Vengeance

                                                                         Chapter Four.

                                      Secrets revealed.

Fluttershy pulled into the school parking lot she looked at the clock in her car it read 7:30 A.M. She had at least a half hour before classes started. She decided to walk to the food court and get herself something to eat while she waited for the bell to ring. While at the food court she noticed Rainbow Dash sitting alone on one of the many benches that lined the outer perimeter of the food court. Rainbow was looking down at the ground waving her feet back and forth as she sat on the bench. As Fluttershy started to approach Rainbow Dash she noticed that Rainbow looked rather upset and figured it had something to do with the events of last night. Unsure as to how to help her friend and before she had a chance to ask she heard coming over the loudspeakers announcement.

“Will the following students report to the principal's office immediately, Rainbow Dash, Rarity Belle Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Fluttershy.”

The voice over the loudspeaker was firm so Fluttershy knew that there had to be something going on that the principal wanted to see her for. Unsure as to why she and all of her other friends were being called into the principal's office. Both Fluttershy and Rainbow looked at each other then left the area as quickly as they could. Once the two of them got to the office they saw that the rest of their friends had also heard the message. And were like the two of them  making their way up the walkway that led into the office. Opening the large metal orange door and walking into the room the five girls were greeted by the secretary Ms. Higener. She was a slender woman in her mid Fifties. She had charcoal smoky  grey hair, thick blue glasses and wrinkles from years of spent living life to the absolute fullest. She was not frail but she didn’t also have the strength to be putting up with a bunch of unruly students that wouldn’t pay attention to any one. Her years of teaching had left her with both many fond memories and many bad ones. She looked at the five girls and said to them as they all entered the main lobby of the office.

“Ladies take a set Ms. Dash the principal will see you alone in her office now, you may go in now.”

The three girls did as they were told they knew better than to tick off this the secretary. As they all took some chairs that were lined against a wall Rainbow Dash headed into the principal's office not sure as to what was going on. She was greeted by Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna both of whom looked at her with grim looks that clearly said something although she wasn’t sure what it was, was definitely wrong. As she entered the room Celestia sat up straight in her chair and Luna closed the door behind her. Rainbow took a seat in front of Celestia’s desk with Luna sitting just behind her taking notes on a notepad. Principal Susan looked at Rainbow with eyes of deep concern and regret a look that clearly told Rainbow that it was time to tell the others what happened to her four years ago. She home alone when a man came into her house beat her to a pulp leaving her for dead and cut a deep gash into her right upper forearm that left her unable to do the things she loved. This same man had also repeatedly raped her. Although her friends knew of the scar on her arm they had yet to find out how she actually acquired it. Now all would be revealed as would what happened to Sunset as well.

“Ms. Dash I am going to tell you something that I know you more than likely don’t want to hear. Yet I fear for Sunset’s sake you need to hear this. As you know Sunset was very brutally attacked in my home and as such is lying in a hospital bed in a coma as we speak.” Principal Celestia said to Rainbow as she looked at her with eyes that showed both anger and sadness.

“I I know your daughter was attacked Ma’am I was there at the hospital remember. I fully understand that is is hard for you yet I must know what actually happened to Sunset?” Rainbow asked as she started to rub the scar on her right arm tenderly with her left hand.

“I won’t go into full details about it, but I will at least say this, the same scar that you yourself bare on you’re arm is now going to be on my daughter's arm. As such I feel that you are the best person to help her when the time comes for that, just as we helped you…..do you remember?” Celestia said as she saw Rainbows eyes shoot wide open.

Rainbows eyes shot wide as a saucer plate and her skin went as white as snow. She knew all too well what Sunset was going to face and didn’t want to face it again. Looking at her Principal with a look of absolute terror etched onto her face she very shackley asked.

“Y….y...you...mean….h….he...is…...back?” Rainbow asked as her voice cracked from the fear she was going through after hearing the news of Sunsets attack.

“Yes he is back or at least I think he might be back. I would like it if you would tell the others what is going on so that they can all help you and they in turn can take the proper measures to protect themselves from this madman.” Celestia replied to Rainbow who looked as if she was about to scream to her.

Vice Principal Luna laid a gentle hand on her shoulder and simply nodded to her. As Luna slowly stood up and was about to open the door she stopped  when she heard Rainbow Dash say to them both very grimly.

“I don’t give a rat's ass about how either of you two feel! What happened to me is NO! one's business yet that of my own! You can either deal with that fact or not deal with it. I don’t care which you choose to do. But let me be very clear on this subject IF and WHEN I feel the need to tell some one as to what happened to me then that is my choice not yours! Neither of you have a right to decide this for me.”

“I fully understand ho” Principal Celestia started to say but, was cut off when Rainbow scream out to her.

“HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME!” Rainbow screamed as she looked at her Principal with daggers seething from her eyes.

“Rainbow please we both my sister and I thought that if you told your friends what happened to you then it might help you. As well as it might help them to watch over you.” Celestia said as she looked at Rainbow then over at her sister.

