Chapters Looking out to the sunset of Malibu was an interesting scene. The sun dipping into the ocean making an array of colors against the surface. The wind whirling through my dark red hair cooled my hot forehead from the high temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The orange sky slowly mixed into pink and purplish streams of clouds. I love sunsets, all of them in general; it always calmed my mind to think about what I did today and reflect upon it. Even if it was a bad day, which was almost every other day due to school and bullies. Seeing the sun going into the ocean would settle my emotions so I can be mentally prepared for the next day.
By the way, my name is Trey. Recently, I graduated High School with a 4.0 average, which was a great achievement in my life. On my last day of school, I applied ten times for a scholarship to my desired college in Arizona. My parents, who were skeptical about the scholarship, supported me with their money to pay expenses for any college that I enroll in. My thinking process ended when I heard little footsteps coming towards my room and I knew who it was.
"You can come in Clover." I sighed as I closed the window.
Clover opened the door and she was wearing a blue blouse with light blue flowers on her skirt. Her brown hair was in a ponytail that bounced as she skipped and opened her arms to me. I opened my arms and gave her a hug, she giggled through my chest only to push away. Her smile is another reason that I can survive day by day.
"Mom has a package for you that came in the mail." She said picking up my Rainbow Dash Figurine.
I smiled, "Alright. Let me just take out my books and folders so I can sort them when I get back."
"Okay~!" She cheered and carried the figurine with her.
I glanced at my shelf to let out a chuckle as it was overrun with my little pony vinyl figurines. I looked to my right to see a Luna poster where she was lying on the moon looking upon Equestria as a planet. I lay my hand on the poster and sigh as I picked up my backpack to place on my bed. I pour out the contents on top of my covers and walked away to meet up with my mother.
Our house wasn't anything that special, it was a single story home with a basic attic for storage. Walking from my room, which Clover's was opposite to mine, I made my way down the hallway towards the living room. I glanced behind me to see that Clover was making some clay art while mixing it with some gems that my father found in the desert. When I got to the living room, my dad was reading an article on his laptop on the couch while my mother, who was sitting next to him, was looking into my package.
My dad works as a Seismologist and a geologist for the Califonia Insitute of Technology. He is all about technology and researching everything there is to know about the tectonic plates. My mother is a nurse at the local hospital in Los Angeles. She, other than my sister, is caring for everyone she meets. Mom is like Fluttershy, but more curious than shy.
I put my hands on my hips, "You know, it's rude to be looking through someone else's mail." I said making my mother jump a bit.
She sighed while my dad was chuckling, "You know how your mother is. It's not her fault that she's curious like a cat." He teased.
Mother walked up to him and 'meowed' a little bit when she landed her lips upon his. I rolled my eyes to see that the package was from the University of Advancing Technology. Ripping the package hastily, there was nothing inside but a DVD case that said 'play me.' I glanced at my parents as they were right ahead of me to change the input of the Television to the DVD player. Getting up, I released the DVD from its case and pushed it in. The screen was blue at first, but a logo of the University showed itself with its theme song playing in the background. I quickly looked at my parent's surprised expressions as my sister came into the living room with her new art piece.
"Are we watching a movie?" She asked as the screen showed the owner of the University. He was in a generic rich man's room with a fire burning in the fireplace. The man in question was wearing a jet black suit while reading a book titled 'Touching Spirit Bear', but he closed it and looked at the camera.
"Hello, my name is Robert Sterling, owner of the University of Advancing Technology." He said grabbing a small stack of papers behind him, "Trey Hanway, we've received your applications and we read your specifications for your time in High School. I would like to inform you that you've been accepted into our University with a full Scholarship with extra bonuses." My heart was beating repeatedly from the adrenaline and excitement of what was about to come next. He continues, "You'll be given a dorm room free of charge, free book tuitions for your classes, and free meals from our personal cafeteria served to the staff of our University." I could see that my mom and dad's jaws were dropped, my sister didn't have a single clue of what was happening while I was about to explode into rainbows and Confetti. Just before the video was about to end, Robert looked at the camera before opening his book again, "Oh, I almost forgot, you're coming to our University early, we want you to get ahead of your studies so that way you can do something productive. A limo will be here to pick you up tomorrow morning at nine ante meridiem (a.m.) to take you to Arizona where my assistant will meet you. Now if you excuse me, I have a book to read, good day." The video ended with the University logo before going black.
My parents and I yelled/screamed with all the excitement that was held back throughout the video, "WHAT?!!!!"
I took a deep breath, sighing as my mom hugs me tightly, "I'm so proud of you, Trey!" I was patting her back and trying to breathe through all the perfume that she puts on every day. My dad pried us away as he slapped his hand on my back, "I'm glad you followed my advice for applying for different Universities, even though this was the only one you wanted to apply for." He chuckled as I rubbed my back from the slight stinging pain.
"I'm just as happy as you guys are," I said looking at Clover who was confused.
"Does that mean you're leaving?" She asked looking a bit disappointed.
I knelt down to meet her at eye-level as I put my hand on her head to ruffle up her hair, "Yes, I'm leaving, but I'll come visit during the holiday's, my spring breaks and whatnot." She giggled when I gave her a goofy smile as I got up to walk towards the hallway. "I'm going to get packed for tomorrow," I announced as I entered my room to pull out my large suitcase from underneath my bed.
I grabbed my empty backpack, that was going to be my carry-on for the trip. I packed my clothing, desktop, console, playing cards, video games and a printer. For my carry-on, my laptop was packed with a solar charger, some external hard drives, plenty of small pony figurines and two books. I would have to pack some snacks when I head out the next day. I looked at the time and it was nine o'clock at night. I grabbed a set of comfortable traveling clothes and set them on my desk.
I walked towards the bathroom with a fresh pair of boxers but was interrupted by my mother sobbing in the kitchen. Curious about what happened, I sneaked my way to the wall that was right behind the kitchen.
"Honey, please stop crying." It was dad speaking to mom.
Mom was trying to hold back the tears and small gasps, "I-I can't... He's grown up so much that... That I don't want to lose him..."
Immediately I knew it was about me, I quietly snuck to the nearest wall, close to my room. I put my back on the wall quietly to hear where that conversation went.
"You're not going to lose him, Rachel, he's just going to a neighboring state. He's not going to the other side of the country," Dad explained.
Mom became quiet when I heard dad kissing her, "He's still our son, he has the right to choose what he wants to do in life. Even if he's turning nineteen next year." He calmly said.
Mom sighed heavily as she spoke, "It's just... Happening so fast... John, I just can't bear it if he gets himself hurt when I'm not there."
She gasped when I heard some ruffling between them, maybe it was a hug? Dad spoke, "He's a smart kid. He earned this position by doing the right things we taught him when he first started to walk. I'm not asking you to let him go, I'm asking you to be supportive of our son and our daughter."
I heard her sniff up some snot as I heard two lips smacking into one another, "I'll try my best," Her mouth was close to his chest as she muffled out, "I love you."
Dad kissed her head, "I love you too."
I tried to keep my tears away from my eyes as I made my way, quietly, into the bathroom. I locked my door and looked in the mirror. My tears were streaming down my cheeks as my hands formed into fists. I turned on the shower to silently sob. They were right, I did grow up too fast for my own good and forgot who got me here in the first place. I wiped my tears from my eyes and had an idea of how I was going to thank them.
The Next Morning
I was so excited and semi-depressed for tomorrow that I pretended to sleep. When my body doesn't like to sleep, I just close my eyes and let my mind wander while my body was trying to rest. When I saw the sun peeking through my window, I sighed as I jumped out of bed to put on my traveling clothing. Putting my backpack on, I pulled my suitcase to see my sister and parents were waiting for me in the dining room.
"Morning," I said, glancing at the clock that was on nine in the morning.
"Morning, Trey." Clover yawned while holding a necklace with a small Lapis Crystal connected to it.
"Did you make that?" I asked as she smiled.
"It's my going away present to you." She said as she stood up on the chair to put the necklace around my neck.
"Thanks." I said as I looked at my parents, "Sleep well?" I asked.
"Yes," Mom said, but my parent's light purple bags below their eyes were an indicator that they had a tough time sleeping like I did. I walked up to them and gave both of them a big hug. They were surprised at first, but their arms wrapped around for my embrace and I whispered into their ears, "Thanks for everything, Mom, and Dad." They tightened their embrace until my mom slips away to head towards the kitchen. I heard the gas stove turned on and a crack of an egg being opened.
"Everyone gets an egg sandwich for breakfast," Mom said as she cracked three more eggs.
I smiled, "Thanks, mom." I open up my carry-on on the table to gather the snacks from the cabinet and stuffed them into my backpack. When I was finished, mom brought our plates to the table so we could dig in.
After we all had our breakfast, there was a knock on the door and I knew who it was. When I got to the entrance, I opened the door to see women dressed in a gray suit with a short skirt that hugged her thighs. I blushed as I was greeted with a smile from her, "Hello there Trey Hanway, I'm here to take you to the University of Arizona."
I happily ran back to my room to put on my shoes, made sure the necklace that Clover gave to me was around my neck and ran back to see that my parents were helping the driver to load the suitcase in the trunk of the limo. Grabbing my carry-on, I hug my sister for my departure, got a handshake from my dad and a kiss on the forehead by mom.
"Thanks for getting me here." I thanked as I opened the door.
"Have a good time, son," Dad said
"Don't you have any wild parties while you're away." Mom warned.
"Make sure you catch up and finish season 4!" Clover shouted at the top of her lungs.
The rest of us, including the driver, chuckled at her antics. I waved, "I'll make sure I'm a behaved individual when I'm over there." I reassured them as I closed the door to then roll down the window to wave, "Goodbye!!" The limo roared to when the driver turned the limo on as she put the car in reverse to pull out of the driveway onto the street. I saw and looked at my family standing behind our house as the limo drove away towards the highway.
One Hour Later
Clover was in her room at the time when Rachel and I were lying right next to each other. She had calmed down after seeing Trey go off to the University and had her arms around my neck while I was stroking her hair with a brush. Our pleasure ended suddenly when my cell phone rang on my desk. Much to my displeasure, I pull away from our warm embrace to answer the phone.
"Hello?" I asked.
"John?" It was my boss at Caltech.
"Yes, George?" I acknowledged my presence to him.
"There were magmatic quakes at Lampung and it's starting a chain reaction through the ring of fire." His voice was shaking.
"My god..." My phone ringed as I unlocked to receive Seismometer pictures from Lampung were increasing to an eight-point-five and climbing. The next image was Japan's Seismometers starting from a four to nine-point-five.
I nearly dropped my phone before George spoke, "It's making it's way to Alaska, just as we predicted when Krakatoa first erupt in 1883."
My wife looked at me when sweat was coming down my forehead, "So you're telling me it's heading towards us?"
There was silence between us both, the tension in the air of this major disaster that was tearing its way down the Aleutian trench towards the San Andreas Fault line. The only thing I was thinking now was my family and my son Trey. I gulped at my boss spoke, "There's nothing we can do. The government didn't say anything, but the news on television and internet are causing chaos across the world." He sighs as I heard him popping open a wine bottle, "Please spend time with your family, John. That's all I'm asking you."
I gripped my fist as I gritted my teeth, "Understood, sir."
He sighed, "It's not our fault that mother nature decided to strike back unexpectedly. It's kind of ironic actually, we attacked her unexpectedly with our greenhouse gasses and it's now going to bite us in the ass."
I chuckled suddenly, "It looks like mother nature is getting payback for all we did to her."
George chuckled at my remark, "Cheers to a future ice age. See you in the afterlife, John."
The phone went dead. I turned to see my wife knew what was going on and was devastated because she was never going to see Trey again. I sat next to her and rubbed my hands on her shoulders. "Let's spend time with Clover, Rachel." I kissed her cheek.
She tried to hold back her tears but nodded overall, "John..."
I shushed her and kissed her lips to comfort her, "Let's head to her room and spend time with our daughter. I know that our son is out there, but he has a better chance of surviving this." I hugged Rachel and she hugged back, "I'll try John. I'll try." She responded.
I got up to walk towards Clovers room while Rachel followed. I silently prayed to God for Trey's safety as we entered Clover's room. We sat on her bed as she looked at us, but smiled like nothing serious was going on.
"Hi, mommy and daddy!" She smiled as she was working on her clay piece.
"What are you working on sweetheart?" I asked putting on a small smile.
"I'm working on a gift to send to Trey." She showed us a clay wet plate, "We need to put our right hands on this and we can send him a dry plate with our handprints on it."
I could see Rachel tearing up as Clover tilted her head, "What's wrong mom?"
Rachel spoke, "No, it's just that we love the idea, Clover." She wiped her tears and continued, "Where do we put our hands?"
She giggled, "I'll put my hand in the middle and you can put yours on the sides."
I nodded as I placed my hand on the clay plate and pressed on it. "Your turn honey." Rachel did the same when Clover placed her hand in the center.
"Let's wish Trey luck for his travels," I said.
Clover nodded, "Let's make sure, he has the greatest time of his life."
Rachel sniffed, "Yes. Let's hope that can happen."
Then the earthquake sirens went off and we braced for impact.
Thirty Minutes Later
We stopped at the gas station at the city Quartzsite Arizona and I decided to open the trunk of the limo to see my carry-on so I could check my laptop inside. The trunk of the limo wasn't big enough for me to see anything. So I pulled out my carry-on to the ground, carried it inside the gas station, told the clerk about what I was doing before she asked anything and opened my suitcase. When opened, I pulled out my laptop and checked the screen, everything was still intact. It was then the news turned on the screen where the Megamillion lottery would show what the current jackpot is.
"We interrupt this network to bring you devastating news," The reporter was sweating, "An earthquake, that started at Lampung has started a chain reaction to the Pacific plate throughout the ring of fire. If there is anyone outside of California, please head to higher ground for-" The television was cut off when the earth started to shake beneath my feet.
I've been through some earthquakes before so I knew to hide under the desk next to the clerk while everyone else was screaming in panic. The shaking kept getting bigger and bigger as the ceiling above us started to crack. The floor began to crack under pressure. This quake lasted for twenty minutes until it subsided, leaving bits of mini aftershocks for a few seconds. I got up to see that everyone was gone from the shopping area. I glance down at the clerk to see that she was quivering while curled up in a ball.
I sighed as I got back to my belongings. My carry-on was still there on the floor and surprisingly, not buried by ceiling tiles or stolen. I zipped it up but realized that this Earthquake was widespread throughout the tectonic plate. I got down on my knees and covered my eyes as my tears went down my cheeks. 'They're dead.' I thought. The image of my family behind the house was being burned into my mind as my throat tightens. I gasp quietly to sob in my forearm. I looked up to the window and my blurred vision looked upon a wall of water that was around thirty feet high, heading right towards us. The client saw the wall of water and ran outside, I didn't care where she was going. My mind went blank when thinking about my family that had perished in the earthquake and tsunami.
I gripped my carry-on in anger and yelled out my groans of grief towards my mother, father, and sister. It was then my crying was interrupted by a light blue glow. I looked down to see that the crystal that Clover gave me was radiating on my chest. It was a warm feeling that spread all throughout my body, it relaxed my tension and grief, but my fear was still with me when I saw everything went slow motion. The wall tore the gas pumps into pieces as it crashed the front entrance into debris and I braced for the crushing wall of seawater.
The smell of sea water was diminished when I closed my eyes. That was it, I was dead. I immediately felt the wind rushing through my face and opened my eyes to see that I was in some sort of jungle. The fear of a crushing ocean and earthquake vanished, but it was replaced with the fear of being isolated in an unknown area. I couldn't feel my fists because they were white from gripping the carry on. I slowly calmed my breathing as I released my grip on my belonging and sat on my butt with a tree against my back.
I was dazed, there was nothing that came to mind. I sat there with the purple and pink light from the sunset as a bright sliver of sunlight shines on my face. I closed my eyes to see my family again behind the house, but when I opened them, the image disappeared. My throat got choked with sadness as my eyes streamed tears down my cheeks as I curled up into a ball and mourn the loss of my mom, dad and sister, Clover.
