug uncomfortably into her shoulders. “Do you think that this counts as one of the five turns or not?”
Shining shrugged. “I know about as much as you do, honey. But, knowing the kinda game this is, I'm gonna guess probably not?”
“Ugh.”
“Your turn again.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Cadance muttered as she picked up the dice and sullenly rolled it. “Three. Well, there goes my commanding lead.”
“You've still got, like, ten spaces on me. Plus you're already a third of the way to your first lap.”
“Bah, where's the fun in winning if you're not winning super hard,” Cadance muttered as she drew her card. “'Remember to keep things family friendly! Until you draw a card that says otherwise or the game ends, your clothing will fit you perfectly.' Huh, not the kinda thing I was expecting to draw.”
“Toldja Growerland is one hundred percent family friendly.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Cadance said with a relieved sigh. She could feel her bra slowly relinquishing its slightly-too-tight grip on her shoulders and chest. “At least I don't have to worry about wrecking any clothing anymore I guess.” She moved to discard the card, but paused. “Wait, hold on, there's more text.”
“Really? Lemme see.”
Cadance handed the card to Shining. “I'm pretty sure that it wasn't there before.”
“Mmm. Historically, enchanted board games do tend to have a sense of humour about that kinda thing.” Shining held the card up, looking it over closely. “Yeah, there's some text you didn't read out here. 'Why not give your clothing's new found stretchiness a bit of a test? Gain two feet of height.'”
“Ugh, I knew this card was too good to be true,” Cadance muttered as she started to grow again. First came the tingling, then the fullness that became a tightness, then the noise. Deep, rubbery and loud, louder than the last two times she grew. “Oh fuck,” she muttered, squirming in her chair as her body expanded agonizingly slowly.
“This is only, what, the third turn? 's a bit early for that, don't you think?”
Cadance tried to stifle a moan, failing miserably as last turn's card kicked in and her breasts lurched up a cup size. “Mnnn, not the tiiiime, honey,” she managed to force out. He did have a point, she wouldn't deny that. But growing just felt so good. It always did, of course. She'd always loved that feeling of fullness that came with it, of stretching more and more as her body expanded. Waves of pleasure cascaded through her body, building and building in intensity with every agonizing inch. It certainly helped that she'd always been something of the runt of the litter. A good two inches shorter than her husband and almost a full foot shorter than her aunt. And, though she tried not to let it show, she was a little jealous.Growing appealed to that deep, primal side of her that wished she could be the biggest. She'd spent a long time getting very good at growth magic, but this was different. She wasn't in control of this. It was just happening, with no input on her part. And, frankly, that made it feel even better. Perhaps because she couldn't see it coming – like the difference between masturbation and someone else playing with her bits. Or maybe she just had a thing for not being the one in control, either or.
Cadence's musing and mounting arousal alike were interrupted by her chair giving out underneath her. It wasn't a particularly nice chair, just whatever had been available in what Shining had dubbed the game room. It had barely been enough to handle her weight at six foot four, and these two extra feet had proven to be more than it could handle. She dropped to the ground with a thud that was much louder than it would have been a few minutes ago. “Ow.”
“You okay, babe?”
“Yeah, I'm fine, just... probably shoulda seen that one coming, really.” She pulled herself up, being careful not to disturb the table. “We're gonna hafta replace this chair...”
“It's just a chair, we've prolly got room in the budget for some new chairs anyway.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Cadance muttered as she stared forlornly down at the remains of her chair. As much as she liked growing, and even as much as she liked outgrowing furniture, there was something about this specific situation that just got to her. She was, she supposed, a girly-girl at heart. And there was something primally upsetting to her girly-girl nature about being so fat her chair broke. Which of course was a gross oversimplification of exactly what had happened, but there was still an instinctual revulsion from breaking furniture in this specific manner. She sighed, and set aside her discomfort for the moment. This was, for the most part, entirely her bag. She was staunchly determined to enjoy herself.
Her hands were enveloped in a pale blue glow and, with a wave, the remains of her chair vanished. “There, that's that dealt with.” She sat down on the ground cross-legged. “Now, I believe it's your turn?”
“That it is!” Shining replied with a smile on his face. “And hey, this time I actually get to go!” He picked up the dice and rolled, and his smile immediately vanished. “Oh, come on, a one? Really?”
