Chapters “Just come by our compartment if you need anything, alright Coloraura?”
The light blue mare looked up, her fingers laced into one another as she nodded. The gray mare at the doorway, Octavia she believed, smiled, before a white head appeared over her shoulder, and Vinyl giggled. “Of course, make sure to knock. It’s a long trip to Ponyville, and I have a hard time being in confined spaces with this cutie.” Her eyes than lowered, and she licked her lips. “Of course, if Octavia is willing-”
“I’m not, we’re leaving, and enjoy the ride Coloratura.”
She slowly nodded, keeping her smile on until the door clicked shut. Once the two were gone though, the shakes started back up, and she slowly wrapped her arms around herself. Her rather impressive bosom pushed back, but it was kind of nice at the same time. She hummed for a second, and her smile returned, even if it was miniscule compared to the ones she used to wear.
”Even if you find a new label though, I will do everything to make sure you fail. Understand? I will not simply take this… break in contract lightly.”
The joy in her fell as she brought her knees up to her chest. She still had her looks, but Sven had robbed her of everything else. The lawsuits, the defamation of her character, the ‘exposed secrets’ given out by her manager… Only Applejack and her friends supposedly still believed there was some good in her, but for all they knew, she was still to be in Manehatten. She hadn’t lost her house, her friends, or her job.
“At least some musicians will still believe in a star, even if the white one wanted to be my new DJ.” A sigh escaped her lips, and she tucked her head inbetween her legs. Maybe she would feel better after the train ride.
Bonk.
Her eyes shot open, and she stared at the strange man in her room. He had short, green hair, and wore a well tailored, black italian suit. This all may have been fine, but she had never heard the door open. Opening her mouth did nothing except make the man chuckle. He clasped at her throat as he stood. “Hello there, Miss Tura. My name is Ulvick , and I am your ticket to a better life.”
Coloratura stared at him for a few moments, before her eyelids narrowed, and she said, sucessfully to her surprise, “A little enchantment to hide your horn isn’t going to impress me.”
A small chuckle escaped Ulvick as he leaned back, and then snapped. A pulse of black magic radiated from the snap, and she followed his finger as he pointed to the window. Standing up and looking forward, Coloratura thought she might be sick.
The world was frozen in time. “What did you do?”
The pale man stepped beside her and looked outside with her. “I’ll admit, it’s a rather impressive party trick, but after about the first minute the novelty fades. Kind of comes with the territory of nothing happening .”
Coloratura jumped back onto the small bed in the compartment, backing herself into a corner as she stared at her, and her heart hammered in the ears. “Wh-what do you want?”
Ulvick rolled his eyes and leaned back against the wall before crossing his legs. “What I desire, Miss Tura, or Rara, if I-”
“Only one pony is allowed…” She grit her teeth as his smile grew.
“Trust me, deary, I know about Applejack, and how you wish for her to never find out that the freedom she gave you led you to ruin. And, to be honest,” his smile faded with each word, and now was a deep scowl, “I hate it myself. As a demon who rather likes a little bit of fun in the world, to see such a beautiful voice fall from grace disgusts me.”
Coloratura smoothed out the dark blue skirt she was wearing as a blush came to her face. It seemed silly, but after two weeks of being called a fraud, it was actually really ttouching to hear from a fan, even one as… unique as this. “You really liked my music?”
“Of course I did! And that last one that should have been a hit?” He kissed a few of his fingers. “Pure gold. And that, that is why I must help you!” He raised one hand, pointing to the sky as he declared, ‘Until you no longer need my services, I, Ulvick, the destroyer of realities, will help you! And,” he put one finger to his cheek and smiled, “then I won’t have to do my job.”
Coloratura tilted her head, the whole thing starting to make sense, but also making none. “Job?”
He waved a hand in front of himself, before a book appeared in his hands. “This, is the tool I will use to help you with. While blank within, any wish you write in it one day will come true the next. The caveat though, is that you are using the ‘artifact’s power, and it has a but a drop of my true strength in it. The more you use it, the stronger it gets. Sound fair?”
She stared at the book in her hands, slowly blinking as her mind stopped on one thing. “Anything I wish for?”
Ulvick placed a hand on the journal, and nodded. “Just please, try to make it something interesting. I thrive on entertainment, and unfortunately, despite how chaotic things appear to be, they never quite stay long enough to actually be fun or interesting. Just look at Sombra if you want to see what I’m talking about.”
