"What do you mean Nick?" Twilight asked feeling concerned for me.

"Nothing- just that I get to fight an Ursa major and a minor, at the same time!" I said with fake glee that even Pinkey Pie would notice it, starting to walk towards the two Ursas.

"Why do you have to fight them?" Twilight asked.

Hearing Twilight's question I stopped and looked at her. "Simple Twilight, nopony else is gonna fight them. And if nopony does anything then the town will probably get destroyed by them. Not to mention that they don't look like they are willing to talk things over." I explained. Noticing Twilight starting to look worried I said, "Look Twilight, I don't want to fight them either, but somepony has to. But I promise you that I will come back alive."

"Fine, but I'm holding you to that promise."

"I wouldn't have it any other way." I said as I resumed walking, I snapped my finger to summon my suit of armor. It isn't THAT flashy but still looks cool, having a black phoenix spreading its wings over a vast sea of flames. I then summoned my sword. It is a double edged sword with a black blade with a flashy violet cross guard that has a shiny opal in the middle of it. It's sheath isn't anything special either, It is tied to my back and is made from brown leather, my sword fits quite well in it though.

Having my equipment ready I called out to the beasts. "HEY YOU WANT TO CAUSE ANY MORE DESTRUCTION, you will have to go through me." I said, starting off loud to get the attention of the Ursas, and having captured their attention I ran forward with my sword unsheathed and ready for a good fight.

I decided to go after the minor first so I leaped towards it. The major must have noticed this because it stepped in front of my target, however I was prepared for this. I stopped my forward momentum and jumped up on an arc. I went just over the major and landed on the minor. I then hit the minor in the back of the neck, knocking it out. Unfortunately for me, the major noticed this and got much angrier and ran at me. I wasn't fast enough to dodge as it slammed its paw on me. Fortunately it didn't do that much to me, so I shook it off and jumped back to get some space. The major ran at me again, but this time I was ready so I jumped straight up and landed on the Ursa. Knowing what I was planning the Ursa managed to shake me off. It then hit my gut with the flat of its paw and used the momentum to throw me backwards. I landed in the library and I saw Twilight guarding the door.

"You won't get into my library! Nor will you hurt Nick!!" I heard Twilight yell. After that I heard cloths ripping.

Fearing the worst I sprinted out the door and saw Twilight with three bleeding gashes. I then saw spike run out of the library. "Spike. Take Twilight to the hospital, but take this." I said holding the grip of my sword towards Spike.

"B-But I ca-"

"Look Spike, it is to defend Twilight, and you might not have to use it at all but, I'd just rather know that I left you something to defend yourself with." I explained. "Besides, I won't need it." I said as the whites of my eyes turned green. I saw Spike standing still with the blade in his claws and Twilight on his back, "What are you waiting for!? GO!!" I yelled.

"O-O-Okay." Spike stuttered as he picked up Twilight and started to dart to the hospital.

I then removed the gauntlets from my hands and made my nails grow slightly and come to a sharp point. "Alright Ursa, let's have some FUN SHALL WE!!?" I said sadistically. I got a roar in response and bounded towards the Ursa major.

The Ursa made the first move by trying to slam its paws on me again but I dodged and clawed at the Ursa's leg to at least slow it down, then jumped up on top of it and knocked out with a kick to the back of the neck as well. Then I made sure the minor was still out and started preparing to teleport the two into the cave that I fought Nightmare in so that they couldn't come back for a while.

As I readied the spells two magic circles appeared under the two Ursas, I heard many ponies gasping and I felt my wings being touched. I ignoring it all, finished the spell with a snap of my fingers. In a flash of light the two Ursas were gone. I turned and saw Pinkey touching my left wing. My wings are both jagged, black, and webbed. My left one was mildly less jagged than my right one and had a few layers of feathers covering it. The only notable feature about my right wing that I haven't said is that its more jagged than the left one.