“I'm stiiiiill wiiiiininggggg~” Cadance sang, revelling in the opportunity to be a sore winner.
“Yeah, yeah, just you wait. I'm definitely gonna turn this around.”
“I'd like to see you try and do that without cheating, hon. Cursed board games are notoriously pissy about that.”
Shining rolled his eyes and moved his piece one space forward, and then drew his card. “'The game's no fun if it's one-sided. Get an extra turn to catch up!' Ha! You were saying?”
“Hmph. I guess it doesn't like being called pissy, then.”
“Well, I rolled a three anyway so it doesn't really make much of a difference. '“When it rains, it pours” - repeat another player's effect from their last turn.' Ooh!”
“Oh.” Cadence could feel the sensation of growth swelling up inside of her once more, and her body lurched outward in one fell swoop. Not to be left behind, her breasts decided to repeat their growth as well at the same time – colliding with the table and knocking both pieces and all of the cards over in the process. She sighed, too distracted by the mess to really enjoy the sensations this time around. “That card is waaaaay too strong. We ought to junk it.”
“I dunno, I think you're just in a bad position.”
“And what's that supposed to mean.”
“Well, uh, I mean – maybe try lying down?”
“... Yeah. Fine.”
“If you get too much bigger we can move the board onto the floor.” Shining conjured a magenta aura of magic around his hands, and the board reset itself to what it was before Cadence's inconvenient growth spurt.
“Do you think that counted to the cup size counter?” Cadance asked as she carefully stood up again.
“Probably not. Why, don't you like bein' an H cup?”
“Honestly at this point there's not much point in bothering with cup sizes.”
“I'll be the one to make that call, dear.”
Cadence rolled her eyes and laid down on her belly, being cautious to not jostle the table again. “Anyway, it's my turn. Maybe this time something'll happen to you for once. Ah, two, crap.”
“Man, we're really rolling kinda low. Maybe next time we can use two dice instead of one, see if that makes things go quicker.”
Cadence nodded and drew a card. “'Nice try. Grow an extra foot.' Well, fine, but it's gonna get boring eventually if I keep growing and nothing happens to Shiny.” Even as she spoke, her body slowly inched bigger. Her past few growth spurts had been somewhat distracting, so she hadn't been able to properly enjoy them. This time, she was a bit annoyed with the game and had resolved not to enjoy herself out of spite. But once she hit eleven feet and her breasts began to go from H to I, she couldn't help but bite her lower lip ever so slightly.
“I dunno, it sure doesn't look like you've gotten bored yet from my point of view.”
“Oh, don't you start with me. Just wipe that smug grin off'a your face and roll.”
“Three,” Shining replied. “Well, hey, bright side; I just doubled my distance from the start.”
“Good for you. Maybe you'll actually get where I am before I have the chance to lap you.”
“You know, for someone who seems pretty intent on not enjoying herself you sure are being a sore winner.”
It was Cadence's turn to grin. “What can I say? It's in my nature.”
Shining Armour rolled his eyes and said no more, drawing his card. “... Huh.”
“What's it say?”
“'Things won't be getting boring any time soon. Next effect doubled.'”

it's about family members associating therefore it's christmasy, shut up. considering i tend to not write male characters for obvious reasons, but man is writing nerdy dad shining armour fun.
i'm still not entirely sure how lewd i wanna go with this, or even the specific kinds of lewdness i want. no sex tag for now but that's subject to change. likewise haven't decided if i want them to stay human or not. we'll see, i'm just making this shit up as i gooooooo.

Cadence shrugged. “I mean, fine? I wouldn’t still be playing this if I legitimately objected to getting bigger.”
“You have been pretty grumbly though.”
“That would be me playing it up, dear. Think of it as part of the roleplaying. My turn.” Shining rolled his eyes but handed over the die regardless. “Three. Man we’ve only gotten threes and sixes, haven’t we? You’re right about needing that extra dice.”
“Well, we know for future reference.”
“Right, well. I’m still not entirely sold on playing this game more than once,” Cadence replied as she drew her card. “It’s yet to really do anything that we couldn’t just do on our own, after all.”
“I dunno, I kinda dig the lack of control.”
“Says the guy who hasn’t been changed at all yet.”
“Read your card, dear.”
“Fine, fine. ‘Oh no! You accidentally broke a mirror on the way to the bank! Grow lucky seven feet to-’ I’m sorry, what?”
