Possibilities

In the land of Equestria, the magical land of ponies, there were six young mares whose friendship could defeat evil and bring peace and prosperity to the land. They were named Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. They are known as the Mane 6 for their many heroics and actions. In their childhoods, they each witnessed an event that changed their lives forever: The Sonic Rainboom. This amazing event was caused by a young Rainbow Dash, who was defending her friend, Fluttershy, from some bullies by winning a race. After this, these six young mares obtained their Cutie Marks all at once and with them, their callings in life, and their destinies as Equestria's greatest defenders. But one day, there was this one Unicorn named Starlight Glimmer, who had a deep grudge towards Twilight Sparkle for events that led to a peculiar event in Existence. The two entered into a conflict of magic that determined the outcome of the events that would occur in the timeline. The "Main Timeline" is what would happen should the Sonic Rainboom occur without interruption. But because of Starlight Glimmer, the multiple methods of stopping the Sonic Rainboom created many different timelines that each divert away from the main one. Each one of these timelines had a very bleak future, some worse, and others not so much. Twilight Sparkle and her little Dragon, Spike, did everything they could to stop this insane cycle of fighting and failing to stop Starlight Glimmer. Ultimately, it was obvious that they couldn't do it without making a fatal mistake. Until Twilight Sparkle finally convinced Starlight Glimmer to stop the conflict and let the timeline go as it was supposed to. These many timelines that would occur only spawned questions from those who bare witness to each of them. But one onlooker stood out amongst the many others and asked one question: "Is there nothing but misery to be seen from these multiple timelines?" Naturally, that wouldn't be the case because there are an infinite number of timelines to be witnessed by the onlookers. Sadly, there were many, many unpleasant futures that would occur in these timelines. But there is one timeline that breaks this misery. And this is the story of what could happen to these six young mares in their lives.
