Equestria, Three weeks Later

2nd POV

Queen Stella leaned back on her chair in her office sighing, it's been three weeks since she had that foreboding feeling and so far nothing really dangerous has happened... Well... not entirely. Equestria's neighboring country, Griffonia, reasently

Sitting up strait she faced her general that just entered as she said, "General, what's the news, are the griffons on the move?". The pegasus general, named General Shatter Shield by the way, stood at attention as he said in a voice that conveyed a combination of disappointment and fear.

"Your Majesty, the griffon army has broken through the eastern blockade, and is heading to Canterlot as we speak."

"What?! How?!? That was the most fortified blockade on our boarders?!?" the queen questioned/ shouted at the general.

"I'm sorry you highness, however they were not alone on the battlefield." the general said

"Help? Help from what?"

The general thought for a moment, thinking of the best way to describe the unknown creatures that aided their enemies. "They didn't look like anything i've ever seen your Majesty, they walked on two... what I'm guessing are feet, had no muzzles, coats, or even tails, though they did appear to have manes."

"I don't think I've heard of such creatures either." the queen said.

"Regardless. They appear to not have magic however do posses more advanced and powerful weaponry." said the general.

"What kind of weaponry?"

"They had much more powerful rifles compared to our arcane rifles, armored mobile cannon platforms, as well as some giant armored golems that they manually control. Here are some images that we were able to take before retreating." the general said as he put down a crystal that then shot out a few holographic images.

"Impossible, weaponry this advanced shouldn't even exist yet!" the queen thought in shock.

"Your highness, what is your command? They'll be here soon." the general reminded the stunned queen.

She turned back to him and said, " Prepare all the defenses and the army. Also tell the castle mages to erect the magic barrier around Canterlot." The general saluted as he ran out to carry out the queen's orders. The said queen had just left her office to prepare herself for the battle to come when she heard a little voice behind her.

"Mommy?"

She turned around and saw two small alicorn foals, her daughters, Celestia and Luna. Celestia had a snow white coat, a pink mane and had purple eyes. She was wearing a yellow dress with sun patterns on it. Luna had a purple-blue coat, light blue hair and had teal eyes (yes. I'm using Luna's first design. For now at least). She was wearing a similar dress however it was dark blue and had moon patterns on it instead. "Is there something wrong?" Celestia asked her mother.

The mother thought for a minute before answering. "Mommy's just going to fix something. You two need to go back to your rooms and wait for me to come back." as she turned her back to leave, Luna said something that made her stop in her tracks.

"Mama... I feel something."

Stella faced Luna in shock. In the past, Luna has been able to sense future events in the form of these "feelings". While they were few and far between they were always correct, and her predictions were never any good news. "Was it a... bad feeling?" the mother asked.

Luna nodded her head. "Yes, something is coming... something very scary." she said shaking a little.

"Is it the griffons?" Stella asked.

"No... it's much scarier than them." Luna was shaking now, tears staining her face.

"Oh dear it's alright, mommy's got you." Stella said taking her daughter in a comforting embrace. "Do you know what that "scary thing" is, or when it will arrive?

Luna shook her head, burying her face in the crook of her mother's neck.

"This is quite troubling, she's had terrible visions before, but they never scared her like this." Stella thought, hugging her youngest daughter tighter. "Could it be those creatures that were aiding the griffons? Regardless, whatever the danger, I will keep my kingdom and my daughters safe. No matter the cost."

Space

Azrael POV

I gazed upon the plant that will become our new home, it was decently sized lots of land to build on. Now, I would have questioned why there is a small sun rotating the planet like the moon, but I'll take it; solar energy is solar energy after all. Finally, after all those years, we can move on with our lives. No more wars, no more persecutions and racism, and most importantly no more hu-

"Sir! There are humans on this planet!"

"...SON OF A WHOREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! ok...I'm done.

I turned to the front screen where one of the pilots displayed images of humans accompanying bipedal griffons in army formations . "Wait..." I thought to myself "It's only been three weeks and they accepted relations with a completely different race that they had no prior connections to. Yet they ratted us out... then declared war on us. Robots mind you, that they made only to serve and help them, and gave life and limb for them until the bitter end... that hurts man... that really hurts."

