I spun my cane as I flew threw the Galaxy. I had just visited one of my old friends, you'll never GUESS who!!!~
Galaxia!!!
Oh, she was such fun to toy with, after I had escaped those pesky pines twins. Sometimes, I need a break from them. Just so... pesky! But, I could solve them another time.
What is this? Something odd is occurring on a planet nearby-- Oh. Just, ewww...
… It is happening on Earth, where those pesky pony twins live. To be honest, I really did not want to have to deal with that planet, but, this circumstance was... different. You'll see.
In the distance, two balls of energy swam through space, and its sky, as if they were in water. One was a golden light, which I have to admit, truly liked. The other, a blue nova, which seemed to emmit... a deep sadness, which was fairly different from normal magic. These magics, were colliding as much as they could, as if in a battle for dominance.
Well, you know me! I am NOT, one to miss a light show! And so, I set up a beach chair, and umbrella, on the nearest barren rock I could find, just to watch the show! Apparently, it was some weird thing called the 'Moon'. I really did not care about its name, I only wished to see what in the buck, was going on!
The energies continued to clash, and soon, it all surged downwards towards the planet, and to a puny little spot that I truly despised...
Equestria, the home of those 2 annoying BRATS!!! I swear, if I was allowed to bring down that entire little mound of dirt, I would, in an INSTANT! But, back to the story... I really need to stop getting sidetracked.
I continued to watch, but, it seemed as if the struggle was over. No more power inferno's, no more light shows. It had all, stopped. And I am not exaggerating. It was as if the entire universe, had froze, waiting for something to occur. But, when I look back, I realize it HAD, froze. All of creation, had stopped, if only for a moment.
I was the only one that could tell why.
It occurred in an instant... surge of magical energies, all over the planet, and not just that. The moon I was on seemed to... discharge, energy as well. In fact, everything I felt, all of magic's existence, seemed to be sucked, directly into one spot. Now this, was extraordinary, unlike anything I had ever felt before. Even my power, quivered and seemed to be snuffed out like a candle, as it was pulled to that direct spot, exactly where the energies had landed.
The next thing I knew, all of that energy was released... and went straight at me. All I could do, was scream and teleport out of its way... I mean, laugh it off, and teleport out of its way! Yes! Completely normal! No, I am not normal... Oh, these memories are STRANGE!
The large inferno of energy slammed into the moons surface, and instantly, the surface began to darken, and the mood switched very quickly. I knew that space is silent, and tends to be gloomy, even terrifying, but, this was different. All happiness, and any good emotions whatsoever, was obliterated, as the ground beneath my feet emanated pure, utter... Well, sadness. Sadness, regret, and remorse. That, is only what normal people could see.
My eye began to glow, examining the area where the inferno hit, as I expected nothing too big. All I expected, was a crater, with magical residue. Instead, I saw... chains. Golden chains, with an added rainbow of colors, like a prism, glistening, as they were wrapped tight around the planet. I recognized these spells, as entrapment spells. Something had been sealed away, inside this moon.
I bent down, sighing, as I removed a glove, staring at the ground. I knew this would feel odd, but I had to do it. I had to know, what kind of energy, is inside this place. I pushed my hand to the surface...
"Jesus bucking Galaxia!!!" I yelped, pulling my hand back quickly, glove reappearing. I had felt the magic inside this rock. The essence, of the thing, in here. It, was evil. Pure, evil. It was a conglomerate of sadness, regret, hatred, and anger. And, of course, evil.
I, fucking loved it!
I had to meet whatever it was, inside this planet. But, to do that, I would need to use an extremely large amount of energy. This would weaken me, and cost me a lot of time.
"I am immortal, I don't CARE, about time!" I said, as I got to work. I was going to try, to release it!

It was a mere couple hours, I believe, before I was finally able to do it. These bindings were layered, much like a chain link fence. With them all together, it would be fairly difficult to do anything to the bindings. So, I did what I had to. A quick energetic rot spell, combined with magical cancellation runes, and a few other technical idea's, and a binding began to go from a prismatic shine, to a darkening grey.
"Heheheheheh... Let us see, what you are!" I said, as I spun my jet black, ancient wood cane. The moment it aimed at the chains, I snapped 2 fingers holding it, so a blast of blue flame was sent down, and crashed into the greyed chain.
*Crrr… Crrrrr… CRACK! SNAP*
Suddenly, part of the chain cracked, and then, the entire thing snapped! The grey matter broke apart, like a shattered mirror, and dissolved, the magic now gone, from that chain.
Then?
Nothing. Nothing at all. It was as if nothing had changed, at all.
“Was that it..?” I said, confused. At that moment, the rock around me began to rumble, and a dark, shadowy smoke began to seep from the rocks around me. Cracks formed in the ground, as more and more leaked. Soon, there was enough smoke to block out the sun for the entire earth, and the shadow smoke was swirling around in a circle, like a tornado.
A dark, feminine cackle exploded through the air, coming from this tornado. My eyes widened as the smoke began to compress, soon turning into…
A mare.
This is going to be interesting…

