Chapter 27:

Princess Celestia says goodbye to Sunset.

Principal Celestia stood down stairs in the foyer walkway entrance as she at Twilight then to her counterpart Princess Celestia. Principal Celestia turned her gaze back to Twilight as she watched Twilight heading back upstairs she said to Twilight as she got about half way up the steps.

“Twilight I take it you have chosen to stay in this world then?”

Twilight turned around on the steps and nodded as Princess Celestia chimed in by saying to Twilight as she looked up at her student.

“Twilight remember you are to help Rainbow regain her sense of trust and hope in others nothing more. You are NOT to interfere in any way with the way this world functions or governs itself.”

Twilight nodded to the princess as well then continued to head upstairs. As she headed into the spare bedroom she took a hold of the door and shut it softly. Then went to bed. Principal Celestia looked at her counterpart then said to her.

“If you will follow me your majesty I will take you to the portal then I am sure you can find your way home from there.”

Looking at her counterpart Princess Celestia said softly as she looked down at the ground knowing this might be her only chance to say goodbye to Sunset.

“Would…..it be ok if we stop by where Sunset is burred so that I might pay my proper respects to her before I leave this world.”

Looking into the Princess’s eyes Principal Celestia said to her as gently as she could without showing her anger towards her counterpart.

“If and only if you agree to leave after that and not come back here again. I can not forgive you for not being there for Sunset when she needed you the most. Do you fully understand?”

“I fully and completely understand. I won’t stay any longer than as is needed for me to say goodbye to her.” Replied Princess Celestia to her counterpart.

The two of them headed outside and to Principal Celestia’s car. Once both Celestia’s were safely inside the car and buckled up. Principal Celestia started up the car then backed out of the driveway and headed towards the Canterlot City cemetery. Getting to the cemetery Princess Celestia got out of the car as did Principal Celestia and the two of them both walked towards Sunsets grave. Princess Celestia said to her counterpart as she stopped just before getting to Sunsets grave itself.

“May I please if you will be so kind do this without you being next to me?”

Principal Celestia looked at her counterpart then nodded as she backed away several feet. Allowing her counterpart to carry on without her standing next to her. Princess Celestia let out a soft sigh then walked up to Sunsets grave marker. Kneeling down on one knee and placing a her right hand over her heart Princess Celestia said as she lowered her head.

“Sonchi Sunset Sonchi, may you rest in peace and go to the silver stables of our ancestors with your head held up high. Knowing that the monster that took you from all of us won’t hurt anypony else again.”

Princess Celestia stood up then bowed to Sunsets grave afterwards she turned to face her counterpart saying to her gently as she wiped some tears away from her eyes.

“Thank you for allowing me to say my goodbyes to Sunset, Principal Celestia. Please tell Twilight when you are ready that is to light some torches for Sunset. They will help guide her on her journey to the afterlife. Twilight has performed this ceremony many times and knows what is needed to truly give Sunset a proper send off. Now I need to return home but, before I do I want you to know that I will do all within my power to make sure that nopony in Equestria will ever forget Sunset.”

Principal Celestia  nodded then said to her as gently as she could.

“While I can not forgive you for not being there for Sunset I will do as you have asked of me. I will talk to Twilight and permit her to light candles, for it is illegal to light actual torches in this area of the city. I hope that will be enough to surfice. Now if you are done here I need to get you the portal and from there you can find your own way home.”

“That is all that I ask again thank you for allowing me to say my goodbyes to her.” Princess Celestia replied as she started to walk away from Principal Celestia.

Principal Celestia led her counterpart to her car then opened the passenger side door for her as the princess got in Principal Celestia took one last look at Sunsets grave then got in herself. She started up the car and pulled out of the parking lot of the cemetery and headed to the school. Getting to the school she parked then got out and walked over to passenger side of the car opened the door and said to the princess as she too stepped out of the car.

“Alright this is as far as I am willing to go with you. I thank you for agreeing to do all that you can in your world to make sure that no one forgets who Sunset was. I want you gone now please do not come back here asking to see Sunsets grave again or asking me to forgive you that is something that I can not and will not do. Now please leave.”

Princess Celestia lowered her head and slowly walked towards the portal stopping just before the entrance of it. She turned around and offered a warm smile saying to her counterpart.

“I will agree to remain on the other side of the portal will you in turn allow Twilight to come here every now and then to pay her respects to Sunset?”

“Yes I will allow Twilight to do so.” Replied Principal Celestia sternly to her counterpart.

Princess Celestia lowered her head as she said to her counterpart while a single tear trickled down her cheek.

“Goodbye Principal Celestia I am sorry we had to meet under the circumstances in which we had our first meeting.”

Princess Celestia stepped through the portal and as Principal Celestia watched the portal ripple then return to normal she growled out in anger.

“Goodbye!”

Principal Celestia walked back to her car then started it up and headed home. When she got there she parked her car in the garage and headed inside. Getting up stairs she sat on her couch and took out her sister's letter to her then placed it onto the living room coffee table in front of her and said to herself as she looked at the unopened letter.

“I’ll read this tomorrow.”

Celestia got up off the couch then headed into her bedroom. Closed the door behind her got undressed then dressed herself for bed. Climbed into bed and soon fell asleep. Luna in the meantime had made her way with Chrysalis at her side to the airport. When the two of them got there Luna walked inside the airport then up to the front desk and took out a badge that Chrysalis had given her. Showing it to the clerk behind the desk she said to the clerk who looked from Luna then to Chrysalis.

“Excuse me can you tell me if a flight from Europe has been scheduled to land at this airport in the last forty eight hours?”

The clerk looked at Luna as said in a deadpan stern voice to her.

“You need a warrant for that information.”

Luna grinned as she took out from under her coat a folded up piece of paper and handed it to the clerk. The clerk took one look at it then began to type on her computer and within a minute brought up the information that Luna was looking for. Looking back at the warrant the clerk saw that Luna also needed to know who was on the incoming flight. Bringing up that information as well the clerk printed out a list of who was on the flight and who got bumped off. Luna took the paper looked at it then said to Chrysalis as she started to walk away from the desk with Chrysalis in tow.

“OK, that went better than I thought it would. If that stupid clerk had actually gotten a good look at this bagde or at the warrant itself. She would have known something was up. Alright according this paper work Amelia Dash should be on flight 447 which will arrive in just under a half hour. All we have to do is remain calm and collected then that bitch will be ours. Before I do what is absolutely needed I need to bring her to Rainbow so that Rainbow can get the answers she needs to hear from her mother. Then once Rainbow gets her answers you will take her home and thus your debt to me will be paid in full.”

Chrysalis sighed as she followed Luna to where Amelia's flight was to land Chrysalis watched as Luna walked up the gate attendant and said to him.

“FBI when this flight lands you will allow both myself and my partner to enter before any of the passengers get off the plan. Do you understand?”

The attendant nodded his head in response. A half hour went by without incident and flight 447 came in for it’s landing. Once the plan was safely at the unloading bay doors Luna and Chrysalis made their move. Getting onto the plane Luna showed her badge to the flight attendant then got her to give her the seating arrangement sheet. Looking at the paper Luna said to her friend Chrysalis as she and her made their way down the aisle of the plan.

“She is in row A - 7 by the window.”

Getting to the right row and seeing that there was only one passenger sitting in the window Luna grinned as she said to the woman.

“Amelia Dash?”

Amelia looked up in surprise as Luna said to her while holding out her badge to her.

“You are under arrest for the rape and conspiracy to commit rape of Rainbow Dash. As well as for bribing and commenting conspiracy to bribe the FBI. Stand up and place your hands behind your back.”
