Issues in Augmentaion

BZZZT BZZZT.....BZZZT BZZZT.....BZZ- "Ok ok!" Applejack groaned, rolling over and picking up her phone, squinting as the bright light of the screen hit her face in the dark room, placing the phone to her ear and sitting up in bed, slowly rest her orange back against the headboard. "Y-yeah boss...? ....Are you serious? Again?? Ugh...Boss, those cells need reinforcing to accomodate Augs...Alright alright, we'll get on it." She groaned, ending the call and setting it down on the bedside table, stretching her arms "Come on now Rainbow, he got out again...." She said, patting the thigh of her lover next to her.

"What? Again?? This is the 5th time in two months..." The blue mare groaned, squirming under the covers. "Do we have to?"

"If we wanna get paid, then yes." The orange mare chuckled, standing up slowly and stretching once more, her back clicking. "Aah...." She slowly flipped the light on, eliciting a loud groan from Dash, diving under the covers

"Aj!! A little warning next time please!" The blue mare whined, applejack smirking as she pulled some underwear out from her bedside draw, getting dressed.

"Yeah yeah, come on Iron Pony. Get that blue ass of yours out of bed and get dressed." She chuckled, pulling on her black pant's and dark blue jacket, Dash slowly getting out of bed and getting dressed as well. Tying her shoe laces, both of them clasping their bullet proof vests and pads on, slipping their handguns onto their hips.

"Applejack...He is just a petty criminal, it is 2AM in the morning...Can't they get someone else to do this?" The blue mare muttered as she hugged the post farm pony from behind, lightly kissing her neck.

"No Dash, with all the Riots going on right now, most of the force are busy dealing with that. Come on, it won't take us long to get him back in custody, it never does." She chuckled, kissing the pegasus back lovingly. "We just catch him, then we can come back and spend the rest of the night together ok?" She smiled softly, the blue mare nodding in agreement as they left the apartment, locking the door and getting into their car on the street.

"Do we know his location?" Dash asked as she stretched, sitting in the passenger seat, neon lights shining through the windshield as they drove, Applejack looking at her phone in its holder.

"Yeah, apparently he is holed up in an old warehouse on 52nd street. It's an old storage building..." She replied as she drove, tapping her phone screen, causing a small blue hologram to be projected from the screen. "According to the Schematics the boss sent me...there are two ways to go once we enter, upstairs and downstairs, you take downstairs, I'll head upstairs ok?"

"Got it." Rainbow nodded as the car slowly came to a halt, the two mare's stepping out of the police cruiser, pulling out their handguns and running to the door, bracing on each side of the door. Rainbow Dash slowly turned the door knob, pushing the door two and looking into the darkness, flicking on the flashlight under her gun, shining it into the pitch blackness. "......Very welcoming place isn't it?" The pegasus asked, looking inside, slowly moving in, Applejack staying right on her rear. As they entered they slowly scanned the room with their flashlights, cobwebs and dust everywhere along the walls and piping, Applejack found her staircase by sheer luck, stumbling onto it.

"F-fuck...it's really dark...Ok, you check downstairs, I'll check up here. I didn't expect it to be anywhere near as dark as this, so just be careful ok Blue?" She said, her voice a little shaky as she looked back at Rainbow, shining her light at her so she could actually see her.

"Sure thing, you be careful as well Farm Girl." She smirked, chuckling as she turned away, slowly making her way through a door to start sweeping the building, Applejack slowly ascending the staircase, keeping her gun raised as she walked through the pitch black corridor, scanning around it with her flashlight.

"Fucking great idea this was..." She muttered to herself, approaching a door and trying to open it, the door rattling against the frame. She slowly placed her ear to the door and listened, a quiet voice being heard on the other side. She quickly slammed her foot against the door and shattered it from it's hinges with her powerful legs, running in with her gun ready. "Freeze!!" She said, looking around, there was no one there, instead, on her left was a laptop with a brown stallion with a blue mane on the screen.

"Hello Applejack." He smirked "How nice of you to join me, shame it was for nothing" He chuckled.

"Azor." She sighed. "Seriously? We have caught you four times so far, why give us the run around huh? All you are doing is wasting time, we both know you'll be behind bars by the morning." She chuckled.

"Yes, that is how it used to be, but not anymore. It's time to stop playing with you all... This building is lined with explosives, and is about to go up in smoke right now." He smirked

"Yeah yeah Azor, you tried this las-!" She cut herself off as her eyes widen, seeing a red light start blinking under the table.

"Sorry Applejack, but this is where we say goodbye...To you, and your little Rainbow." He laughed, Applejack's eyes widening more.

"RAINB-!" She was cut off as she crossed her arms over her chest, hit full force of a blast as the room filled with flames, sending the orange mare sailing out the window, falling, as she did the world seemed to slow down, her body burned and bleeding, as she fell only one word left her lips... "Dash...." She gasped out as her body crashed into the roof of her police cruiser.