Hello everyone! This is the one and only Pumpkin, the author of this story! I would like to say a couple things before you move onto the next chapter, so listen!!!
1 - I've shipped this since I roleplayed as Bill in a Roblox game called 'MLP 2D RP', and when I picture bill and nightmare moon, it makes sense, and it looks adorable in my head... So, as we all say...
She stood just a bit taller than me, at least at the moment. She sported an incredible jet-back fur, that made her seem to blend in with the darkness of space!. She had a horn, and beautiful black wings. She also sported what looked to be pure Moon Stone armor, which covered most of her body.
The second I saw her, I felt a blush rush to my face. I want her to become mi--- Wait, no. Get a hold of yourself, Cipher!
“”Who was the... THING, to release me from my prison..?” this mare said, in a commanding tone. So authoritative, I was impressed.
“I released you from your prison…” I said, flying back down to the ground, and taking strides toward her. I felt nervous the entire time I walked closer to her, and yet I do not know why. I could EASILY, fight this female, and win, so why was I nervous? She looked me over as I got closer, and to keep my nerves, I stopped directly in front of her.
“Hmmm..? What is your name, sir..?” she asked, curiously, cocking her head to the side. She seemed very interested about me, and I knew why. On her planet, Equis, they were said to be no alicorns left except two. Luna and Celestia. I knew this mare was Luna, her magic confirmed it.
“First, tell me yours…” I replied. She scowled at me for a moment, but replied.
“I am Queen Nightmare Moon, Ruler of the Night...” She replied, smirking.
"Interesting name... truly spooky!" I sang out, chuckling to myself. She seemed to smile as well, only for a moment. After that, her face became a serious, angry look, that was so powerful, it could probably kill any normal person that received it.
“It does have a good ring to it… Now, answer my first question!” Nightmare moon screeched in her Canterlot voice. Normally, that voice could make any pony flinch. Not me. Even if, the force of that voice tried to throw me off the damn moons surface.
“The names Bill Cipher, also known as the Dream Demon Prince.” I said. As I told her this, I tipped my hat, and the moment I did this, the ground slanted, as if all of reality was connected to it. Rocks tumbled, rolling away, as she did too. Her eyes were wide, seeming surprised. I quickly put the hat back on my head, as reality returned to normal slantitude.
Slantitude? Is that a word? I really do not know.
“What the--- You are a powerful being…" she replied quickly, trying to get a good footing, as if scared that I would tip my hat, and send her tumbling away, forever into space. "I give you my gratitude for releasing me. Now, if you may excuse me, I have a kingdom to darken...” Nightmare moon said, as her wings expanded, showing off their color, and span. She flapped them once, throwing her upward, as she quickly zoomed away, aiming towards the planet.
It was at this moment I realized, I forgot to warn her…
“Wait, I forgot to tell you about the---” I tried to say before it happened, but, it was too late.
*WAAAM*
The moment she had flown a good distance away, she hit something, as a gigantic... Bubble, seemed to reveal itself, around the moon. That, was one of the flaws of only releasing PART, of a binding spell! It only releases, PART, of what is trapped. Very tricky things, binding spells.
She plunged downwards, towards the rocky surface. Things became hazy at this point, I can honestly, barely remember what happened.
All I remember, was everything going red. My wings flapping. Then? She was in my arms, in an instant. All I felt, was happiness, holding her in my arms. Such a... new concept, for me. Happiness. Normally, whenever I had happiness, it went horribly wrong, very quickly afterwards.
I floated myself back down to where we had been talking, and looked around, noticing there was no where that was... fit, for her to be. She snored loudly, having been knocked out by the impact of it all. And so, I summoned a chair, a cooler, and a couple other things. I was a godly being, I wanted to be comfortable. I wanted, HER, to be comfortable.
There's that odd emotion again! What, IS that?
This is so... so...

