Equestrian Future

The engine roared causing the unicorn to wake up in the pilots seat, rubbing her head she let out a groan of annoyance. The windshield of the craft was frozen over already so Twilight quickly started the thaw process letting out a shiver of cold breath. Twilight had just woken up from a dream, it was once again about her legs. She had that one the most but didn't understand why. It had been a week sense she arrived here, sense the truth was told. About where she was, the future and her new life. Twilight rubbed her side against a side panel just behind the pilots seat as she got up and a Mic popped out form the wall and she spoke.

"Triton, this is Twilight Sparkle. I would say I am descending from the lower level" Twilight shook her head and closed her eyes waiting for the voice on the other end to speak back. "This is Twilight, its freezing out here!" Twilight sat and rolled her eyes once again as no pony answered. Twilight forgot to mention she was returning home, Triton was the planet she lived on. The planet was completely ice blue and had no rotation. The planet itself on the surface was too cold for it to be livable. Up in the sky however it was warmer, so the explorers of the past who discovered Triton decide to build there. Twilight lived in one of those towns, suspended over a icy death. "I'm returning home!!" Twilight tapped the mic and thats when another pony answered.

"Well why didn't you say so, haha~" The pony laughed and tapped the mic back. "Alright your ready to dock to platform B, thank you and stay cold" Twilight rolled her eyes again and frowned looking over at her dashboard and climbed back into the pilots seat. The windshield was thawed halfway, it was as far as it was going to get do to the cold winds Triton was creating today, Triton was deadly but it sure was a beautiful planet and Twilight was reminded that every time she came back home. Celestia and Luna both decided that this planet was the best for her, it was isolated and she could do her own thing for awhile. They also figured she could pay her far late respects to her friends. Twilight was all that was left of her friendships she created in the past. Rainbow, Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Spike, and Fluttershy were all gone. Twilight teared up already as she remembered when the news was broke to her about it. Like waking up in the future wasn't mind blowing enough. Every time she went to sleep these past few days she would remember them, she would think about them, her friends were everything to her and a life without them just didn't seem worth it. Celestia had told her that Tritan was only going to be temporary as things were set up, Twilight never thought to question what those things were. Twilight's ship then lowered itself down to the dock and quickly latched itself onto its side, Twilight moved quickly to the exit of the ship and pulled up her ear muffs, it was going to be a cold walk to the front of her home. This home, well it was called that but it sure didn't look or feel like one, not like the Oak Tree back in Ponyville. Twilight rushed out the door and the wind was howling and trying to push Twilight off the platform but with no success.

"I hate it here!" Twilight screamed to herself as she reached the door and pushed it open, "Why the cold planet, why a different planet at all!? I want to go home, home, not to this place" Twilight quickly pulled off her scarf and grunted to herself. The room was all white with household items laid around, there were only to rooms, living area and sleeping area. Twilight looked at all the items as she did yesterday and let out a long whine. She had no idea how to work anything. The future was weird and full of new things, a coffee machine on the counter was the easiest thing Twilight found. Everything else from the television to the sink was hard to use. Twilight was surprised to see all the things the future had to offer but she felt it was all pointless.

Twilight moved her hoof over the coffee cup making a circle above it, the steam was flowing up and swirling like a tornado with her hoof. Twilight wasn't sure how long she was sitting at the table but it felt like forever and her coffee was still too hot to drink. Twilight stared into the brown liquid inside and thought to herself as the robotic hoof continued to make a circle on the rim of the mug. Why did she have these new arms? What happened to her original body?

"Why do I have too keep waiting? Celestia has never been this vague with me" Twilight thought back to the words the Princess told her, "You must wait, I will come to you when your needed. Stay warm..." Twilight stood up and slowly walked over to one of the windows, outside the world below was experiencing a storm. The same storm it has had sense the beginning, Twilight sighed and shivered just looking down at it. "Why this place? Why can't I just go home to Golden Oaks!? That's home, not this ice cube!" Twilight lightly slammed her mug down on the windowsill and rolled her eyes in frustration. Twilight flung her head back and let it hang over the back of the chair so she was now looking up at the ceiling, when she was small she remembered always dreaming of what this time would bring, what did the future hold for ponies. Sitting on a cold planet dangling over an instant death was not something she was dreaming for. Twilight's horn sparked and her horn illuminated and she levitated her coffee onto the counter not far, "What did you expect...the future isn't fun without your friends...m-my f-friends..." Twilight quickly ran to her room and began to cry, this happened every time she thought about them.