The night was already here and I didn't care whether my body was cold or not. Nothing came to mind when I was crying my eyes out, I couldn't answer the questions I gave myself while I was in a ball. Where was I at the moment? Why did I teleport from an ocean crashing wave to a jungle? Last important one was how I was going to survive by myself.

Sneaking into Canterlot Castle
The first thing that I heard was the noise of nature in the background, it was really peaceful. I opened my eyes to see nothing but dense forest. My carry-on was next to me as I moved my body to stretch. When I relaxed, I felt very parched. I grabbed my bag and went through it to find my bottle of soda. It was one of the bottles that I had for the trip to the University. I opened up the bottle and drank it greedily, I knew I had two more left after I finished this one. After finishing the drink halfway, I ate a granola bar and a bag of chips for breakfast. I recollected myself after my meal and glanced at my surroundings.
Again, just dense forests all around. There was no human trail anywhere, also no sign of the vines or plants being cut. In any case, I really could get lost if I just go a few feet and never find where I was before. I lean back and looked up the tree, the sun shined through the leaves as I came up with the idea. I got up and nearly trip due to my legs feeling numb from what happened at the gas station. Then a memory flashed into my mind of the crashing wave heading towards my helpless body. My grip nearly slipped on the branch from what I was feeling. I was internally freaking out from this entire experience and my body couldn't stop quivering when I moved my body.
I finally reached the top of the tree and looked at my surroundings. There were mountains to the north, flat plains to the south, more forests to the west and a small glance of an ocean to the east. I couldn't recognize the terrain at all. Out of all the places in the world, Japan, England, and Europe, there was nothing familiar that registered into my memories. After getting a glance at the land, I had to look for structures so I could head in that direction.
My eyes widened when I saw something unbelievable. A white castle sitting on the edge of the mountain and a glistening purple crystal castle in towards the north. It was the same castles in the show that I watch with my sister. I nearly fell back into the forest because my body became numb from the realization. What... How... When... An important question popped into my head, 'Why me?' I thought.
I was still quivering from the overwhelming feeling. Sitting on a thick branch, I calmed myself with a deep breath. I collected my shattered mind and feelings to think about what was going on. When my body was calmed through my breathing exercises, I spoke aloud and list what happened to me.
"I was in a gas station with an earthquake and tsunami that killed my family. I faced a death-crushing wave a few feet away from me. The crystal that Clover gave me glowed and it teleported me to Equestria...." I thought of what I just said to only ruffle up my hair in frustration and shouting, "THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!" The word sense echoed throughout the forest and some birds flew away into the sky.
I sighed in defeat because the power of magic in this world couldn't be explained. I climb down the tree, opened my laptop to find a map of Equestria. Eventually, I found my location with the memorization I saw from above the canopy. I had three choices to choose from; go to Twilight's Castle and explain what happened, go to Canterlot Castle and try to locate the princesses, or stay here and fend for myself against mythical creatures.
Pros for Twilight's Castle, instantaneously get connected with a Princess and establish that I'm here in Equestria. Cons, avoiding Ponyville will become a pain because I would stick out and will cause panic. Twilight's friends, especially Rainbow Dash, will see me as a monster and I would have to run for my life. Pros for Canterlot, again, establishing myself to this world and I can become friends with the two ruling Princesses. Cons, the Royal Guards might see me as a threat if I wasn't sneaking carefully. Then there is to fend for myself, and not get help whatsoever became an instantaneous answer of 'fuck that shit.'
I powered down and closed my laptop, put it away in my bag after deciding to head to Canterlot instead of heading to Ponyville. Putting my backpack on, I headed north towards the white castle. I was somewhat grateful for not having my suitcase with me because the wheels would have been gone with the vines, roots, and rocks that I had to dodge along the way. After an hour, I eventually reached the end of the forest and saw railroad track. I looked to my left, then to my right, there was no train in sight. However, I took a precaution and put my hand to feel the rail for any vibrations. Luckily, there wasn't any sign of a train coming my way.
Making my way down the tracks, I walked on the wooden planks to put some ease on my feet. I was able to walk faster towards the tunnel that was close by. I stopped at the entrance of the tunnel and looked up the mountain to see Canterlot Castle above me. I gulped again and looked around the tunnel to see if there was any 'pony made' trails that lead up to the castle. A few minutes, I found a set of stairs that was a bit steep, but I could take it. There was a moment where I thought I should leave my bag because it's gotten somewhat heavy. I asked myself why I brought it along with me and realized that this is what's left of what I have. This backpack or carry-on is the last possessions that I have from home. I shrugged as I decided to carry my backpack and walked up the stairs...
....To only regret it towards the end. My body wasn't really built to carry bags up a steep staircase up against a fucking mountain. I was only built on going to school and carrying my bag into my classroom. However, I did reach the top with what strength I had to only see a stone wall. There was a wide rocky and somewhat flat area where I could place my bag. When I did, I looked up and the castle was a few hundred feet above me. There was this sheer vertical cliff from the castle to where I was and I asked myself, "How in the world am I going to climb up there?" I didn't have any sort of mountain climbing gear and due to my body structure, I didn't have enough strength to climb up there.
Clearing some rocks aside to sit down to admire the sunset? I shook my head lightly as I realized this whole journey took a whole day to accomplished, but it was all for nothing. I sighed deeply as I let the sunset warm my body up before another night gets it cold. I scratched the back of my head as I thought about the convenient stairs that lead up to here and it only leads to a dead end. I opened my eyes and glanced at the flat vertical surface of the rock to see there was a faint glow on it. I slapped myself for my stupidity. This was a secret door that was kind of like Thorin's entrance to his castle from the Hobbit. The only difference was there was no keyhole, only a button that was next to a white illuminated wall that was shaped like a door. I pushed the button and the wall organically sunk into the cliff. The door split opened in the middle to open up an entrance. The wind rushed behind me as I grabbed my backpack and rushed into the dark and damp mountain.
The hallway from the door wasn't cramped as I thought, it was actually pleasant. The 'dark' hallway was lightly illuminated with some glowworms, which I wasn't too fussed about. When the hallway ended, I entered a small room where there was a hatch on the roof. Luckily, I found some rocks that were big enough to climb on to unlock this door. I unlocked the door and saw a set of stairs going up. I sighed as I moved my suitcase and carry-on up the door so I could carry them up more stairs. 'This beats trying to climb a vertical wall.' I thought as I tried to keep my eyes opened from the tiredness.
I didn't know how long I was climbing the stairs, but now I kind of feel like Mario climbing the endless stairs on Super Mario 64. I chuckled at my own misfortune when I finally saw the door illuminated with some wood burning torches. I quickly made my way up to stop suddenly to think about the situation. There could be a Royal Guard guarding the entrance to this entrance. With my free hand, I opened the door and peeked inside. To my surprise, there was nopony to be found. Either this was a secret entrance or the Royal Guards are on break. I walked inside and found out that the door, was in fact, part of the marble wall.
When I closed the door lightly and made sure I found the handle in case I needed a quick escape. Examining the room, I put my free hand over my mouth as I nearly gasped in astonishment. The room that I was in, was in fact, the Royal Throne Room for both the Day and Night Court. I gazed at the glass panes that explained the adventures that the main six were on. I placed my suitcase and backpack behind the royal seat but heard the double doors open from the front entrance. I held my breath as I sat right behind the seat. It was either the Royal Guards on their patrol or it could be the princesses themselves.
"Tell me again why you must assist me on the Night Court?" A familiar voice asked.
"You know as well as I do, last evening, something foreign came from the Everfree Forest. While you were waking up, I had to inform Twilight about it so she could investigate." A warm motherly tone explained.
'Holy crap.' I thought. The Solar and Lunar Princess are in the same room with me. My heart was beating repeatedly as I tried to calm myself down from the nervousness and excitement of this situation. I literally had to hold my mouth with my hand so I could breathe lightly so they couldn't hear me. They continued.
Luna sighed, "I understand that you're trying to protect me from this anomaly, but shouldn't you be worried about the creature who used our secret exit?"
I nearly exploded the word 'HOW?!' by letting out a big sigh. How could they have found me so soon? Though to be fair, I didn't take a shower last night so I might smell like sweat and a bit of forest. I decided to not avoid the problem and spoke my mind.
"You are very perspective Luna and I respect that very much. Celestia, I might be that foreign being you're looking for." I said.
"Who are you?" Luna spoke first.
I sighed, "I am nobody, to be honest, I was somehow teleported to your land of Equestria from my world that is suffering a huge disaster on a tectonic level."
There was silence between us until the solar princess spoke, "Can you reveal yourself to us? We're curious about you."
I chuckled slightly and I said, "Can I have your word that you won't hurt me in any way?" There was silence, I gripped my knees to where my knuckles are turning white and I continued, "My mind is trying to settle down after what happened last night and if I was put into the dungeons of this castle, I don't think I could stay sane for very long."
"I don't sense any harm coming from you and I have no reason to strike upon a creature that is defenseless," Celestia reassured me.
I sighed as I stood up and carefully walked towards them. As I made my way, I noticed that the goddesses were the same height as I was, except for their horns of course. I was shaking when I stood in front of them and didn't know what to say. I just looked at them in awe as the world seemed to slow down around me.
"Are you alright?" Luna spoke to end the silence.
I breathed in and out to calm down, "I don't think I am."
"What do you mean?" Celestia asked.
I smiled a bit, "I don't think I've introduced myself, my name is Trey, I'm a human from a planet named Earth and I've somehow teleported to your world through a near traumatic death experience."
They looked at one another as I continued, "My family lived near the coast and I was on my way to a University. When we stopped by the nearest city, there was a huge earthquake that shook everything and I was meeting face to face with a wall of seawater." I held out my crystal that was hiding under my shirt, "This crystal glowed and teleported me into the Everfree Forest and I wanted to find you to immediately so I can tell you that I'm not a threat whatsoever."
There was a nice silence between us three and they seemed to take it well. Celestia showed her warm smile as she headed towards me, "I suppose you had this all planned then?"
I nodded, "Yes, but I really didn't expect to walk into a secret entrance of this wonderful room."
Luna giggled lightly, "Celestia and I used that room when we were fillies and young mares. We would usually disguise ourselves as our subjects to see how our world would be evolving."
"Lulu, not so loud near the guards," Celestia warned.
Luna stuck out her tongue to her, "There are no guards near here, they're in a party with Shining Armor."
I raised my eyebrow, "I'm sure not all the guards are there to have a party, surely there has to be some left to guard the castle?" I wondered.
Celestia nodded, "Shining Armor is on vacation and needed to get away from being a Prince of the Crystal Empire for several days before returning to his wife."
"Cadance?" I asked.
"Yes..." Luna answered, "I'm curious about how you know about us so much because I don't sense any kind of magic on you that could read our minds."
I blushed a bit from embarrassment, "Well, I know you all from watching, to be honest." They raised an eyebrow as I continued, "I suppose you have theater plays?" I wondered.
"Yes, but I don't see how this will explain anything." Celestia wondered.
I cleared my throat, "Let's just say I've been watching you play out a story with Twilight as the main character of the play. She became friends with Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Pinkie Pie to eventually defeat Nightmare Moon. I've followed all of their adventures with you both and Cadance watching over Equestria. The last time I watched this 'play' was when Twilight became a Princess when completing Starswirl the Bearded's spell. Then the disaster happened and now here I am with knowledge of this world." There was silence and before Celestia or Luna could ask I raise an arm up and spoke, "Am I a threat to you? No, I am not. Will I be using this information for evil use? Nope, I'm not that kind of guy whatsoever."
Luna had her jaw dropped from my explanation as Celestia looked at me right in the eyes, "I can sense that you are an honest gentlecolt and I don't see why you shouldn't stay here and be our guest until you get settled. Don't you agree, Lulu?"
Luna shook her head a bit, "Sorry, Trey's explanation seems a bit unreal. It might take me a while for me to take this in."
I raised my hand, "I'm just as confused as you are."
Celestia looked at the sun and nodded, "Let's lead you to a guest room so you can settle down and rest for the next day."
It took us several minutes to walk around the castle to the living quarters where the guest rooms were. We walked up the stairs when I recognized the room that I was going into. It was Rarities room when she was staying at Canterlot that one time, but the furniture was rearranged a bit. I looked around the room to see a half bath (toilet and sink room) to my left, a king size bed in the middle and a desk to my right.
"Will this be alright until we find a permanent solution for you?" Celestia asked.
I nodded as Luna brought my bag into her magical grasp and placed them next to my desk. I could tell that she was curious about these items, but she was stopped when Celestia cleared her throat. Luna composed herself and trotted along out the door saying, "I'll be starting Night Court Tia."
Celestia lightly nodded her head, but smiled as well, "I'll leave you for tonight."
I bowed a bit to her, "Goodnight, Celestia."
She smiled from that, "Goodnight Trey."
I closed the door when she left the room as I stood next to the dresser to take in what just happened. It was then I noticed the carpet of Luna's Moon and Celestia's Sun in the center of a twilight colored background.
"Unfucking real." I sighed as I walked forward to my bag that was placed near the desk.
I grabbed my carry-on, opened it, to only find a note and a medium sized gift box. I started to tremble when I saw the familiar wrapping paper that was used for my families Christmas presents. I looked at the note and read it's contents:
'Trey,
We are so proud that you made it this far so early in your life. We love you so much that we decided to give you a gift for the days your not studying. Make sure you get out there to change the world for the better.
Love,
Mom and Dad.
P.S. Hey! This is your sister Clover! Don't forget to skype me so we can watch MLP episodes together.'
I nearly crippled the note and dropped it to the floor instead to form my hand into a fist. My breath was shortened, my heart as pounding, tears were streaming down my cheeks as my knees buckled and I fell to the floor. I sobbed into my hands as my body naturally curled up into a ball. My carry-on fell to its side and the gift fell next to my face. I lie there on the floor, staring at my present that we stuffed into my backpack, the image of my family still in my memories. It was then the door opened and I kept my eyes shut, I looked like a pathetic loser whoever is coming to see me.
"Oh." It was Celestia's voice sounding surprised at me, "What happened?" I turned my body to the other side and looked at her.
"I-I..." I tried to speak, but my throat wasn't cooperating. I covered my face with my hands and started to sob into them as I heard her walking towards me.
I felt a magical glow warming my body I opened my blurry eyes to see Celestia's sympathetic face as she covered her right wing over me. She sighed, "You've been through so much in your first hours here and I believe you need rest." I didn't feel tired at first, but then I yawned like I haven't slept for so long. My eyes got heavy as I fell into a deep sleep.
The moment Trey went to sleep, I levitated him to the guest bed. I glanced at his face with concern, even though he didn't show it through his resting face, he was suffering from the inside. Once the final blanket covered his body, I picked up the gift-wrapped box to the desk with the note next to it. I didn't read the note because I respected his privacy. After everything was settled, I trot out of the room so I could meet up with Luna.
It didn't take me long to enter the two front doors of the Night Court. Luna sat on the Royal Chair with her Thestral Royal Guards by her sides as I walked up to her.
"How's our guest?" Luna asked as she looked through some paperwork.
I closed my eyes, "I didn't want to bring it up to him when we first sensed his distress," I sighed, "However, we should have talked to him about his grief. Trey was crying out of sadness and grief." I looked at my sister, "Could you visit his dreams and give him some comfort?"
"Tia," Luna spoke as she set the papers aside with her aura, "I've been concerned about him when he first came into our Castle. Not only is he in distress, somehow he knows about us and our world, but he is clearly holding back a secret that has peaked my interests." She sighed and looked at the glass window to her left, "To answer your question, I'll see what I can do when I'm in the dreamscape in a few hours."
I smiled to what she said, "Thank you, sister," I covered my mouth with my hoof as I yawned, "Oh before I turn in for the night, have you informed your Night Royal Guard about our guest?"
Luna nodded, "I've already informed them and they understand the situation." I nodded as she continued, "Now you have to inform your Day Royal Guards and the Maids for the morning."