“Sombra?”
“Exactly.”
Coloratura placed a hand on her forehead, as it now felt like it was throbbing. Maybe this was all a dream, or the wild mare that Octavia had brought had slipped her something. A slight buzzing let her leave that track of thought, and she checked her phone. It was from Ulvick, and it said, Good luck, and if you have any questions, write them in the book.
After the conversation they’d just had, she was doubtful how helpful asking her questions now would be though, and so simply turned her phone off. Her eyes then drifted back to the book, and her chest tightened. This was a late train, and they wouldn’t get to Ponyville until tomorrow around noon, so she could make her first wish, so long as she trusted the demon. The question now was, what did she write?
Coloratura held her single suitcase close to her, wearing a heavy, gray sweater over her body as she walked off the train. Octavia, Vinyl and her had shared breakfast earlier that day, but she had asked to go see her landlord by herself. She didn’t admit to them that she was simply uncomfortable drawing attention to herself here, not while she was still trying to figure out just what she might do. “I only hope I do manage to find someone nice soon.”
She slowly walked along the streets, her eyes almost glued to the directions she had. It wasn’t the most direct way to her place, but it kept her on the side streets, and far from the main market area. Octavia had been told it was to avoid the traffic caused by the farmer’s market, but that was simply another keep her distance. “Rara, you really need to find something else to think about.”
She didn’t try very hard though. The last few weeks had been a nightmare as Sven Gallop tried to make it out that her whole career had been false, and that she had simply lip synced her music. While she knew there were fans of her that would have stayed hearing that, when they heard she had also decided to quit, and had supposedly called all fans of it morons and that she did it only for the cash she lost even those. The artists she had known in Manehatten wanted to help her, but it would be a couple months before she could collaborate with them and not risk their careers too. Part of the issue with having the ‘best manager in Manehatten.’
Still, some smaller time folks had stood up for her, and that was why she even knew Octavia, let alone had a house to come to now. She looked up at the nice, two story house, and managed a smile. It was nice enough, and while Octavia said that her landlord would possibly get loud at times, she was nice for the most part. With that hope in mind, she brought a hand up, and knocked.
When the door opened, a pink girl, maybe eighteen years old came out with a finger to her lips. “Shh. Please, I do not want you waking my mom up. She got dumped last night, and if I have to see her actually hungover again so soon, I might finally drink myself.”
Coloratura blinked a few times, before slowly extending her hand like she was supposed to. She honestly didn’t know what else to do, as it had been years since she went and met people by herself. Did he really dominate my life that much? She shrugged it off, deciding to instead focus on what was in front of her. “Umm, hello, my name is Tura, and I’m here to rent the guest bedroom?”
The pink mare blinked a few times, looking up to Coloratura for a few moments, before letting out a sigh, and opening the door. “Alright, come on in, but please, be quiet. My mom… she could use the sleep.”
Walking in, Coloratura was pleasantly relieved to see how clean the whole place is. In fact, it was almost immaculate. The mail was neatly stacked on the table, the blankets were folded and put on the couch in living room, and there was a pleasant honeysuckle scent wafting through the air. “Well, the ad online didn’t lie I see.”
The young mare turned back and smiled weakly. “Thanks. I try my best to keep up with my mother’s nightly mess, but it can be hard to do so sometimes. In fact…” she looked down and sighed, “can you please wait to check the kitchen?”
Coloratura paused, and felt something force her to look at the mare a touch closer as the world turned slightly more green. There was dust and dirt on her plain, black t-shirt, and her jeans had multiple, shoddy repairs in them, as if done by a complete ametuar, or Coloratura even, if she were honest about her skill level. It was the eyes that gave her away though. Someone so young and pretty, with a fairly impressive chest that Rara was trying not to make a note of, should not have bags under her eyes, but hers were deep.
“Just, please don’t worry about the house. I always squeeze it in after work, and so long as you aren’t too messy, I can take care of it. I’m… used to it.”
Coloratura stepped forward and placed a hand onto the other mare’s shoulder. “I don’t believe I caught your name. May I?”
The pink mare blinked a few times, staring into Rara’s eyes, before turning away and tucking a piece of her light purple mane behind her ear. “It’s… it’s Berry Pinch.”