Twilight was now laying in bed with all her clothes off, some of the cloth was laying across her belly and she stared at the ceiling making funny noises with her lips and tongue. The Unicorn was, bored, there was nothing she knew to do here. Everything here was too knew too her to understand yet and yet she was stuck in a place full of nothing to do. Twilight began to run her tongue along her lips as she stared up at the ceiling and that's when the door rang. A stallion voice started talking through the speaker in the front of the house.

"Package for a Miss. Sparkle~" Twilight slowly pushed herself out of her bed and groaned as she made her way to the door, this Equestrian Future was still very boring and she had received one of these packages a day from Celestia, maybe the large alicorn wanted to apologies for something or perhaps she wanted to make her old student feel at home. It wasn't working. Twilight opened the sealed door and the stallion quickly stepped and and screamed cover his eyes looking away from Twilight, she was naked. Twilight gasped falsely and rolled her eyes. Unlike her time....ponies here and everywhere wore clothes and having none on was rude to them. She has found this out twice now, The stallion shakily held out the package and apologized to her, "I am so sorry, I didn't realize you were changing! Did you just get out of the shower Miss. Sparkle?" Twilight slowly moved her gaze to look back where the shower was and blushed lightly at herself, she thought this was another stupid thing the future brought. Wear cloths or your naked and she was from the past where nothing on was a good thing but now she couldn't just because things have changed.

"No, I was just....not wearing anything. Problem?" Twilight said standing her ground as she took the package and the stallion started walking backwards too the door. He was extremely terrified and wanted to get out of the house as fast as he could. "who is this from, sir?" Twilight asked and he yelped.

"Its from Celestia, I would ask you too sign but, nah...no need this time, carry on" The stallion rushed out of the door as quickly as he came. Twilight frowned and looked down tossing the present hard against the ground and she groaned again.

"Really...oh what a wonderful place full of change and technological advances~!! I will send you gifts...wrapped up in a pink wrapping paper...almost identical to" Twilight teared up and brought the present close to her chest and hugged it tight as she cried on it, "Pinkie Pie~!!!" Twilight began to cough in her tears as the memory of her party loving friend quickly filled her mind and clouded it. "Oh Pinkie~!! Don't you worry....I-I won't forget you" There was a letter on the ground that read something. Twilight didn't notice it yet but it was kind of deep in words, in a form of an apology letter but explained something as well. Twilight continued to cry like a lost filly looking for her mother as she held the pink present. The letter then caught her eye and her tears slowed down. "Wha...What?" She quickly levitated it up and began to read, the letter started with the words

ITS TIME TAKE HIM WITH YOU

Twilight reached out to touche the letter with a hoof as she had it dangling in the air but then a large light flashed and something projected on the wall, it was the face of Celestia. Twilight gasped and sat down looking at the face of the mare, she looked beautiful and unchanged from the past and then she began to speak.

"Twilight! you got my letter and gift right? Well in there is something you will need, take care of him and he will take care of you...always" Celestia giggled and placed her hoof on her own head and sighed, "You will be returning to me Twilight, a pickup is tomorrow your going to be taken from Triton, I know you probably love it there by now" Celestia sounded serious and Twilight rolled her eyes, this was a recording she could tell. "Your coming back to Equestria Two....I will brief you when you get here, take care of him and he will take care of you" Celestia's face disappeared as somepony walked into the camera it went black. Twilight stood up quickly and looked at the gift, she did not notice the pony entering the camera. Looking down at the gift now she let out a long sigh and pulled off the top slowly.

"Here goes nothing...again...ugh"