"Sir, what are your orders." a pilot said as all eyes were on me.

"I'm going on ahead, I'll finish those jack holes off. Just land near my coordinates when I'm done... or if something happens. Which ever comes first." I said as I walked to an air lock.

"If I may sir" another pilot sounded out. "Wouldn't it be safer if we finish them together?"

"I'm sorry, no." I said. "I'm this close to going ape shit and I don't want any of you to get hurt... you all already know what I'm capable of and I can't control myself when I'm pissed." A tense silence enveloped the room.

"What are you planning sir?" a pilot asked, breaking the silence.

"...You seriously don't want to know." with that said, I opened the air lock and jumped out starting my decent on the planet.

Equestria

2nd POV

Two armies stood on the battlefield. On one side, the armies of Equestria led by their queen, Stella accompanied by the former leaders of the three pony tribes, Chancellor Puddinghead, Commander Hurricane, and Princess Platnum. On the other side, the armies of Griffonia along with their human companions; leading their charge is their king, Blood Claw and General Eric Stone, current leader of the remaining humans.

"HaHaHaHaHa!" the king laughed, "Those fools actually think their puny army stands a chance against our combined forces. Even with their magic, it won't be long before they fall at our feet."

The human general looked at his newly acquired ally. "You have to admire them though, they've got serious balls to stand there at all."

"Don't mistake stupidity for bravery general. Regardless, once Equestria's armies are crushed, I will have finally crushed the biggest threat to my power, and you humans will have a new land to call your own." The king raised his hand, signaling all the soldiers readied their weaponry. However, before before he could issue the command to attack, red-glowing ,object similar to a comet, crashed in the center of the two armies creating a crater and a huge explosion. Some soldiers from both sides went flying from the shock wave of the blast. When the smoke cleared, in the center of the crater was a young man, wearing a black long coat, under it was a red buttoned down shirt. He had white hair and his eyes were closed, both armies wished they stayed closed because when he opened them, they burned with enough rage and hatred that it could burn the soul of whoever they looked upon.

Azrael POV

Yep... those are humans... DAMMIT!!! I calmed myself down before saying something to the army, but they beat me to it.

"What are you doing here monster!" I recognized the voice as General Eric Stone. How do I know him? Easy, he was the bastard that ruined Earth, the one who planned Operation Dark Storm.

"Looking for a new home you son of a bitch." I responded.

"Well go look somewhere else! You already destroyed Earth, you are not destroying this planet!"

"FYI jackass, your the one who destroyed Earth. All we did was fight back when you stupid humans declared war on us. It's not our fault that you lost and you couldn't fix your own fuck up."

"ENOUGH!" the king cut in. "General, who is this man!?"

"He's Azrael your highness, King of the machines."

"King?" Blood Claw laughed. "There is only one king, and that is me." he turned to me. "You fool who do you think you are to stand in front of me?"

"So your the idiots that sided with those meat heads." I countered his jab, and I have to say it worked if the angered expression he gave me was anything to go by. "Look, I'll give you and your people one chance. Leave... now, my fight's with the humans."

There was a moment of silence before the entire army of griffons and humans laughed. "Us, leave? You think you intimidate me fool?" the king laughed some more.

"Very well, I gave you a choice to run away. Just remember I warned you." I said before I rose into the air, successfully shutting up the laughing army. Once I was high enough he stopped and put my hand behind his back. "Give me your best shot, I'm open."

The army took my taunt and opened fire, unleashing a barrage of missiles, bullets and energy based beams... perfect.

I simply raised my hand with my palm facing towards the projectiles and stopped all the projectiles, causing everybody on the battlefield to stare in disbelief. "Now for step number 2." I opened my mouth and took a deep breath and sucked in all of the energy projectiles. When I finished, I nearly laughed at everyone's shit face. I then turned my palm around, causing all of the bullets and missiles to now face the now scared army. "Anyone having regrets now?" Around half if not more of the army raised their hands. "Too late! Too bad!" I cleared my throat and gave a pause as I relished in their fear before shouting. "LET THE SLAUGHTER BEGGIN!!!" with that said I threw my hand down and caused all the projectiles to shoot back to the army.

