Story Arc 1: The Start of an Adventure PT 1 Beginnings (Edited)
I have been told that the day of my birth was a joyous day across Equestria. Everypony felt as though I was the beginnings of a new race that would be able to live alongside the rest that are already on this planet. It was shortly after the celebrations had ended when They came. It started with robots of war, we had seen robots but we had never made any for war, these Sentinels were only interested in my parents.
They gave me to the Elements of Harmony to keep me safe while they fought the machines that just kept coming wanting only one thing. To take my parents away from Equestria and from me. I was raised by the Elements for most of my life and I will admit that I love them all equally. They all had their ups and downs. Auntie Pinkie made sure my birthdays were great but she sometimes she would get a little over ambitious with any other accomplishments I made.
But I am not here to talk to you to talk about that part of my life, it was my childhood and it was good. I grew up with the bucking Elements of Harmony so there were a few troubles but they were small. I’m actually here to talk to you about the ones that murdered my parents in cold blood. They go by the name of Dimtec and have no respect for people trying to live a normal life after having everything taken away from them.
The Dimtec machines never stopped coming after my parents, everyday of every week they would come. They were fighting in an unknown war and soon lead the Machines away from the ponies. The legends say that they fought valiantly for months out in the Badlands until everything went silent. The sounds of fighting stopped when I was three years old. The Elements and me stayed inside that day and mourned, I was still too young to understand why the distant thunder that I could always remember had stopped until they started telling me legends of them.
The Hunter and the Dragon. They came from a place called Earth, there, my home and the ones they looked like were fictional. They had meet at something called a convention in front of a man called the Merchant and his booth. My father, who went by the name of Spyro, had bought emerald green colored contacts and my mother, who went by Samus Aran, bought a helmet for her outfit. As soon as they put these items on they were then picked up by magic and they landed in Equestria shortly after Nightmare Moon’s Banishment.
Princess Celestia was at first wary of my parents and after three years she froze them both in stone for reasons that she never told anypony. Nightmare Moon returned just under 1,000 years later. When that happened the Elements of Harmony then blasted and purifyed Nightmare Moon and freeing my parents, they then went into hiding in the Everfree Forest until Celestia died at the hooves of Queen Chrysalis. At which point the Elements and Princess Luna were able to talk my parents into coming and being a part of Equestrian Society and help in the fight against the Changelings.
The fight with the Changelings didn’t last much longer and Aunt Twilight became a Princess of Equestria. I was born about a month later and never met my parents.
“SCYLLA!! You aren’t up in your room pondering about your parents again are you?” came the voice of Aunt Twilight breaking me from my thoughts. With a sigh I then stand up and walk out of my room in the Castle of Friendship.
“I’m coming downstairs now Aunt Twilight.” I called out before heading down the stairs toward the throne room where I knew she would be. When I enter I see her and the rest of the Elements and my Aunts. I smiled and gave them all a wave and stood at the side of the Crystal Map. “So why are we all gathered today?”
“Well we just wanted to congratulate you on finally making it through the Royal Guard training. I know that Princess Luna has made it more difficult for even ponies to go through it.” Aunt Twilight spoke to me.
“Yeah, and with you being a strange creature and never knowing you're just as strange parents!” Aunt Pinkie said happily as I then gave her a deadpan glare.
“Thank you for reminding me about that Aunt Pinkie.”
“Oops Sorry.” She said giggling embarrassed as she sat back down.
“Well in other news Darling I would just love to make you a few new outfits to have for various occasions.” Aunt Rarity said with the smile she wore whenever rare fashion opportunities arise. I smiled and nodded glad to have had such a varied life.
Aunt Twilight then smiled at me and said “That was really it Scylla, why don’t you go and enjoy yourself around Ponyville while we set up the Congrats party.”
“Sure thing guys I’ll see you all later tonight.” I told them with a smile and a wave as I then left and started to walk toward the park of Ponyville. As I walked I said hello to everypony that I had known for the past eighteen years of my life. Once I reached the park I then drew one of my great swords, that I have grown used to carrying with me all the time now as a part of the Royal Guard of Princess Luna’s Republic, I then started to practice my sword play, swinging it around in the practiced motions that I had learned in training.
As I continued my solo dance of ringing metal I noticed ponies gathering around to watch in awe.
Or rather, I believe I would have, if it had not been for the giant silver-gold gear that spun into place in the air. It slowed to a stop, and the center spun rapidly, an odd portal like appearance in the center as a woman stepped out.
I then stopped and stood ready for a fight as the few ponies of Ponyville started to run. I watched the woman with a curious eye as I tightened my hold upon my blade. “Who are you?” I asked in a voice that hid my nervousness.
