2- A Guard's Promise

I think that the best kind of change, is the change that comes from the inside and begins it's way out until it emerges on the outside; a change that is born underneath then continues and spreads until it has reached the surface. That's a true change.

(Everfree Forest, one hour before Nightmare Night)

The hungry Timber wolves howled, as their eyes glowed emerald in the moonlight. The surroundings were different from the last-time she'd visited before, somehow it has become overgrown.

The Timber wolves quickly caught up to her, as one of her wings is badly damaged in a fight with one of them while defending herself. They slowly circled around her, more then anything she wished she could fly herself to safety.

Unfortunately she can't grant her own wishes despite her namesake and a healing spell won't work either. As her Alicorn magic is weakened right now because of her injured wing.

Her wing was getting much worse as blood dripping everywhere she couldn't stop to inspect the condition of it, without giving away her location. Wish Granter needed to rest from the Timber wolves, who were still hunting her down.

Princess Wish Granter was tempted to use her teleportation magic on herself as a last resort. But quickly remembered her (TMS) Teleportation Motion Sickness which causes her to be violently sick whenever she teleports herself or another pony somewhere else.

She was running out of options and becoming very weary from hours of running for her life.

The Timber Wolves had found her again and were ready for the final strike, when suddenly Princess Wish Granter heard a strange sound "VWORP VWORP VWORP," as a even stranger blue police box appeared out of nowhere.

She felt so relieved to be rescued and sick to her stomach, that Wish Granter fainted.

When Wish Granter come to, she looked at her new surroundings "Who's their?" using telepathy to speak.

"I see you're still alive, how fascinating!" a British voice spoke from behind Wish Granter.

"C'east le vie" she spoke back into his mind with a shrug in his direction.

"La vie est merveilluse?!" he responded back to me in a French accent out loud.

I was amazed at how well he spoke it.

I fainted yet again, but this time from the blood loss.

"Please get up. Open you're eyes!"

My eyes blinked open at the sound of The Doctor voice.

"Come on, you impossible Mare, I managed to stop the bleeding!"

(Meanwhile back in Canterlot )

"When are we, going to met this Wish Granter?" Twilight asked Princess Celestia.

"My little ponies, you'll meet her very soon."

"This is you're home,Oh hello Marshmallow!" The Doctor said cheerful.

He was followed by Princess Wish Granter who was holding her head up high giving off an air of confidence, beside her was a royal Bat-pony guard.

Twilight looked towards this very young Unicorn pony with a hue the colour of snow and her is a shooting star with a rainbow.

She's not like a normal horned horse, as unicorns do in Equstria.

The long horn was above her turquoise eyes and that beautiful mane almost fell to the middle of her back was blue with a pink-striped mane.

"Twilight is she your long lost little sister?" Rainbow Dash joked looking towards the young Unicorn.

"Dont be silly Rainbow Dash, the only sibling I have is My Brother Shining Armor!"

"You two could be twins expect for diffrents in horn size." Pinkie chimed in with Dashie.

"b] We Apologize for disturbing you like this, but The Doctor would like a word with in private."

Vladmir bend his head down as a sign of respect, before he escorted Princess Wish Granter back to her royal Chambers.

"I'm sorry you and your friends must leave this room, Your welcome to stay the night."

"We are most greatful, thank you Princess." Twilight bowed her head in gratitude.

"Who was that unicorn?" Pinky Pie poked her head out from Celestia's flowing mane before joining the rest of her friends.

"Pinkie Pie, That was...Rainbow Wishes!?!

"Rair,who's that!?"

"You mean, that nopony told you?"

"Just tell us already and why dose she resemble our Twilight?!" Applejack shouted at her.

"She was the only filly in history to become the youngest Model/Actress/Singer."

"Her mother, Mistral is a fameous fashion designer who caters to Fillies and Mares alike, I have all of Rainbow Wishes films."

"But, um what happened to her?!"

"FlutterShy,nopony knows deary."

"She has many names and her current one is Wish Granter"

"Luna is taking her to the Dream Scape world because she's the only pony able to stay awake during My Sister's night."

"Like a Changling, Princess Wish Granter is able to change her appearance but through Magic spells of course."

"According to my sister, Wish Granter has an interesting way of communicating with other ponies."

"Princess, will speak to you in the morning, when you're not to busy." Twilight said pushing Pinkie pie out the door first using her magic, the others following closely behind her.

"Come on girls, let's get our beauty sleep, Goodbye Doctor!" Rairty fluttered her eyelashes at him.

"So little one, did thy journey end well?"

"DON'T WORRY LITTLE ONE, WELL HAVE THY FUN, THIS NIGHTMARE NIGHT!"

"Her parents death were caused by Changlings!"

"Wish Granter has the right to know the names of these Changlings,who stole her filliehood away!"

"Doctor, I don't regret not telling Wish Granter the truth."

"I made a Pinkie Promise Lulu,not to tell anypony else apart from you!"