“Well, Berry Pinch,” she said with a bright smile, “I need to get back into the swing of doing things for myself, so I refuse to let you take care of me. Besides, I should have plenty of time to help with chores, and, maybe, if there’s time, we can have some fun after we’re done.”
Berry mouthed the word ‘fun’, as it was a concept that she didn’t know super well anymore, before nodding, and a tear came to the edge of her eyes. “A-alright, th-that sounds amazing actually!”
Coloratura beamed at the smaller mare, before saying, “Onwards!”
======+++++======
A smile lit up Coloratura’s features as she entered the room. Memories of herself at eighteen, telling everyone that when she graduated she would become something whirling around in her head. It helped of course that Berry Pinch, who was still only eighteen herself, had really needed somepony to vent to, and Rara had been happy to listen.
The girl loved her mom, but it sounded rough. When one’s cutie mark is in the making and drinking of wine though, intoxication was a close friend. Unfortunately, add that to insecurities and depression, and Berry Pinch didn’t get to see her mother very often. She only saw what her mom drunk was. Coloratura only hoped that it was the exhaustion of last night talking.
A buzz came from her pocket, and she slipped it out. It was Ulvick, with a message hoping that she was willing to trust him, and that her new friend is a real cutie. A blush came over Rara’s face as she remembered the mare’s large chest, and she grabbed one of her own well endowed mounds. Of course, with so many performers nowadays, they were almost necessary. “That, or it’s Harmony having fun with us creative types.”
She giggled to herself as her phone buzzed again. She nodded to the text, agreeing with it. The book had done well with her wish for a friend, as she doubted the green was just sewer gas or something. No, something had helped her notice, and something had helped Pinch open up, and she was overjoyed by it all. Now the question simply was, what came next?
Author's Note
The comment for this was about getting a small gift. In this case, it was friendship.
“That smells wonderful.”
Berry Pinch’s ears perked up at the sound of Coloratura’s voice, and the compliment only helped to make her smile. She hadn’t believed her luck yesterday when ‘mom’s’ new tenant had been a mare who had actually shown interest in her, and was so pretty. Pinch knew not to get too excited though, or else she would just end up driving the nice pony away.
She turned to Coloratura, opened her mouth, and a strangled squeak managed to eak itself out as she saw her new friend in a completely new light. Yesterday, the blue mare had been in a large, gray hoodie that disguised her features, and had, for the most part, kept her hood up. Now though, she was in what looked like could still be her pajamas, with a slightly too large, exposing one shoulder, black t-shirt, and super small, gray shorts.
The real problem wasn’t what she wore though, but what it showed. As Coloratura straightened herself and walked toward Pinch, the shirt wrapped around her large, heaving bosom, whose bouncing made the shorter, less endowed mare wonder if she was even wearing a bra. Trying to look away from those brought her back to those long, long legs that ended in perfectly manicure hooves, and that was before her eyes went back up. The shorts looked a little tight, hugging her lower curves well, and making Pinch wonder if she could see more if Coloratura ever decided not to wear underwear underneath them.
A soft hand caressed her cheek, before holding her chin and forcing Pinch to look up. Coloratura’s face was immaculate. No embarrassing freckles, or signs that she’s ever had acne. Her full, naturally red lips made Pinch’s mouth water, and she sucked her own lips, afraid that they weren’t good enough. Her heart stopped when her gaze met Coloratura;s eyes. In an instant, Pinch found herself swimming in an ocean of blue. The water met her with kindness, warmth, and care that she hadn’t seen in many ponies before, let alone a mare only a few inches away.
“Berry Pinch, are you okay?”
“Yes!” Pinch slapped a hand over her mouth, not even noticing the pain as her eyes widened in horror. She couldn’t believe her voice had broken like that, and now her friend looked even more worried. With a hard swallow, the pink mare got her emotions back under control, and managed a weak smile. “I-I mean, yeah, I am, but my brain shut off there for a moment. I blame the lingering scent of alcohol.”
Coloratura cringed at the reminder of the fumes she had ended up sleeping in. She was honestly surprised she hadn’t woken up drunk. “Well, so long as you’re okay, than I can start helping you with breakfast! Though,” she stopped for a moment, chuckling nervously, a sound that Pinch would be happy to have as the last thing she ever heard, “I probably shouldn’t cook. I’ve had people doing that for me since I was sixteen.”