"Thank you and goodnight, Lulu," I said as I turned my back to trot towards the doors.
"Goodnight, Tia," Luna said as I heard the sound of ruffled papers.
As I made my way to my room, I glanced at the tower where Trey was sleeping at. I just couldn't help but wonder what kind of experience that he had to go through. 'That will be for another day, Tia.' I thought as I entered my living quarters. I took off my regalia and crown with my magic to set them aside on the dresser. I used a fire magic spell on the fireplace to set the new logs, that was put by the maids, and ignite them to warm up the area. Once that was finished, I lie down on my bed as I looked at the starry sky before I finally went to sleep knowing that my little ponies are resting and relaxing for the evening.
Author's Note
What do you guys think? I think I'm doing very well in rebooting this. Here is a comparison for this chapter. A lot more dramatic in this one isn't it?
Mourning Dream and Breakfast Talk
Author's Note
After some heavy world-building, I finally was able to release the next chapter of Transformation. I decided since this old story had SO many plotholes, I had to go to each and individual one and address them. The MAIN issue was Trey's almost non-existent depression and sorrow that he should have felt when his parents and little sister died during that Earthquake and Tsunami. I'm going to drop the link to the old chapter here if you want to check it out. Also, I want to you guys to know that from here on out, the flow of the old Transformation is going to change and I hope you're enjoying this remake. Look forward to the next chapter in August.
Meeting with the Princess's
Mourning Dream and Breakfast Talk
"Princess Luna," My advisor spoke, "Do you need to finish those parchments so quickly?"
Ink Quill is my nightly advisor for the Royal Court. She was in her normal uniform with her light red mane in a ponytail while her glasses were pushed up with her light blue aura.
I froze my signing of the second last paper and sighed, "To answer your question, Ink Quill, I wasn't signing them quickly, I was reading quickly with a spell I used when Celestia left the room."
"Doesn't that eventually affect your body, Princess?" Ink Quill asked.
I shook my head, "Only if you're constantly using it every day by the minute. I only use it occasionally so I can get these papers signed." I glanced at the last two and scoffed at the titles, "Like here, all the parchments were fine, until I see these two." I pass the two papers to Ink Quill.
"You don't want the miners to continue their mining near the Dragons Mountain?" She wondered.
"Not only is it dangerous, but most of the mountains are volcanos that could erupt at any moment of time." I cleared my throat before Ink ask's, "I'm also not approving our subjects to be destroying the EverFree Forest. If the Forest was gone, then the creatures that live there would want to retaliate or cause harm."
She smiled then folded the parchments and tucked them into her right saddle bag while shrinking the rest to the left, "I'll turn those in for the night and I guess you're going to help those who are struggling to sleep?"
"You know me too well, Ink Quill." I smiled, "How was your vacation?"
She looked at me and smiled, "I found an author that finally suits my kind of reading."
I pursed my lips at her, "I don't mean to pry, but can you tell me who this author is and what he has written?"
She blushed slightly, "H-His name is Frozen Quill. A nice Pegasus, with a story about a princess that adopts a fox from this merchant. He has potential and I just love the way he writes. He's about to release a new story about an alchemist and a different princess who fall in love while doing research."
I smiled at her giddiness, "Why don't you take the rest of the night off so you can receive your new story from this stallion. I believe the Night Court will be closing shortly because I need to tend to my subjects dreams."
"Of course Princess Luna," She bowed and looked at me, "And thank you." She quickly galloped away out of the room to which I lightly chuckled at.
I quickly turn my attention to the Thestral Guards inattention, "The Night Court shall be closed for the night, I shall retire to my chambers." I informed them and they gave a nod.
As I made my way to my bedroom, I look to my right to see the guest room tower where Trey was sleeping in. 'I wonder what kind of personality or dreams he has.' I thought as I paced into my room. My horn closed the doors behind me as I teleported my regalia off my body and I plopped myself on my bed. The magic of my flowing mane turned back to its regular light blue mane and my horn levitated my blanket, which was folded up at the edge, and wrapped it around my body.
Closing my eyes, I used my dream jumping spell, to allow myself to observe different dreams from subjects, my body was in a white room. There wasn't anything special about it, but it was where I cleared my mind before walking into different subjects dreams. With this white room, there is no door and all I have to do is think of the individual that I would like to observe or assist and they're door will appear. I thought of the human that was in the current guest room and his door appeared on the wall across from me.
My eyes widened when I saw it. His door was a thick metal wall with eight large chains that prevent it from being open and at the center, there was a huge keyhole. This obviously means that Trey doesn't trust others and that he has personal issues, which is a given due to the fact that his family died in a major disaster. I walked up to the door and rest my hoof on the metal door. With my magic, I was able to unlock the door, but it was tedious when I did it. I've done this to many ponies across Equestria, using my magic on their doors when they're locked so I could give my therapy lessons to the distressed. However, Trey's door took some time to maneuver to unlock.
The door made an audible click when it was unlocked, the chains disappeared, the metal material faded into a regular white open wooden door. With the creak of the hinges, the door opens to a room of dark purple void. It was natural that a pony wouldn't be dreaming of anything of interest for the first hour of sleep, but it had been more than three hours since Trey went to sleep. This made me confused at first, but I brush it off and flew into the void. The void seemed to go on forever but was interrupted when my whole body became emerged in water.
'Very strange indeed.' I thought as a light from above was the illumination of the moon. As I levitated myself out of the water, it disappeared before me as it turned to a large grassy field. It was at first windy, but then the weather changed it to pouring rain. I flew across the field to see a depression on the grass. When I inspected it further, I see Trey lying on the field. The clothes were soaked, his features were expressionless and with the disguise of the rain, tears were streaming down his cheek.
I walked up to him and my horn illuminated the area, "Trey?" I asked for his attention.
There was no response, the only thing I got was when his eyes blinked. I blinked as I looked into the sky and was about to clear the weather until he spoke, "Please..." I gasped.
I looked down at him as he continued, "I don't want to see they're faces again. Just please let me be."
I sighed, "You're never going to be better if you wallow in your own sadness." He blinked again, "I know what it's like to lose a family, a mother, and a father, but you have to stop hurting yourself over something you couldn't prevent."
"I should have stayed with them and declined the ride to the University. Then I would have died with them." Trey spoke weakly.
I rest my hoof on his shoulders, "Don't you think like that. It will do you no good in the future." I cast a spell to make the gloomy and pouring weather to a bright sunny day. The warmness dried Trey's clothing as I grabbed his hand with my levitation to sit him up.
I looked at his face when I sat down in front of him, it was horrible. He looked empty and emotionless, the death of his family really wasn't going away in his mind. I pondered how I was going to fix this or, in fact, to heal some of his sadness.
"What can I do to help you?" I asked him.
He said nothing at first, but his mouth opened, "I want to say goodbye to them for the last time." He croaked.
I frowned slightly as I rest my hoof on his shoulder, "That can be arranged."
Trey lifts his head up as tears were streaming down his cheeks while my horn touched his head to arrange the dreamscape to his liking. The amount of remorse and grief for his family was immense, however, with this single dream, he’ll be able to remember all the good times he had with them and hope to forgive himself.
I felt all my sadness and tight chest become less tense allowing me to breathe normally. I opened my eyes, tears were still streaming, however, it seemed to slow. Ahead of me was a long winding path made from various materials. Glancing around, I saw nothing but the dark void behind me.
“Do not worry Trey,” Luna’s voice echoed, “you’re still in a dream. I constructed everything for you, all you have to do is step forward.”
I blinked and looked at my hands as they began to blur. “I don’t know if I can face them Luna…” Looking up, I can see Luna facing me with a sincere smile.
“You need to face it or you’re never going to let it go.” She informed, “Would it be better if I joined you?” I nodded very quickly as I wiped the tears from my eyes, “Very well,” The Lunar Princess gestured, “Come.”
Luna stepped forward as I did. Step by step, we continued our way down the path. The ground beneath our feet was turning into dirt with leaves piling up, the ‘void’ was turning into a forest that was beginning to feel familiar. The smell of beef stew filling my lungs as I saw two tents sitting on flat land. It was filled with mine and my family’s belongings.
“This is…” I thought about it as the name popped up, “Yellowstone Park.”
My legs began to feel like jelly as we continued down the road and pass through a wall of tall grass that was up to my waist. When I passed through first, my jaw dropped to see the beautiful sunset that was reflected on the lake. At the shore was myself at ten, my younger baby sister and my parents splashing water into one another.
“You can’t catch me!” My younger self-shouted.
“I bet I can!” Dad shouted with a playful roar.
“Run away from the bear Trey!” Mom giggled as she sat on the shore with my baby sister making sand castles with the wet sand.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” Luna asked from behind.
I didn’t bother turning around, “Y-Yes… It was one of the best vacations before life took over and…” I gripped my hands into fists.
“Before you start blaming yourself, it’s not your fault. It’s no pony’s fault that you mysteriously showed up for no reason.” Luna spoke sincerely.
“I-I know… The whole disaster wasn’t my fault… I know that I couldn’t stop it… I still feel bad for them dying… H-However…” I took a deep breath and breathed out as a small smile warmed my face, “However, seeing them like this is making me feel a little better.”
“Then why stop there.” She said gesturing her hoof towards the path once more.
Nodding, I went down that path and the thick woods slowly turned into the void. I glanced around and saw memories of different moments passing by like tv screens. My chest felt tight as moments of my childhood were going past. My first time going to kindergarten, my parents encouraging me to go and enjoy myself. Clover being born at the hospital and I could hold her in my hands. My first detention in high school for fighting back and they defended me for who was in the right. Clover and I connecting through watching My Little Pony.
That screen, in particular, the path and opened up through. I was standing in the living room with Luna looking around curiously. I looked at my sister and I laying down watching the second season.
“Do you want to go there?” Clover asked me.
“What?” I said as my mind wandered.
“Equestria, do you want to go?” She smiled.
I gulped as I mouth his answer, “Yes, but I’d like to bring you and our parents with us.”
“Hmmm, don’t take me with you,” Clover said as both ourselves eyes widened.
“What?! What do you mean?”
My sister giggled, “I mean it would be nice, but you seem to be more into it. Plus, I don’t think mom and dad would enjoy it much.”
“I would miss-“ Clover covered his mouth with her finger.
“Even if you do go by yourself, and can’t come back, like those stories online, don’t worry about it.” She smiled as she let go, “Pinkie Promise me that you won’t be a crying mess like I was when I came back with a failing grade.”
He was silent, how did I forget something like this? I clenched my fists, “I was so full of grief that this memory was…”
“In our moments of grief,” Luna spoke, “memories such as this, are phased out and forgotten. I see your sister didn’t mind you going.”
“I know but-“
“I Pinkie Promise!” I look at myself, “Cross my heart, and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.” He stuck his eye and groaned in pain as Clover giggled.
“Silly brother.” Clover chuckled.
Just then my parents came back through the front door, “What’s this about a promise?”
Clover spoke out as myself was covering his eyes, “Trey made a promise that if he went to Equestria, he won’t be sad for us not going with him.”
“Oh, Trey,” Mom spoke as she set groceries down on the kitchen counter, “That’s a very big promise, I’m sure you’ll miss us, but if you did go there, I’d say live your life as you want to be.”
“Like your mother said, even if it wasn’t Equestria and it was a different location on Earth, you have to get used to not being around us at some point son,” Dad said taking a drink of grape soda.
I land on my knees, “This… Whole thing… How can I…” I was lost for words as this memory played out.
“But I’ll miss you.” He said as he got up to his feet.
Mom walked towards me and pressed her finger against my heart, “We’ll always be inside your heart and memories Trey, never forget that.”
“I did forget mother…” I sniffed as I felt my vision blurring.
I felt a hoof resting on my back I turn to Luna and gave her a hug, “I’m a terrible person, forgetting about this… It’s horrible.” I sobbed into her shoulder.
“Shhh…” Luna calmed me as she stroked her hoof against my back, “There, there, it’s alright, the moment I saw these emotion locked memories, I had to let you see them again.” I looked up and our eyes locked, “Judging on how I’m using less magic to stabilize your dreamscape, I’d say you’re feeling better.”
“I am feeling better…” I gripped Luna’s fur, “But… I… Even though I forgot that certain memory, I’ll still miss them…”
“May I tell you something, dear Trey?” She asked as I stayed silent, “I’m still missing my father and mother even to this day. Even though I was still sad, I had to move on to take care of my own subjects. It isn’t easy, I know, but with time and accepting that their gone, it will make the process a lot better.” She put her hoof under my chin, “So please, do this, for me at the very least.”
I glanced back to see myself hugging with my family in a group hug. I sniffed as I wiped my snot on my shirt, “L-Luna…” I gave her a small smile, “I-I… I will… For you...”
Luna’s smile was all I saw when everything seemed to fade and blur into darkness. My wet eyes flutter open and I was in the guest room of the Canterlot Castle. I get up and realized that my clothing was damp with my sweat and the pillow was drenched in tears. Uncovering myself, I got up, grabbed my fresh pair of clothing from my bag, and groggily walked towards the bathroom. To which I forgot that it was a half bath, to begin with. Not wanting to be in dirty clothing, I changed into my spare clothing and splashed some hot water on my face.
Once I was finished, I made my way to my carry-on that had the wrapped gift on top. I sighed as I felt a little bit of sadness when I thought of my parents and Clover. However, I smiled as I ripped open the gift. It was a small box with a picture frame of my family and behind it was a solar charger that was in its plastic wrapping. I chuckled slightly as I stuffed the charger into my carry-on and set the picture frame on the table.
I looked at the photo and rest my hand on the bottom of my chin and sighed, "I think......" I lift my head and shook it, "No, I'm going to be fine."
After granting Trey's wish with a dream, I tended to the rest of the Royal Subjects that were struggling as well. Eventually, when I awoke, I felt rested. Although, I felt very damp from sweating. Getting out of bed, I walked to the washroom to splash off some sweat. Once I was refreshed, I made my way towards the dining area but stopped to find Trey who was being escorted by a Royal guard.
I quickly made my way towards him to take a look at his mental state from his appearance. "Good morning Trey," I said look at him when his attention turned to me. From what I could tell, he was at peace. His smile glowed to where there wasn't a hint of any sadness. "How are you this-" I stopped when his arms went around my neck for a hug. I nearly gasped at the sudden surprise, although, I accepted this warm embrace and wrapped my hoof around his back.
"Thank you." He said.
I smiled against his shoulder, "You're welcome."
He let go and wiped his watery tears with his arms, "I mean it... It was such a great feeling to say goodbye to them." He sighed, "I feel great and I'm going to move forward to the future."
"I'm glad you feel that way. It's not every day I get to experiment with the dream arrangement of another species."
He sighed deeply, "You sure there isn't a spell to actually see them?"
I giggled, "Oh heavens no, that would take a tremendous amount of magical power to not only bring them back but bridge the gap between the two universes.“
"Ah, I guess it would have been too easy then."
I covered my mouth with my hoof, "Oh, sorry, I forgot that you know about this world, however, not a lot of its knowledge or context."
He nodded, "Pretty much, I know about you, Celestia, Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and others. Although, what happens in the background is really fair game on the learning curve. Like the dreamscape you used and not using a spell that's impossible to cast."
Then an idea popped into my head to which I smiled, "Shall we head to the dining area? Celestia and I would love to talk to you about what you know."
He shrugged his shoulders a bit, "Sure, if anything we can ask questions back and forth."
I nodded as we walked into the dining room where Celestia was sitting next to Discord? I tilted my head to the side and wondered what he could be doing here at this time of day.
Tia saw us coming in, "Good morning Luna, Trey."
Trey waved his hand to Discord and Tia, "Morning Celestia." He looks at Discord like he's known him as a friend, "Greetings Discord, ruler of Chaos."
Discord teleported to Trey and took a look at him, "Interesting... I can't sense any sort of magic within him." He tapped his chin lightly, but shrugged his shoulders overall, "I believe this being here is from a different world from our own."
Trey snapped his fingers and smiled, "Correct! Everything that was created in my world was a fantasy, but here I am, somehow magically teleported to your world."
