When King Sombra returned to Equestria, he wasted no time in plotting its downfall. He enslaved all of his subjects and forced them to fight for him against Princess Celestia. Celestia formed a resistance to fight back against Sombra, and everypony else had a part to play. The war effort grew steadily, but Sombra continued to gain ground in the war. Each passing month seems to delay the inevitable downfall of Equestria, and the free ponies grow desperate.
