Vengeance

Chapter Nine:

Quality time together and getting the worst call ever.

It took less than ten minutes to get to Rainbow’s home from the ice cream parlor. As Luna started to pull into Rainbows driveway Fluttershy was just getting her seat belt off. When she heard Luna say to her.

“Uh, where do you think you’re going Fluttershy?” Luna asked as she looked over at her as Fluttershy got out of the van.

“I am going with Rainbow I will be spending some time with her tonight.” Replied Fluttershy with a warm smile and slight blush on her face.

“What about your car back at school? You know it can’t stay there for more than one night before we have it towed.” Luna said with a raised eyebrow.

“I can pick it up in the morning right now I want to spend some time with Rainbow.” Fluttershy Replied as she helped Rainbow out of the van then looked at her who in turn looked back at her with a sheepish grin on her face.

Luna looked at Fluttershy who ignored her for a few minutes while Rainbow closed the door to the van. Luna chewed on her lower lip for a second then said to Rainbow as she was about to back up and head out of the driveway towards Applejack's home.

“Rainbow please call me when you want me to come pick her up. You two spend as much time as you want with each other today.” Luna said as Rainbow smiled at Fluttershy then replied to Luna.

“I will, come on Flutters let's see if we can get something to eat then we can relax while watching a movie.” Rainbow said with a happy grin on her face.

Fluttershy smiled and took Rainbow by her arm then headed into the house while Rainbow was walking beside her holding onto her arm. As the both got inside the house Rainbow asked Fluttershy.

“What do you want do first get something to eat or watch a movie Flutters? There is I think pizza in the freezer, leftover tuna casserole in the….” Fluttershy cut Rainbow off in mid sentence when she shoved Rainbow against a wall and pressed her lips against hers.

Realizing her question had just been answered Rainbow followed suit and and returned the kiss by pulling Fluttershy into her tightly. When the kiss ended both Rainbow and Fluttershy headed up stairs. Walking up the stairs that led into the living room Fluttershy headed to the couch with Rainbow in tow. Rainbow sat down as did Fluttershy who then turned to face Rainbow saying to her.

“Honey I love you very much. I hope you know that, and after what you told us today I want you to know that I will not ever abandon you.” Fluttershy said as she lend into Rainbow gently kissing her on the lips.

Rainbow and Fluttershy both fell back onto the left arm of the couch as they started to embrace each other passionately. As Rainbow felt Fluttershy slowly working her way down to her stomach. Rainbow said to Fluttershy just as Fluttershy lifted up her shirt.

“Flutters I love you.”

Blushing at this Fluttershy began to grin widely as she slipped her hands under Rainbows shirt and up towards her breast. Fluttershy felt Rainbow wrap her arms around her as she and Rainbow both fell back to the other side of the couch. “I wish I told Sunset how much I appreciated her helping me to stay on the straight and narrow now I might not get that chance.”

Fluttershy and Rainbow both dried off then headed back to the living room. Fluttershy sat down on the couch and Rainbow headed into the kitchen to make some snacks for them. When she came back about ten minutes later she was pushing with her left hand a wheeled cart that had chips, soda and dip on it. This she placed next to the couch then picked up the remote and clicked on the TV. Turning to the movie channel Rainbow selected a children's style nature program knowing that Fluttershy didn’t like horror movies or science fiction movies. Settling back into the couch she and Fluttershy both began to relax while watching the program on Rainbows TV. Until Rainbows phone rang. Getting up off the couch Rainbow walked into kitchen to answer the phone. When Rainbow answered the phone she had a look of pain and anger flash over her face as she dropped it. Rainbow slid down with her back against the back Kitchen wall as she started to cry. Fluttershy got off the couch then went to her girl friends side hugging her as asked her.

“Honey what’s wrong?”

Rainbow was only able to say to words as she cried into Fluttershy's arms.

“It’s Sunset.”

Rainbow and Fluttershy remained on the kitchen floor for over an hour as Rainbow cried into her girlfriend's arms. Fluttershy ran her fingers gently into Rainbows hair while trying to sooth her distraught girlfriend. While Rainbow cried into Fluttershy’s arms Fluttershy reached over picked up the phone and looked at the caller I.D. tag on the phone's screen. Seeing who it was that had just called Fluttershy set the phone back down as she hugged Rainbow tightly in her arms. Rainbow’s body shook from the tears and sadness that she was letting out. Fluttershy held Rainbow tighter and tighter in her arms while Rainbow sobbed.