“Calm down, calm down,” she lifted her wrist, staring at a watch, and muttered, “A few hours. I wish I had longer, considering how bad shit is going to hit the fan.” She hung her hand at her side, “Anyways, I’d like to introduce myself. Uchu Ijo, Multiverse Traveller.”
“You’re not a part of Dimtec are you?” I asked waiting for a trick “I’ve already destroyed all of the ones in the Everfree Forest.”
“One, look at my outfit. Two, did you see how I came in? Three, I’ve been travelling long enough to hear whispers of those ‘people’,” she air quoted people, and gestured to herself, her outfit being a very odd Victorian-esque style, just more simplistic, “I’m an inventor.”
I then relaxed and held my sword in one hand, “Alright then, Uchu. I’m Scylla.”
She offered a hand, a smile crossing her face, “Nice to meet you, though I wish the circumstances were better.”
“What’s going on, and I’m guessing we’re the same race?” I ask her as I shake her hand and give her a small smile myself. Her hand was unusually cold, the one wearing the watch being the one she offered.
“I’ll inform you here in a moment. If you mean human, yes,” she smiled, pulling her hand back. The odd temperature prompted me to ask about it.
“Why is your hand so cold?” I asked as I sheathed my greatsword at my side.
“Its metal,” she pulled the glove back, revealing small gears moving inside it, before pulling it back over her wrist.
“Interesting. You’ve literally have created a fully functional synthetic hand using primitive robotics.” I said with a hint of surprise.
She frowned, looking insulted and pleased at the same time, “Thank you, but this is Victorian age technology, on my world this is the most highly advanced technology on the planet.”
I frowned and said, “I’m sorry I thought you had come from the same place my parents did.” I took a look around at the empty park “Do you want to talk at my home instead of out here?”
“Definitely, this is a sensitive topic for anyone inexperienced in anything similar,” she answered.
“Okay then just follow me.” I told Uchu as I turned and started walking back toward Aunt Twilight’s Castle. On the way we passed by the statue that was made for my parents in honor of their deaths.
“Your parents, I’d guess?” Uchu said, looking up at it. She leaned in closer, “Hmm… I have a question.”
“Yeah those are my parents the only way I’ve ever seen them.” I told her as I continued walking “What is your question?”
“How long ago were your parents ‘Displaced’?” Uchu asked, not shifting her gaze.
“According to Aunt Twilight, they were Displaced here and then Dimensional Technologies started sending machines to kick them out of Equestria.” I growled out slightly.
“I was asking how long ago,” Uchu said, repeating the question, “in years.”
“The history books say right after Nightmare Moon first came to be so about… 1,015 years to date.” I tell Uchu then turning to look at her “Why do you ask? You haven’t met my parents Samus and Spyro have you?”
“Actually,” she smiled, “I have. While I may look like I’m in my thirties, I’m older than that. Travelling the Multiverse can do that after awhile.”
“Could… could you tell me what they were like? I’ve never gotten a straight answer before.” I ask her having trouble keeping my composure.
“They’re were pretty okay,” she said, “if not impulsive.”
I smiled and gave Uchu a quick hug “Thank you for telling me Uchu.” I whispered to her before letting go and then continuing on my way toward Aunt Twilight’s Castle. “Come on you still need to tell me about the danger you were talking about earlier.”
“Of course, also… Are you taking me to that lavender unicorn’s home?” Uchu asked.
“I live with my Aunt Twilight. I haven’t earned enough bits to get my own place yet.” I told Uchu smiling.
“I wonder if ‘Purple-Smart’ will remember me,” Uchu laughed, “According to this world, which I’ve been in three times, apparently I’m two-thousand years old,” she laughed.
“Who the buck is ‘Purple-Smart’?” I asked as we reached the front doors.
“The lavender unicorn,” she said, waving a hand, “Twilight.”
“How do you know my Aunt?” I asked raising an eyebrow curiously.
“We’ve met before, when I met your parents.,” she answered.
The doors opened to reveal the lavender pony in question, now what appeared to be an alicorn, “Scylla, what took you so-” she stopped and gaped at Uchu who smiled.
“Been awhile, hasn’t it Purple-Smart?” Uchu laughed, “I see you’re a princess now, well done.”
“HOW ARE YOU HERE!” she yelled, nearing full volume Royal Canterlot voice.
“I’m actually here to warn you,” Uchu answered.
“You should be dead! Even for a Displaced this is a really long time to be alive!” Twilight half-yelled.
“Well, I’m not a Displaced, if you remember. And, in my travels, I’ve met some really old people,” Uchu answered, “Two Thousand years here is a not the same in other universes.”
“I suppose that’s true, but at this point you’re basically the same age as the Princesses!”