Discord raised an eyebrow to which made me hold back my laughter. It was quite amusing that Trey knows about Discord, but the Chaos god doesn't know him whatsoever.
Discord hummed as he stroked his chin, "Very well if you know so much about me then tell me something only Twilight and her friends know about me."
Trey took a deep breath and spoke aloud, "Well, technically, you separated them through your tyranny and manipulation, learned that friendship is magic, got to feel what it's like to be betrayed, and the feeling of jealousy." My mouth and Tia's dropped at this, but he continued, "And you didn't tell the princesses about what you learned? Shameful of you Ruler or Chaos, shameful."
I caught Tia giggling at the back as Discord's finger dropped down as if it was part of a fragile statue. He sighed, "Fair enough, you know about me, but not my personal life."
Trey shrugged, "What happens in the background, isn't my business."
"Alright you two," Celestia spoke and all three of us turned our attention to her, "Let's settle down and have breakfast shall we?"
Discord coughed into his fist, "Before we do that, I have to discuss something with you, Celestia." He twiddled his fingers a bit, "In private?"
Tia nodded as Trey and I sat across from one another. It was then Discord snapped his fingers and my sister and the Draconequus disappeared into thin air. The chef, with a grey coat, came up to Trey. He was wearing his chef uniform while having his green mane in a hair net.
"Good morning, Princess Luna and guest." He greeted, "What would you like to have for breakfast?"
I noticed that Trey gulped nervously as he gestured to him and whispered into his ear. I didn't catch what he said, but the chef almost turned green at the moment and shook his head.
The chef nervously chuckled when his eyes land on mine, "Um... I believe you have to consort that with the Griffon chef for the afternoon if that will be alright."
Trey nodded, "It's fine. I'll have some scrambled eggs, one muffin, two slices of toast, one glass of milk and one glass of orange juice."
I pursed my lips a bit at his order and nodded, "I'll have what our guest is having."
The chef bowed and quickly made a dash to the kitchen while saying, "I'll go ahead and get those orders cooked and ready for you asap."
Now there was silence between us. Tia and Discord were nowhere in sight and Trey was admiring the room itself as if a foal was in a candy shop.
"You know that Celestia and Discord might be hooking or already hooked up," Trey spoke as he rested his chin on his hand.
I raised an eyebrow, "How so?"
He smiled, "If there is anything that my mom and dad taught me, it was body language." He waved his hand up a bit, "Say for instance when was the last time you saw Celestia and Discord in the same room together?"
I tapped my chin lightly, "I can't think of anything really. Other than the Gala, I can't really recall...." I gasped a little, "So something must have happened at the Gala?"
Trey nodded, "Your assumption is as good as mine, but we can't pry on the subject. If you must ask her, then ask her in private, I don't want to get in the way of anything."
I smiled, "Well you did make the first assumption so, in a way, you're already involved."
Scratching the back of his head as he chuckled, "I suppose that's true." He shrugged, "Oh well."
We laughed a bit at one another until something perked my interests, "Can I ask you two questions, Trey?"
"Sure?" He asked.
"What did you ask our chief about that made him so green?" I asked.
He cleared his throat, "Well I'm an omnivore. I can eat meat, vegetables, and fruit."
My eyes widened at this, "I suppose you don't eat ponies do you?"
He shook his head immediately, "Oh sweet Celestia no. I can eat vegetable and fruit for a short time, but eventually, I need the protein from the meat to survive."
I nodded at his explanation, "Well if that is what you need it to survive, much like the Griffons, then I don't see any objection to that."
He sighed with relief, "Well that's good to hear, to say the least."
"Now for my second question: When you said those things to convince Discord that you knew him more than he did, could you possibly do this to me as well?" I wondered.
He clasped his hands together on the table, "You saying that you don't believe me?"
I didn't move my head, "I do have my doubts...."
He sighed, "No, it's fine. It's going to be a while before I gain everyponies trust." Trey sighed as he took a breath, "Princess Luna, co-ruler of Equestria, dream walker of the night, corrupted by Nightmare Moon, saved by the Elements of Harmony, and learning it was alright to scare foals during Nightmare Night."
I pursed my lips in amusement, "So you do know about me, but not my personality."
Trey chuckled slightly while he scratched his chin, "That's right. I know the majority of each character and what they have achieved at the time of what I watched the play."
The doors to the kitchen open as the chef and a few waiters show up with our meals. The food itself was steaming, indicating it was fresh from the pan and oven. I noticed the waiters were eyeing Trey and were trying to hold off some type of expression towards him. When our plates and beverage were set in front of us, my nostrils got a full smell of the scrambled eggs, muffin and toast made my mouth water slightly.
I cleared my throat, "Thank you head chef, you are excused until further notice."
"Yeah, thanks for the meal." Trey showed his appreciation with a smile.
"Princess," He bowed, but looked at Trey, "Peasant."
I narrowed my eyes at him and he saw me, "I-I mean... Pleasant guest." He and the waiters made their quick retreat back into the kitchen.
I sighed as my hoof went over my forehead as I heard Trey digging into his plate. "Don't worry about it." He said as he finished a drink of his milk.
I looked at him with sympathy, "You mean you're not offended what the chef said?"
When Trey finished his first toast he frowned a bit, "What? It is the truth, right? I'm just a peasant in a royal palace. I can be a man and take it."
"I'm sorry, but the last time that happened was when Twilight and her friends were here last and the same chief did the same comment to them as to you. It almost turned into a fight between him and Rainbow Dash." I explained.
He waved his arm as he hummed with food in his mouth. He swallowed, "Again, it's no big of a deal. Anypony can comment on what status I'm in, what I look like or why I shouldn't be here because I'm actually living and breathing my fantasy by being with you or with anypony. If that makes any sort of sense."
"You're saying that if I were to insult you, which I wouldn't dream of doing, you wouldn't hold a grudge?" I wondered.
He finished his milk and continued on his scrambled eggs, "Yep, it's because I see everypony or anyone else as an equal." He answered.
Trey, a human that has the sense of who or what has the title of nobility and wasn't didn't pay any attention to it. Instead to see them as his equal. That's why he was talking to Tia and myself so casually when he was hiding behind the royal chair. I took several bites of my scrambled eggs and thought, 'Having Trey around and talking to Tia and I casually would be a nice breather from being called a Princess from everypony else.'
I smiled as I finished my last piece of toast, "Well I can't object to that Trey. I think we're going to be great friends."
"I like the sound of that, Luna." He smiled back.
Having breakfast and chatting with the Lunar Princess really made me a very happy man. In fact, I think nothing could ever get me down if it weren't for the death of my family still lingering behind me. I knew it was going to take time overall to let them go because it doesn't just take a single dream to get over my mourning and depression. It raised my spirits to say goodbye to my family, which I think everybody on Earth should have this type of dream to get through their grief. After Luna headed out to catch up on some sleep, she gave me a badge to wear around my neck. It was just like a convention plastic badge with Celestia's and Luna's cutie marks on it. Luna explained that it should give me access to the majority of the castle but told me that I shouldn't go outside because Celestia was taking care of things about my arrival.
When she left, I explored the castle like a small child exploring a huge mall for the first time. There were some places that were familiar to me, such as the courtyard where Spike told everypony to be quiet because Twilight needed sleep. Other than that, it was whole new ball game when I discovered the entrance of their library. I knew I was going to lose myself in the sea of knowledge if I stepped inside. Taking some lefts, then rights, I finally got to the familiar garden where the maze was located. Right next to the entrance was a pond where the Solar Princess herself was relaxing on a blanket whilst signing some paperwork.
I was taken aback by her being here rather than sitting in the courtroom, but when I thought about it, I came to two conclusions. One, it was either she was catching up on paperwork from yesterday. Two, there was nopony to come to the courtroom due to my appearance or a holiday. Whatever the case, I walked towards her with her royal guards watching my back and I cleared my throat to get her attention.
She signed her paper and turned to me, "Oh, Trey. What brings you here?"
I see the blanket was a big enough to sit next to her, "Well you see, I was exploring the castle and I'm just trying to take this all in. So I was wondering if I could... Sit next to you and relax?"
She put a light smile, "I see no objection to your reasoning, have a sit."
I plopped my butt on the blanket and looked up at the sky. There were a few clouds here and there, but it was something I haven't seen in a while back at home. These fluffy clouds moving in the sky and a few flying Pegasi either passing by or monitoring the weather.
"How are you liking your stay?" Celestia asked.
"All I can say is that I'm a lot happier than I was last night," I say making Celestia frown a bit.
"I'm sorry..."
I smiled and pat her shoulder, "Don't worry about it, Luna already took care of some of my depression during my first night here."
When I touched her shoulder the frown she gave disappeared, "So she gave you a form of consoling?"
"She used the dreamscape so I could say goodbye to my family. To tell you the truth, I would have been more lethargic if Luna didn't use that."
"Did you thank her?"
I nodded as I laid back, "I gave her a friendly hug and a few words to show my appreciation."
She was at first quiet for a few moments, but continued our conversation, "The one thing that has made my mind wander is how Equestrian Magic could have worked on you."
I gave a confused expression at first but realized she was talking about the Luna's dream magic. "I don't know either, but I can tell you something about our mythology from our past to explain."
"Go on."
"I believe when Equestria was in the era of its own middle ages like knights, royal families, old English or Equestrian and guild. In my world, they had these stories about magic, fairies, Unicorns and some creatures that made the historians of the present confused about the matter. It's all very hazy when I'm telling it orally, but if I had the book on me, it would explain much more." I explained.
"Interesting to say the least, here's a question to you then that has left me curious. Why is it you treat Luna and me so casually unlike our subjects?"
I scratched the back of my head as I explained what I told Luna during our breakfast and from what I could tell she seemed to smile a bit more when I told her that I treat anyone or anypony as my equal.
When I finished I asked my question, "What were you a Discord talking about when you left?"
She seemed to lightly blush a bit, but then again the sun was shining on our faces so I couldn't tell, "Discord took me out for brunch after we discussed the status of Equestria as a whole."
"I suppose that's important." I yawn as I closed my eyes slightly.
There was a flame noise close to me, when I opened my eyes, I saw that Celestia was reading a letter, "Is it from Twilight?" I asked.
Celestia nodded, "I've sent a letter to her about your arrival and she is arranging a trip with her friends to come to the castle tonight."
"Could you send a reply to Twilight that I said hi and congrats on becoming a princess?" I asked.
She raised an eyebrow for a moment then realized what I was talking about, "You mean you saw Twilight being crowned as a Princess?"
I snapped my fingers while I nodded, "I did."
"Well, I'll write it now." She teleported a parchment and a quill with an inkwell.
I nodded as I closed my eyes and felt the cool breeze going over me and Celestia. I nearly went to sleep but Celestia teleported the letter with a light pop which woke me up. I sit up and stretched my back, arms, and neck hearing another popping noise from Celestia.
"Yep," I yawned, "Always on top of things."
Celestia giggled, "Yes, even though she's a princess now, she still has the stigma when I was her mentor and she was the student." She read through and smiled, "Twilight's response is filled with questions about you now."
"There is a lot of things that she doesn't know about me, but then again, I know more about her, which is pretty eerie when I think about it." I pondered.
I glance at Celestia's face and her assistant was already next to her. I nearly jumped out of my sitting position from the sudden popping into existence. She was whispering into her ear, Celestia nodded then turned to me.
"I'm afraid I must return to the Day Court, there is a line forming of vendors." She stood up as I did so we could look face to face, "The party will be at the Gala Quarter. My assistant, Sunny May, will assist you."
The Unicorn mare in question, whose cutie mark was a notepad, quill, and an abacus. She has a blond mane and a very light chocolate coat with green hazel eyes. Sunny's eyes slightly widened when Celestia said this, which made me tilt my head slightly. Why did she do this reaction? The only thing I can reference is when I was in High School and the Tour Guide asks the Principle a ridiculous question. The next day the Tour Guide had red bags under her eyes from crying. I didn't know the rest of the context, but I think I should tread lightly when talking to Sunny May.
"Of course." I say as I waved my hand towards where I entered from, "Lead the way, ma'am."
Sunny nodded as she trotted ahead while I waved to Celestia when she was headed inside. I caught up with Sunny May and the majority of the walk was in silent. We turned to another area where there was a wall of fliers and she picked one of them up with her light green magic aura. "You'll need a copy of this in case you forget where you are, this map will help you along the way." She said as she levitated it to my hand.
"Thanks," I say as I open the map. Surprisingly, it looked like the layout of a mall, which is very helpful for me. I followed Sunny through a hallway into the familiar room for the Grand Galloping Gala.
It was really starting to get awkward and she suddenly stopped to sigh. "I suppose you know where to go now from your room?" She asked.
I scratch my head lightly and nod, "I'm pretty sure I have figured things out."
There was silence between us as I continued, "I'm getting a vibe that you don't want me around you, am I right?"
Her eyelids slightly close when they looked at mine, "No, the day was really exhausting and I really don't talk much to ponies I don't know."
I smiled and sighed with relief, "Well that's a load off my shoulders, I thought you were angry at me for not belonging here."
Her ears flattened, "Oh, goodness no. Whatever the princesses believe should stay here at this castle should be honored by all staff. I personally don't have any sort of grudge against you whatsoever." She even made a cute giggle to which I chuckled in return.
"I'll let you return to Celestia for the time being, Sunny May, I have things to prepare for this party," I said as I walked to the left hallway while she went to the right.
Sunny nodded, "Alright then. Speaking of that, I'll send one of the guests to pick you up at your room for the party. Have a nice day!"
"You too!" I waved as I walked back to my room to get things prepared.
After getting back into my room, I unpacked all of my items from my carry-on. On the desk was my laptop being powered by my solar charger which was sitting on the window sill. I got out my clothing, refolded them, and placed them in the provided dresser across from the desk. My personal hygiene items, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving blade and shaving cream were placed on the vanity in the half bath. I sat on the chair and turned on my laptop, as it powered up, I checked my backpack to find my USB had my important files, and other things from my desktop and I plugged it into my laptop.
As it was loading and copying my files into my hard drive, I playfully look to see if there was wifi, but there wasn't any when I checked. I shook my head lightly despite what result I was going to get. I opened my file explorer and checked all the pony memes, videos, and episodes to show at the party. The USB had the movies and extra files that might help me in the future. The files expand from (Earth) world history to how to make a simple cake. Granted it was close to two Terabytes of data, but my laptop can handle at least three TB.
Instinctively, I checked the time on my user interface, but closed my eyes and turned to the actual clock above the dresser. It was already getting close to dinner time, but I believe the party would be able to feed me when I get there. Turning back to my screen, I made a powerpoint presentation and cracked my knuckles.
"Let's make this an eye-opener," I say to myself as my fingers and mind seeminglessly created the powerpoint all within an hour. I stretched my body and checked the clock. It was already 6 pm. I quickly put my computer asleep and switched my solar charger, that has been absorbing sunlight, to charge my laptop. I hear a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" I asked and there was no answer. I sigh internally and walked to answer the door to see the Princess of the Night. She was wearing a nice light blue dress that slightly sparkled with any sort of lighting angle. Her mane was done in a nice bun, but her flowing magic made it look like it was shining. I was awestruck by her display and I coughed into my elbow to reconfigure myself.
"Ah, Luna." I say, "You look quite amazing tonight. You're coming to the party?"
She nodded, "Thank you for the complement Trey, and yes, I am your escort to the party. Everypony is there except for you."
I glance at my clothing and chuckled a bit, "Let me get into something a bit more formal and I shall join you."
"It is rather rude to keep a mare outside a guest's room." She quipped.
I shrug my shoulders and opened the door to let her in, "Wait inside as I change in the bathroom then?" I asked.
"I think that shall be fine." She wanders in and sits on the bed, "Oh and it's called a washroom, Trey."
I playfully rolled my eyes as I open the dresser for the second time and got my shirt with a collar and a set of almost baggy black jeans. It was all I had when I packed my carry-on. I really didn't have any sort of suit because I was too young for a job at the time and it was really expensive. I grabbed those and went into the bathroom. Got changed, put on my deodorant on my armpits and did a quick mouth rinse with the Scope bottle. It burned, but I didn't care it was getting rid of germs.
