Two armored Equus soldiers or more better known as ’ponies’ are standing on the roof of red base holding pistols as they look around the canyon in silence. The grey and black armored earth pony with purple colored visor then broke the silence and began to speak to the white and blue armored unicorn with a red visor.

“Hey vinyl? Vinyl?”

She then looked at vinyl to see she was just slowly bobbing her head up and down not listening. Then the grey one hit her in back of the head. Hard.

“Hey what was that for Tavi!”

“I was trying to ask you a question but you were listening to music inside your helmet again. how do fit those headphones in you helmet? And my name is Octavia and you know it.”

“Practice. And it's just a nickname. Isn't that a normal thing to call their teammates by a name like that or something?”

“That's just in the movies.”

“So what? What was your question anyway?”

“Uh I can't remember now. I think it had something to with us here at the base.”

“Like the why we even sanding here in this spot?”

“No. Oh now I remember. Why are we in a canyon fighting a bunch of blue guys. When I joined it was to protect my home and now I get shipped here of all places?”

“I know what you mean. I just signed up to kick alien ass. But then that master chief guy goes and blows up the whole covenant armada and now I'm here. This sucks.”

“Yea and I don’t really get the point of this either. I mean the only reason why we have red here base is because they have a blue base over there. And the only reason why they have blue base over there is because we have a red base here. If one day we just decide to go over and take it we would have 2 bases in the middle of a boxed canyon. Whoopty fuckin doo.”

“Who is running this army anyway?”

While they are talking at the red base there are 2 pony soldiers standing on a cliff looking at them. The light purple and dark purple armored unicorn with a purple visor has a sniper and is looking at Vinyl and Octavia talk. The light blue and rainbow armored Pegasus with hot pink visor holding a pistol then spoke up to break the silence.

“Hey twilight what are they doing anything different now?”

Twilight then gave an annoyed size as she but the sniper up and placed to her back. “No rainbow. They are still just talking and still just standing there.”

Rainbow then groaned. “Uhhh. This is so boring. Why can't you just shoot all of them with the sniper and get this over with.”

“Rainbow you know we can't do that. We have our orders unless command tells up too. And it says that in the blue army hand book unit 2 chapter 1 section 3 paragraph 4 line 6 that-”

“Oh my god you are such a nerd. Did you seriously memorize the blue army hand book?"

"And in 3 languages."

Rainbow then face palmed

“Hey don't do that. I'm just trying to do my best to lead this team.”

“But you're not our leader. Captain Minuette is dead. Just cause you volunteer yourself to be the leader doesn’t automatically make a real leader.”

“At least I'm doing better than you bitch.”

“Hey I’m not the bitch your the bitch.”

“Just like what a bitch would say bitch.”

“You son of a-”

Then they both got a call from their command at the same time. “Hello hello this is Vic! Twilight! Rainbow! you there?”

They both groaned and they the both answered.

“Yes this is Twilight speaking.”

“And rainbow.”

“Ahh glad to hear my two favorite ladies. Anyway I’m calling because your new recruit will be coming there in about an hour so be sure to make her welcome. And don't worry that tank will also be there when the new recruits arrives.”

Twilight then spoke. “Roger that Vic were just about to head to the base now.”

Vic then spoke. “Alright Alright glad to hear that can’t wait to hear back from you two. Oh hey don’t forget to send over those pictures later. You know for….. Military purposes.”

Rainbow the spoke. “Yea Yea Vic we will get that done later you don’t have to keep reminding us.”

“Ok Ok just making sure you don’t forget. Ok gotta go. Try to win. bye.”

They both hung up. Then rainbow spoke in annoyed tone. “Man he is annoying. Oh hey do you have any idea why they keep telling us to send them pictures of us without our armor on?”

“I have no idea. Humans are weird.”

“I can agree with you on that one.”

“Come on. Let's go back to base.”

“You want to race?”

Twilight then gave a deadpanned expression even if rainbow couldn't see it.“You know I don't have wings.”

“Yea I know.”

“Just go on ahead I need to make sure nothing new comes up.”

“Your loss egg head.”

“I would have lost anyway.”

“Yea because I'm awesome.”

She then mumbled to herself to quite for rainbow. “You bet your ass you are.”

“Did you say something?”

Twilight then blushed. She has never been more glad she can't see her face right now. “Huh I didn't say anything.”

“Hmm must have been just me. Well I'll see you back at the base Twilight. Later.”

Rainbow then extended her wings and flew back to base while twilight just stood their for a minute looking at rainbow as she leaves. She watch rainbow fly to the base checking her out without her noticing with stupid smile on her face. She snapped out of it and shook her head. She then went back to spying on the Reds. Meanwhile back at red base a orange and yellow armored earth pony with a green visor while holding a shotgun standing outside at the front of the base then yelled at vinyl and octavia’s direction.

“Private Vinyl and Private Octavia stop standing around and get your asses down here! There is something I need to show you two!”

Octavia then yelled back “Coming Sargent Applejack!”

They both then walked out of the base.

Before you ask yes all of them are wearing the standard master chief helmet for the Reds and blues. And before you complain about twilight and rainbow's talk remember that this is not exactly same remember swearing is a necessity for RVB.