I sat in the chair next to hers, her breathing quiet and gentle. I had sunglasses on, as I found after awhile, the completely white, and grey surface of the moon was a bit, annoying. I sighed, looking back down at the book I had. Well, I was kinda reading a book that I had made myself…
Long ago, I decided to make a journal of my own, after learning of the journals kept by old six fingers. This journal was something I used to keep track of my life, and maybe someday sell it to see how popular it could get. Well, thats a lie. In reality, it was just that first option. Being so old, crammed the mind with so many memories, some painful, some different, and I tended to lose track of the older ones. This book, helped.
I had just finished reading over some of my really old, enjoyable memories, when I decided to stop, just to be able to look over at the sleeping Nightmare moon. She didn’t have her Armor on anymore, since it all shattered from the impact of the shield and her face. I had wrapped some bandages around her head, so then her small head injury would heal. I then snapped my fingers, a beach umbrella appearing so it covered the queen. Based on her fur, she liked darkness. Deciding that she was thoroughly taken care of, I reached into a coat pocket, and pulled out a metal thing…
*groan of pain*
“Uuuhhhggg… Wait, what... What a-are you doing..?” Nightmare moon said, confused, when she looked at me. I smirked back at her.
“”What, haven’t you ever seen a yellow alicorn sunbathing and tanning on the moon before..?” I said, smirking. Nightmare moon giggled. She was so cute when she--- NO! Snap out of it, Cipher!
She then groaned again.
“Uhhhggg… What hap... happened?” She asked, placing her hand onto her head, where she felt bandages. I snapped my fingers. A second later, my tanning stuff vanished, and I sat up on my comfy chair, and turned towards Nightmare moon.
“When you were bound into the moon, whoever did it used many spells to keep you locked away, each stringing itself together with the others, creating a nice chain-link effect. Very strong, and very intricate. Now, I’ve done my best, and I was able to destroy one of the binds, and this bind basically kept you within the moon...” I told her, sighing. I wish I could have done more, but, I couldn’t. Not without risking a total tonal collapse, which basically mean't, BOOM. “But, there's still a bind keeping you in the moon's vicinity… So, you aren’t trapped in the moon anymore, but you are trapped near it…" I said, watching her. Her body language seemed sluggish now. Depressed. I quickly continued, aiming to cheer her up.
"Luckily, I have made it so all of the binds keeping you here are slowly deteriorating, so they will one day all break, releasing you… In about 1,000 years...” I told her. She seemed sad, utterly defeated. It kinda broke my heart to see her like this. A tear fell from her face…
“S-S-So I am stuck h-here… FOR 1,000 YEARS!!!” Nightmare Moon screeched, upset.
“Pretty much..." and now, came the worst part of information I had to tell her.
"And I am sorry, but I must be going… I have matters to take care of, planets to turn into cheese, and some twins to go destroy.” I said, and my hat turned into a fedora, and my cane turned into a suitcase. I then snapped my fingers, and a portal opened. Well, not a mortal, more like a crack in space time. Fun way to get around, but bad place to be stuck in.
“Goodbye...” I said, as I was just about to walk through the portal, back to my chaos dimension. I could feel her sadness, and, to be honest, I felt sad too that I had to leave, but it was just something I had to do!
Before I could though, I felt a pair of hands grab mine, with an incredible grip. I turned around to see her, clutching me like a life preserver when a boat sinks. I was curious as to why she was like this. She had been so strong when she had gotten here...
What changed?
“PLEASE DON’T LEAVE!!!” She cried, and burst into tears. I had already been fighting the urge to do it, but this... This, you cannot ignore. A sigh, a snap of my fingers, and away with the portal, suitcase back to a cane, and fedora back to a tophat. I was sick of that fedora anyway. I wrapped my arms around her, a gentle blue flame aura clearing away her tears.
“Fine, I’ll do it…” I told her, and her frown instantly twisted upside down, so fast it made me think she had been faking it all. She then leaned up a bit, and...
She nuzzled me.
I bent down, and nuzzled her back.
Just like that, I was stuck with her for the next 1,000 years. Its quite amazing how fast something gigantic can occur. In my opinion, sometimes time, was the biggest magic. I would always do my best to keep her happy. Whenever I could, I would try to impress her, or amaze her, or just keep her entertained.
And, to be honest I was just happy that I could spend more time with her.
Also, and if I hear you tell anyone about this fact, i swear to GOD, I will make sure you are ripped apart, through time and space, scattered like dust, so its as if you never existed! Well...
I found that deep down, she was just like me. Chaotic, playful, funny…
1,000 years seemed to pass by in a flash for the both of us. For me, it passed by even faster. I’m Bill Cipher, I was older than time itself. At that point, 1,000 years feels like a second for me. Thats one of the reasons that I had that book of mine. Things would go by so fast, I would not want to miss a thing. And I am glad I recorded it all.
Nightmare Moon and I had many amazing moments together. For our entertainment, we would do many things, like play video games, mostly Xbonc One, or watched movies from the past, present, and future. We even played board games! But, Nighty's favorite thing to do, was go 'memory exploring'. It was a little thing I had made up. Since, I was connected to dreams, I could connect with peoples minds, if they let me in. Well, every chance she could beg out of me, I would let her explore my memories. Perhaps one day, I will show you some of them. Maybe a spinoff story, who knows.
But, out of all that time, I still couldn’t tell her that I loved her. It took me awhile to realize what that FEELING was, since I didn’t have that in my dictionary, but I realized it soon enough. I truly did love her. I would protect her from anything I possibly could.

