Queen Quake is up early in the morning, for once in her life looking for Richter Scales. It appears as though something else is bothering her, there is a definite purpose within her hooves as she walks.

“Richter Scales, Richter Scales, oh where has that drake gotten off to!” The Queen exclaimed looking around, walking very loudly in a nearly completely empty castle as she enters into the library. The earth begins to rumble with her frustration till Quake shouts out at the top of her lungs,
“Richter SCALES!!!!”
The castle rumbles a bit more and there is the sound of a crash of books as well as the sigh of a little dragon before the last and lightest of the books he was holding fly back down to the ground and crumple upon the two under it.

"Yes my Royal Pain in the Earth?" The small dragon starts to say.

"What was that?" Queen Quake snaps back.

"I mean, what can I help you with, your Royal-Obsidian-Hearted-Ness?" Richter replies having composed himself and making sure that all of his books are in proper order.

“Richter Scales, Take a Note.” The queen says as the magic of those words forwards a quill, ink, and parchment to appear inside the dragon's hands.

"Dear Princess Celestia," Quake begins, as the dragon starts to right, his scribbling echoing after the queen while she paces around the room. "Today I write," Richter gives a snort of disagreement which is quickly snipped by Quake in the most decisively playful of voices, "Silence! Today I write to you on the topic of another of my henchponies. Andreas, though not the brightest of ponies, is a large pony on whom I hoped I could rely as an enforcer: A captain of the Guard, as it were. I had thought him to be corundum but it seems he was false slate: stiff and easily broken."

While Queen Quake takes a moment to compose and prepare for the next part of the letter, Richter Scales decides to interject. "What did he do?"

Without missing a beat the Queen continues as though her answer to his question was also the next part of the letter. "He first made that ridiculous bargain about allowing the (disgust and perhaps a bit uncertain) hayu-mans to decide the winner of the staff. And although I won in the end, it was stupid to hazard my victory on the whims of the peasantry. What kind of system would do that?"

Richter scales starts to explain to Queen Quake just what kind of system would do that but, "According to the research I have been able to do across the dimensional divide there are several-" He is silenced mid sentence by a long quip from the queen.

"BOOOOORRRRINGGGGGG! Back to my letter: Andreas further belied his usefulness by failing to understand the idea of sapping the ground beneath another position to make them far less solid both in defense and politcality." She continues building herself up to a full head of steam and preparing for a rant that only a madman would listen to. "He was made mockery of and thus my own name was sullied without his even trying to knock the spoiled little-"

Seeing where this is going and not wanting to build a new section of the castle to replace something Queen Quake shakes apart or cause her to upset herself by her destructive nature, decides to cut her off at the pass with some more calming words. "So he did not beat some kid’s flank and now you are mad at him."

Queen Quake hears this and lets out a sigh, her full head of angry vengeance deflated for the moment, "
Well... Not as such. But I still caught him fraternizing with the enemy towards the end and that I cannot forgive." She replies with an absolute certainly about herself the likes of which could only come from royalty.

Richter Scales shrugs, crisis adverted for now at least. "Sounds like he just talked with them but if you say so. Anyway. Anything else you wanna add to the letter to the Princess?" He says trying to keep this subject moving while Queen Quake is calm.

"Tell her I, we, well I don’t know if it is I or We but, we wish to properly open dialog between us and..." The Queen begins and then bites her lips and begins to say the next words as though it were pure poison being spat out of a viper's maw, "WE REQUEST that she do so at her earliest convenience."

Happy to have done his job, Richter Scales finishes his writing, signs Queen Quakes name and adds the stamp before he starts to talk "Alright. I will just proof read this, cross reference any facts,-"

Queen Quake interrupts him of course as she walks off down the hall, getting further and further away, her back turned to the little drake and voice drifting off. "Yes. Yes. You will do your royal scribe's duties. Blah, blah, blah. Oh, and you handle all the pointless busy work of scheduling. I have a kingdom to rule and subjects to properly subjugate."

"...indeed." The dragon says and then under his breathe, "It is not as if you actually DO anything that needs to be scheduled around."

With a speed only a full blown race horse could achieve the queen stomps back at Richter Scales and snorts out a few words right into his face, "I heard that, pie-ton!"

"It’s peon!" The drake replies and then adds, "You pumice head."
Queen Quake starts to speak but decides to let this one go, at least he was half right and besides, she was tired of trying to argue with the imprudent drake.

This was taken shortly after the convention before further events could happened at the convention and once the dust had settled. This is also as Queen Quake begins to take her position as ruler of Sanfransicolt.

Do understand that this is to expand upon the Universe and Characters created by Babscon 2016. There may be other series started for other characters and in the future we are considering bringing in the other actors from time to time to work on this.
