A dragon ends up getting outcasted from the homeland of dragons. Flying oversea to a “new land” which he hates since nothing seems to inhabit it, so he goes to hibernate until all the crappiness of this land has changed into something he can rule over with an iron-claw. The dragon had been expecting humans which he had heard myths of when he was a hatchling. Or goblins that worshiped dragons like gods or even on the rarest chance a curious wild animal to be what awoke him. Not a pastel colored horse with a horn and wearing a cloak like a wizard.. wait, what!?!