Queen Stella POV

I watched the scene in front of me in a combination of fear and awe, and by the looks my soldiers were making, they were thinking the same thing.

The once powerful army was now running around in fear and panic as the barrage of projectiles fell upon them; seeking cover wherever they could find it. I know that they were planning to kill us and enslave us, but I actually feel sorry for them.After the longest two minutes of my life, the barrage was over leaving a large pack of smoke and a tense silence in it's wake.

"You think any of them survived that?" Commander Hurricane asked.

"I wouldn't be too sure on that dear, that was quite a brutal attack." Princess Platinum said.

I turned to the always cheerful Chancellor to see her reaction towards the attack, only to see her looking at the scene with sad eyes; not that I blame her.

The silence was broken when we heard screams of fear and gunfire coming from the large cloud of smoke.

"NO! STAY AWAY!!!"

"MERCY!!!"

"PLEASE, DON'T"

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!"

I wanted to help them, I really did, however I was gripped by something I have not felt in quite some time... fear. It was not like that sense of dread I had three weeks ago, no, this was genuine fear. "Could this be the dark presence Luna foresaw?" I thought.

My thoughts were halted when a blood covered human soldier went flying out of the cloud of smoke, skidding towards us until he was only a few meters away from us. He slowly raised his head to look at us and we saw the fear clearly in his eye as his other one was missing, he weakly reached his hand out towards us and said, "Help me... please." in a very weak voice. I slowly walked towards him to help when suddenly a bullet flew strait threw his forehead and he dropped his head dead. We all looked back to the smoke to see the monster they called Azrael walk out, not a scratch on him.

He stopped suddenly and turned around facing the fog. He then brought two fingers in front of his face where a small red orb of energy formed. After a few seconds, he brought his arm back and threw his arm to the side, sending out a wide red wave of energy towards the fog. Nothing happened for a few seconds before he turned around and a massive explosion suddenly erupted behind him, blowing dust everywhere. when the dust cleared, we all finally saw the aftermath of the slaughter; to be honest I wish we didn't. The ground was covered in mutilated and bloody corpses, there was fire everywhere, severed limbs were scattered in every direction; it looked like hell, literally. I looked to my army to see how they were holding up, they all had different reactions. Most of them were simply aghast in shock and fear, I'm pretty sure some of them actually wet themselves. Others were on the ground either passed out or emptying their stomachs, including them were Princess Platinum and Chancellor respectively.

All our attention (well... for those who are still awake at least) was drawn back to the battlefield by a loud roar of laughter and some shouts.

Azrael POV

"IT'S OVER!!! IT'S FINALLY OVER!!!" I shouted out out to the heavens as I continued to laugh hysterically. After I had my laugh, I remembered something that might bite me in the ass... those pony people saw everything. I looked back at the other army and saw the look of fear in each of them, minus the tall one in the front with both wings and a horn; I think her name was queen Stella. She was giving me the look I was giving the humans a few minutes ago. I guess she doesn't like her subjects scared shitless... fuck. "Ok" I thought to myself, "This might be bad... ok it is bad. Ok, it's fine, I'll just explain to them the situation and come to a rational outcome like civilized peo-"

BAMM!

My train of thought was broken by a powerful blast of magic hitting me square in the chest, the impact was so strong it actually pushed me back. "Hmm, been a while since something was strong enough to drive me back" I thought to myself. I looked back to see Stella giving me the look of death, kind of the look I was giving the humans.

"Your the dark presence my daughter foresaw." she said.

"Dark presence? What are you talking about lady?" I asked.

"Don't play dumb! No good being could kill as much or as savage."

"Well if you give me some time to explain, you will understand why I did what I did."

"Do you actually think I will listen to your lies, let alone believe them?" She then head out her hand and a spear of light appeared; she then took a fighting stance. "I will defeat you monster and Equestria will finally be at peace."

"...Well...Fuck."
