“There is no cover art," Rainbow Dash comments. “Why don‘t you put one on?”

“I have put on a blank cover," I pause for the rimshot, “does that make you happy?"

“Why don’t you just draw it yourself?" Twilight rolls her eyes, obviously unamused at the rimshot.

“I can’t draw."

“I think you should ask your fans, you know, if they want, to submit some cover art," Fluttershy asks.

“Alright, you heard her, if you can draw, why don’t you submit some cover art? I am looking for hand drawn (on paper or Microsoft Paint), but some edited pics couldn’t hu-"

“Why not that pic of me and Link, sugar cube?" Applejack interrupts.

“Because that’s my profile pic."

“I don’t see anything wrong with it," grumbles Applejack.

I grunt. “Anyway, why not submit some? It couldn’t hurt."

Rainbow Dash turned in her bed and looked out the window. The sun has been down for over an hour now! What was that light glowing out her window? She reluctantly crawled out of bed. She had been up all night preparing for the upcoming winter. And regretting the Winter Wrap up soon afterwards. Princess Celestia may change the temperature of the seasons, but Rainbow Dash, as head of the weather ponies, is in charge making sure the snow falls when it’s supposed to.

She needed rest to set up the snow clouds, and she wasn’t going to waste her energy flying when she didn’t have to. So she stuck to walking until she got underneath her window and spotted where the mysterious light was emitting from. As she pulled out her wings, pain spread along her humorous. She would not be able to fly tonight, so instead she started hoofing into the cloud below her, hoping, somehow, she would find what the mysterious light was.

Navi’s search had finally paid off! There was Link! “Hey! Listen!" she yelled at him. He turned at the sound of her voice and they started running (or flying) in slow motion towards each other. The town turned into a daisy field as they grew nearer.

That’s when everything went wrong, an earthquake happened and a trench engulfed Link. Navi flew over to attempt to save him when she awoke from her slumber. The cloud around her was shaking.

“Hey! Knock it off!" she yelled. The digging stopped.

There was a few seconds of silence. “Hello?" a surprised, timid voice responded, obviously not expecting a response. The timidness was quickly revoked, " What’s the idea with your ...," the voice was obviously looking for the right word.

Navi flew out of her cave to see a blue pony with a rainbow of colors as her mane. “Hello! I am Navi!"

“I’m ..." the pony took a step back,” I’m Rainbow Dash." Obviously this one thought she was a parasprite too and was surprised she had talked. She soon put on a tough girl act, “I thought Pinkie got rid of all of you."

Navi would have rolled her eyes, except she has no eyes, “Listen! I’m not a parasprite! I am Navi, a woodland fairy sent to protect Link of Hyrule on the death wish of the Great Deku Tree!"

“Alright," Rainbow Dash responded, forgetting she was talking to an assumed parasprite. “I don’t know anything about Link, or Hyrule, or any of that. All I know am I wanted to get some sleep. So if you wouldn’t mind turning off your...uh ... body. I would like to go to bed. I have to move in the clouds for winter tomorrow, and my wing is sore," she stretched out and started rubbing her wing.

Navi had forgotten to turn down her aurora (they can do that you know). She apologized and explained how she got there (I’m too lazy to write that, and you know it already) and demonstrated that she could tone down the light.

“Sorry to wake you, Navi. Would you like to sleep inside? As long as you turn off your light!" They both started laughing as they went inside.

Fluttershy awoke all too late. Usually it was ok if she slept in later than normal, but with the upcoming winter, she had to prepare nests and feed the hibernating creatures. Luckily the migrating birds and such had left earlier that week, but it was still a lot of work.

She rushed out of bed and started by picking the lettuce and other assorted vegetables. While she worked, she practiced her duo with Rarity she had during the song they always did while cleaning up after winter. " We wake up all their sleepy heads. So quietly and nice! " She hoped Twilight could have a solo this year.

"Winter Wrap Up! Winter Wrap Up! " She held the ’u’ in Up .

" Let’s finish our holiday cheer! " Rainbow Dash filled in. Her wings were rejuvenated from her night’s sleep, or what little sleep she got, and she was flying in the sky above the vegetable patch.

Fluttershy jumped out of surprise. “Oh, hello Rainbow Dash! How wonderful you came to help!"

“Uh, well, not exactly," Rainbow Dash rubbed her neck. “See I came to show you Navi."

Immediately after Navi flew out of Rainbow Dash‘s multicolored mane, Fluttershy screamed and zip-lined in through her door (Navi, might I add was surprised ponies could move so fast; You can‘t even see them move!). Navi heard the lock mechanism latch and sighed. “Listen! I don’t think we can convince her to come out."

“Nonsense! I'll to talk to her." Rainbow landed near the door and hoofed into it twice.

“Go away!" Fluttershy yelled, more violently than normal. Ever since she stood up to that dragon a few months earlier, she has not been quite as quiet and timid.

“Fluttershy, Navi’s not a parasprite!" Rainbow dash replied. “She’s a woodland fairy; From some other land other than Equestria."

The door unlocked and opened just enough for Fluttershy to peek through. “So, she won’t eats my garden?"

“No," Rainbow looked caringly at Fluttershy.

“Alright," Fluttershy started to open the door timidly, as if she didn’t entirely believe him, then closed it again. “Will she eat anything else?"

“No," Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes.

Fluttershy emerged from her house eying Navi suspiciously. “This one glow I guess," Fluttershy reconciled herself. Obviously, she was still suspecting Navi to be a parasprite, but, after a few minutes of chit - chat, Fluttershy had warmed up to Navi and soon had asked her to help around the yard of hungry animals.

Navi‘s job was waking up and calling the animals to be fed because Fluttershy still didn’t quite trust her around food. She definitely had the voice for it. “Hey! Listen!" she would call to them. “Time to eat!" Before long, all the animals were fed and playing in Fluttershy‘s massive yard.

Rainbow Dash had been moving in snow clouds to be all day, completely unaware of the friendship between Fluttershy and Navi. So when she arrived to take Navi back home with her, she was surprised when Fluttershy asked if Navi could stay with her over night, and maybe even help her tomorrow morning with the final hibernators.

Rainbow Dash sighed in defeat (not that she had fought), she let Fluttershy keep Navi overnight. Instead of going straight back home, she decided to go to Sugarcube Corner for a cup of milk, and maybe even make some light conversation with her favorite prankster, but she would have to talk lightly about Navi. At the mention of a parasprite, Pinkie would march over to Fluttershy‘s house with her ensemble of instruments, and do nothing but annoy Fluttershy and Navi and even the animals in the yard.

“Where’s the parasprite?" was the immediate response as soon Rainbow Dash stepped up to the counter.