After our agreement, I had quickly gotten to work in making this barren ol' wasteland as hospitable as possible. Firstly, a spell that I personally enjoyed, known as 'Expect it, see it, hear it'. This spell makes a field around an area, so that whatever you expect to see, you will see.
Next, I set up a large clock system, sitting very close to the edge of the area, where we first met. The clock, at first, read 1000:00:00:00:00:00, as in 1000 years, 0 months, 0 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds. Then, next thing on the list, was a home. A good place to sleep.
For this, I decided not to just poof it into existence first, but instead, actually take my time with this idea.
Each moment that passed after I created the clock, I removed a different book. A medium sized one, about the size of a normal sized journal. Each page was blank, and, I would wave a hand, a mechanical pencil, 0.7 mm sized lead. My favorite.
Once I had both of these items, I began drawing, and using energy to form a ruler, as I began to draw layouts, and plans, each one having to have measurements of how long things should be, if it were built in real life. Feet, inches, everything. When done with the layouts and everything, showing a mansion of sorts, with tons of triangles, and lunar symbols.
After that, I began to draw the layouts again, this time including all of the furniture that is needed for everything.
I even drew 3-D designs of everything needed, inside, and out.
Finally, I used paint and other objects, to color everything that needed to be colored.
"Why are you doing that? In fact, WHAT, are you doing?" NMM said from a small shack like house nearby. This had come from a suitcase I had made appear. This suitcase, when placed down, formed a very modest, and small shack. It wasn't much, but it was what they had, currently.
"Heh, its not as if your drawing is going to create anything..." NMM then joked, giggling to herself at her dumb joke. I just looked up at her, a smirk on my face, and a glint in my eye. Her eyes widened, as her jaw dropped. "Your joking, right? RIGHT? Even my sister, cannot use that kind of magic! Trust me, she has tried!" she yelled, obviously not believing what I am hinting at. I merely chuckled at that.
"Watch, and LEARN, moon butt~" I boasted, looking back down at my drawings. I then, gripped them, and ripped them away from the journal, so the pages now lay in my hand. The next spell I used made the pages harden, as if they were solid steel.
I threw the first page, the basic foundation of the area. The moment it landed a while away from the time clock, as my horn flashed, symbols and charms forming in the air above the page, as a magical outline formed in the area. The rough moon rock began to flatten in some places, forming perfect roads. The rest of the rock began to grow a gentle field of grass, with some spots having large pieces of rock, like tree's.
I continued throwing the pages one on the other, as the magic kept growing, bigger and bigger, the outline forming with each drawing, becoming stronger and stronger. Soon, the entire building was like a ghost, there, but not there. You could even see through it!
"... and, the finishing touches... The magic, of the building!" I exclaimed, opening my mouth, and blowing air. It was pure blue flame, as it swirled around the building, and exploded into it. The form fully solidified, and the wooden mansion was formed. Nightmare gasped, staring at the building, eyes gigantic like dinner plates. She looked to me, eyes full of want.
To be honest, i wish she looked at me like that, SOOOOOOOOO much more!
"Yes, you can go explore it... It IS, your new home, after all." I teased, and like a bullet, she sped off, to explore the mansion. It was gigantic, and had many sorts of rooms. A kitchen, larger than life, with fridges that when opened, would give you whatever you needed from it. It was the kind that pinkie would get, and become so happy she exploded.
There were plenty of bathrooms, a bowling alley, a gaming room with every single system ever made, rooms containing alchemy area's, rooms with potion stations, and my pride and joy. This pride and joy, was a gigantic glass domed creation towards the center of the building, showing green, and other colorful things.
Each day was a good one, as we used the house to its fullest extent. One day, I decided to show her something. Show her, a more private room.

Each day that passed, tended to have the same feeling to it, with Nighty asking about a specific door that led to a specific room at the center of the house. This door was ornate, and completely different from its surroundings. It had no handles, and no locks that anyone could see. But, nighty knew it led to something important, based on the fact that I locked her out of the memories that involved it. Well, each day, Nighty asked me about it, and asked why she couldn't go in. I never answered, until it had finally gotten on my nerves. I decided, to finally oblige her, answering her question about it during a game of chess.
"That door... does it involve your family?" she speculated, having thought about it for a while now. I looked at her, and smiled a bit. Her face said that she knew I wasn't going to answer. She was predicting what I might do.
Nobody predicts, what the randomness king, the King of dreams, will do!
"Yes..." I finally revealed. Her eyes seemed to bulge a bit once again, surprised that I had answered her. I decided to go on. "My old house, was owned by my parents before they died. My mother had created a room, just for herself, and I, my father not able to enter the room. She imparted a power in to me, her power. This power only had one purpose : To keep the door locked, unless my life force wills it to open. If I do not wish for it to open, then the room could never be opened, no matter what you do. That door, leads to that room. The dome outside is a mere outline, to make it so I can travel to it if I pass through the door in THIS house." I explained, smiling gently. Her eyes were still wide, not believing that I had revealed so much information. I merely smiled, and moved a piece on the board.
"Your move, girl~"

