The Company is something of a mystery, and anypony can become a client. Only a small number of ponies have been willing to admit being clients. Usually happy couples that found love and no longer do business there. Beyond an acknowledgement by the Royal Guard that The Company is operating in full legality, with no known shady dealings, little else is known by the general public.

The Company's only known public comments can be found in their brochure:

Let me offer a quick summary about The Blind Date Company and what this is all for.

The premise in the first chapter is completely free for use by anyone that wants to use the concept for their own ship ideas, and in fact I encourage other authors to take advantage of it. The whole point is providing a plausible excuse for starting whatever crack-ship comes to mind. By all means, have fun and just link back to this story as the inspiration. Feel free to use the cover image as well.

Aside from a Twining already nearing completion that will be an entirely separate story itself, I may not write another piece like this beyond Fun With The Sun for quite a while. It all depends on my getting a good idea and deciding to run with it. The Soarestia chapter is the only one that could be considered semi-canon to The Blind Date Company verse. All other ideas are likely going to be strictly for fun, usually romantic in nature, and almost always clop oriented, though I would indicate as much if that changes. There is also nothing that says I couldn't do an HiE one at some later point, though I have no current plans for this.

Also, for any authors that may wish to write something naughty under this premise, but don't want to have clop on their own account, you are welcome to send me a PM to discuss letting me put your work under this archive. I created this account for this very purpose myself. In keeping with the theme, you are welcome to remain publicly anonymous, with only private discussion with me about being a guest author (this could include longer clop pieces being made as a separate story, if necessary). My only caveat is meeting a sufficient writing standard for inclusion on this archive. To meet site rules, I would also need to help co-author on some level, but such could be arranged.
