After unpacking their bags Shining Armor fell asleep from the long flight and the sleepless night Cadence was taken. Now Aks on the other hand was in the elevator heading down to the club. Aks did change his suit, though it was almost exactly like the other one, except this one had a black tie.

Once the elevator reached the basement floor the doors opened to a washing room, there were various employs of the hotel washing assorted cloths and sheets. He walked past all of them, none of them looked at him nor did he look at any of them.

Once he got to the end of the washing machines and turned left to a small corridor which had a strong iron door at the end. He walked to it and inserted a gold coin into the slot. He waited for a minute until a part of the wall slid open to reveal a pair of eyes under iron bars, the wall closed again and the door opened.

Aks walked in, the club was very hot, I mean there was heavy dubstep in the background along with tons of little lasers. There were tables on the sides and a giant dance floor was in the center, there was a lot of people dancing and almost all of the tables were taken.

Aks walked up to the bar, and a girl turned to him so she could take his order, she was a shorter Asian girl with bright pink hair wearing a nice dress. She instantly recognized him, she said in a very cute and high pitched voice.

"Oh hey Aks, it's been a long time, how are things?"

"They were going great, retirement was very nice, though something has come up forcing me to go back to work, I already killed 20 something people. I need a Dr. Pepper with two cherries in it."

"Odd request, but alright, I'm surprised you didn't order a real drink."

"Heh, I just felt like something that wouldn't get me drunk, I already woke up with a hangover once today. I don't need another."

"Alright, that'll be twelve dollars." He gave her the cash and she gave him the drink, "Oh I almost forgot to tell you, Amy is at table 12."

"Wait, Amy?!"

"Yes."

"H-How? I need to talk to her now, give me a shot of tequila, NOW."

"Alright, this one's on the house."

He took the shot and drank it, he staggered a bit, then said, "Alright, I'm ready to talk to her."

"Wait, one question."

"What is it?" Asked Aks.

"Are you coming out of retirement?"

"I'll tell you once I've decided." He walked away from her and to the table with Amy.

Amy was blond and white, she had on a dark red dress and was looking quite stressed, he asked, "Is this seat taken?" She looked up at him with bright blue eyes, she just stared at him.

"A-Aks?"

"That's right, I think we need to talk." He sat down in the chair on the other side of the table, she asked in a nervous voice.

"W-W-What are you doing here? I thought you retired."

"Well, something has drove me back in this world one last time, now, tell me why you disappeared after our last mission?"

"Well, you know how they made us get naked and to make sure we didn't have anything, and forced us into a cell for two weeks?"

"Ya, we... Explored each other quite a bit, I thought we could of been something, why after 9 months you send me a letter saying I would never see you again?"

"Well, because I have a new life, and because you have a son." He just stared at her, all he could say was.

"I-I-I hav-v-ve a s-s-s-son?" She nodded, "Oh my fucking god! I'm a father, but I... I think I need a drink or two. How old is he?"

"He's 3."

"And is that a wedding ring?"

"Yes, Walter and I meet at the supermarket, I was getting some eggs and we bumped into each other, we got married shortly after I had Aks. Jr."

"So you even gave him my name, well it is a very cool name so I'll give you that. Can I see him?"

"Walter doesn't want him to meet his ex assassin Dad with a minor alcohol addiction, it would send the wrong message, he can't even know I was an assassin too."

"I just have one more question, then I'll leave you alone."

"What is it?"

"Does he make you happy?"

"Yes, he is a great father and an even better husband, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, and I'm so sorry you can't see him."

"I'll go now, I hope you have a great life with Aks. Jr, and I hope he becomes a better man then me." Aks got up and started to walk away, until she shouted.

"Wait!" He turned around, "He has your eyes." Aks turns back around and headed out of the club.

Aks opens the door to his suite and sees Shining Armor walking out of the bathroom with a bath towel, since Equestrians don't wear cloths usually, Aks just waved it off. He sat down on the bed and sighed, he grabbed the champagne and a glass, he filled the glass up and placed the champagne bottle back in the ice.

He was just sitting there, staring out of the window, he took a sip of the champagne and sighed. Shining Armor took notice and sat down next to him.

Ask didn't look at him nor nothing, he just asked, "Shining, how is it being a father?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Just answer the fucking question."

"Okay, it's absolutely great, I love it so much, I wouldn't give it up for the world."

"How would you take just figuring out that Cadence had Flurry Heart without you and is married to another stallion?"

"I would be heart broken, and a bit pissed off, though why are you asking me this?"

"Well, in my line of work you occasionally meet a girl, well after being put into a cell together for two weeks will make you fall in love and, well, do it."

"I think I'm starting to see it."

"After we broke out we went our separate ways, all I got was a letter after 9 months saying I would never see her again. Well, I just saw her in the club. And, and. I have a son."

"What?"

"I-I have a son, I have a son, and I'm not allowed to ever see him."

"Why?"

"Walter, her new husband and Aks. Jr's great dad doesn't want him to follow the road I did. I accept that and I'm willing to keep my distance, though I just can't help to think what kind of life I could have had, I could have been there for him, I should have been his dad. Sharing his first moments, his first walk, his first words, all the way to him going to college and becoming a great and successful person.

I missed all of that, I lost a life, a life of peace and love. She took it from me and gave it to some guy named Walter. Hell, even his name says boring dad." A tear starts to run down his cheek.

"Ouch, I can tell you need some time to think, so I'll leave you alone for a while, maybe raid the cafe next door."

"Okay, just don't talk to anybody."

"Hey, it's not your fault, just don't beat yourself up to much." Aks looked down and said.

"Alright. Get me something will ya?"

"Sure." He takes the towel off and walks out of the room. Aks says to himself, "I would have been a great dad."

Author's Note

Now that we got most of the drama out of the way we can go to the chapter with a crap ton of action. luckily Pinkie is nowhere to be seen, I hope she doesn't hurt me, though having this shotgun at my side won't hurt... me anyway.
