Entry 5, June 24, 1001

So I discovered what the Gala is. Its some celebration the my sister started back a couple hundred years ago as a way to break the monotony. Her student and her five friends are attending. She asked if I could attend, but I don't fell that I can handle being a Princess. I think Celestia has noticed my lack of refinement.

Blueblood's lesson mentioned something about an ancient changeling war that happened soon after my banishment. The changelings were led by this Queen Chrysalis, who for some reason seems very familiar. In fact everything is somewhat familiar to me. I don't know if it is Luna's memories that I saw during that dream, or something else.

Anyways, I have taken the liberty to teach myself how to fly. I have made some progress, though I did add a lovely dent in my wall.

Also, my sister mentioned that Princess Cadence is returning tomorrow. I wonder why she seems so familiar.