"Well, there isn't anymore hiding it anymore I guess. Pinkey. you know my heritage right?" I asked. Receving a nod I told her. "Then do me a favor, tell them about it. But don't bring up the part about hte demon being the one that made Luna Night Mare Moon unless you are asked to, Okay?"

"Okkie Dokkie Lokie!" She said with a nod and left.

I saw Twilight (in different cloths) returning with Spike. I walked up to them groggily and told Twi. "Listen I'm fine but, after I get my suit tomorrow and read a little from you library, I plan on going to Canterlot to read there. We can talk more about it when I wake up. Because for now...I'm taking...a nap." As I finished I passed out from exhaustion, and after Twilight and Spike checked for wounds I was placed into bed in my room.

I saw Faust in my sleep again tonight. "Hey there Faust. How are you doing tonight?" I greeted.

"I am doing well. I have called you tonight because after some extra thought, I have decided to tell you why I am having you go to the Gala." Faust said. Then her face turned from one of joy, into one of despair and she said, "It is because of Luna, she doesn't feel accepted and-" Faust started

"You want me to talk to her to show her that there are some out there that see her a Luna and not Night Mare Moon, right" I finished.

"Yes, but just know that I am not asking you to lie to her. But I am confident that if somepony talks to her, she might regain a little confidence in herself.

"Sure, anything for her." I said. "I mean you!" I quickly corrected as a massive blush covered my face.

Faust laughed at me for a moment. When her composure returned she asked, "So you love her?"

"Honestly, yeah. We are in similar positions and stuff. So, yes I do care about her...but I also carry feelings for Celestia, I'm not sure if it is just because she was the first pony to accept me or if it 's TRUE love." I said. "Either way, I don't plan on doing much more than casual conversation with anypony at the Gala."I decided.

"Aright then, just know that while it may or may not have been allowed, but in THIS world a male can be in a relationship with as many females as desired, as long as everypony involved agrees anyway" She said.

My eyes widened at this and after my composure had returned I looked her with a serious face and told her, "Alright, well either way I plan on waiting till after the Gala to make progress towards a serious relationship."

As I started to wake up Faust said, "Search the library when you start reading its books, there is a secret room to which your magic is the key, and within it are my final physical gifts."

I woke up the next morning with my legs sore and a mild headache. I stretched out my legs and noticed that I wasn't on the ground but was instead, on my bed. I hope Twilight isn't mad about yesterday

I walked downstairs and saw the girls...except Pinkey looking at me with dare I saw pure rage in their eyes.... I gotta stop tempting fate...even in my thoughts.

"Well?" I heard Rarity say. "Want to tell us something darling?"

"Look girls, I was going to say something, please believe me. But then I figured that if Celesta hasn't said anything about it then I shouldn't go telling everypony." I explained. I say Twilight's mouth opened and said, "And look you all know as well I do that I consider six friends. But at the same time, friendship at least doesn't outweigh royalty, weather I like it or not." I said as I started to cry "B-B-But when I told Luna...she beat me up....till I was bleeding....It took Celestia to stop her..........and I don't want to lose you....six like that.......you six are the...... best friends I could ask for! I don't want to lose you because I'm a monster like Nightmare!" I said with waterfalls coming from my eyes.

"And you wont." I heard Twilight say.turned to he, still crying. "You heard me, we are still your friends, your heritage doesn't change who you are, right girls"

"Right" The other five said.

I just have a few things to say.
1 While I described the sword and armor using a decent amount of words, I ALSO tried to avoid any other long descriptions to speed up the action.
2 The Gala's going to start next chapter.
3 Is Ursas the correct plural for Ursa?
4 Just for future reference: when he makes his nails grow and uses them I am referring
5 "Okkie Dokkie Lokie" Is that how you spell it?
6 Just so you know this means emphasis THIS means just saying it loud
7 I MIGHT try perspective/pov changes soon to try to get a feel for them because I want to try something much later in the story, but if I'm shitty at perspective/pov change then I won't do it