It was a few weeks later, during the night. Well, I think. I honestly don't know, its a bit difficult to tell time in space, especially on a rock that doesn't have a day and night cycle. All I know, is that the clock currently said 0576:10:27:07:43:39, as in 576 years, 10 months, 27 days, 7 hours, 43 minutes, and 39 seconds until the binds wore thin, and Nighty was released from her prison. Well, based on that clock, I believe it was afternoon, as it was 7 hours until midnight. To be honest, I never have been good at math, so I may be wrong. It didn't REALLY matter, because on the moon, it always looks like both night and day, with the dark sky, but the seemingly glowing surface, but, eh.
Nighty hadn't been asking about the door anymore, seeming to know I didn't wish to talk about it, but, over these years, I decided that I should give her a bit of a treat. I went into the room where she was, a gaming room, and I smiled gently. She looked up, confused, and then I gestured for her to come over.
Rising, she stared at me, and I received a wonderful view of her. She had received a closet full of new and interesting clothes when I created the home, and she was wearing part of her stuff right now. She was in a baggy T-shirt, a fiery red, with words on it, that read 'The moon isn't chill, it can BURN!'. She also wore a pair of baggy sweats, that were good around her waist, but looked very comfortable to be in, almost like pajamas. Her hair was in a ponytail, as she put her hands on her hips, sauntering over, looking at me.
"What is it? I was trying to beat your high score!" she snorted, doing a pose that tried to show she wasn't afraid of me, but it came out more as 'I am adorable'. I merely chuckled, and began to speak.
"I was thinking... You haven't asked about the room in a while..." I noted, watching her reaction. She merely went from proud, to sheepish, in an instant.
"I saw that the topic... really hurt to talk about. I didn't want to hurt you, you dolt!" she playfully punched me in the shoulder, as if trying to force that piece of information into me. I laughed a bit, and acted as if hurt, while staring at her. It was true that it hurt, but, I had to explain it to someone... eventually.
"Well, I have decided, I need to show someone at some point. The beauty of it all, needs to be shared. My mother wouldn't have wanted me to be selfish with her gift." I lamented, as I turned, and walked out of the room, and walking through the halls, knowing that she was following me. I kept walking and walking, until, I was at the large door, at which point, I turned around, and saw NMM walk up. Gone was the proud and dominant woman, and in her place, was a sheepish, shy female.
"... your really going to do this? Let me into a place highly sacred to you?" she asked, and I merely nodded.
"Lets... do this..." I replied, turning to the door, and pressing my hand to it. The entire door glowed, as the building hummed. Lines appeared, around its edges, and down its center, deepening, becoming actual space. In seconds, the door was revealed, and in a flourishing movement, I opened the door.
Garden of Reality | Updated
The moment the door opened, light spewed into the hallway. A nice, friendly light. A type that Nightmare would definitely not normally like.
It was sunlight.
Noise spilled forth too, like the sound of chirping birds, and calls of animals. Nighty stared in shock at what she saw in a room of her new house. A forest.

First thing she noticed, was that the forest, was different. There were plenty of plants that she knew of, like vines that seep away magic, covered in spikes. There were crystal tree's, that look much like the tree of harmony, where Celestia found the Elements of Harmony. There were crystal flowers, apple tree's, zap-apple tree's, and even plants that she recognized as changeling in origin. But, that was not the weird part.
In this room, there were flowers she had never seen before. Plants she had never seen before. Things that just looked, well, otherworldly ! I felt giddy and excitement overwhelm me, making me run forward into the lush greens and browns, reds and yellows, and other multitude of colored things. Bill followed behind me, chuckling to himself, most likely at my own actions. I would beat him up, but, there was something about him that was so... charming, so I decided not too.
My feet clacked on the stone path beneath my feet, that started at the door, and went in 5 directions. Left in an arc, left diagonally, forward, right diagonally, and an arc to the right. The moment I was inside, I spun around, to get a full view of the area.
We were in a large dome, that seemed to go on for miles. The glass was mosaic, most a deep black, like space. The rest was depictions of, I believe, his families history. Amazing thing to stare at, as it seemed to show the entire family history, all without words. It reminded me of something that me and my sister had come up with, an idea for a part of a castle that we wished to build, someday, so she could live closer to her subjects. The idea was that she would keep the central castle in the forest, while Tia would receive a castle, on one of the tallest mountains in Equestria.