I stepped out of the washroom to find Luna looking at my laptop like a curious cat would. I cleared my throat to get her attention and it made her jump slightly back. "Curious about my belongings?" I asked.
She blushed when I caught her and it was so cute to see her trying to come up with words, but she shook her head, "Yes, I was intrigued that your kind has this type of technology. What is it?" She asked.
"It's a computer," I say and her eyes widened.
"Impossible."
"Huh?"
"A computer this small wouldn't be able to function, we have a computer, but it's the size of this room in the basement," Luna explained.
'So they do have a computer, just from the war world II era.' I thought. "We had that similar problem, but we figured out how to shrink bits and pieces over time." I point at my laptop, "That is what you'll get in the next 76 years or so."
She just looked at me and turned to face the computer, then to me and then the laptop. When I put my hands on my hips, "I don't think you believe me."
"It's somewhat unbelievable when looking at it." She admits.
"Well, I am going to bring it to the party so we can watch and listen how accurate we are about Equestria," I say.
Luna smiles, "Until I see it working, I'll still have my doubts." She walks to the door and looks back, "Are you ready to see them?"
I close my laptop, unplug the solar charger and carry it to the door so I could join with the lunar princess. I was going to meet with Twilight and the main seven. To be honest, I was nervous to meet them, but I had to be confident in myself. I know them behind a TV screen, a bit creepy when I think about it. I can be accused of being a spy or stalker for all they care. I don't think that is going to happen, but one thing for certain, they're going to be shocked.
I walk beside Luna towards the Gala room and smile, "I think the question you should be asking is: Are they ready to see me?"
She looked at me funny, but realized what I told her when I first got here and nodded, "Indeed."
The moment I walk to the entrance, I see nothing but a pink fur with blue eyes against my vision. Immediately, I knew it was Pinkie and I decided not to move because I wanted to play at her level. I smiled when I saw her smile and didn't move. I didn't know how Pinkie was floating, but the moment I see her fall back to her hooves, I put my hands on my hips.
"Hi!" She cheers.
"Well Pinkie, are you happy that you got to see me so close?" I asked.
"How did you know my name? Oh! Oh! Oh! You're psychic! You must know my name because you read my mine!!"
Luna tried to speak, "Actually-"
"Wait!! I hate getting spoilers! You're an alien from outer space!!!" Before she could continue, a familiar purple aura surrounds Pinkie and shuts her mouth. She is then levitated to Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Spike. All of them were sitting around a big table with three seats remaining. I guess that Celestia's late?
"Pinkie, you should let this guest, whoever it is, to have his space." Rarity scolded her.
Twilight removed the magic from Pinkie's mouth and she spoke, "Sorry guys." She smiles a bit.
"I don't know what to be surprised about," Rainbow spoke, "The fact that this guy didn't fall down due to Pinkie's antics or how he was able to say her name when she didn't introduce herself."
I chuckled a bit and scratched the back of my head, "Well I could tell you, but you wouldn't believe me exactly." I lifted my laptop from my left, "But I do have proof that I know all of you by name and personality."
"I would like ta' know what you're holding there." Applejack looked at me funny when I held my laptop against my belly.
I walk forward with Luna to the large round table where they were sitting and took a seat. Luna sat beside me as I put my laptop on the table I sigh, "My name is Trey and, if you were informed by Twilight, I come from the world that is different from ours, yet similar to a Mythological level."
Rarity looked at me funny, "Mythological level? How so?"
I stretched my back a bit, "There was a time when my ancestors believe that there were Unicorns, Pegasi, and a whole lot of creatures that we thought were fictional. We, as a species, gave up on trying to understand it and just named it under Fairy Tales."
"Interesting." Twilight levitated a piece of parchment and quill to write down information.
"That still doesn't answer how you knew about Twilight and Pinkie," Spike spoke up which seemed a bit taller than his usual self. Maybe he had a growth spurt?
I wave my hand slightly, "I can actually name you all because I know what you guys have been through to a certain point." I point to the orange mare and continued to point to the right as I named them, "Applejack, Rarity, Twilight, Spike, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie" Rainbow was about to comment, but I spoke before she could speak, "I'm not a spy, Dashie."
"H-How....." She dropped her hoof to the table in confusion.
I opened the laptop and turned the power on, "You see, I've been watching you guys from when you vanquished Nightmare Moon to the point where Twilight earned her wings and was crowned to be Princess." I double clicked the presentation document and turned the screen around. "In my world, you are a TV show or a Theater." The screen of the main six and Spike are in a photo for the beginning. There were gasps around the room and some jaws were dropped.
"Now let me be clear, I'm not an alien who wants to use this knowledge to my own advantage. All I know is the adventures that you've been having from defeating villains in reforming them." I cleared my throat as I clicked the next slide to show a video and pressed played. The video itself was a fan-made video of the main six and they're adventures made in a montage. Once the video ends I put my hands together and clicked the next slide that said 'Any Questions?'
Fluttershy raised her hoof in response, "What kind of creature are you?"
I smile, "I'm a human or Homosapien, a descendant of ape, scientifically speaking. Also, Twilight, you know them when you crossed the mirror to Canterlot High."
She blinked, "You know about that too?"
"Yes, also what happened when you had to come back to help Sunset and the others defeat the Dazzlings which are sirens," I explained.
Rainbow spoke, "Are you being serious?!"
Applejack turned to the mare, "Yes Dash, Trey here is being serious and what he's saying is the truth. I can just feel that pure honesty that he's letting out that it's starting to make the Element get slightly jealous."
"Why would I lie?" I say as I sigh, "Anyway, I came to this world by accident, but I have no intention to go back."
"Why?" Rarity asked out of curiosity.
I leaned down my head a bit as Luna spoke on my behalf, "His world had a natural, world ending, disaster."
There were more gasps as I continued where she left off, "That's not all, imagine meeting face to face with a Tsunami that is crushing everything around you to then suddenly pop into the Everfree Forest." My hands were slightly shaking as my mind replayed that memory, "It scared the life out of me and it will take a while to recover."
"Surely you must have a family or loved ones to get back to, right?" Twilight wondered.
"They lived next to the coast...." Twilights ears splayed back, "Even if I could go back, I would be heading back to the world where mother nature said, 'Reset.'"
There was silence between all of us and I smiled a bit, "Wow, I totally put a big downer on everypony. I'm sorry."
Twilight shook her head, "No, no. We understand that you must be going through a terrible experience."
I closed my laptop and clapped my hands together, "With that, I guess I hope to be treated well with everypony and I hope to get to know you guys better than watching from the sidelines." There were some nods from the group and Luna gave a slight smile.
'Well there is a start to everything and this is my start....' I thought as I tried not to say, do or perform any fanfiction I've read in my world.
"If introductions are done, then we shall continue with the welcoming party." Celestia comes from behind as Pinkie smiled.
"Yeah! Let's have a blast!!" She cheers as she pulls a party cannon, which was under her seat, and fires confetti into the air. There were giggles all around, but everything started to slow down as I thought I heard something whoosh right behind me. I look behind the entrance and saw nothing. I look to my left to see the window was open and the curtains were moving from the wind. I shrugged it off and continued my welcoming party.
Author's Note
Alright! Another month has past and more development between Luna, Celestia and the mane six included. Hope you enjoy it!
"Fuck!" I shout as I shot up from my bed as my eyes opened. The feeling of sweat covering my body and heavy breathing was from the replay of the Tsunami trying to smash my head. My knuckles were white from gripping the blanket. I let go as my hands were lightly shaking. I fell back, landing my head on the pillow. I took some time to collect my thoughts. I'm no longer on Earth, my family has passed on, I've moved on thanks to Luna, and I'm in Equestria.
With that out of the way, I noticed my feet were hanging off the edge of the bed. Looking it over, I stretched my body and my head hits the baseboard. I groaned through my mouth and stretched my body again without hitting my head. I turn to the side and sat up, but when I tried to get up, however, I suddenly felt taller. This made me disoriented for a bit as I tried to find balance. When I found my balance, I walked to the bathroom to see a brown Unicorn wearing a maid outfit.
'I didn't want a maid...' I thought as I yawned, 'But I have to respect the Princess's rules... I hope she didn't hear what I shouted...'
"Good morning sir, I am Aloe Fern, I'll be guiding you to our bathing area." The maid asked with a smile.
"Awesome, let me get a change of clothing if you don't mind waiting," I informed her.
Aloe gave me a nod, "Of course Sir Trey."
That name made me shiver, "Um... Just Trey, please?"
She immediately caught on what I was implying, "Oh, sorry. Of course, Trey."
Nodding, I went to the dresser, pulled out a change of clothing and draped it on my left forearm. Without a word, Aloe led me to out of my room and down the hall towards the bathing area. Due to how grand and big the castle is, I would have never known the bathing area was just a few doors down from my room.
I noticed the sign on the entrance and I believe my gulp was loud enough for Aloe's ear to swivel towards me. 'Unisex Bathing House' it says.
"Is everything alright?" The brown Unicorn asked.
I shook my head, "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine, but I have to ask if anypony else is inside?"
"If you're wondering about who's currently inside, nopony has been in since Twilight and her friends this morning. They had to get back to Ponyville as soon as possible to get back to their daily lives, much to Twilight's dismay." Aloe informed as I sighed with relief, "You have a problem with sharing a bath with other ponies?" She asked as she leads me inside.
"You might say that, but it feels... Weird to me because I've never done this type of thing before." I explained.
"Well let me explain a few things to keep you informed about what to do then." She said as she pointed to her hoof to the shelf. "This is where you put your clothes, the bottom is for dirty laundry our maids clean, and the top is your clean clothes." Aloe Fern gestures to the sliding glass windows, "Past through these windows is two bathing areas. One cold, one hot, due to the foreigners that show up, we have to keep an open mind about who shows up as a guest. Directly to the left and right, once you walk out, is a line of washing stations where you would clean yourself before getting into the bathing area to relax and collect yourself. Get the gist of it?"
"Yeah, it's sort of similar to our world in a different foreign country, and I think I can manage. Are there any towels?" I wondered.
"Just on the shelf where you put your clean clothes and there is a hamper near the exit to put your towel in. Or you can keep it for your next visit, just hang it on your towel hanger in your half bath alright?"
"Thank you, Aloe Fern, I think I'll be good to go now."
"Until next time, Trey," Aloe said heading out of the changing room.
As soon as she left, I stripped out of my dirty clothes, put my clean clothing on the designated shelf and grabbed my towel to only wrap it around my lower torso. Sighing to get my composure, I pulled the glass door open and the steam from the bathing area washed over me. It felt like I was going to have a good time.
When I got to the washing station, which was towards the end, I grabbed the available soap and started to wash with some running warm water from the shower head. I was glad that I was the only one inside because if there were anypony else, I would have been a nervous wreck.
Once I finished washing and rinsing, I looked back to see where the stairs would be to get into the hot bath side. I got up, put my towel on, and went into the bath slowly. It wasn't scalding, but just hot enough to where I had to move slowly to get used to the temperature. One thing I noticed, however, was the cold side was separated by a wall to where I could reach my whole arm into that pool if I could.
"Oh, I didn't know you were here Trey." It was the sound of the Lunar Princess herself. I turned around to see Luna, with a bad case of bed head, with no regalia whatsoever.
I instinctively covered up my lower region subconsciously, getting a giggle from Luna, "You don't need to feel embarrassed Trey, this is a Unisex bathing area." She trots to her desired seat and sits down to start washing, "Though if you wanted to watch all you need is to ask."
Feeling the blood rushing to my head, I turn around and earned another giggle from her. "Something tells me your not used to this type of thing."
My breath was finally calming down when I was looking up at a window to see the morning light coming down into the bathing area, "Y-Yeah... It's my first time and not to be rude, but you're the last pony I was expecting to show. I thought another mare or stallion would show up to get used to it..." I twiddled my fingers as I see several sponges on the ledge and a soap dispenser. I grabbed it, sprayed and started to scrub my body for anything I missed.
"Is it now? I wonde-Gah!" I turned to Luna who has dropped the soap to the floor, from what I could tell, her horn was fizzing and her wings were spread in alarm.
"You alright Luna?" I asked as I made my way towards her.
She turned her head and gave me a small smile, "May I ask you a favor?"
I blinked, "Sure."
Luna was processing her thoughts and sighed, "Mind coming up and scrubbing a certain displeasing part of my body? Usually, I have my sister or servants to take care of it."
I gulped and nodded, "Understood..." Climbing out of the bath, I walk towards Luna, who's mane is not flowing, but wet and smoothes down her body. Making sure my towel was on tightly, I grab a seat from the stall to her right and sat down. "W-Where is it?"
"I'm not proud of it, but when I was facing Celestia as Nightmare Moon, Celestia struck me down with her magic before using the Elements as a last resort." She gestured for me to come closer and I did as she pointed to her hoof to the scar at her front. It wasn't visible if you were far away, but when close enough you can see the line and new fur.
"You want me to wash that?" I asked in a calm voice.
"Don't get me wrong, I know how odd this sounds, but when I try to wash it, my horn gets in a fizzle and my magic gets haywire all over the place. Even washing it with my hooves is a pain in the neck. So I have to have an outside source to wash it otherwise it will stay dirty and get infected."
"Hey..." I rest my arm on her shoulder, "I understand and I'll be happy to do so for you."
She nodded as she levitated the sudsy soap into my hand, I took a deep breath as I began to wash the outside edge of the scar.
This coaxed a little cute sigh from her, which encouraged me to press on. I did a quick scrub over the scar and Luna shivered under my touch. Then I began to wash it deeply with the soap and a small moan escaped from Luna's mouth. Blushing really deeply, I cleared my throat and continued a little more.
"Y-You feeling alright Luna?" I asked as I tried to control my sudden growth between my legs by closing them.
"It just feels very... Hah~ Weird to me when somepony washes there. Usually, I would hold myself from... Ooo~ Letting out any noises but it's just us."
I felt very happy when she said that, it means she has a little trust in me, even though I was here for a couple of days. Once I finished scrubbing I grabbed the shower head and washed the suds on her body. Looking up, our eyes met, it was a moment that I really couldn't describe. My heart was racing when I looking into her beautiful eyes, I felt my hand feeling touched by her hoof as I saw her smile.
"Thank you, Trey, would you like to join me in the bath together?" She asked.
I think my heart just melted. "S-Sure... Let me just..." I get up and rush to the cold water side of the bathing area and plunged in. This allowed me to forget all of the erotic thoughts.
I surfaced, "Ahhh... Much better." Getting out of the cold water I saw Luna was getting into the hot side of the bathing area. I get beside her and tapped her back as I get into the refreshing warm water.
Feeling my blood flow turning back to normal, I sit on the underwater ledge. Luna sat down on the floor, her head and neck were on the surface while I assumed her magic was going around her body.
"I feel much better Trey, thank you." She said as she turned her head towards me, "May I ask why you jumped into the cold side?"
"Um... To clear my mind?" I said stretching the truth with a smile.
She seemed to hum at me suspiciously, but gave me a small knowing smirk, "Make all the excuses and I'll probably have to get it out of you."
I was silent, trying to think of what she meant until my stomach was surrounded by her blue aura. All of a sudden my belly was being tickled. I tried to hold in my laughs but it was inevitable, I laughed hard. "Hahahaha!!!! Stauoopp!!!" I pleaded.
"Not until you tell me why you jumped into the cold side!" She giggled playfully.
I didn't want to tell my embarrassing boner I had while washing her. With my feet, I walk towards Luna an I could tell the intense magic around my stomach was increasing. I was laughing when I was struggling to get to her. The tickling sensation was intense, but I had experienced worse tickling monsters in my days. Not thinking about my towel, I jump to Luna and land on the side of her barrel. She tried to use her wings to push me away, but with my fingers, I began to tickle her stomach under the water.
