This premise actually got started when I was working on another story I'll post soon after this one, once it's done.

It's funny how things get started sometimes. Now I have an easy crack-ship excuse premise whenever I feel like a pair of characters should get kinky.

Hope it inspires others to take a shot at a bit of fun!

The Blind Date Company brochure

The Blind Date Company provides a completely anonymous and adventurous dating service, with a bias towards sexual liaisons. With only a few special circumstances arranged in advance, every meeting requires clients to be wearing a blindfold at all times.

Clients may find multiple discreetly marked doors into our basement location. The doors themselves are found within the first floor hallways inside the building itself, which the Company owns. The Company itself resides underneath a number of varied ordinary businesses in the same building, and the numerous main entry doors open to staircases leading down into a number of controlled doors and hallways that help greatly reduce the chances for all clients in meeting by accident. Even the concierge, the only staff member that clients have any direct contact with and randomly placed each day, provides information and collects fees through a small window in a private room with a single client at a time. Arranged meetings even have their main entry doors assigned for the scheduled day, usually on opposite sides of the building. The Company is exceptionally discreet, while also not hiding anything but the identities of our clientele. The Blind Date Company is an open secret for those that want to seek out our services.

All clients are almost completely unknown beyond a membership number, even to The Company. Each membership number is magically tethered to every individual client so it remains unique, though no individual pony on staff has access to complete links. Pairings between clients only happen if both clients select each other's profile. Each is screened by the staff to preserve anonymity, and initial desired reason to meet. From there, clients go through a question sheet for how to approach the first meeting. The goal is providing every client maximum possible control over their meetings. It is a key goal for The Company to make every client comfortable with both the process and their meetings, regardless of social class, personal wealth, rank, privilege, or sexual experience. If a client connects with somepony’s personality, the rest is up to them to decide.

Note: Clients attempting any actions not previously arranged or otherwise unwanted by their partner, such as attempted forced penetration in any form, will be refused continued access to The Company’s services, and may even invoke a special arrangement with the Royal Guard specifically for dealing with abusive clients, which includes immediate loss of client anonymity and possible charges. The safety, comfort and enjoyment of clients in every meeting is sacrosanct and our highest priority. Fetish play is welcome. Abuse is not.

Mandatory medical screenings to ensure the continued good health of all clients are done by magical scan through a cloth partition, with necessary questions asked under voice alteration by The Company’s attending physician. Potential or returning clients found to have anything of concern will be given recommendations of treatment by the physician conducting the scans and expected time for recovery before seeking The Company’s services further. If arranged as part of a meeting, clients may also receive all manner of contraceptive spells ahead of engaging in heat-related activities. As our full selection of spells of this nature are in the public forum, clients may request one or more of any publically available spell to prevent pregnancy.

For initial meetings and many options, the specially paired rooms The Company provides for clients are a little snug, but purpose-built. A simple small bed and a set of shelves are the only furniture, with private showers available down the hall after a meeting on request. In every paired meeting room, the shelves stock a standard supply of toys, lube and other basics, as well as drinking water, towels, and even a bottle of mouthwash and bucket for rinsing. Special requests can be stocked by request after a first meeting. In addition to the standard items, the shelf also holds a stand with two crystals, one white and one red. The white one indicates if the opposing room has been occupied, letting clients know their partner is present. The red is for the individual client themselves, letting them know that if something goes wrong and they are in distress for any reason (such as medical events or awkward injuries), the staff has someone already on the way to help, though at the cost of some anonymity for obvious reasons. Detection of such situations is done through specific emotional aura state triggers appearing within the meeting room.

On the thin sheet metal wall opposite the door is a hole about 8 inches across. Depending on which type and side of the paired rooms the client is on, the wall can be flat, or specially shaped to support a comfortable mounting position relative to the hole between rooms. The surrounding walls are strictly sound-proofed, while the dividing wall has a custom enchantment for sound control, capable of being adjusted to bar sound from the other side entirely, or merely alter the voices of the clients in a natural manner, while still maintaining full anonymity, the method of voice alteration changes at random each visit.

The cover of the hole that clients interact through is just a thin metal plate not much thinner than the wall itself. It will only open once both clients have donned the enchanted mask located on the shelf beside the crystals. Much like the dividing wall, the mask provides a voice alteration enchantment, allowing the same degree of anonymity even in joint rooms without a dividing wall. The mask will also be very difficult to remove or disturb unless the wearer speaks an unlocking phrase, allowing clients to focus on their desired activities, rather than their mask. Even if forced away from the face or otherwise circumvented, donning the mask and having the hole between paired rooms open also turns out all the lights, further protecting every client's anonymity. After all, one has no need for lights with a blindfold on.

In addition to this, clients concerned about not being able to tell what anything is around them will be relieved to know the masks also have an option to show the client silhouette shapes if the appropriate activation phrase is spoken. However, The Company has noticed few clients find this necessary outside of toy use, with most surveyed clients reporting that the lack of all sight enhanced every sensation felt.

For more involved activities, such as more than two clients engaging each other at the same time, or two clients simply wishing to have more access to each other’s bodies, The Company also provides shared rooms of varying types and prices. Whether for full body lovemaking, or enjoying activities like bondage, each joint room has a two or more separate entry rooms for setting down personal bags and donning the required mask.

For those enjoying The Company’s services for actual dating purposes, some of these rooms are also the place where clients may arrange to reveal themselves to each other, namely, the Reveal Rooms. What is done with this knowledge is entirely up to the clients involved.

Exactly who has been a client of The Blind Date Company remains unknown, despite all the rumors of celebrities supposedly being seen in the area at one time or another. Among other reasons, it is important to remember there are many places in the vicinity that provide temporary illusory appearance spells that we partner with. Such services do include some of the various visual attributes of famous ponies. Client anonymity protection begins before a client even reaches our doors.

Some ponies suspect even the Princesses themselves might use our services on occasion to let off stress. Other rumors claim one or both of them might secretly be the owners. The only thing anypony has ever confirmed about The Blind Date Company is that every client has remained entirely anonymous, with a standing perfect record. Only those that desire to let it be known have ever been confirmed, and only through self-admission.
