The Principal & The Student

It had been a few more months since Cinch gave birth to Crab Cake's daughter Bohemia Cakes, a name chosen by Crab Cakes because of her color pattern matching that of the Czech Republic/Czechoslovakian flag. Unfortunately for the married couple Cinch had to quit her position as Principal in order to help Crab Cakes raise their kid. Though Crab Cakes did still keep his position as new principal Cadence's assistant and made the same pay as he did while working with his wife. But on the side, he worked as a substitute history teacher to ear a little more pay. Who knew he was a wizard in it?

Today Crab Cakes was filling in for the usual as he had gotten a severe case of tuberculosis and called in Crab Cakes to fill in for him on a subject involving the Great War. Or as you all know it as World War I. But it was during a lecture about Trench Warfare that something would come back to haunt him...

"...and that class." Crab Cakes said wearing a full WWI German Uniform, "Is why Trench Warfare is almost never used in modern day."

"Hey, question. Why in the blue hell are you in a German Uniform? This isn't kindergarten." laughed one of the students

"Because why not? Also, it's no different than your uniform smart ass." Crab Cakes retorted, "And since you seem to like my uniform, obvious by the fact you even asked such a question, I expect you, Mr. Blueblood, to write me a five hundred word essay on why the German World War I uniform is the best one by tomorrow."

The whole class then laughed at Blueblood who was fuming but then sighed once the bell then rang.

"Remember class! Tomorrow we're going over all the fronts in the Great War along with who fought in which front!" Crab Cakes announced before everyone left the classroom

Crab Cakes was then setting up for his next class when he heard a knocking on the door.

"Door's unlocked." Crab Cakes hollered

The door then opened... and Crab Cakes nearly dropped his marker out of surprise. It was them. The ones he confronted all those months ago.

"What. Are. YOU! Doing here." Crab Cakes said sternly

"We... we came to apologize." Sunset said simply

"As if." Crab Cakes scoffed as they entered the room, "I thought I made it perfectly clear I never wanted to see any of you ever again after the way you treated me and my wife."

"Wife?!" The shouted

"Yes. Wife. We're perfectly and legally married now and on top of that, I've got a kid now that I'm raising alongside her." Crab Cakes said

"Wow. Dude, I never thought you two would get together." Rainbow Dash added

"And what the hell is THAT suppost to mean?" Crab Cakes asked with a frustrated look

"We... we did jump to conclusions... And... We're sorry." Luna replied

"We've just never dealt with one of our own going out with someone else who was of Crystal Prep. Much less the Principal herself." Celestia explained

"Former."

"Huh?" They asked

"Cinch is no longer the principal. Cadence is. My wife had to quit so she could take care of our daughter." Crab explained

"Oh.... I see..." Luna said in a somber tone

"And for the record? My name's no longer Skull. It's Crab Cakes. I work here as Cadence's assistant. I'm only subbing for the history teacher today because I'm making a little extra cash on top of my already fat paycheck." Crab explained

"Well anyways." Sunset stated, "We just wanted to say we're sorry for attacking you two like we did. We just didn't understand the love you two shared for each other and, at the time, we didn't want to understand because she was the enemy. The leader of our rival school."

"Well guess what? Apology NOT accepted." Crab replied

"WHAT?!" they shouted

"We said we were sorry!" Rarity stated

"Yeah. And I DO NOT forgive you." Crab said simply

"WHY?!" Rainbow asked

"It's been MONTHS since you people attacked me and my wife like you did. You had PLENTY of time to come out and admit you were wrong about jumping on us! Time mends all wounds right? Wrong. I will NEVER forgive ANY of you for the way you treated me and my precious wife. It's just now that you come crawling back to me and beg for forgiveness? No. You're not getting that satisfaction. NONE of you are. You attacked us, and you HURT us just by assuming something to the equivalent of thinking I was under mind control! You guys were suppost to be understanding people, but from what you did to me, you left a knife in my back I've NEVER recovered from!"

"But-"

"No. None of you are getting a word in edgewise in. You're not getting the satisfaction of justifying what you did."

"Uhh... Not sure you get what's happening here." Sunset said, "This could be the last chance we ever-"

"No. I'm not gonna give you closure. I'm not gonna give ANY of you closure. You don't get that. You'll all have to live with the shitty thing you did, for the rest of your lives. You have to know that it's NEVER, EVER, gonna be okay."

"I really think we'd feel better if we-"

"I'm NOT okay with what ANY of you did to me and my wife." Crab restated, cutting off Celestia, "I'm not gonna feel better! And I'm not gonna become a puppet to any of you to use at your leeway!"

"We wanted to talk to you Skull, we really did!" Pinkie said

"They why didn't you? Huh?" Crab asked, "Many months you never tried to talk to me."

"L-l-look. We wanted to. But we didn't think-"

"Do you know what it's like to have the people you once called your allies yell at you for seemingly no reason? It feels like you have nobody. That everyone's turned on you. I knew once word got out that everyone at CHS would hate me and never want to speak to me again because THEY didn't even bother trying to help me during my drug problem, but you guys?"

"It's not our fault you quit-"

"I don't CARE about that stupid spying stuff I did anymore! I've moved on from it, and come to accept it as a phase in my life that's helped me grow to become the person I am today! I'm doing fine. I have a good life. But what I needed then was, a friend. And none of you offered me a chance to have a friendship when I was showing the obvious signs that I NEEDED one. And you ended up abandoning me as a result of me not sticking to your so-called norm. And I will NEVER forgive you for that. Now get the fuck out of my classroom." Crab Cakes said pointing to the door

"J-just listen to us!" Sunset screamed

"You know what your problem is?! You people wanna think of yourselves as the good guys! But I can tell you that you're NOT! In fact, you people would probably sleep a lot better at night if you would just admit you people are prejudice against people who don't fall into your ideals of a good person and don't give a shit about who you hurt as a result of your actions! That's you! That's the Rainbooms!" Crab Cakes shouted back, "Now leave before I have to call the cops!"

"Come on ya'll. Ah, don't even know why we came here." Applejack said in a monotone voice

"Yeah. You do." Crab said back

They all left one by one, except for Sunset who was practically crying.

"You've changed Skull...." Sunset said behind her tears

"I'm not the one that's changed Sunset." Crab said softly, "It's you and your so-called friend entourage that's bringing harm to people... she-demon."

That was the last straw. Sunset then ran away crying as she joined up with the others.

"It might've been harsh, but it needed to be said." Crab said to himself

Soon enough Crab returned home to Cinch and Bohemia's smiles.

"How was work?" Cinch asked

"THEY confronted me down at Crystal Prep." Crab explained with Cinch knowing EXACTLY who he was referring to causing her smile to drop

"What did they say?" She asked

"They came to try and apologize."

"Did you forgive them?"

".... No." Crab said simply

"Did you let them have it like you said you would if you didn't forgive them?"

"Eeyup."

"They won't be bothering us anytime soon then." Cinch said with a sigh as Crab took Bohemia

"To think... This whole mess began with a principal and a student....."