Hearing Luna squeal under my fingers relieved most of the concentrated magic around my torso, "TrrrEEEYYY!!!! Stop!!!" Luna laughed unable to control her laughter.
"Not untiIILLL you stoooop!!!" I was laughing back.
None of us were stopping, our tickling war was relentless to the point when Luna, the Lunar Princess stopped. "Alright!" She yells in a serious tone to which I stop and the magic around my belly disappeared.
"I admit defeat." Luna panted.
I pushed back to look at her. Seeing a blushing and tired Luna was really cute to see. However, her eyes weren't looking at my face and I realized what happened. I was pressing my boner against Luna while tickling her. I felt the blood rush to my face as the feeling of my wet towel touched my upper thigh. Grabbing it quickly to cover my lower torso up. We looked at one another finally and something I didn't see coming was a giggle from Luna. I cocked my head, but given the situation that we were just in, it was very funny to where I smiled and chuckled with her.
"That was very silly of me to do Trey, I'm sorry." Luna calming herself.
"Yeah, it was, but I forgive you Luna and I believe you know why I jumped into the cold side?" I wondered.
She nodded, "Your secret is safe with me, but I have to ask, was it because of washing my scar or something else?"
I blushed as I gulped, 'Well I'm going to have to tell the truth anyhow.' I thought as I sighed. "With how beautiful you are..." I tried to gather my scattered thoughts, "and seeing how I've never been to a bathing room, how can I not get... Aroused by you? Seeing that you're my favorite pony when I watched you from my world?"
I actually got the Lunar Princess to blush and fluff out her wings, "O-Oh..." She turned her head to the ceiling to the window above, "No pony has ever said that to me ever..." Then her eyes land upon me, "Thank you."
"It's no problem, Luna... Did you want me to leave or...?" I held out my pause as Luna responded.
"I don't think that would be necessary Trey..." Then her eyes brightened up, "Actually, would you mind accompanying me?"
I tilted my head, "Oh?"
After getting dressed, while Luna was probably watching me with curious eyes, we walked down the castle together. The sun was very high as I began to realize something was wrong with this picture.
"Wait..." Luna's ears perked up, "Aren't you supposed to be asleep during the day?"
She shook her head, "Not at all, I usually have the night court every so often when somepony requests my presence for an appointment. Majority of my time is sleeping dream guarding our subjects dreams."
"Oh..." I said in awe, "So that's how it works? I guess something similar works for your sister?"
Nodding as we turned the corner heading further inside, "Celestia, due to working during the day, she always has appointments during the court, she does, however, get a rare occasion of having the day off to do as she pleases."
"Ah, that makes sense." I said changing the subject, "From what I was told, Twilight and her friends were taken back home. I was hoping to meet them again."
"If you want to go to Ponyville, you would have to be cautious, not a lot of our little pony's know about your presence," Luna informed as her magic opened the door, "It's down here."
Luna and I went through the doors as it leads to another hallway which gradually slopped down to a circular stone door. The door itself was a stone carving of the three races, Unicorn, Pegasus, Earth Ponys and had an Alicorn in the center with a hole in its chest. I walked forward to get a better look at the details. The wasn't much except for the symbols of the sun and moon at the corners of the door.
"Judging by the hole in the center..." I put my index finger into the hole, "You have to be an Alicorn to access it?"
"Yes, I believe you know this because...?"
"When the Changeling invasion happened during the wedding or the time when Celestia tried to get the Elements to fight against Discord." I pointed out as she nodded.
"Have you ever seen this room before though?"
I shook my head, "Never."
"Alright, I guess you'll be in for quite a surprise." She waved her hoof at me and I moved to the side as she slides her horn into the hole. Her magic radiated through her horn to which the door reacted. Hearing smooth stone sliding from the inside almost gave me chills as the circular door was being pushed in. Then Luna retracted her horn as the corners were pulled away and the circular door rolled to the left into a shelf.
"I see that this room is important?" I asked as Luna nodded with a smile.
Resuming our walk, we went inside the room it wasn't much. The room was sculpted in a way where it had four roman-like columns with a natural skylight illuminating everything. In the center, however, was a wooden pedestal holding a large orb. Inside the orb was a tiny landscape with a mountain and waterfall. It looked like someone took a small chunk of the land and stuffed it into it.
"I'm not going to say anything and let you explain what this is, but it's cool," I said keeping my mouth shut.
Luna giggled, "This orb is a place where my sister and I can relax. Time itself isn't affected in this orb. Say you want to stay inside this for about a month, you can and only a minute, day or week will pass instead."
"Very interesting... How do we get inside?" I asked as Luna rolled her eyes.
"With magic of course." She said lighting up her horn to prepare a spell.
Before I knew it, Luna and I were teleported into the orb as soon as I blinked. It was bright, the sky was blue, the air was humid, but not too much to sweat as much. The breeze coming off of my hair felt salty on my lips.
"Are we at a beach?" I asked aloud as I looked around at my surroundings. There was a beach, behind me the mountain that I saw when we were in the room was humongous when up close. There was snow forming at the top of it as my eyes lowered to see a wooden cabin, fully furnished in the inside from what I could tell from the french doors.
"How long are we going to be inside the orb?" I wondered as I heard the sand shift under my shoes.
"I put us in for an hour. I had to set the amount of time for it to work, however, when I did so, I can't undo it." She informed.
"Why's that?"
Luna turned to the side and admired the scenery as she took in a deep breath, "Starswirl was the one who made this for Celestia and me to escape, only he has the key to override his own creation." She gestured her hoof to follow her as we took a stroll down the beach.
"Tell me, Trey, what do you think about this place?" She asked.
Scratching the back of my head, I took in the scene, "Seeing this place is unreal and I can see why you and Celestia come here to relax. For being rulers of Equestria, while it has it's perks, however, I see it can cause a lot of stress." I explained, "As for the relaxing scenery, I love it. I guess I would have to ask you or Celestia to come into this room."
There was a glowing smile coming from Luna was contagious to make me smile as well, "I'm happy that you said that and I don't think you have to bother me and my sister to come in here." Before I could ask, she fired a spell towards my torso and for a moment I felt something grow within me. "Now when you want to come in, you'll be able to with using your finger."
I blinked as I felt around my body, did that spell do something to me? I shrugged it off, maybe Celestia could do something about it. Or head to the nearest infirmary. For now, I'll keep it quiet as I followed beside Luna through the beach. We pass by lounge chairs that were set up on a patch of grass that was mixed with sand, up the front patio, and into the cabin.
Inside, after ducking the top of the door frame, was a well-furnished cabin that felt warm. Everything around me, the walls, the floor, and the ceiling was made out of various woods I couldn't recognize. A stone brick fireplace was in the center of the living room while a bar separating the kitchen from it all. The high ceilings felt refreshing to where I was able to stretch and not hitting the top. I noticed that my elbows were close to the height of the door frame when I glanced at my shadow. Luna walked towards the other end of the living room and gestured her hoof to the hallway.
"The bathroom is the first door on the left down this hall. Further down is two bedrooms, there really are no assigned rooms since Tia and I use this place to escape." Luna explained as she trots to the living room and sat on the couch, "Since this entire place is enchanted, we set some spells to have a self-cleaning system when we leave this place or every twenty-four hours."
I raised my finger, but she was able to answer my unsaid question, "As for food and water, the kitchen is the only haven as it communicates with the outside world to collect it and feed us for the entire day."
"I suppose this also has a recycling system for trash?" I asked as I walked towards Luna and she gestured for me to sit on the couch with a soft pat with her hoof.
"Very much so, we have trash treatment that separates, recycles or burns it. There's also a water retreatment spell that reprocessed toilet water and shower water...." I raised an eyebrow as she then lashed out her hooves, "Never sharing of course." It was probably the first time I've seen her shudder, "Washing in reused toilet water... Preposterous."
That got me to chuckle, "So I see that this cabin, no, the entire orb is a paradise that can handle itself when one or three guests are here. I'm happy that you'd allow me to access this. Though I had to ask, why did you?"
She sighed as her body began to lay down on her front legs, "To be honest, my sister thought it would be best to give you some time alone if you needed it." I tilted my head as she glanced at me, "She is worried about your safety, seeing that you're the only one of your species in Equestria. Celestia and I thought it would be best if you needed someplace to escape you can come here and enjoy."
That was actually very thoughtful for them to do. I sort of saw this coming and thinking about how I'm going to adjust to this world. I mean, I'm not going to stay at the castle forever without a job right? I mean, I want to continue my education... I internally smacked my forehead, my education. How do the school system work in this world?
"Something on your mind?" Luna asked as our eyes met.
I felt my cheeks burn as I scratched a sudden itch on the back of my shoulder, "Y-Yeah... Before I got sent to Equestria, I was on my way to a University that I was accepted. I'm wondering how I'm going to continue-"
Luna rested her hoof on my thigh as she spoke, "If education is what you want, I'm sure Celestia will help you out with that and the... Issue your having with magic reacting to your body."
My eyes widened, "So something is wrong with me?" I said admitting my self-doubt.
"You've grown taller Trey, I'm pretty sure that it isn't because of a growth spurt," Luna informed as I blinked and all of a sudden I was sitting on a stone bench. I felt disoriented at first, but I realized that we were back in the room with the orb at the center.
"I see you're confused, but that usually happens. When the orb time limit ends, the user is teleported out suddenly." She said getting up on her hooves and stretching her barrel, "It's perhaps the only drawback to the entire experience." Luna turned her head to face me as I stood up, "Now let's make haste and get to the infirmary."
Author's Note
Alright, ladies and gentlemen, I missed last month on releasing this chapter, but I do have an excuse. Life, college, family, and work. All four of those elements made me very busy. As of this moment, I'm studying for mid-terms, but luckily it's pretty easy once I understood the material and I had some time to finish this up and for my pre-reader to look it over. Hope you enjoyed it!
I suggested that we should talk to Celestia about what was going on instead of going to the infirmary. Luna did warn me about what would happen if other pony's see me, but I didn't care. It took us no time to get to the Royal court, however, there was an issue. When Luna and I were getting close to the entrance, there was a queue behind the double doors. Different ponies were holding a variety of papers, suitcases, or diagrams close to them. It caused them to turn their heads and when they looked at me then to Luna, their eyes widened.
Luna saw their surprise, eyed me, then nodded her head. She led me towards the entrance and just nodded to the guards. The guards looked at one another as they were getting the door opened.
While this was happening, I realized their eyes were on me and it felt unsettling. 'Yep... This is how my life is going to be, eyes filled with curiosity and judgment.' I thought as my eye looked down. When the guards opened the door a Pegasus Pony, wearing a suit, was exiting the room with a smile on his face. He must’ve had a good deal with Celestia as he trotted happily with his saddlebags around his barrel.
Then he saw me. He stopped in his tracks an stared at me. Taking in what he is seeing. I stopped as Luna walked forward to her sister. Time seemed to slow down when this stallion was just silent and looking. I felt really, really uncomfortable, my legs were feeling shaky and my heartbeat was accelerating. The silence was killing me.
Finally, I caved in and broke the silence, "H-Hello..."
He didn't do anything, but to just turn his head and walked away from me and the throne room as the guards closed the door behind me. I swallowed and I felt my legs being wobbly. I took a deep breath then breathe out as I walked into the Royal Court. I looked forward and saw Luna looking concerned as Celestia was calm and stoic. When I finally got to them, I sighed.
"I'm going to have to get used to that if I want to live here..." I said folding my arms.
"I'm afraid so," Celestia said with a sigh, "Just give it some time and ponies will be more comfortable with your appearance."
"When he saw me, I could feel his judgment and I didn't know how to approach." I tried finishing her sentence.
"Yes, and was a look of curiosity than judgment. It's only because he's never seen anything like you before, I did warn you of this." Luna added.
"Then why didn't Twilight and her friends act like that when they saw me?" I asked thinking back to that night.
"I did tell her in the letter to 'expect this guest to be like Discord.' I think she and her friends got the picture." Celestia smiled as she winked. I definitely didn't see that coming, but I guess it makes sense to let them know ahead of time of something like myself to be mentally prepared.
"That's understandable and I thank you for doing that for me Celestia." I thanked as I got a smile from the Solar Princess. I have to mentally note how I approach pony's now and hope that I can avoid future encounters like Flight Stream.
"Now, let's get back to the task at hoof." Luna started, "Trey is being affected by the magic and spells that are being used on him."
Celestia looked at her sister than to me. She blinked as she had to look up a bit because she was seated. "You've... Grown taller."
I nodded, "Yes... It's weird isn't it?" I crossed my arms and I could really feel the difference in how long my forearms were and feeling my elbows. All of this felt really surreal.
"Indeed, but fear not, I do have a solution for you." Celestia informed, "You see when Unicorns are growing their magic can get out of control. So, to counter that we made rings to make sure the magic stays in control. In your case, however, your absorbing magic and your body and mind are trying to figure out how to output it."
"Do I escort him to the Black Smith? Luna asked.
"Yes, you may Luna." She said as Sunny May levitated a scroll to Celestia's magical grasp. "I'll write to Petra Ore to make your magical inhibitors so she can be ready for your arrival."
Celestia was writing I blinked, "You guys have a blacksmith here?"
"Why yes, Trey," Luna spoke as Celestia teleported the finished scroll, "We decided to hire blacksmiths to the royal ranks 50 years before I Nightmare Moon was destroyed by the Elements of Harmony."
"I did enjoy the uniqueness of the armor that was given to us from blacksmith families. However, with a new Era approaching, I had to do what was needed." Celestia sighed, but her ears perked up, "But that doesn't stop me from recruiting willing members of those families that used to work with us. I recently recruited a new mare a month ago and I believe she'll help you out with your new inhibitors."
"Just when I was going to get used to our last one, Jade Ore, he had to retire due to old age... Not so sure how I feel about his daughter running everything now." Luna sighed.
"What's wrong with Petra Ore?" I asked.
Luna's eyes seemed to avoid me or maybe the question, "Well..."
*POOF!*
Something came out of the magical plane and landed on my snout. I groan as I turned to the right side of the bed and sigh. I look at the grandfather clock that said it was noon. "Too early..." I muttered.
Focusing on the scroll, my magical grasp surrounds it and unravels. I mostly just scanned the letter to which my eyes widened. It was a letter from Princess Celestia and she's sending one of her guests here!
"Oh FUCK!" I pushed the sheet that was covering me and tried to step out of the bed. However, I stopped and quickly looked down at my plot. "You're still fucking in my pussy!?!" I hissed as I focused on the new toy I bought last night and slowly pulled it out. "Oh~~" I moaned as it was leaving my tight entrance.
"No wonder I felt so 'full' this morning." I sighed as I jumped out of my bed and landed on my hooves...
...To only fall on my plot for my back hooves being numb. I tried to move to stand on all four hooves but was stopped again. The back of my hairs stood up as my clit felt a wet vibrating butt plug that was left on last night. A moan escaped from my mouth as my hips began to move on their own, bucking against it. I looked behind, seeing I left all of my sex toys on the ground last night and several bottles of alcohol stood up against the wall.
"Oh! Ah! Fuck!!!" All of my thinking went blank after that, trying to muffle the sounds I'm making with my hoof. Memories from last night were flooding in. I was getting myself drunk last night because of being a single nympho was making me really sad. Bought three bottles of whiskey and went to the sex shop and had some drunken fun with my new toy.
I felt really hot and ragged as the memories of that toy was pounding my pussy and made me cum really hard to which I passed out. I grind the vibrator against my clit and forced myself to cum all over the floor. "Ahhh~!!!" I felt my warm cum pouring out and staining the carpet... Sadly this wasn't the first.
I collapsed on my front hooves and was recovering from my erratic breathing, "What a fucking morning." I looked to my left to see myself on a small mirror showing my dark green hazel eyes, ragged brown mane, and dirty beige coat. I sighed as I felt my legs weren't numb and I was able to get up on all hooves. 'Must be the afterglow...' I thought as I lazily teleported in my blacksmith outfit.