“Aunt Twilight!” I said raising my voice, to draconic levels of speech, “Maybe we should listen to what she has to say first and then we can theorize how your old friend is here.”
“Indeed, and I suggest we go somewhere no one can listen in,” Uchu said, nodding at me.
“The basement is pretty sound proof.” I say and start to head toward it, “Aunt Twilight could you tell the others that I’ll be back up in a bit?”

Story Arc 1: The Start of an Adventure PT 2 Saying Goodbye
The basement was where Aunt Twilight kept all of her scientific research equipment. I went over to the main table near the middle of the basement lab and sat down looking at Uchu silently waiting for an answer.
“You already know about Dimtec, I believe,” she said, turning and pulling over a chalkboard.
“Yeah I destroyed them over in the Everfree.” I told her “The ruins of their base is still there.”
“They spread much, much farther,” she slid her glove back and pried something up out of the metal arm, a small projector which broadcasted an image onto the chalkboard.
The image showed a map with circles and small dots of varying size, color, and shape. She tapped on one which quickly zoomed in, revealing an image of a portal, or something similar, “This is one of their various portals, this one is supposed to close soon, leading to their HQ. Typical humans, specifically myself, cannot enter it. Given some time, I could find a way, but it’s not time we have,” she switched to another image, a blueprint of a large building. After tapping on the image of a computer, she started again, “This is their supercomputer, or whatever they call it. Incredibly hard to access,” she smirked, “for most. I hacked it awhile back and gathered the information I have now, after wiping myself from its drives.”
I growled when I heard that Dimtec still existed “Why are you telling me about there being more Dimtec’s?”
“Because,” she said, her face going serious, “while I was hacking I found a plan. They want to remove people such as yourself, ‘Displaced’, from their new homes, and send them back to their own universe. I know some want to stay, and I know a few ways of getting their tokens.”
“But I’m not Displaced. I was born here.” I told Uchu, “And how did you get past the Virus they keep on their computer to protect it.”
“I’ve been travelling the Multiverse for ages, kid,” she said, “A little virus like that, especially one from a lesser advanced society than what I’ve encountered before, is easy.”
“Okay, So do you want me to just go and destroy the other Dimtecs or what?” I asked her as a few thuds come from upstairs, that I passed off as the party starting.
“You can’t,” she said, "At least, not the ones in their personal world. You try doing that alone, you’d be dead.”
“I already did.” I deadpan back, the sounds from upstairs got a little louder af if the party was coming down the stairs.
“How far did you actually get? They have a lot of grunts,” Uchu asked.
“I made it to the CEO and cut off his head in his office. From there everything turned to ruins and I felt a strange surge of energy.” I explained.
“I might have this on record,” she muttered, pulling out a third slide, “here it is.” She tapped it a few times, and the clip of me killing the CEO showed up. “If I’m right…” I couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary, but apparently she did. “Here it is,” she said, “ripping the encoding… downloading in my own personal expansion of program…” the clip slowly began to morph, everything but myself, actually.
“What’s happening?” I asked her curiously.
“They encoded the video, likely trying to hide something,” she said, “if I’m right, what you say wasn’t exactly what you thought it was.”
“What do you mean Uchu?” I asked her turning my head to the locked door hearing a sound I hadn’t heard in five years. “Did one of them follow you?” Just then the door blew open and in walked a Dimtec Battle Drone. It stood three inches taller than me, it’s hull looked golden but I knew better that it was an alloy of gold and vibranium. “SHIT!! A Drone!” I shouted as I stood drawing my greatsword.
The Drone’s eyes flashed as it scanned the room, “One Misplaced located… Identified… Uchu Ijo you do not belong in this Dimension. Please return to your natural dimension or be apprehended,” it said, with its unnerving robotic voice.
“When will you idiots realize I’ve been travelling longer than your company has existed! I have first rights!” Uchu complained, “I made a multiverse travelling machine out of Victorian Age technology!” Uchu seemed to be starting a rant, but stopped, “Also, its ‘Displaced’, get it right, and I am not one of them. I choicefully left my own dimension because of what the queen wanted to do,” she said, “But, you wouldn’t know this considering I wiped all my information off your servers and main hub, even checked the backups.”
“Misplaced is the term for travelers where they don’t belong.” states the Drone “We have been instigating Martial Law over Equestria’s while we return the Displaced.”
I then got tired of listening to the Drone and ran forward as it was distracted with Uchu and drove my sword through it. “That’s right I can cut your stupid hull Tin Head.” I said then twisting the blade feeling its robotics repairing itself around it.
“Scylla Draakrend” Spoke the Drone as it forced me back with a pulse “Dimensional Technologies is not at war with you.”
