"...Thanks for that girls, it means a lot to me." I said. After drying my face and trying to regain my composure I asked, "Hey Rarity, is my order at the boutique ready?" "I am going to Canterlot to read at the library before the gala." I explained.

"Yes, you can pick it up when you are ready later today." She answered.

"Okay, thank you Rarity." I said as she and the rest of Twilight's friends left the library. "Hey Twilight, can you do me a huge favor?" I asked.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Unless Celestia asks you a question that calls for it as the answer, don't tell Celestia about any of this." I said. "And I am not asking this to try to keep some image, I just don't want word of me breaking down like that spreading too far, and I'll tell her myself after the gala, I'm staying a day or two afterwards for a few things, mainly to talk so I'll mention it then...is that alright?" I explained then asked.

"S-...Sure thing Nick." She replied after some thought.

"Okay Twilight, I'm just gonna go and get my outfit for the gala. When I get back I plan on teleporting me and some of my stuff to my room in the castle. I need to ask the princesses a few things the day after the gala, I also want Celestia to know that I told you girls about this before the gala." I told her. "I-Is that alright with you?" I asked, not wanting to anger the one currently housing me.

"Sure, that's okay."

"Then I'll be back in a minute." I said as I left the library.

On the way to get my cloths for the gala I got mixed looks, a few seemed to be curious, most looked either scared of me and a very small few gave caring looks. I feet better now, than when I left just knowing that not everypony thinks I'm a terrible monster just for my demonic side.

I walked in to the boutique with a smile on my face, "Hey Rarity, I'm here for my order." I said as I saw her walk up the counter. "S-So.... how much will it be?" I asked hesitantly

"Don't worry about payment, darling. The first order from any costumer is always free." She said with a genuine smile on her face as she held out the tuxedo.

"Okay, thank you so much Rarity." I said as I turned to leave.

"Your welcome darling." Rarity said as I left the boutique. I got a similar assortment of looks on the way back to the library.

"Hey Twilight, I'm back!" I called as I entered.

"Hello Nick, how did it go?" Twilight asked as she walked downstairs.

"Quite well, nothing I didn't expect." I said.

"What is that supposed to mean?" She asked.

"I got a few scared looks as I walked there, but I was caught off guard when a few ponies looked like they cared." I said. "But don't worry Twi. I'm fine, I expected a few bad looks after what happened last night."

"Okay, if you say so." She said worriedly.

"Well, I should get going. Bye Twilight." I said as I walked towards the stairs.

"See you at the gala." Twilight said as she walked towards the kitchen.

I walked into my room and sighed, "Oh boy, this is gonna take it out of me." I began to focus on me and the stuff I wanted to teleport: My bed, assassin bag, dresser, and tuxedo. I then summoned my magic.

With a snap I was in the castle in my room. "Man, it feels good to see this place again." I sighed as I laid down on my bed.

"Hey, who's in there!" I heard a voice call from the other side of the door, I then heard struggling at the knob.

"Hold on I'm coming." I said as I got up and walked over.

When I opened it I saw a white stallion with a mane that was blue with a streak of light blue, and was wearing armor that was flashier than usual guard armor. "Wh- What are you, and why are you here?" The stallion asked as he lifted his sword.

"I am Nick Fitzgerald, Human, the one who fought Night Mare Moon with the elements of harmony. This is my room, if you don't believe anything I said then go ask the princesses." I said not amused.

"You, go verify what was said." The guard, that I am guessing is the captain said.

"Well, you have my name, what's yours? I am guessing that you are of higher rank than most of the guards here." I said.

"I am Captain Shining Armor, and yes I am in charge of the royal guards. Now how did you get in there, nopony other than the princesses have been able to." He said sternly but equally curious.

"I teleported, but as far as who can enter, I am as clueless as you. But if I had to guess, I'd say the princesses sealed it somehow." I told Shining.

Then the guard then came back with Celestia right behind him. "Oh hello there Nick, what brings you here? Well, come we have much to discuss" She said. At this the guards started making way for me to get to her.

I walked through the path made and when I got to her a bowed my head. "I came because I got this." I said as I showed her my gala ticket. "I am also here to read in the library. And well....let's just say Ponyville know about my lineage." I finished as we got out of an earshot of the guards.

"Well...that isn't good, why did you reveal yourself?" She asked.

"Because yesterday Ponyville got attacked by an Ursa Major and a minor. I only used my power to defend the town......I-I'm sorry Celestia." I said starting to get upset from remembering all the looks I got. T-They looked at me....like a.......like I was... NO get a hold of your self, your friends accept you and maybe in time they will too

"Is something wrong?"

"No Celestia, nothing is wrong." I lied as I put on the best fake smile I can.