“Finish reading the card, dear. It might not be so bad?”
“‘Grow lucky seven feet to counteract the bad luck.’ Okay, but that’s a lot of extra feet, honey.”
“Yeah, uh. You should probably maybe consider scootching back a bit so you don’t knock over the table. Again.”
“Oh fuck I think it’s too late for thaaaaaat~” The rubbery noise returned once more, this time anything but quiet. A deep, rumbling growl that echoed through the rec room as Cadence began to grow. Slowly, agonizingly slowly, especially considering how much she was going to grow. Shining’s last card did specify her next effect would be doubled. And while higher math was a bit beyond her at the moment, seven times two wasn’t exactly higher math. “Okay I take it back we are absolutely playing this agaaaaaaaaaaain~”
“I’ll just, uh, tend to the board then.” Shining’s magic once again enveloped the table, and it gently lifted off the ground and floated out of the danger zone. It turned out to be a mostly useless gesture – Cadence’s lower body mostly grew backwards and her upper body mostly grew upwards. Her legs slowly slid across the carpeted floor, an inch at a time and then several inches at a time before eventually escalating to foot after foot of growth in quick succession. All told it took about a minute of solid growth before it slowed down and stopped.
“Okay so,” Cadance eventually managed to say, in between heavy breaths. “I think the game has officially proven its point.”
“Yeah, uh. Your torso is kinda bigger than me,” Shining replied, his line of vision making it clear his mind was more focused on something else that was also bigger than him. “Don’t quote me on this, but I think that puts you at twenty five feet?”
“I’ve been bigger. But, uh.”
“Yeah, you sure sounded like you enjoyed yourself.”
“Don’t bully your wife, or you’re sleeping on the couch for a week.”
“Worth it. My turn. Three, looks like I’m catching up with you, babe.”
“If I roll a three next turn I’m gonna scream.”
Shining shrugged, drawing his card. “I’m gonna scream if it’s another lose a turn or gain a turn card.”
“Don’t you normally prefer being the small one?”
“Yeah, normally, but this is a game. Having nothing happen every other turn is boring.”
“I thought we weren’t supposed to sass the game?”
Shining frowned, holding up his card to read it. “I’d be up for some karmic payback if it made things more interesting. ‘Nothing spices things up quite like getting a good look at life from the other side of the fence.’ What’s that supposed to mean?”
A small smile crept its way onto Cadence’s face. “Oh, I think I can hazard a guess. Looks like Growerland has a type.”
“And what’s that supposed to mean???”
“Give it a second.”
Shining’s frown deepened, his expression settling somewhere between dubious and confused. “I think I kind of prefer when the game’s a bit more straightforward in what it’s gonna do?”
“I think that it’s been plenty straightforward this time, honey.”
“I-” he paused, taking a moment to cough slightly. “Ugh, sorry, I think I’ve got a frog in my throat all of a sudden. Does my voice sound weird to you?”
“Sounds normal, given the circumstances.”
“You know, the magic board game’s being cryptic enough without you joining in. Ugh, and now my hair’s getting in my face. When was the last time I got a haircut?”
Cadence sighed rolling her eyes. “Honey, I don’t mean to be blunt, but I’m not being cryptic so much as you’re being oblivious.”
“What?”
“Look down.”
It was Shining’s turn to roll his eyes, but he did as his wife suggested anyway. “Oh. That’s what you meant by the game having a type.” He reached up and hefted his new boobs for emphasis. Or her new boobs, he supposed, if you went purely by biology. Now that he was actually paying attention, he could pretty readily tell that he was missing certain specific bits of plumbing that were supposed to be there. His loose-fitting shorts were no longer being tented by his obvious erection because there was nothing left to get erect. And they were also getting noticeably less loose-fitting as his hips widened and ass filled out. Thankfully, at least his hard earned muscle seemed to be staying put in the face of his new fat deposits. Or at least it didn’t feel like they were at all diminishing. Not that he particularly minded, one way or the other – it wasn’t like this was going to be permanent, after all.
God he hoped this wasn’t gonna be permanent. Especially not the boobs.
God, they were huge – looking at things proportionally they were bigger than Cadence’s! Of course, given the size difference between the two, obviously his wife’s were physically bigger, but Shining’s were quickly approaching twice the size of his head before they began slowing down. He sighed, attempting to push his now longer and more feminine bangs out of his face. “Man, I really hope these go away after this because they’re absolutely gonna get in the way.”