“YOU WERE NOT RAPED BY THAT MANIAC! YOU WERE NOT HELD DOWN AS HE PULLED YOUR CLOTHING OFF YOUR BODY AND REPEATEDLY ASSAULTED YOU. YOU WERE NOT THE ONE THAT HAD TO LIVE KNOWING THAT THE POLICE DID NOTHING ABOUT THIS! SO DON’T YOU FUCKING TELL ME OR EVEN TRY TO FUCKING TELL ME THAT YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH YOU FUCKING BITCH!” Rainbow spat back at her principal who looked at her with a raised eyebrow from the sudden outburst.

Upon realizing what she had just shouted at her Principal she raised a hand over her mouth in shock. Turning to run out of the room as tears started to swell underneath her eyes she was stopped suddenly when she saw all four of her friends standing in the doorway. Each of them looking very concerned and more shocked as to what they had just heard. Here was a beautiful sixteen year old girl that they all loved very much. Now screaming out her deepest darkest secrets to her Principal and there was little they could actually do about it. Rainbow slowly reclined and slumped back into her chair with her face fully buried in her hands sobbing. Applejack was the first to enter the office she knelt down and laid a very reassuring hand on Rainbows leg and glared at the Principal saying grimly.

“Is it true? Was what we all just now heard true?” Applejack said as she looked at Celestia then at Vice Principal Luna.

“Yes….it is all true, both Rainbow Dash and my daughter Sunset were more than likely…..raped by the same man” Celestia said as she sat in her chair looking at Applejack then at Rainbow who was crying in her own chair.

“And you and the police have done nothing about this why?!” Demanded Rarity as she entered the room and laid a hand on to Rainbow's shoulder.

“Don’t be absurd we have done all that we can for her. My daughter took your friend in and practically raised her herself after Maya Lang was killed in a car crash.” Replied Principal Celestia with a grim tone to her voice.

“So from what you have just told us, Rainbow was raised by your daughter Sunset and by you which means you knew what seeing her at the hospital would do to her didn’t you?” Pinkie asked as she too went to Rainbows side laying a hand on her shoulder as well.

Rarity looked at Rainbow then at both Celestia and Luna before turning back to Rainbow saying to her as she watched her friend cry in front of her.

“Darling If I had known what happened to you I NEVER would have yelled at you like I did in the hospital lobby yesterday. I am so, so very sorry for my behavior towards you. Darling can you forgive me for what I said to you?” Rarity said as she laid her hands onto Rainbows shoulders pulling Rainbow into a tight hug.

returned the gesture and embraced Niki with a full hug of her own crying.

“Yes I can forgive you Rarity. None of you had any way to know what I was really going through that day. You see when I got that call  from Luna and was told that Sunset was in the hospital. What I first thought of did this happen to Sunset?” Rainbow said as tears ran down her cheeks.

The rest of her friends all joined Rainbow and Rarity in the hug and Rainbow felt a warmth that had long since been dead inside her. The warmth begin to grow into something that Rainbow wasn’t sure what it would or even could be but she knew that she liked. Returning to her set wiping away the rest of her tears she said only three words as she looked at her principal with eyes of both anger and sadness.

“It is time” Rainbow said to her friends and principal as she heard Fluttershy say to her.

“Rainbow you don’t have to really tell us if you don’t want to that is.” Fluttershy said as she stared at her her principal with a deep sadness in her eyes.

Rainbow sat across from her Principal who she had spat words of hate and anger at. Her the woman whose daughter helped her come out of her shell when she felt so alone in the world. Now was the time to let out all the pent up anger and rage and fully disclose what happened to her four years ago. She thought to herself as she was about to tell them what happened that night.

“can they really handle what happened to me? Are they really going to be my friends after I tell them?” Rainbow thought to herself.

As Rainbow started to recall how she got her scar and how she was brutally raped and left for dead. Rainbow ended her friends loving embrace when she and her friends all heard Vice Principal Luna say to them all.

“Alright let’s give her some breathing room and let her tell you all what happened that day.” Luna said as she looked at Rainbow then at the rest of her friends.

Each of her friends took a seat around her as Rainow began to speak to each of them. While speaking to each of them. Rainbow slowly unbuttoned the right sleeve of her shirt then raised her arm up so that each of her friends in turn could see what was done to her arm. On her arm just about a half inch from the wrist and about two inches from the joint that connects the elbow to the forearm. There was the MOST hideous looking scar that any one of her friends had ever seen. The scar itself looked like it was carved into her skin with a broken bottle. The skin that made up the scar was knotted and deeply contorted as if someone had poured acid onto her arm. Were there should have been blue soft  colored skin there was in fact dead red and pink scar tissue. The tissue had been deeply laden with bumps and well showing of the stitches used to put her arm back together.

“I want you all to have a good look at this, I want you all to see what I have to live with every day of my life. When I go to bed, When I get up in the morning, When ever I do anything I am forever reminded of what that animal took from me and what he left me with.” Rainbow said as she held her arm up in front of her face so that all of her friends could see it clearly.

Fluttershy swallowed hard, Rarity placed a hand over her mouth as if to stop her self from retching then and there. Applejack sat there not able to take her eyes off the awful sight that her eyes were drinking in. Pinkie sat there like a deer in headlights as she gazed at Rainbows scare fully coming to understand how her friend had gotten it. All in all her friends reacted pretty much as Rainbow thought they might when they came to understand how she the scar on her right arm. Her friends had all seen it before but never as closely as this nor had they actually known until now how she actually got it.