"...Okay."

"If you'll excuse me this is where I need to be." I said as I walked into the library. "Okay now I just need to start reading. But first, where is that secret room Faust mentioned? I looked around and noticed 5 slight indentations that looked like I could fit my finger through.

I then made a magical copy of myself and had it begin reading. Then I began to examine the indents. I tried sticking my fingers in them but nothing happened. Then a stupid idea came to my mind however, considering my lack of smart ones I went with it. I charged a little of my magic into my fingers then put my fingers in. Weirdly, that worked and a door started opening.

I then rushed in and closed the door. When I got a good look at the room I saw only a table with a bag similar to my assassin bag. I curiously opened it and found 4 things.
1. some books of old, forbidden, and powerful magic
2. a note explaining that this room is exclusively mine to do whatever I please in
3. A belt holding about 25 throwing knives
4. a list of duties to preform as an assassin, and my fist target, seems like an okay one for my first templar.

The target's name: Shifty Deal
Gender: Male
Profession: Real Estate (Plans to kill Celestia)
Race: Earth Pony
My Job: Kill him before he can kill Celestia then get out
Target's ETA: 2:30 P.M. the day of the gala

I looked it over and noticed there was an envelope with evidence of his involvement with the Templars and illegal dealings. I then put everything away and teleported back into my room. Then I noticed it was about 12:00 so I left and looked for the dining hall for lunch. When I got there I saw the prince leaving with a light smirk on his face.

Cautiously, I entered and saw I plate with random meats with my name next to it. I then saw the cook and asked, "Did BlueBlood have to do with that?"

"You are a carnivore right?" The cook asked.

"No. Humans are omnivores, they can eat plants too. But a nice pasta dish would be nice. Thank you for trying with the meat though, I appreciate it." I said thankfully. "A word to the wise, if it is regarding me don't completely trust Blueblood about anything unless somepony else confirms it." I said.

"Alright." The cook said as she left to cook my meal.

I want to know so much...yet I don't know where to go...none of the books in the library have helped.... I was thinking as my plate arrived. "Thanks...Ummmm..."

"Prefect Serve-"

"Thank you very much Prefect Serve, Its very delicious." I said thankfully. I enjoy pasta the most out of ANY meal, and you make it so good. Yeah it's just putting them in water, but this tastes SOOO good. Therefore, I thank you once again." I said

"Y-your welcome."

"Well, I have 1 last thing I MUST do before the gala. Farewell." I said as I left for my room.

I got to my room and say Luna looking at my dresser. "Why is this dresser uneven, maybe something is underneath it?" She said.

"Hey Luna, why are you looking through my stuff, did something roll in or something?" I asked. At that Luna quickly.

"What art thou- Oh Nick,Uh..well thou-"

"Luna, calm down."

"We were passing by when a peculiar noise came from in here along with an odd light so we came in to ensure that nopony had come in, then thou came in." She said.

"Okay, I believe you but just for the future, that was probably me teleporting something in here, my magical aura or whatever you call the light that appears when somepony uses a spell, is black, was that the color you saw?" I asked as I levitated a pillow behind her and showed it to her.

"Yes...we think so. Yes it was." She confirmed.

"Okay, well, I need to get dressed for the gala...sooo-"

"O-Oh w-w-we are sorry we shall l-l-l-leave immediately!" Luna stammered as she left.

When Luna left I pulled my assassin bag out from under the dresser she was looking at. I'm just glad she didn't see this before I got here...or at least I hope she didn't....

When it was out I moved it into the gap between the bed and the floor. "Better, for now. Well, I have to get dressed, the gala is starting. So after what felt like hours of carefully putting on my tuxedo, I grabbed my ticket and walked out of the castle and into the gala as it started.

Author's Note

1st, before a certain someone KILLS me for this. All I said in the comments was that the gala would start during this chapter, I said no more than that.
And one more thing, let me explain the target better, The target is a real estate pony who works for the templars and he plans to make a deal with Celestia that gives the templars A TON of land for next to nothing, and if this goes south he will kill her and fake her signature to get the land. It's Nick's job to make sure Celestia doesn't die and that the deal doesn't go through by killing the templar before Celestia can agree (if she does)

And finally, I want to make something clear, I know for a fact as many do. This story isn't anywhere NEAR prefect...and all that crap. Please, if you think something is bad tell me about it, I can't promise anything about time but I WILL see it eventually. After that I will make the needed changes. AS LONG AS you are at least somewhat nice, I WILL not respond if you insult me, I, like other people don't like getting insulted. IF I SEE an insult ANYWHERE in the comment, I will stop reading and delete the comment as of 7/27/2016. Thank you and good day.