“I dunno, babe, I think you’d look good in a literal breastplate.”
“Ugh.”
“Should I start calling you Gleaming Shield?”
“Ugh. You know how much I hate the fact that apparently I’ve got an official name for if I’m ever a girl.”
“Anyway, my turn.”
“Can you at least give me a few minutes to adjust to losing my manhood?”
“I rolled a six.”
“Ugh. There go my chances at catching up any time soon. That almost puts you at a full lap.”
“Well, maybe you’ll roll sixes for the next three turns while I only manage ones and twos.”
“I doubt it. The die hasn’t exactly been treating me kindly today. Draw your card?”
“I’m about to,” Cadence replied. At this point she was big enough that her hands couldn’t easily pick up an individual card, so instead she used magic. “... Huh.”
“Huh?”
“Remember when you complained that the game was being cryptic?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, this card’s just got a picture of a muffin with a tag that says ‘eat me’ on it.”
“Oh. Yeah, uh, that’s more cryptic than mine was.”
“I think I have a guess as to what it’s gonna do, though.”
“The reference is, ah, a bit on the nose.”
“I don’t mind it being coy, but this is a bit much,” she grumbled as, with a rubbery rumbling, her breasts lurched the prerequisite cup size bigger. “I’d like to have, like, an idea of what, specifically, is gonna happen, you know?”
“Look again? The game’s already changed what a card said once before.”
“Well, here, you look at it then,” Cadence replied, casually tossing the card in her husband’s direction. Partially because she wasn’t entirely convinced it’d work, but also partially because she was slightly more concerned with the fact that her body was still making that rubbery rumbling even though her breasts had stopped growing. If anything, it had started to get louder.
Shining caught the card with his magic, giving his wife a dirty look before examining the card – and then when he did, his eyes widened. “Uh oh.”
“What do you mean, ‘uh oh’?”
“Uh... well, the good news is that it seems to have gotten the hint about not being quite so cryptic?”
“Okay but what’s the bad news then.”
“‘You probably shouldn’t have eaten that suspicious muffin. Double in height.’”
“what”
“Okay, uh... Don’t panic. It’s fine. We’re fine.”
“Honey is there even gonna be room for me if I get twice as tall as I am now?!”
“It’ll be fine!” Shining Armour replied, clearly not entirely certain. “We added like a billion redundant safety enchantments when Flurry’s magic channels started to come in, remember?”
“I couldn’t forget Flurry-zilla if I tried, honey.”
“Anyway, uh, the point is that there’s contingencies for this specific scenario. Just, uh, try not to wiggle too much? I’ll handle the board.”
“Mnf,” Cadence grunted in response as that familiar tightness began to build, spreading throughout her entire body but focusing especially hard on certain specific extremities. “I- ah! I make no promises. This feels- a-ahn~” Whatever Cadence was going to say, she didn’t manage to say it – though, honestly, it wasn’t hard for Shining to guess, with the way she was wriggling and writhing and blushing and panting. “I- I’m gonna-”
“Try not to gonna too hard, honey. Remember, it’s Flurry’s naptime.”
Cadence responded with an idle wave of her hand and a flash of magic. “There, sound dampening spell on the entire room,” she said tersely. “Honey this one feels like a big one.”
“You’re gonna be like fifty fucking feet when this is done, babe.”
That, somehow, was enough to push Cadence over the edge. Her breath caught in her throat and all her muscles locked up as all that tightness finally found release. She surged bigger and bigger in awkward, uneven spurts in time with her first climax. She had no idea how long it lasted, given the rec room didn’t have a clock, but by the time she was done her husband looked significantly smaller.
“Uh... Maybe we should call it here?”
“Fuck that shit,” Cadence replied. “I want more.”
“Well, okay then!” Shining said with a shrug, before picking up the dice.
“Huh. I’d have thought you’d push back a bit more.”
“Hey, if you’re okay with continuing, I’m okay with continuing. I’m having a blast!”
“What about the whole... You know.” She gestured vaguely with her hands, not really capable of anything more specific due to her sheer size – she found herself without much room to work with.
“It’ll be fine,” Shining responded, though his smile was notably more terse. “I’m pretty sure that this is gonna be temporary. It’s gotta be temporary.”
“I know I’ve been joking about this game being cursed but I’d assume that the rulebook explains the enchantment and how it works. Does it not specify?”