“...I wish Alphonse were here,” Uchu muttered, “You, Metal-brain, listen, Misplaced implies they weren’t put here on purpose. As for me, I’ve met someone who is very displeased with you.”
“I am just a construct following coding” said the Drone, as I then drove my greatsword up its body and out of it’s head. It then fell to the ground and started to twitch.
“I hate Battle Drones.” I growled as I watched it’s body starting its repair sequence.
“Who doesn’t?” Uchu said, squatting near the repairing drone. She reached into the largest piece of its hull, and came back with a mess of wires, which she dropped, “Should keep it from repairing itself.”
I then knelt down and ran my hand over the husk causing a blue light to emit from it and it decay into light particles that flowed into me. “That’s the only way I’ve seen to truly stop them. He would have been back in a day or two other wise.” I then looked at Uchu “How do I get out of this Dimension myself?”
“Pardon?” Uchu asked, looking confused.
“I’m asking if you know of a way for me to go and finish hunting down Dimtec for killing my parents.” I told her as I stood at my full height and headed up the stairs, “We should also check on the others.”
“AH, right,” Uchu said, and I barely caught a mumble about attending college several times and still not understanding what ‘she’ just said, “Well, to be honest, you’re going to need help.”
“I’ll use their own stuff against them.” I said as I continued to climb, “I can just go and get things from the ruins first.” We reached the top of the stairs and I looked around at the party that seemed to have been uninterrupted. I could see Lyra talking to Carrot Top and Bon Bon over in the corner of the large room.
“There’s a reason they use these, you know,” Uchu said, looking at the small mess of wires in her hand, “they know their every weakness. Essentially, you can’t beat them with their own weapons.”
“Maybe not the automated ones but I could get myself better equipment.” I countered with a smirk as I watched Aunt Pinkie having some ponies play Pin the Tail on the Pony.
“I can agree, and could make you the equipment,” Uchu said, before her face furrowed, “as a friend to your parents, I can’t let you do it alone.”
“Don’t you have some sort of schedule to keep?” I asked her as I noticed Princess Luna entering the Hall and mingling with everypony.
“I can work around it,” Uchu said.
I then took a deep breath and released it in a sigh, “I guess I should go and let them know that my fight isn’t over just yet.”
“That you should,” Uchu answered.
I then started walking over to the party and smiled at a few ponies as I head to my Aunts and the Princess.
“Scylla!” Luna called out, “What took you so long, is this not a party for you?” The Lunar Princess looked rather cheered.
“I was making a new friend, Princess.” I said back with a smile and a wave. “How have you been?”
“Quite well,” the princess smiled, “Though I do wonder what new friend would prompt you to be so late for your own celebration.”
“Her name is Uchu Ijo. She says she’s a Multiverse Traveler and has been here before.” I told her as I sat next to her as my Aunts began to talk amongst themselves.
“Interesting,” she said, “I heard your parents mention her once, but I wasn’t sure what they said was true.”
I nodded before continuing “I’m glad hearing that you don’t think my parents were crazy.”
“I never did, I merely thought it was someone playing with them or something,” Luna said, smiling, “the stories they told in the days after were interesting indeed.”
“I wish they were still here.” I said with a sigh and clenching my fist “But Dimtec had to kill them for trying to have a family.”
“Monsters they certainly were,” Luna said with a sigh, “ So, why is Uchu here?”
“Apparently I didn’t destroy all of Dimtec like I thought I did five years ago.” I told Luna, “And they are now waging a war against other Displaced like my parents.”
“Hmm, that is definitely not good news,” she answered, “Are you planning something? Remember,” a look of concern crossed the regal pony’s face, “you have us, if you need our help.”
“I know Princess.” I told her and looking away from her face not having the heart to look her in the eye. “And I was planning on going across the Multiverse and finish destroying Dimtec.”
There was a moment of silence, “Okay, but listen. Take help, I don’t think anypony could take it if you never returned.”
“Uchu says that she will go with me.” I said putting a comforting arm over Princess Luna’s shoulders. “And I’ll be fine I’ve fought them before without training.”
“Good,” Luna said.
“Could you please wait until after I leave to let them know?” I ask pointing over to my Aunts “I just know they will try and stop me like they did the first time I did this.” I then stood and gave the royal alicorn a hug. “I will be sure to visit regularly.” I told her as I walked back toward Uchu ready to go to the ruins with the gear I already had.
“I assume you’re ready?” Uchu said, fiddling with her wrist yet again.
“Yeah I am.” I said as I continued toward the doors leaving the sound of cheerful celebration behind me. I then stepped out into the crisp evening air of the twilight light that Princess Luna had brought to her ponies for the night.
