This is a work in progress, And I'm sort of debating whether I should continue writing, or if I should scrap it and move on please let me know what you think. Ponies don't appear until the end of the chapter... yeah.

"Are zee preparations for zee doctor's appearance ready"? Heimric looked frazzled. Today was a big day.

"Relax Heimric", Dolf replied, "ve've done all that ve can do, all zat's left is to pray zat ze doctor is in einz good mood".

The two scientists were nervous. For the past six months, they had lead a team of scientists in a secret project designed and commissioned by the infamous Wolfgang Vanstraussenberger.

"I know ve've done all ve can do", Heimric replied, "I just hopes ze machine vorks".

"And I ze same. I know if everysing doesn't go according to plan, ve both vill be vishing ve vere on ze eastern front fighting Soviets".

Heimric surveyed the twilight horizon; the Egyptian desert looked colder at night, but it was still easily forty degrees Celsius. The stars started to poke through the sky as night quickly descended-- all looked still. Suddenly, a glint of light appeared on the horizon. The two scientists scrambled for a pair of binoculars. Heimric won the toss up and quickly peered through the magnifying lenses. He studied the object in the distance, then slowly held up the binoculars for Dolf.

"It's him" Heimric said coldly.

Dolf grabbed the binoculars and stared in the direction of the slowly growing glint of light. It was a division of Panzer tanks approaching the facility.

In minutes, the tanks arrived and both Dolf and Heimric stood frozen waiting to greet the doctor. Terror ran through Heimric's mind as his brain recalled stories of the doctors cruelty. Neither Heimric nor Dolf had ever met the admiral face to face --  all they knew about the doctor were stories, and some rather disturbing mission logs that seemed too unreal to be fact. What was for sure known to the two scientists was that the admiral was in command of a special class of Untersea boats -- what they did however was classified. But that was when the doctor was at sea -- on land, the doctor was most famously known as a brilliant inventor; creating weapons and devices that seemed to defy the laws of physics. As a result, the Fuhrer gave the doctor the resources to create and explore whatever he so pleased, however he pleased. And that's what brought Dolf and Heimric to the middle of Egypt.

Without warning, a hatch on one of the tanks clanged open. Dolf flinched at the sound and the color drained from his face. A dark figure in a trench coat rose from the hole and hopped on to the sand -- it was the doctor. Dolf and Heimric were both taken aback by the doctors appearance. The doctor was young, he couldn't have been older than seventeen. The demon doctor, was a child. The doctor started in the direction of the two scientists. Heimric nervously started to greet the doctor but was cut off.

The doctor spoke, "Don't vaste my time vith petty introductions", he hissed "vere is my machine"?

"Ah yes" Dolf said, "Right zis vay doctor"

The scientists and the doctor crossed the threshold of the laboratory and continued down a white hallway. They continued down a number of corridors and arrived into a large room. In the center was a large metal hoop surrounded by large wires and scientists manning control terminals. "My machine" the doctor said menacingly. The doctor stepped up to the master control terminal. He grabbed the microphone by the terminal and started to speak. "Good day", he started, "today ve vitness a feat of scientific genius, the likes of vich vill propel my name into ze ranks of history, surpassing even Jesus himself". Zis man is insane, Heimric thought to himself. The doctor went on "zis machine vill open an inter-dimensional portal, vere it leads us... I don't know, howvever, vat I do know is zat vhatever is on ze ozer side vill help us vin ze var, and ze sird Reich vill last forever". The doctor grabbed a lever on one end of the terminal and started to push it forward -- "Let us begin" he muttered under his breath. The lights started to flicker as the machine powered up.  The machine started to increase power and bolts of electricity started to flash throughout the room. One of the bolts struck a scientist on a balcony and he collapsed -- Heimric shouted over the noise of the machine, "Doctor, zis is getting dangerous, ve need to abandon the..."

"NEIN" ,The doctor cut him off, "only ze strong deserve to live and be remembered, zat is evolution".

The lights had completely gone out by now, and the terminals were starting to shake. The other scientists started to panic, "Doctor!", Dolf started, "Ve must abort before ze whole machine explodes". Dolf reached for the controls only to meet the fist of the doctor.

"If you touch zis machine, you vill be court marshaled!", he barked.

Suddenly the shaking, and the electricity stopped, Heimric looked at the hoop in the center of the room and gaped. "I am a genius" the doctor said. The center of the hoop was holding a glowing wall of blue light; the machine had worked. The doctor abandoned any sense of danger and started making his way to the portal.

"I can't believe it vorked", Dolf said dumbfounded.

"Of course it vorked", the Doctor snapped back.

Everyone stood dumbfounded looking at the portal, everyone except the doctor of course who had an evil smirk on his face. "I have transcended God" he laughed to himself. Suddenly, there was a rumble and red emergency lights started flashing -- Dolf ran for an intercom, "Vat is going on?", he said.

"Ve are under attack, it's ze English, zey are", the voice was replaced with gunshots and then static. "Vat are ve going to do?" Heimric said helplessly.

"Ve fight" the doctor replied.

The doctor straightened his officers hat, and pulled back his trench coat, revealing what looked like two guns on his belt -- Dolf and Heimric had never seen anything like these before -- they must have been an invention the doctor saved for himself.

A minute passed, and a platoon of British soldiers started pouring down the hallway. The doctor drew a gun from his belt and started firing red bolts toward the British soldiers. The bolts exploded on impact and several soldiers were blown back by the blast. The blast had started a fire and smoke started to fill the hallway hindering visibility. The doctor glared at the black mist looking for any signs of movements. Suddenly, A rocket broke through the smoke in the hallway and exploded a few meters from the main control terminal. The blast blew the doctor back, launching him through the portal. The doctor was engulfed in blue light, and his skin started to burn as he tumbled through the dimensional rift. He reeled in pain as his trench coat fused with his skin and his arms and legs twisted and spun. The pain was so great that the doctor was about to give up hope of survival and black out -- but then like it had begun, the pain stopped, and he felt himself fall to the ground with a thud. He opened his eyes and saw that he was in a grassy meadow. He reached up to rub eyes as they tried to focus to the change in light. He soon saw that his hands were gone, and had been replaced with hooves. The doctor screamed, and he tried to stand but quickly stumbled and collapsed. He backed up against a tree, breathing heavily and looked around -- when he saw nothing, he tried to calm himself. "It's alright volfgang... ve vill figure zis out". Suddenly, a twig snapped behind him and the doctor froze. He turned to peer around the tree, but saw nothing. The doctor let out a sigh of relief "it's only my imagination". Just then, a blur of pink flashed out the corner of his eye, and the doctor turned to face whatever it was. When his vision focused he was staring into the face of a blue eyed horse with poofy cotton candy pink hair.

"Hi I'm Pinkie Pie!" the creature said.

With that, the doctor fell back, unconscious.
