ESF: Galaxy & Nightmare

"Come back here, Nightmare!" I yelled at Nightmare as I flew after him. Nightmare laughed.

"Try and catch me, Nebula!" He taunted as he flew faster. He noticed I was slowing down. "Aw, what's the matter, Galaxy? Getting slow in your old age?" He laughed. I growled and forced my wings to fly faster. They ached, but I had to go on. Nightmare flashed a wicked grin as he saw Canterlot Palace. "Ha! Gotcha!" He smirked. Shining Armor and his guards were ready. This shocked him. "What?!" He exclaimed just as Shining Armor's spear flew past him, just missing him, but enough to where the spear grazed his shoulder. He let out a sound of pain as blood trickled down his shoulder.

"Captain, protect Princess Luna!" I called to him. He nodded and turned to his men.

"You heard Galaxy! Protect Princess Luna and Celestia!" He ordered. The guards nodded. Flash stayed behind a moment.

"Sir, I'd like to go and help your sister." He requested. Shining Armor nodded.

"Go. Do what you can to help her." He told him. Flash nodded.

"Thank you, sir. Swift Rider! Storm Cloud! Follow me!" He ordered to a couple of guards who nodded. The three of them took off to aid my friends with King Sombra. Twilight was there as well, using her magic to stop Sombra, but it didn't work. Quillton leaped up and tackled Sombra, trying to slow him down. Sombra shook him off, and Quillton landed on the ground hard, getting back up. He was bruised and battered, his coat ripped in a few spots. He looked at his coat and gasped.

"This was my favorite coat!" He growled. "Alright, you asshole, bring it on!" My best friend yelled as he charged at Sombra with Sunset next to him. Sunset fired a magic blast at Sombra, sending him back a good few feet. Sombra growled and his horn lit up, only to be hit by a spear which grazed his eye. He let out a cry of pain as Flash flew into view, punching Sombra's jaw. Twilight laughed, racing up to Flash.

"Flash!" She gasped, laughing, hugging her coltfriend. Flash hugged his marefriend back. Storm Cloud and Swift Rider helped Quillton with his bruises. Sombra got back up, enraged.

"He's back up!" Mocha exclaimed. Valerium then did something Mocha never expected. He opened his mouth, and fangs sprouted from his top row of teeth. They were a good few inches, long enough to penetrate Sombra's skin. Mocha's coltfriend flew to Sombra, which seemed like only a blur to him. Sombra roared in pain as Valerium sunk his fangs in Sombra's neck, trying to drain him of blood. Valerium coughed and spat out Sombra's blood as Sombra crumpled to the floor, unmoving and lifeless.

"Bleh, tastes like pears." Valerium coughed, his fangs retracting. Quillton patted his shoulder.

"Pears. I know. Taste horrible." He told him. Mocha ran over to her coltfriend.

"Val, I can't believe you actually...." She gasped. Valerium smiled.

"Killed Sombra? I know." He told her. "Come on. Let's go help out our friend." He told the others, They nodded, racing off towards the throne room to help me against Nightmare. I was doing a good job at keeping him busy, punching him here and there. Nightmare dodged some of my hits, but blood was trickling from his mouth. He wiped it away and smiled.

"You fight good, Nebula. You should join me." He smirked. I scoffed and chuckled.

"You know, Nightmare, I think I finally figured you out." I said. Nightmare was about to say something when I cut him off. "Ah ah, let me finish. Even though you may be an evil version of me, you will never be me. You won't have awesome friends, a beautiful and loving wife, and, just to top it off, I will end you for good and make sure you never come back." I told him. Nightmare raised an eyebrow and smirked.

"You're really confident, aren't ya?" He asked me. I nodded and charged towards him. I didn't know what happened next, but the next thing I heard was a 'SNAP'! followed by a 'CRACK'! I fell to the ground on my stomach, my front hooves outstretched in front of me. Nightmare was laughing, and I soon realized why. I looked at my wings, and as I rose my right wing, I gasped. My left wing didn't rise at all, for it was bent at an abnormal angle.

"My wing....." I gasped, cringing in pain as I slowly tucked it away along with my right wing. "You broke my wing!" I exclaimed, glancing up at Nightmare, who was directly over me, looking at me straight in the eyes. He smirked.

"Can't fly without your wings, can you, Galaxy?" He taunted. I growled, muttering something. "Hmm? I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." He said. I spoke louder.

"Fuck you, bitch." I cursed. Nightmare seemed taken back by this comment. "Yeah, I said it." I told him. Soon, Nightmare heard a thudding against the doors.

"I'll deal with you later." He told me. "I've got a princess to collect, then a unicorn." He smirked. I gasped. I tried to crawl towards him, but he took off, leaving me helpless and grounded. The doors burst open as my friends and wife poured through. Crystal gasped in horror and raced over to me, kneeling on the ground. Quillton growled, along with Valerium, Mocha, Joy, and Sunset.

"Twilight and Flash went to go help Shining Armor." Joy told me as she walked over, helping Crystal lift me up. Crystal was enraged.

"When I get my hooves on Nightmare, he's dead." She told me. "That bastard has gone too far! Took control of my husband, then hurt his wing! Is it broken?" She asked. Mocha used her magic to do an X-Ray of my wing. She winced as she glanced at the bone.

"It's broken, badly." She told me. "Shit, we need to get you to the hospital right away, Galaxy." She told me. I shook my head.

"No. I can deal with the pain. Nightmare has gone too far. That monster is going to get what's coming to him." I told her. We then heard a scream, followed by a name. "That was Luna!" I exclaimed as we all raced into the throne room. Celestia was unconscious on the floor, breathing, while Nightmare has his hooves around Luna's neck, who was struggling. Nightmare laughed as I growled.

"Take a good look, Galaxy! This is how it ends! Your days are done, everypony! Soon, the whole world will see! Nightmare shall rule all of Equestria, with Nightmare Moon by my side!!" Nightmare shouted. He charged towards us, throwing a small ball that puffed out a cloud of smoke. I heard a yelp and when the smoke cleared, me and Valerium gasped in unison. Mocha was in Nightmare's other arm, struggling to get free. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a queen to resurrect!!" Nightmare laughed, taking off with both Mocha and Luna.

"Mocha!" Valerium shouted, racing towards Nightmare.

"Valerium! Galaxy!" Mocha cried as Nightmare flew towards the Castle of the Two Sisters. Valerium growled.

"Damn it!" Valerium yelled. I looked at Quillton, Joy, Sunset, Crystal, and Valerium. Nightmare had just taken our friend, and we were going to get her back. I looked up.

"We're coming for you, Mocha. No pony left behind." I said to myself. Quillton was busy helping Princess Celestia up. Nightmare had gone too far, and now, it's time we took the battle to him.