Bill kept on chuckling, as he hooked his arm around mine, making me look directly in his eyes. They were so... blue .so how in the hell, were we getting closer to the center so quickly !?
As if he was able to read my thoughts, Bill looked to me, and answered my question.
"This entire place, is connected to my families magic, and all members... it responds to our wills, and so if I wish to get close to somewhere quickly, that is exactly what will happen. I am ruler of this place." Bill explained, as they were so, very close. "... aaaand, we are here...".
My eyes bulged, as I looked around at the area in front of me. The entire path widened, becoming a gigantic circle, that contained benches, potted plants, tables, a small outdoor style bookshelf, and other relaxation based items. But none of that mattered, for at the center, was the most glorious thing I had ever seen.
At the center of it all, was a fountain, containing lily pads, and a beautiful blue water, that looked more like crystal than it did water. I could tell this stuff was magical. Just being near it all made me feel, so very strong.
It was a tree, that glowed with the power of gods. Its bark made of crystal, glimmering with chaotic energy, like flames were roaring inside of it.I could see all of the colors, blue, red, green, black, grey, and yet, there was one missing, after having my eyes stuck on it for over a minute. The only color it did not have, was yellow.
"This tree, contains the power of my fallen family members. My father, told me stories of when they first created this dimension, MY home. When it was done, a tree sat at the center of the dimension, as it was the linchpin. It was what kept everything together, and without it, it would all fail." Bill confessed, moving off to the side, to sit at a bench. He plopped his butt down, which gave me a greater view of him.
Bill always wore a variation of the same style of clothing, but most often, he wore the same suit. It had a bottom being loose fitting, so when he moved, it flapped around him, like a cape. while the outside was a deep yellow, like the sun, the inside was painted with the stars, and as it flaps, you can see the entire thing move with it, as if it is merely changing what direction you are looking, instead of just moving the suit. You could see universes, and stars, planets with rings, with asteroids, or just normal, plain jane. Sometimes, you could even see shooting stars zip across the design.
Beneath the suit, he wore a simple white button up shirt, with a jet black bow tie, that was always clean. For pants, he wore dress pants, also jet-black, that seemed to almost glimmer, with below that, a pair of black dress shoes. His hair was always unkempt, and shaggy, but to him, that didn't seem to matter. Adorning his head was an amazing looking top hat, that just shouted fancy. His face was kind, and gentle, with one eye sometimes covered by a black patch, which tended to cover his left eye. He also tended to have a jet black wood cane, that he used to focus his energy. The final thing about him was a pair of black gloves, that hugged his hands. To be honest, he looked, like a badass person.
"Because this tree is so important to our family, my father explained to me that the tree has a spell that made it so if anyone dies, all of their energy would surge into the tree, strengthening the entire dimension, and everyone that was related to the family that created the tree. Their deaths, would make us stronger than you could imagine." Bill continued, seeming thoroughly engrossed into the story. "Since this tree had so much chaotic energy surging into it, it even affected the area around it, making plant-life grow here that doesn't exist anywhere else. Because of this, my father, when the house was passed into their possession, created this large dome around it all, as a protective measure. However, my mother thought differently, thinking the tree looked sad with just the tree and these new plants. Because of this, she began creating plants and animals too, as well as taking plants and animals from every single world, from the past, present, and future, and planting them here in this area, forming an amazing place. Some members, began calling it the Garden of Eden. Some called it Babylon, others El-dorado. But, the title I loved the most, was the Garden of Reality.".
I merely looked around, eyes gigantic, as I was just, SHOCKED, at all of this. I looked at bill, and smiled. My eyes were focused on him intently, as I just thought about the bombshell that he had just dropped on me. It was, so much. I then did the only thing I wanted to do, just to comfort him. He may have been good at hiding it, but to me, I could read him like an open book.
I went forward, wrapping an arm around him to give him a loving hug.
After that, I did something I did not think I would do. Something if anyone had suggested to me when I first landed on this planet, I would have blasted them with the worst of spells, making them experience the worst of pains, so eventually they would die, in horrible, horrible agony. But I was a different woman now.
I gave Bill, a kiss on the cheek, pouring all of my feeling into it.

