3rd Person P.O.V.

Flying off to see her friends was nice, but when she went home, many friends would be there, just to play with her. But that was going to be late at dusk. Right now, she smiled as she quickly flew to her idol's workspace, hoping to catch a glimpse of what was inside of the fabled 'Rainbow Factory.' (NO!! NOT THAT RAINBOW FACTORY!) Grinning, she went into a cloud bank as peeked through the clouds and watched zoom into the Factory.

Midnight Strike's P.O.V.

Flapping up, I started to fly to a cloud bank. Halfway there, I felt something move in my mane. I paused, causing something blue to tumble out. I caught it. Frowning, I stared at the feathered bundle. "What were you thinking, Bolt? You know you are too young to accompany me." I shook my head. Too late to bring him back.

I must have been lucky today, because when I watched Rainbow Dash walk into the Factory, the door didn't swing all the way shut! Smirking, I stuck my tongue out at the key card scanner and quickly flew in. Zipping around the Factory was easy, after all, I could just tuck in the clouds. Then I saw her in a white lab coat, heading to the deeper part of the Factory. I guess I flapped too fast because I soon flew past her and into the snow building, where I saw an astonished lilac unicorn. She then frowned and went to talk to some other unicorns.

"How'd you get in here, kid?" The voice of my idol spoke. I tensed, waiting for scolding until she opened her mouth and laughed.

"You are one fast pegasus, you know that? You reached half the speed needed for the Sonic Rainboom! Of course, I could fly like that when I was a filly, but that's besides the point!" She held her hoof out and I gladly accepted it, silently vowing to never wash that hoof again. She sneered the unicorns, which two I recall to be some of her enemies. I then sneered at them, getting myself covered in snow. I sped out and around the Factory, trying to find Rainbow Dash. I bumped into a yellow pegasus.

"Hey, are you ok?" She looked relieved not to have someone freaking out about her. I wonder why. Smiling, she nods.

Then she speaks in a soft voice, "Hello. Are you going to see Rainbow Dash?" I nod. "I am too." She blushes and paws at the clouds.

"Would you like to come with me to visit her?" I glance at her. "Would I?! Yes!"

We chatted for a while until I had asked her, "What's your name?" Her gaze went from smiling to a slack, forced grin on her face.

"Fluttershy... My name is Fluttershy." Then it came to me. The yellow fur, the long pink mane! "Oh my goodness! You are Fluttershy, the animal caretaker? All my winged animals love to talk about you!" Her shyness vanished, and her eyes widened as she noticed Bolt in my mane. Squealing, she picked him up and swung him around. He twittered in shock as he was shoved into the picnic basket and picked up.

"You should have told me you loved animals, I would have talked to you about them right away!" She giggled and we started flight again.

We landed on a giant cloud home, that was near an ice mansion. Definitely on my break in and explore list. Turning back to look at Fluttershy, she had disappeared. Then she poked her head out of the cloud wall. "You coming?" I nod and trot though the wall.

"Fluttershy, I'm not going on another lame picnic of yours! I need to train for the performance next week! You know the Wonderbolts don't let trainees slack off!" I saw my hero rolling her magenta eyes as they wandered over the room. "And where's the guest? You better not have brought another- AGH!" Bolt started to attack Rainbow Dash, unaware that she was my hero. I quickly flew in and detained him (caught him) and apologized profusely.

"I'm so sorry, Rainbow Dash! I don't know what came over him..." She scanned me over, then her eyes widened as her gaze landed on my cutie mark. "You're the pony that managed to get into the Rainbow Factory! Hey, are you coming to the picnic with Flutters over there?" She gestured to the yellow mare, scolding my poor blue bird for attacking Rainbow. Well, that was rude of him. I nodded, and she turned to Fluttershy.

"Well, Flutters. If she's going, I'm going too! I could give her a little 'Rainbow' training!" I smiled at that, nodded, and picked up the basket of goodies and the blanket. We flew over to a hill, where I could see was near the staircase going up to the giant ice mansion. Guess I had a detour to make. Rainbow looked at the castle and snorted. I looked at her in confusion.

"The owner of the house is technically the reason you exist. Without her, you never would have come here, programmed with those memories that you remember." I nodded, remembering that I was just in this... black room until I was suddenly sucked out of it into a house with tons of animals. "But the price was me. She froze my blood, making me immobile. I was the bargaining chip!" Rainbow was upset by now, kicking her hoof into the ground.

"Now, now, Rainbow. You know that you were being arrogant. You were in her house, and you disrespected the hostess. What do you expect, a welcoming party?" At this, Rainbow grinned lopsided. "Yeah, but I get awesome new friends, such as you- uh... What was your name?" I giggled a bit, putting a hoof to my muzzle to muffle the laughter.

"My name is Midnight Strike." I didn't care that she didn't know my name. She called me HER. AWESOME. FRIEND. That was all I needed. We ate lunch, which was delicious. Who knew salad could taste so good with home grown crops? Then Rainbow dragged me over to 'train'. She cracked a lot of bones during warm up, which made me wonder about her skeletal structure. "Now, Strike. Fly as fast as you can go. Fluttershy here will race you. Don't underestimate her, she was the reason the hurricane could reach Cloudsdale."

Grinning, I nodded. This was the best day EVER!

And... I'M SORRY I DIDN'T UPDATE IT'S FINALS WEEK OVER HERE AND I GOT SICK!! Plus, the hotels I went to for Spring Break? THEY DIDN'T HAVE WIFI! WHAT HOTEL DOESN'T HAVE WIFI?!