Pinch nodded, remembering the tales that Coloratura had told her, but that she could not share. She had to be known as Tura for now, though the younger mare had felt there were more than professional reasons for that. Looking back up, Pinch let out a small yelp as she noticed somepony behind Coloratura.
Rara let her own small scream out as she was spun around, and then froze as she looked at the pink mare. She had known each pony to avoid so as not to make Applejack blame herself for what had happened to her, and this had been number one on that list. A pink pony named Pinkie.
“So, I heard it through a train ticket in the trash and Vinyl talking about threeways with a new singer that a new pony had come to Ponyville. However,” Pinkie’s smile grew wider as she shut her eyes, “I hadn’t expected to see you back! Applejack will be ecstatic!”
Coloratura’s heart hammered in her ears, and she slammed a mouth over Pinkie’s mouth and hissed, “No.”
It was at this point that Berry Pinch fell out of the conversation, and the world around her became tinted with greens and browns. She didn’t notice though, as a her eyes turned to a dark green, and a wide smile appeared over her shoulder. A snap echoed in her ear, and she watched as Pinkie and Coloratura’s clothes melted away Their large bosoms pressed against one another, with Coloratura’s being at least a size larger than Pinkie’s. That didn’t matter a lot to Pinch though, who was average at best, and couldn’t take her eyes away from her new friend’s now bare form.
A hand slowly drifted along her side, comin over her stomach as a stallion’s voice whispered, “You want her, don’t you? Such a reclusive little mare that you have few, good friends, and here is one who sleeps naked just down the hall from you, trusts you, and likes you.” The hand crept into Pinch’s loose slacks, and she took in a shuddering gasp.
Berry Pinch’s body was shaking at this point as she leaned into the oddly hairless body of the stallion behind her. She had never been touched like this before, and knew she should probably panic, but… didn’t. Instead, the fingers that traced themselves around her heated nethers were almost euphoric to her, and made her crave more. “Sh-she sleeps naked?”
A loud, sultry moan escaped Pinch as the stallion pushed one finger into her coin purse, and she shut her eyes. This way, it wasn’t his, or her own fingers, but Coloratura’s fingers that ever so tenderly played with her most secret of places. This included her breast, which fit well in the hand that now cupped it and slowly kneaded into the soft flesh. “Only in places she feels safe in, and you made her feel safe after your talk yesterday.”
The spike of pleasure that ran through her was not because of the second finger that pushed into her inexperienced folds, or even the thumb that brushed the side of her clit, but from knowing she had succeeded. That Coloratura was her friend, and she was hers. “R-really?”
The smile over her shoulder grew ever wider as he whispered, “Yes, and I will let you know that you do stand a good chance of one day bedding this mare. I… promise.”
Her scream was cut off as the smile, the tinting, and the new color in her eyes, all went away, and she was shunted back into her reality. Pinch blinked for a moment as everything spun, and she placed a hand on the counter to steady herself, uncertain as to what in Equestria that may have been. She was not going to tell herself it was a dream though, not with such a nice promise at the end.
“Are you sure you want me to set it up for Saturday?”
Pinch looked up at Pinkie’s words, and watched Coloratura grab Pinkie’s hands and smile. “As the countess, I had to do a lot to make myself… marketable. I understand that I need somewhere to start, and if this is a good way to get a crowd, I’ll take.” She blinked, and Pinch watched as a tear of hers fell to the ground, and Coloratura put a hand on the side of Pinkie’s face. “And thank you for promising-”
“Pinkie promising.”
A pang of jealousy ran through Pinch as what was supposed to be her Rara giggled at Pinkie’s joke. It was Pinkie though, and Pinkie made everypony laugh… right?
“Yes, Pinkie promising me to keep my arrival a secret. It means a lot to me.”
"Hey, what are friends for, right?"
The two than wrapped each other in their arms, and Pinch turned back to the oven, whispering to herself, “Maybe it was just a dream afterall,” as a set of tears silently made their way down her face.
Author's Note
For fans of A Gamer's Journal, do not expect to for Ulvick to only have Coloratura's best interests at heart. He is here to be entertained, one way, or another.
Also, this chapter took place on Wednesday, so Pinkie's event should be in about three chapters. As well, the wish was for a new friend, possibly with a similar size chest.