My eyes bulged, as I felt her soft, soft lips pressing into my cheek. It was like the greatest of drugs. No, it was far better than the greatest of drugs. This was something that no universe, not ours or the next, could offer me. This, was something that made me feel, truly, like a god. I wrapped my left wing around her, giving her as big of a hug as i could, aiming to show her my love.
At that moment, my goal, had changed. It had been to cause mischief, all over creation, but now that was put on the back burner. My new goal, was to protect, this female. To protect her from everything.

But there was one thing that I could not protect her from.
The fact that our time, would eventually come to an end.
The clock currently read 0000:00:00:00:04:00, which is 4 minutes left, until the binds on Nightmare Moon was released. That was the moment, I would lose her. I could not, let that happen.
But first, I had some things I had to take care of, like giving Nightmare Moon some things. I went searching for Nighty, and found her packing up her things, planning to take them with her. It seemed her entire plan was to take off the moment the clock hit zero. She was packing things like her new clothes, potions she had learned to create, a ton of ingredients...
You know, things she would need.
“Nighty..? I prepared some... things, for you...” I mumbled, feeling shy at that moment. I made a duffel bag appear, one that she knew. A bag that was magical, able to hold an infinite amount of objects, and able to give you objects that you need from it, just by thinking about what you wanted. Nightmare turned towards me, curious.
“What is it..?" she questioned, truly curious. I grinned happily, and reached into the bag. From it, I retrieved, a set of moonstone armor, that was changed. It had pieces of obsidian laced against it, to show a light and dark style. This also reinforced the armor, making it stronger than ever. The moment she saw it, all of the work creating it, became all worth it. "OH! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!”.
She hugged and nuzzled me, and, while hiding a blush, I nuzzled her back too. She felt so soft, better than any blanket, carpet, or anything in the universe. She smelled like a mix of fruit, which made me wonder if she was wearing a perfume. If I had to describe it, it was like a fruit...
Perhaps a bit of blueberry and Apple?
"Well, its not just that! Look at this... and this!" I continued to remove items from the bag, and with each item, her eyes grew bigger and bigger, a blush forming on her shocked face. The next item I had removed, was a large war axe, made of obsidian and moonstone. The blade was in the shape of a crescent, and seemed to have dents and nicks, but they were intentional. With them, the entire thing looked like it was a part of the moon, with its many craters.
The next items were a set of regalia, perfectly mean't to embody the queen of the night. To be honest, it is hard to describe, but that does not matter. There was also anything she may need to prepare to escape enemies and go into hiding, like magical tents, trap parts, and other things like that. There was a hand shield, made to reflect any kind of magic, no matter how strong.
In the end, it was all an amazing thing for any pony to give, anyone, and she loved it.
"Oh my god... this is all... so much! Your so kind, Cipher!" she giggled out, providing me with true, utter music, in my opinion. That's what that noise was to me. Music, to my ears.
“Oh, I-I have a gift for you too… In fact, I have two!” She exclaimed, using magic. In seconds, I could feel a chain wrap around my neck, but not forcefully, instead gently, as if the item it was wrapped too was very, very important. A snap of my wings, and a mirror appeared nearby, floating so I could see.
Around my neck, was a golden pendent, shaped like a heart. This pendent had ornate designs carved into it expertly, showing that whoever created it was a true master of what they did. The more I examined it, the sooner I noticed the hinge on a side of it, and a latch, so if squeezed enough, it would click open. It wasn't a pendent at all, but instead, a locket.
My fingers moved towards the pendent, but she smiled, grabbing them. “Do not open it yet. Only when I am gone...” she said, quickly. I looked into her eyes, and I could see mischeviety.
She was up to something...
"So, what is this other gift?" I tried to ask, but she quickly avoided me, by becoming nervous. She had something to say.
“Cipher..? I have a… Request, of you…” Nighty mumbled out, looking at me nervously. I tilted my head, wondering why was she so nervous all of a sudden? A pit in my stomach formed, as I felt it meant nothing good.
“You should know, I plan on taking over the empire that my sister has built, but, that will take some time. Since I have fought with my sister for so long, I wish to do this on my own. Therefore, I am sad to say, I do not wish for you to intrude." she sadly spoke, but before I could comment, she continued. "However, I care for you. Therefore, I would like it, if in 10 years..." she became choked up, eyes watering. I can tell she wants to say something, but her pride is denying her it. However, her feeling is stronger.
"W-will you come visit me..?” She asked, nervously. I could tell she wanted me to say yes, and I just couldn’t disappoint her, no matter how hard it hurt me to stay away.
“Of course, mistress of the night...” I bowed, tipping my hat once again, with the same affect as before occurring, except with a different result. This time, she burst into a fit of giggles.
"Oh cipher, you are such an amazing man...". That line made me blush, heavily. I like it when she compliments me.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
I donned my hat once again, and looked at the large clock, which now rang loudly. It read, 00:00:00:00:00:00. Time, was up.
Nightmare began walking away from me, but, what she said earlier stuck with me, and so I asked again.
"You said you had 2 gifts for me, madame... What is the other gift?" I asked, wanting to just spend one more moment with this woman. In fact, I wish she never had to leave at all. Nighty instantly froze, and giggled to herself.
“I n-nearly forgot!!! I need to give your other, gift~” she said, a new aspect in her voice, but I couldn’t tell what it was. It was almost like a purr. She then spun on the spot, and…
She k-k-kissed me!
She had kissed me on my cheek, and, for a second, the entire world felt like bliss. My cheek tingled with the magic of an alicorn, and her... love, for me. This female loves me... SHE LOVES ME!!!
The moment was short lived, as her horn flicked... the moons bindings all collapsing at once, as she vanished. I did the only thing that I could do at the current moment…
I screamed to the heavens...
"SHE KISSED ME!!! A GIRL LOVES ME!!! WAHOOOOO!!!".
… And I waited ten years…
9 years, 11 months after banishment.
Dear Diary,
I swear something is wrong. I have tried to speak with my sister, but, she says that its probably just an effect from Nightmare.
The dreamscape is... acting strange.
It will shift, and mold. Moving in an odd way. It will change, and shift, as if it is filled with life.
Yes, I know that it is, but... It has never done this before!
Its as if it knows that something is going to happen. As if something is affecting it. Could it be the tenth year anniversary that's doing this..?
... could it be Nightmare?
I do see her, in the room in the dreamscape. She doesn't do much anymore, merely sits there, staring. She hasn't done much since I defeated the tantabus. She'll sometimes talk, but... That's rare. I plan on asking her tonight.
Dear Diary,
It has been 3 days since I last wrote in you. Things are getting worse.
The dreamscape is changing rapidly, becoming a twisting maze with no way to traverse it, even for myself. The most I can do is move a door to someones dream to me, and go through it, unlike what I normally do, which is just traverse until I find a door with a dream. I have asked Twilight to monitor it with me tonight.
I hope that this isn't some... remnant, of the tantabus.

It has been 1 day since I last wrote in you.
Twilight told me that, something is definitely wrong with the dreamscape. Its as if its magic is growing, getting out of control. As if something is GIVING it power!
I have told my sister, and now, we are having specialists work on figuring this out.
I know it won't be enough.

I am not going back into the dreamscape. I have made a decision about it.
With a spell I will cast tonight, the entire dreamscape will be frozen, until we can figure out what is happening.