It wasn't anything special. Just two pairs of black fire-protected socks for my hooves and back, an apron that was tied around my neck and barrel. All of this was completed with a welding helmet sitting on top of my head. With my magic, I opened the door and immediately closed it when I stepped out. I would have to clean my room after this job. I shot a magical fire-starter into the furnace. As soon as the magic hit what was left of the charcoal, it lit up to life. The smell of burning fumes filled my nostrils as I let out a small smirk.
"Let's see what the Princess wants," I said teleporting in the sent letter and read out its contents. "Alright, just some magical alloy for some metal cuffs for our guest." My eyes squint as I read the details, "Apparently this guest grows due to magic..." My clit winked at what I said. I shook my head to clear my thoughts, 'This is for work, let's wait to see who he looks like first.'
I began to trot towards the end of the room. Over there was a small vault filled with ingots of various alloys and metals. This vault was only opened by my magical signature or overrode by the Princess herself. I shot an unlocking spell and the vault mechanism ticked as it was opened wide open.
"I'd say one ingot of anti-magictium and..." I tapped my head and shook it, "Have to follow the specifications to the list, but I'll add some nickel titanium."
I levitated both ingots and nugget into the firepot, to then set it into the furnace to melt. Trotting to the other end of the room, I glanced the To Do Board, the board that had my assigned tasks, to see if I had anything put up for me.
Absolutely nothing...
"Well, at least I get to talk to the guest when he or she gets here," I said to nopony in particular.
In three seconds, there was a knock on the door. I turned my head as my horn lights up to grab the door handle to open it. "Welcome!" I said with a smile.
I blinked at what I saw. A bipedal creature, like a Diamond Dog, with red hair and green hazel eyes and mostly hairless for the rest of his body. Plain clothing was on him, most likely to compensate for the lack of fur. When my eyes met him, I saw what our sex life would be. Oh, my Celestia~ I could see being ravaged by this predator with his claw-like fingers and huge-
"Hello?" He said as I snapped back into reality. He was waving his hand at my face.
"Ah, yes?" I wondered.
"Are you Petra Ore?" He asked.
I nodded, "Yes, I am and I have your order cooking at the furnace." I had to focus, I nearly went into full nympho mode. "Anyway, what do I owe the pleasure?"
He reached out his hand, "My name is Trey, it's nice to meet you." I returned the gesture as I lent my hoof and felt his skin against my fur. Goddesses! It felt like that one time I was laid by a Griffon, but his claws were nothing to compare to Trey's. I shook it gladly and pulled away, much to my internal displeasure.
"It's nice to meet you in person, may I ask what you are? I've never seen any creature like you before." I asked, trying to strike a conversation, one, to let the ingots mix, two, to know more about him, three, see how he is in bed...
"Oh, that's a new one. You aren't scared of me?" He wondered.
I scoffed, "Scared? Nah, just curious." 'And aroused.' I thought.
I sat on the floor as I levitated a chair near the Board and offered it to him, "It's going to be awhile for the metals to mix." I said placing it down.
"Very well." He said sitting on the chair, "I'm basically a human or homosapien that's evolved from an ape."
"Interesting!" I squeaked and teleported in my notepad and quill, "I must take some notes, but first..." My magic surrounded his wrists as I calculated the size for the braces.
Then it happened, Trey's body, as the letter said, grew due to my magic touching him. I was quick enough to finish the measurements and wrote down the new sizes since his body increased. "Your case is very unique Trey, I put some nickel titanium into your cuffs so they won't break if you suddenly get bigger."
He just shook his head looked at me with disbelief, "That was the first time I've felt myself growing... It was unsettling."
'Crap! I've made a bad impression! Recover!' I thought, "I'm so sorry about that, but I had to get measurements for your wrist. I knew you had some magic problems, but I didn't know it was this bad."
"It's alright, you were just told about it, but not the extent?" He asked.
I glanced back to the letter and nodded, "Pretty much yes."
"Then it was a communication issue, it's no problem." He said dismissing it.
"Oh, wonderful!" I exclaimed as I refreshed my quill into the inkwell with a simple teleport, "Now anything else you want to say, I'm interested in your species."
We went into a full conversation/interview of Trey's species. Apparently, they don't have magic, they've developed technology to where it does almost everything for them. It was very interesting, to say the least, but I needed to get to the juicy stuff, but when I glanced at the furnace, I smiled.
"Oh! The metal is all done mixing." I say as I levitated the hotpot and pulled the hot metal liquid. I glanced at Trey who was looking in awe as my magic separated the liquidized metal and formed it into the cuffs for Trey's wrists. "Pretty cool isn't it?"
"Yeah it is, question," My ear perked up when he spoke, "How am I not sweating through my shirt? I thought this place would be hotter?"
"Ah, yeah, I forgot about that magic heat resister that my grandfather Ore installed ages ago." I explain as I smoothed out the rough edges of each brace, "The only reason why he needed one is because this place was moved in closer to the palace. So, to prevent any accidents, he asked Celestia herself to install a cooling talisman above the furnace right there." I point to it as I put the cuffs into the water bucket. The hexagon talisman had the solar Princess's Cutie Mark on it as Trey got up to get a close look at it.
I noticed how his head was very close to the ceiling, "Um, Trey, I know you're over there, but, I think you need to sit down..."
Trey only had to look up to notice how tall he was and the tip of his nose was touching the ceiling, "Can I have those cuffs?"
I nodded as I stamped my insignia, just an anvil and hot hammer smacking it, on the bottom. "There, now they should be cool enough for you to wear," I say as I levitated the cuffs to his wrists, I struggled to get them on.
When the went on, there was a moment of silence as Trey spoke out, "Huh, I guess that-" Before he could finish sparks were flying off of the cuffs, making a small cloud of magic form into the air. This caused him to be repelled to the back of the room and my hammer that was hanging on a rack came down and smacked the top of his head. The last thing I saw was his eyes rolling back as he fell face first onto the floor. Then his body slowly shrunk to what I believe was his regular size.
"AHHH!!!" I screamed as I rushed to his aid, "Trey!?" I shoved his shoulder with my hoof, "Trey!"
My eyes flutter open to see an unfamiliar ceiling. Immediately I reached with my right hand to feel the bump on the back of my head. It was swollen, but it wasn't anything serious, however...
"W-What happened?" I stuttered as I turned to see Petra sitting on the floor twiddling her hooves. I sighed internally, 'Maybe I shouldn't have told Luna to let me be on my own.' I thought.
"You don't remember?" Petra asked.
I slowly sit myself up and flinch at the pain, "All I remember is being knocked out..." I felt my wrists were covered with the metal inhibitors. I glanced at Petra and she nodded, "It... Was all the magic that was built up within me that burst out of me?"
She nodded once more, "I didn't realize you had that much magic built up, but I didn't want you to touch anything enchanted..." She let out a sigh, "I should have warned you about it, I'm sorry."
I smiled, that I know that was genuine, "It's alright. I'll be ready to go in no time, I just probably need to rest for a bit."
Petra nodded as I lay back down the bed. I was able to get the survey of the room, there were blacksmith weapons and tools hung up with thick wire across the top of the room. To my left was a desk with a few drawings scattered across the desk and crumpled up papers in a full trash bin. Right next to it was a treasure chest, most likely to store prototypes or something.
"D-Did you want to talk some more or would you like to rest?" She wondered as she scooched closer.
"We can talk sure." I say as I see her smile, "What else did you want to talk about? I mean I told you the majority of what I know and may I ask you for a copy? I'm sure Princess Twilight would love it if she had those notes."
"I'll be sure to do so!" Petra smiled as she grabbed a fresh sheet of paper with her quill. "Now, I hope you don't mind, but I would like to know... Certain customs of humans when they..." She seemed to ponder off as I waved my hand over her eyes.
"Petra?" I asked, making her snap back to reality.
"Ah, yes, I'm curious about your courting customs on Earth." She informed as I nodded.
"Alright," I crossed my arms and thought about it, "Well first things first, when someone sees an attractive person, and they know each other really well, they would go on dates. If it goes really well, they would have to consider marrying them after getting to know them for an amount of time."
"Very interesting, so your world is monogamous? How about polygamy?" Petra asked.
I scratched my head, "Well, it's not uncommon, but in some parts of the world it's frowned upon."
"So... You're monogamous too?"
"I suppose so, I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a guys dream to have a harem... But thinking on how to make each partner happy can be a little overwhelming." I explained wholeheartedly.
Petra giggled at the harem bit, "I can understand that it was like when I was growing up, I had to be pressured whether to be stuck with somepony for the rest of my life or be part of a herd."
'So, I guess the fanfiction does translate to this world in some way.' I thought as I felt the bump that was strangely going down. "Did you do something to the bump on my head?"
Petra nodded, "Of course I did, once the inhibitors on your wrist I just cast a minor healing spell on your head."
"Oh." I blinked as I sat up on the bed, "Thanks Petra... Why didn't you mention that before?"
The mare had a flat stare looking back at me, "...I um... Uh... Was cleaning the p-place and I cast it when you were asleep while I wanted this room to be... decent." I could tell that she was blushing.
"Alright... Thanks anyways." There was an awkward silence between us and I cleared my throat to get out of it, "D-Did you want to talk about anything else?" I put my hand under the covers on the edge of the bed and felt something. I didn't pay attention when I did, thinking it was part of the bed frame.
"W-Well... I did ask you about dating customs on Earth, but would you tell me about Earth sexual culture?" Petra asked as I could definitely see her blushing cheeks and her tail was curled up against her front.
...
'WHAT?' I shouted internally, "W-Why would you want to know about that Petra?" My hand gripped the bed frame as I tried to control the rushing heat coming to my cheeks.
"You see..." She tapped her hooves together, "I have the habit of... Exploring different cultures and how it all works... I don't want to offend anyone when it comes to their ways of sex."
I gulped, "I don't know... Talking about sex to a pony who I just met today seems a bit weird to me."
"Is sex frown upon on Earth?"
I groaned, "Let me guess, Equestria is open about sex and loves to celebrate their own bodies?"
...
"How did you know?"
'THIS PLACE IS LIKE EUROPE!' I mentally yelled as I rubbed my temples and sighed. "C-Call it intuition... We have something like that back home, but in a different country." The bed frame seems to have stuck on my palm... Was it glue?
"So you don't want to talk about Sex...?" Petra tilted her head.
Curious about what got me stuck, I pulled the cover off with my left to see my right hand was clutching a wet sticky horse cock dildo. I look at it for several seconds and then looked at Petra. She looked mortified as I let go and wiped the sticky stuff on the carpet.
"Petra..." I can see her sweating bullets, "What's going on really?"
Looking into her eyes, I could tell she was trying to come up with an excuse or something, but then closed her eyes and sighed. "To tell you the truth, Trey... I'm a mare who has needs..." She opened the chest with her magic to reveal... That's was full of sex toys, lube, condoms, and her blacksmithing tools mixed with it. "You see..." Petra took a deep breath, "I'm a nymph..."
The silence was upon us. It seemed to last for eternity. My heart rate was beating fast as I remembered what Luna said about Petra... "Does the Princess's know about this?"
"Y-Yes, all of it, were an open society remember?" She said still looking down on the floor.
'Of course, they would know about it...' I thought. Looking at my hands, I sighed, "If you think I'm mad or disappointed... Then don't. I'm not, I'm just weirded out is all."
"O-Ooh..." She whispers, "Then I guess you'll be leaving now?"
"I think so... I need to process what I witnessed since I was taught that sex isn't something to be throwing about and the way I'm seeing it..."
"It's taboo?"
I flinched, "In a way, yeah... But don't worry, I'll forget about the whole thing and we'll be still new friends if you'd like." I reached out my left hand to her.
She reached out and I was able to grab it and shake it, "All I have to say is thank you for making my inhibitor cuffs. I'll be sure to come by when I can, alright?"
"Y-Yeah I would like that a lot... Call it a redo? Not entirely?" Petra wondered as she made a small smile.
I nodded, "Of course, I'm not the type of guy who keeps a grudge or spreads the word on someone's secret." I let go and got up to my feet.
"Well that's a very interesting thing about you Trey, I've never heard of anyone not holding grudges and I'm glad you're going to keep my secret, even though most of the castle knows that I'm a nymph." She giggled a little.
"I wasn't talking about the nymph part..." I point to the dildo as she connected the dots and blushed.
"R-Right..." Her ears perked up, "Oh! I almost forgot, here's a reply to Celestia and/or Luna and make sure you give it to them."
"Why not teleport it back?" I asked.
...
*POOF*
"I'll just make my leave then, until next time Petra," I say walking out the room as I saw the mare sulking on her chair. 'Hope she'll be alright.' I thought as I walked out of the blacksmith room and back into the hallway once more.

Happy New Years everyone! If you see anything wrong with the chapter, because it had to be reworked a bit, let me know in the comments. I have my next semester coming up next week and have some chapters already written, just need to get them proof-read and edited.
Also for those who are wondering why Trey didn't 'go for that plot,' there is a reason for that and it will be revealed in future chapters. Not the next one, but eventually.
Anyway, hope this year will be a great one for all of us! (Coughs into his arm as he realizes that the next semester is going to be a living hell for three separate classes.)
Even though it was only a day that had passed since I had my cuffs. It couldn't stop the nightmares that were manifesting in my mind. The smell of sea water that splashed on my face as I see the tsunami destroying the gas station in front of me. In slow motion, I was frozen, unable to do anything as it came closer and closer to me.
'Please, not again.' I thought. I was getting sick of this, the feeling of reliving my near-death experience. I had no idea how to stop this and to be honest a lot of things were passing through my mind. I couldn't process anything I was thinking as my heart beats at an accelerated rate.
Suddenly the wall of sea froze as I felt my body loosening up to hear a familiar voice. “I see that you’re having trouble with this particular part in your nightmare Trey,” Luna said as she walked in front of me when I was trembling on the cracked tile floor.
I was having my nightmare again, and Luna stopped it. Like you would do on a DVD, she reversed the tsunami and all of its destruction. I wiped the tears from my eyes, as I sat on the floor.
“I was able to somewhat move on from the passing of my relatives, however…” I hit the tile with a clenched fist and pointed to the slowed Tsunami, “This right here is causing me so much pain that it’s happening over and over again. It will go away, but I just need to get my mind off of it. Maybe my room will help me to clear my head.”
Luna looked around her surroundings as the tsunami began to disappear and my old room began to form. Where I was sitting, the floor changed into a bed and raised me up to knee level. Then the white walls formed as I felt the soft blanket under my hands and legs. Luna took a seat at my desk chair when it rose as well as my desk and desktop. I sighed as I looked at my wall and a big poster formed that was the tsunami that nearly ended my life. The ends of the poster seem to embed itself into the wall making cracks into the foundation, almost like it was spreading.
“Better?” The Lunar Princess asked as she looked at the poster and seemed to frown.
I nodded with a solemn smile, “A little...” I reached my foot over and kicked the chair lightly to make Luna spin 360 degrees two times. It was quite interesting to see the Princess of the night spinning in my old chair, which made me smirk, "Now I'm feeling better."
Luna laughed when she looked back at me, “Very funny, but let’s get what matters out of the way, I can’t get rid of it by visiting every night.” Her horn illuminated as she levitated a large marble that held my reliving experience with the Tsunami. “This isn’t a type of PTSD, Trey, you're making yourself do this and it’s hurting you in the process as you can see on your wall.”
Sighing I turn my back, trying to not look at it, so I could lay back on the bed, “I have no idea how I’m making myself…”
“Don’t lie, who do you think you’re dealing with?” She said firmly. "I've dealt with many ponies who had this type of behavior and your no exception. Your heart might be alright, but your mind is trying to tell you what is going on."
Deep down, I knew what was going on, but I just didn't have enough time to think. I put my hand on my chest and clenched my shirt as I slowly began to realize why I've been having this dream over and over again.
I turned around to face the wall which seemed to be getting bigger and trying to destroy itself. Then I glanced at Luna who was giving me feelings that I shouldn't be feeling. Then I looked down, “I think I should have died…” I muttered.
The Lunar Princess’s ears perked up, “…Say that again?”