"If you ever think about telling her, remember that this knowledge will break her!"

"Could you live with yourself knowing what you've done?!"

"Princess, how could you say such a thing!" The Doctor shouted letting his rage get the better of him.

"Doctor, I'll tell you why!" Princess said in a calming tone.

"She's a very damaged pony, I know not what those Changlings did to her over the years, but it must of been traumatic!"

"If these enemies know about her, It's only a matter of time before they find her again!"

"Celestia, we can stop them from taking Wish Granter, can't we!?" said the Doctor.

"Doctor, I hope that we can!" Celestia spoke with worry in her tone whilst sitting on her throne.

A few moments later

"If these enemies know about her, It's only a matter of time before they find her again!" Vladimir had tried to drown Celestia's final words from inside his mind.

He'd had listened to the whole conversation in secret.

Wish Granter was using her telepathy to speak with him, but Vladimir was too distracted with his duties and trying to protect her from this new threat to respond.

Vladimir's feelings intensified, he snarled at himself. Wish Granter could see that he was agitated and edgy.

I was about to pass him when he grabbed me, so fast that I didn’t see anything until he had me pinned against the wall. As he grasped my wings.

Vladimir was particularly good at navigating in dark places and he could see a shadowed figure coming towards them from the hallway.

Vladimir quickly stept in front of Wish Granter protectively. His slitted-pupils seemed to glow somehow, his teeth were bared into a snarl, as he flashed Twilight his long sharp fangs.

"Calm down, Captain!"

Wish Granter looked to Twilight and back towards Captain Vespertilio, hearing the abrypt warning in her tone.

Vladimir slowly released Wish Granter, he then straightened to his full height.

He gave Wish Granter a quick nod, then swung around to face Princess Twilight Sparkle.

"Forgive me, I won't let it happen again." Vladmir acknowledged Princess Twilight and not seeming ruffled, by what he just did.

"I can see that you need to control yourself." "Captain, but I trusted that BLCSFF is in save care?." Twilight said turned her gaze towards him, before galloping away.

"I would never harm, my Princess!" he shouted back at her.

Wish Granter blinked in surprise,Princess Lunar had mentioned that she herself is now the step-cousin to Twilight's family, but she'd only met the Princess briefly tonight.

[b/] "Vladdy, you don't seem like yourself?" Wish-Granter spoke into his mind.

A deep blush spread from his head to his neck at the mention of her nickname for him.

Never in his years of being Captain of Lunar's Night Guard had anypony called him "Vladdy" before.

"Wish Granter, is anypony after you?" Captain Vespertilio said ignoring her question.

He touched Wish Granter with one of his bat-like wings with great tenderness.

Wish Granter's ears drooped suddenly, she used her telepathy to speak with him. "Vladdy, I was hoping that you, wouldn't find out!"

"The Queen Of The Changelings may be heartless, but my parents and the rest of their kind just love foals! and I gave them, my love so freely and unconditionally!"

"You were raised by Changelings!?"

"Shhhh, you can't tell anypony, I'll be treated as an outcast!"

"I will love you hard enough to shed that armor you hold around your heart"

"I will love you hard enough to let your guard down, you know the works of n.r. hart?"

"Their's a lot you dont know about me Princess!"

"Good-night Captain, I'll look forward to seeing you tomorrow night!"

Good-Night my Princess, I'll be right outside your door if you need me and don't study to much!"

"You're graduating early then Twilight Sparkel ever did"

"You know as well!?"

"Of course I do, Princess Luna is still going on about it non stop."

I paled at the thought of what he might say, if Vladdy would ever find out that I'm still being bullied at Magic School.

The only reason why, I'm graduating early then big cousin/sister,Twilight is because Magic Nutmeg is crazier then her two sisters.

They say a pony's determination can pull oneself forward and I want out of Magic School.

Scared when they pulled

... Sad when they kicked

... Terrified when they pushed

... Nasty when they hit

... Bad when they whispered.

(The Next Day)

Bruises that are ugly
and painful
are more than skin deep.

I hide my bruises with magic, but the hurt I still feel is always painful.

The sharp sting of tears reached behind my eyelids and fell down my face.

"What's, wrong Princess?"

I forgot to hide my body with an invisibility spell which would have covered these livid bruises and Captain Vespertilio is so observant.

"Princess, your beaten black and blue, who did this to you?!!" Vladimir beared his fangs in anger.

"Vladdy, it's nothing I'm fine!"

"Princess, I've been in many battles myself, to know when somepony is hurting!"

"Don't liar to me, I won't ask you again!!" Vladimir's expression looked agitated.

"I'm being bullied, are you satisfied!" she telepathically shouted inside his head.

Captain Vladimir's muzzle twitched and his eyelids fluttered.

"I must warn you that any mention of somepony bullying you, enrages me greatly!"

"I Promise to put these ponies away for a long time!"

"What kind of Promise is that?"

"A Guard's Promise!"