Time since 'The Meeting' - 9 years, 11 months, 31 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes
It was a cold, cold night. The wind whistled through the buildings and parks, through the castle corridors, and through open windows. But, even if it was cold, that did not mean that people were asleep.
The streets were crowded with people, who should be happy. New year would soon begin. But, there was no happiness, anywhere. None at all.
You may be wondering, why? Why was there no happiness?
Well, I can answer that easily. It had been 20 days since I had disabled the dreamscape, and yet...
Each night, every person in all of the world, from what we can gather, has had the same, exact dream...
I can see that place now.
A dark void. A place where no light was. No magic. Nothing at all.
There wasn't even cold, for this place had no temperature either.
Something would dart around you, and uncontrollable fear would smother you, making it so you can't move. You couldn't even if you wanted too, this place not letting you do anything at all. Not even breathing.
You would hear something around you. Words. How could words survive in a void like place?
"Bring her back"
Over and over and over. It wouldn't stop. Neither loud, nor quiet.
This would continue for hours, until, finally, you could see something... A grin, fire, a tophat, and cane... that's all you would see.
And then, you were awake.
"Lulu, you seem... distant"
It threw me from my thoughts, making me turn to see... my sister. Her hair was in a ponytail, which she likes to do on events. She wore a fire red dress, shining like the sun, and reminded me of her pet Phoenix. But, that elegance did not hide her eyes, or rather, whats below them. Dark grey is there, showing her weariness. She was exhausted.
"Yea, you seem *yawn* distant, Luna." a new voice said, which made me look past Celly, to see my nephew. Cadance. Her hair was also in a ponytail. To say the truth, it was Cadance who inspired Celestia to put her hair in a ponytail. It made sense. If Cadance wore it well, big chance Celly would too. I could see her amazing pink and purple dress.
The bags were there too, beneath her eyes.
"Its nothing, nothing at al--" I had nearly gotten that bit out, until a voice beside me spoke up, making me turn my head.
"Its the situation , isn't it?" Twilight asked. I turned, to see her... taller, definitely taller, than she used to be. I can remember this had been happening since her coronation so long ago. It was most likely due to being part alicorn now, since this happened to cadance after her coronation. She wore something both nerdy, and fancy. It was... hard to describe it.
Twilight had also added something to her arsenal of clothes. Glasses!~
I have to say, they make her look, so, so cuuuuute! I would snuggle with her, if I could! In fact, her wearing glasses inspired me to wear glasses, sometimes. The grey was there too!
I sighed to myself, and began.
"Yes, it is. It just bugs me to have my realm shut down! And... how dreams are still occurring".
"Technically, they aren't dreams, and they aren't multiple, so more like dream. It is just a signal, from somewhere, broadcasting over and over to people while they sleep! Its replacing the dreamscape!" Twilight finished, and made Celestia look at her, glaring a bit. The loss of sleep was truly affecting her, same with the others around the globe. This signal seemed to make sleep half as effective, putting everyone into despair.
Twilight 'EEP'D' adorably, causing me to sigh.
"Yes, I know that, but... Who is doing this!?" I began, spouting into the Canterlot voice for a second there. Sleep was affecting me too.
"Sister, we must not focus on that for now. Tonight, we celebrate. Let loose a bit, as we welcome in, the new year!" she said, smiling, placing her hand on my shoulder. I must say right now, that I was wearing the dress I had not owned, and the locket.
I had really wanted too, for some reason, and... Well, it did feel niiiiice~
"Yes sister, you are right..."
"Now SHHHHH, the countdown is beginning!" Cadance said, causing us all to giggle. We were all tired, but Cadance seemed to become more... childish, when she was this tired. I wonder if she's losing her mind?
So the countdown began. Everyone shouting out as the students this year, graduated from Celly's school cast a spell, making '10' appear in the sky.. We did this every new years, letting the unicorns test what they have learned. At first, I thought this idea was terrible, until I learned something. Since there are so many students casting the spell, even if many mess up, nothing bad will happen.
It began to countdown, but I zoned out, catching on at 5.

Every year, time slowed down for me at this moment. Letting me look around for a second, seeing my friends, family, and people, and ponder for a moment. I did so, staring at everything I could.

I want you all to know something.
Since it has been awhile, my writing style has... changed, a bit. I go more into detail, I try to make it so when I write, you can see a picture in front of you. You can SEE what I describe. And so, I wish for you to know this as I begin, a new chapter, of 'Dreams and Demons'! Oh, and there will be a bit of clop, at some point. I plan to segment it off into a chapter, and make it so you don't need to read that bit. Its just for giggles.
Okay, lets, BEGIN!

It was at that moment, the vision of the area swirled, colors twisting and morphing, soon showing a young man, in a classroom, typing away at his computer. He... No, I looked up, and smiled at you all.
"Hey guys! Its me, the scariest jack-o-lantern there is!" I said, happily. "I bet you guys missed me, didn't you? Just look at these comments!" I joked, looking through the comments, smiling. I love them!
"You guys are amazing and people, and thank you for liking my story! To be honest, I forgot about it a long time ago, but, I believe its time to change that! I have grown since I last wrote in this book, and I am going to be going through, UPDATING the story, trying to improve it. When all chapters are updated, I am going to continue on, with dreams and demons." I nodded to myself, looking back at the computer screen.
"I truly hope you all enjoy, the new, and improved, Dreams and Demons" I said, as the view began to swirl again, but it stopped suddenly.
"Oh, and if anyone see's anything that I need to fix, PLEASE, message me showing me where and what, I need to fix. Thank you, and I hope you all have, a WEIRD day!".
"Oh, and I am now adding this, because I realized something... since this feels like a good place to end the story, for now, I am going to end it here, with a sequel to my story, coming very, very soon, as soon as I finish updating my current writing... I hope that puts a smile on all of your faces!" I smile, and get back to work updating things.
And the camera swirled...