“…I should have died on Earth, I should have darted into that Tsunami and let it take me. I know it’s wrong, my heart says I’m here to stay, but my brain is telling me I shouldn’t have survived that madness.” I didn't want to tell her everything because it would have been awkward, but this was a bigger issue as I felt my throat tightening up, “I feel so worthless, I have no idea what to do, and I’m a foreigner in Equestria and I know I won’t be accepted into Canterlot.” Tears were going down my cheeks as I took a deep breath, “It’s a stupid reason, but it keeps me from getting perky all the time, I wish this sadness, this darkness was taken away from me. I hate it so-“
My speech was stopped when Luna interrupted me loudly, “YOU ARE NOT WORTHLESS TREY!” The room seemed to shake when she used her Royal Canterlot voice.
"But-”
She cleared her throat and looked at me with a stern face, “No buts about it! I know the path that you’re going through and it will lead to suffering. You know as well as I where this will lead if you don’t stop.”
“It will lead to…” Then it clicked, 'Nightmare Moon' I thought as I sighed as I wiped my tears away from my vision, “So I guess jealousy isn't just what Nightmare wants?"
“Exactly, I know jealousy was the main focus of the Nightmare Moon, but that doesn’t mean depression or wishing death wouldn’t be out of the question.” She seemed a little down when saying that almost getting teary-eyed, I was going to ask her what's wrong, but she shook her head.
“Luna…” I sniffed as I got some sort of understanding from her, “I’ll try… It will take some time, but I’ll try to get over that hurdle… As long as you can be there for me.”
Luna put her hooves on my hand with a small smile, “For that alone, I will help you along the way. It’s not going to be every night, but maybe some dream sessions and one-on-one therapy will be in order.”
“That sounds great, Luna. I would like that very much…” She pulled away as we looked at each other, “When do we start?”
She leaned forward as if she was going to kiss me, but just nuzzled my cheek with affection, “Just meet me in the dining area for breakfast and we’ll discuss it further.”
This nuzzle alone stunned me and caused me to not listen to what she said. I felt my cheeks burn as I smiled like an idiot and my dreamscape was turning into darkness. My eyes opening to the morning sun touching the ceiling of my room with an aroused boner once again.
I get up slightly as I touched my cheek. I was silent for a bit as I realized what happened in the dream, but at the same time, I didn’t want to believe it.
“I got nuzzled by Princess Luna…” I say as I blushed and shook my head, “Surely it was just to comfort me?” The silence was all I got as I hurried to the washroom to splash some water on my face. Looking at the mirror, I pointed at myself, “You are a lucky bucker…”
Just as Luna said, she was waiting for me in the dining room after I got dressed and ready to go. I could see that my plate was already set for me with a silver dome covering it from getting cold. I took a seat and pulled that off while taking in the smell of eggs and pancakes.
“Good morning Trey,” Luna spoke as I looked up with a smile.
“Good morning to you as well, Luna.” I greeted back as I grabbed my fork and began to dig in.
The conversation between Luna and me was very light-hearted. We smiled as we talked to one another, laughed or giggled about certain aspects of Luna’s Dream realm while helping other ponies. When I finished with my plate, Luna’s expression was unreadable.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“I wanted to ask you, what did you think of Petra when you met her at the shop?” She asked.
‘Well thank heavens I wasn’t drinking my Orange Juice.’ I thought as I took a safe drink and put it down, “What did you want to know?” I wondered.
Her eyes seem to move down, “Well, um, that is…”
I sighed as I tried to get to the point, “About her being a Nymph?”
Her blush was all the answer I needed as she nodded, “Y-Yes… you’re not bothered with it?”
“I was weirded out if that’s what you’re asking,” I said leaning back on my chair as the Unicorn servants levitated the leftover empty plates and carried them back to the kitchen.
“Is sex taboo on Earth?” She asked.
Feeling my cheeks warm up from what I was trying to say I cleared my throat, “While I am ok with countries celebrating the body like Equestria, I grew up where it was a sacred thing between a partner or significant other. It's going to take a bit to get used to 'those' customs." I said air quoting those in the process.
"There's another question I wish to ask," I nod as she continued, "Are you Polygamous or Monogamous?"
"Monogamous, but I always wondered what Polygamy would be like, to be honest," I said blushing a bit.
"It's a common practice in Equestria since the population of mares overrun the stallion by 1/3. Celestia had her fair share of suitors while I was away, but hasn't had a new suitor in awhile even before my return." Luna explained which she resumed eating her breakfast.
I let out a laugh, "I do believe she's going to have a suitor if a certain draconequus keeps her occupied."
She gave me a smirk as she took a sip of her coffee, "Indeed. I still got to discuss that with her." Her attention was turned to the door as Celestia herself walked into the dining room, her face was unreadable as she sighed.
"Good morning Tia." Luna greeted.
"Morning Luna, Trey." I nod as she sat right next to her sister.
"Morning Celestia, you seem out of it, is something wrong?" I asked.
The Solar Princess was silent for a bit until the servant brought her favorite morning tea. She took a sip, "Before I get to the news, how are your cuffs? Anything wrong with them since yesterday?"
I blinked as I looked at my wrist, "I almost didn't even know if I had them on this morning... Huh." I checked my sister's necklace and it was around my neck as I clenched the lapis lazuli crystal which felt a little warm. Probably from my excess body heat.
Luna gave me a small smile, "Well it is magical after all, don't want you to be uncomfortable by adjusting them all the time." That made smile a bit as I scratched my cheek.
Celestia giggled as she took another sip, "I see that your fitting in our humble abode. I just wanted to inform you that, Luna will be taking you to Ponyville to introduce you to the town."
"Oh?" Luna and I said in unison, "What about the therapy sessions?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I was getting to that sister," The Solar princess continued, "I know about the therapy sessions you and my sister are going to have. While I approve of this, I feel that your sessions shouldn't just be in Canterlot or this Castle." Celestia informed, "That said, Twilight would like to see you Trey and test somethings about why your body is collecting magic and see if you could release it."
I nodded, "I understand that I was wondering if I could use magic myself and I think going over to Twilight's Castle would be the best thing."
Luna looked at her sister, "I know that I'm going with him because of the therapy lessons, but there is something else at work here?"
"Yes, before I went to bed last night, Petra informed me that her shop was beginning to get hot. When she inspected the cooling Talisman and noticed it was cracked. The Talisman has a property where it absorbs magic to keep the heat at bay." She took a drink, "Even though Trey had absorbed magic, the amount of output he let out was equivalent of an average Unicorn pouring his magic into one single spell. The only way you could be able to crack, or even, shatter the Talisman you would need Twilight before she was a Princess."
That... That's was some news I probably shouldn't have heard, but I'm glad that she was honest with me. I looked at my wrists as I flexed my fingers. I tried to remember fan stories of what people would do in this situation: if I could control magic and use it then I'm going to get taught.
"So Luna would be teaching me while having our sessions?" I asked making the Lunar Princess blink.
"Y-Your asking me to be your teacher? Why not Twilight?" She asked looking a bit confused.
I coughed while clearing my throat, "Well, while Twilight would be the candidate to teach me, I feel like she's going to be busy with some friendship problems."
"How can you tell?" Celestia asked curiously.
"Well... The show in my world is still continuing so... I would imagine that she and her friends will become busy and..." My fingers were twiddling around as I felt my cheeks burn up, "I just prefer you, isn't at a crime?"
Seeing Luna turn from confused to having a realization expression to then blushing to my compliment. She looked into my eyes, "I-I understand..." Her head turns to her sister who had a smug face, "E-Excuse me Trey, Sister." Her horn lights up as she teleported out of the room with a pop.
'Did I say something wrong?' I thought as I scratched my head, but when I looked at Celestia, her expression was serious. I laughed nervously, "S-Something o-on your mind Celestia?"
Her serious manner turned to a smile and a giggle, "Sorry for doing that, I can't keep a serious face for long." She finished giggling, "You like my sister, don't you Trey?"
I looked down as I nodded slowly, "...Is it that obvious?..." 'I mean she is my favorite princess.' I thought as I twiddled my fingers.
"A word of advice," I looked up at her, "Make sure to take things slow. She hasn't had a suitor at all and she's relatively new to pony's or you complimenting her."
I gulped, "Noted, anything else?"
The Solar Princess got up and stretched her wings, she teleported in a badge that had the sun and moon symbol and levitated it to my hands, "While you're off, Luna might be called back and this will be your ticket was back to Canterlot if that happens." I put the badge into my front right pocket as she continued, "Make sure not to interrupt her when she has her Night Court." She made her way to the exit, but turned her head with a smirk, "Also the halls have ears, so make sure you don't have too much fun." Celestia winked as she trotted away.
When she left, I planted my forehead to the table with a groan, "Trollestia is somewhat accurate here... Great." My cheeks seem to cool down when touching the cold table as I tried to think about what to do next.
After recovering from an embarrassing situation, I was told by one of the maids to wait at the Castle entrance for Luna when I got out of the dining room. I nodded and quickly made my way back to the room to wear some regular clothes. It wasn’t much, just a blue shirt and jean shorts were put on as I looked in the mirror to adjust my hair a bit. ‘Why am I getting so worked up for?’ I asked myself in thought as the memory of Luna nuzzled me showed when I closed my eyes.
"Get over it..."
I shot my head up and looked behind me. I blinked and I could have sworn someone was standing right next to me. It sent shivers up my spine. Looking at the mirror, I noticed that my right cuff had a black stain on it, not to mention that I could've sworn the crystal glowed a bit as well. I looked down and rubbed it my cuff as my other hand grabbed my necklace. My necklace seems to feel fine and once I removed my finger, it was gone.
"Alright... Weird." I mumbled as I quickly made an exit and went towards the entrance. Luckily, no pony was there with the exception of the Royal Guard posted by.
I waited for a bit, pushed my back against the wall, and closed my eyes while I did. Not even a minute I hear footsteps coming towards the entrance. When I opened my eyes, they were a bit blurred and I used my fists to rub my eyelids. Once I opened them, I saw a blue Pegasus pony who had a light blue mane and cyan eyes.
"Hello, Trey." I was startled by Princess Luna's voice coming out of her and she giggled from that, "I see that my disguise is working?" She smiled.
I placed my hand over my beating heart, "Certainly surprised me, whew..."
"Oh hush now, I didn't scare you that badly," Luna said as she began to walk away.
I began to walk beside her, "I wasn't prepared for it. Is that illusion magic or altering magic?" I asked.
"I'm surprised that you know of such things Trey," Luna turned her head to glance at me.
"Well I read a lot of books about fantasy and fiction when I was growing up, plus my sister just loved that I read it to her for a bedtime story," I explained.
"Interesting, if you must know, it's just an illusion spell, there is a spell that can make me into any forms for a short while, but I feel drained for doing so." She said as the guards let us out of the gates when she gestured towards them.
"Are you sure that I'm allowed to get out of here?" I asked.
"Celestia finished making preparations for you in Canterlot, however, you'll be making your first appearance here in the streets." She looked behind me, "She was very thorough on what your case was to the public, so if anything happens, I'll be here to protect you."
"I'm probably going to regret this, but how was this spread around? Newspaper?" I wondered as I thought about other ways to let anyone know about the news in Equestria. It's not like everypony has dragon fire to communicate instantly.
Luna and I passed several blocks to when I saw the train tracks in view. She looked back and gave me a small smile, "I'll explain more once we get inside the train, understand?"
I nodded as the I noticed that ponies were staring at us. Not sure how I feel when they look at me that way, judging me as I walked. I felt more conscious about it and which made me asked a question. How long would it take for them to accept me?
I shook these thoughts away as 'Luna' pulled out a badge underneath her wing as we went into the train station. This badge had a royal symbol of Celestia and Luna's cutie mark combined into a single circle. 'Luna' went to the ticket master and flashed the badge, "Two tickets please." Without hesitation, he passed the ticket to her, turned her head and gestured me to grab them. Which I did and the next thing I knew we were inside the train, specifically in the VIP train car.
The train car had it's separate rooms, around three, four if you included the bathroom and showers. Each room was set to have two couches, one on each wall and a nice built-in table that has a small kettle with a selection of making tea or coffee. 'Luna' took her seat on the left side and I took the right. They were really comfortable when I sat on them, causing my back to pop.
I see the Pegasus ruffled her feathers and shuddered, "Did you just pop your back?"
I nodded, "Yeah, did that gross you out?"
"It... Did. It caught me off guard." She slightly fidgets, but got comfortable eventually.
"Well, now we're even on getting off our guard," I smirked.
That got her to giggle, "Sure." I see her 'horn' illuminating as she turns on the kettle, "Now, let's explain what has happened when you arrived."
I gulped, "While you explain, you could let me fix your drink." Grabbing the tea packet and coffee mix, "Coffee or Tea?"
"Very well, I'll have some green tea." She said as her 'horn' was put out. "As you fix it listen very carefully, you've arrived in this world assuming you were by yourself?" I nodded, "While that is correct, objects from your world have been appearing in many places in and outside of Equestria." The kettle was beginning to boil, "Once we got word of this, we kept it quiet from you so we could confirm that these objects were foreign." Her horn lit up again to teleport in a picture, "This is the Everfree forest, could you identify what is on this image? Twilight was able to identify it because she went to the other realm."
I looked at the picture and saw a pile of trash, but giving a better look at it, there was a phone, some different sweets and chips that seem to be muddy and wet, "It's a cell phone, candy, and chips from Earth."
Luna nodded as she teleported the photo away, "The same answer as Twilights." I heard the train's whistle as the train prepared to move, "Now there are other objects that appeared, but as you could see, pony's started to panic. Once we confirmed that it was, in fact, your world, we had to fess up in a meeting full of political leaders." There was a jolt as the train began to move and the conductor muffled shout, 'Next stop Ponyville!', Luna continued, "I'll spare you the long explanation, we told them that you were here with us and explained the situation."
"So you told everyone who was there about me? Was I just ratted out?" I asked as Luna shook her head.
"You didn't request your presence to be a secret did you?" She got me there, and I suppose that it would have caused trouble if I did keep my existence secret. Then I realized what happened when I met that one pony during the Royal Court. Luna saw this too as if she read my mind, "The newspapers were still fresh when you and I walked towards the line so ponies were surprised, to say the least, or say startled by your sudden appearance."
"I didn't give them enough time to think about my presence." I sighed.
"It's not your fault, we had to hold our tongue from telling you any of this because it is involving with the royal crown and it's connections," Luna explained.
The kettled dinged as I turned it off and pulled out a cup for her. Once prepared, I got myself one, tossed in two sugarcubes and mixed.
"Thank you, Trey, I hope this explanation eases some of your questions." She said grabbing the cup and taking a sip.
I took a drink from my cup and placed it back on the table, "I... I'm a bit sad that you and Celestia kept it a secret from me, but at the same time I understand, your world has rules it has to follow. I really can't get in the way of that, it would complicate things a bit."
Luna nodded, "Yes, it would. We had to explain everything a be truthful about anything were involved with. Ever since my return, my sister had to explain to everyone about why I wasn't corrupt, I had to spend my first couple of months in my room." She looked out the window, "It's sad yes, but it gave me some time to recoup."
I rest my arms on the table, "I suppose that I'm the same, except for the nightmare thing." She looked at me, "I'm still new in Equestria and I need to make a good impression and I guess Celestia thought it would be good to visit Ponyville first."
Luna looked down at her tea, "Correct Trey, and oh, once more thing. Since I'm in this form you can call me Lumen. Calling me Luna would raise some eyebrows." She said.
"Alright, Lumen." She looked up at me with a small smile, "Did I say something wrong?"
"N-no, I just realized that I've been explaining about your presence that we haven't started the counseling. Silly me." Luna laughed.
"Oh! Right, the counseling! Might as well get it started then." I said laying back on the couch as I looked out the window to my right to only see darkness as the train went through a tunnel.
When the light returned, I looked to Luna who gave me a small smile, "We shall."
Thus, Luna began her counseling and I felt I was getting closer by getting to know her. The train continued down the mountain towards Ponyville as we exchanged words that would help me out in the end.