“I’m gonna roll the die.”
“I’ll take that as a ‘no’.”
“I rolled a three.”
“Again?”
“I don’t think either of us have rolled a four or five at any point since the game started. Maybe we should, like, get some new dice for this. Or something.” He picked up his piece, moved it the prerequisite three spaces, and then drew a card. “‘The hills are alive.’”

Shining sighed. “Well, it’s still being cryptic, but at least it’s not being subtle.”
“Honestly I think I’d rather it be subtle than it be cryptic. That’s just cheesy, and it doesn’t actually get the effect across. How big are they gonna get?”
“We’re about to find out,” Shining replied, sullenly gazing down at his frankly already enormous rack. “They’re already unreasonably huge, dangit.”
“Honestly I wouldn’t have thought I’d ever hear you objecting to this kinda thing. I thought you liked big tits?”
“Yeah, on other people.”
“Well, they look good on you.”
“Thanks.” Shining didn’t sound particularly thankful.
“Look at it like this. Now you can play with big tits literally whenever you want, even if I’m not around!”
“These are absolutely going away once the game’s over, dear.” Before either of them could continue that line of thought, there was a loud rumbling gurgle. Like a cross between an earthquake and stomach noises. The sounds of impending growth, accompanied by the sensations of impending growth. A heat, a tightness, a fullness, all the usual stuff – just in a different place than was typical. It wasn’t unusual for their play to involve his junk getting bigged in order to satisfy his size queen of a wife. Boobs, though, was a new one.

And, given the way the rumbling was getting louder and his chest was feeling tighter, he was about to get a lot less generous on that front (and a lot more generous on another). “Ack!” Shining found himself tumbling forward. Partly because of the abrupt change in his centre of balance, partly because they were just so fucking gigantic that he kind of doubted his ability to even stand up at all anymore. They had to have doubled in size in one fell swoop – and they were already bigger than his head. His shirt had gone from fitting at all to just straight up not fitting. It just barely covered the relevant bits and exactly nothing else.
“You okay?”
“I think I might have crushed the board a bit.”
“Well, hey, now we’ve both done that. Hold on a second, let me just...” Cadence’s hands were quickly enveloped in the telltale blue glow of magic, and Shining found himself lifted into the air and shunted backwards. Next came the board. The pieces and cards were enveloped in that same blue glow and quickly returned to where they were supposed to be before they got knocked over by sudden growth. Again.
“I think maybe we should probably give the game board a little bit more breathing room.”
“That’s probably a good idea. Or just enchant it so that this can’t happen anymore?”
“Let’s go with that. Ugh, I can’t reach the die or the cards.”
“I can but they’re too small for me to grab.”
“Maybe we should call it done after all.”
“Let’s at least try and go one complete round of the board,” Cadence replied. “I haven’t even finished with my five turns of boob biggening.”
“Honey you’re like fifty feet tall, can you even see the board?”
“We can use magic to make up the difference. I’m rollin’.”
At this point, rolling the dice all but required the use of magic. It was just too small for her to actually pick up and roll properly. “What did I roll?”
“I can’t tell.”
“That’s fine, we can use magic to- oh, a one.”
“At least it’s not another fucking three.”
“Well, it is going to drag things out. I know I’m the one arguing in favour of keeping the game going, but this is just a little obnoxious.” Still, it only took a wave of her hand for her piece to move. “Couldja grab a card for me?”
“Yeah, hold on.” Honestly, Cadence probably could have gotten her own card – Shining also had to use magic to grab it and float it over to his wife.
“Huh.”
“What does it say?”
“Remember when I said I’d rather the game be subtle than it be cryptic?”
“Yeah?”
“It’s being cryptic. And subtle.”
“Oh boy. What’s it say?”
“‘Contract kaiju flu.’ Whatever that means.”
Shining frowned. “I think I can hazard a few guesses. Given the general direction the game’s been going in.”
“Well, we’re going to find out any second now,” Cadence replied with about as much of a shrug as she could muster, given her size and the relative lack of space in the room. “Why don’t you roll in the meantime.”
“I think we should probably wait for whatever’s gonna happen to you to, uh, happen first. Just in case.”
“I guess, but I’d kinda like to speed things up a little bit.”
“We shouldn’t speed things up too much,” Shining replied, just a bit hesitant. “I don’t want a situation where we’re going so much faster than the game that we’ve got multiple effects going at once.”
“... Okay, yeah, that’d be a problem.” Cadence was already having a hard time dealing with just whatever the cards said and also the breast expansion. If they rolled immediately after drawing a card, then there’s no doubt that eventually she’d have two or three effects going on at once. Though, on the other hand, given how good the effects felt, she highly doubted that she’d be able to reach that point. Lord knows that she couldn’t have possibly rolled anything during the last effect. Even if it was somewhat exceptionally potent, she got the impression that the game was escalating. They’d reached the point where it was willing to double her height in one go. She had no idea how much farther it was willing to push things, and frankly she was a little apprehensive about finding out.
Not that she had much choice in the matter. The only way to stop this was to end the game. And, well, she’d already made the decision to keep going until one of them went around once. She could at least take solace in the fact that she was only six spaces from winning. Of course, given the game’s apparent preference for threes and ones, who fucking knew how many turns it’d take to move those six spaces?
At least this was going to be the last turn for the breast expansion effect. Unless she hit another multi-tern effect, she was only going to have to deal with one transformation per roll. And, frankly, she was fine with that. Her tits were already frankly enormous, and while she’d certainly gone bigger in the past, but at this point it seemed like the game was intent on Shining having the bigger tits (proportionally, at least). Hopefully before the end of the game he’d get big enough for her to be able to meaningfully play with them.
Speaking of which, she bit her lower lip as the rubbery sounds of growth started up once more. She tried not to think about it too much, but that was difficult. It had been a while, but she was still a bit riled up from her earlier climax. Her whole body felt much more sensitive than normal. “Well, if it’s supposed to be a disease, maybe it takes time to kick in?”
“Why don’t you roll, then? See if that makes anything happen. Worst comes to worst we can just pump the breaks and wait for things to play out before I take another turn.”
“That seems like as good a plan as any. Gimme a sec, these dang cow tits are getting in the way.”
“Now you know how I feel whenever we do breast expansion play.”
“Yeah, yeah, that’s what magic’s for. One. Damn.”
“Yeah, that’s just par for the course at this point. What’s the card say?”
“Gimme a sec... ‘If you want cow tits then you can have them. And cow everything else, too.’ Oh, come on, game, no need to get pissy at me complaining about my boobs getting in the way.”
“To be entirely fair, you did give it an obvious opening.”
“Yeah, whatever, I’m not gonna give it the satisfaction of mooing.”

“I’m not mooing.”
“If you turn into a cow you gotta moo. Those are just the rules.”
“Nope,” Shining said, crossing his arms as best as he could given the sheer size of his chest and the fact that he just plain wasn’t used to having anything in the way of crossing his arms at all. He eventually settled on resting them on top of his cleavage. “Not gonna do i- ah!”
Shining removed his arms from his tits like they were on fire. What had actually happened was that the pressure of his arms had resulted in leaking. Big fat wet spots spread across what was left of his shirt from fist-sized bulges that definitely didn’t used to be fist-sized in the slightest. At this point his top had gone from just barely adequate to outright not adequate, as a result of the increase in size of his nipples. “I’m not gonna mmmm-” Shining cut himself off, rubbing his thickening thighs together. White fur with blue splotches slowly sprouted across his ample flesh. He reached up and grabbed at his face as it began to shift into a snout, just in time to catch his fingers swelling and merging into something like prehensile hooves. “M-m-mooooooooo~” he mooed as a cow tail erupted from the top of his ass, pushing his shorts down slightly. Honestly, the stretchy clothing enchantment was probably the only reason they were even still intact given how big his ass had gotten – not quite a rival for his tits, but at least on par with Cadence’s.
“Ha. You mooed.”
“Yeah, I mooed,” Shining grumbled, blushing beneath his new coat of fur. “Yuk it up.”
“I’m not gonna make fun of you too much,” Cadence said, her tone of voice making it clear she was gonna hold this one over him for a while. “I’ve got my own concerns.”
“Like what.”
“Well,” she said, grinning – and, in the process, showing off big triangular teeth that looked like they’d be more at home in a beartrap than someone’s mouth. Her skin also seemed... different. Slightly darker, rougher, dry to the point where it seemed like it was peeling off in places. Her eyes seemed unfocused, and unusually green. “For starters, I think I’ve figured out what Kaiju Flu does.”
