I originally wanted pinkie to play caboose and Derpy to play donut but after some more careful looking I realized the parring was better.

Season 1 Episode 2: Vehicles and Rookies

Octavia and vinyl then walked right up to applejack. Vinyl then spoke.

“You wanted to speak with us ma’am?"

“No need for formalities just call me applejack.”

“Ok applejack what did you need?”

“I'm glad you asked. I just got a call from red command and we are getting a new shipment with a new recruit and a new vehicle.”

Vinyl then sighed. “Oh great we're getting a rookie.”

Applejack then hit her in the face with bud of her shotgun.

“OWW!!! What Was That For!”

Octavia then giggled a little. Applejack then replied. “For being insensitive.”

“Wasn't that a little much?”

“Nope.”

Vinyl then groaned. “Did you just bring us down here to just to beat me?”

“Not today private. Actually I brought you down here because we got the first part of the shipment early. Rarity Bring In The New Vehicle!”

After she said that a white and purple armored unicorn with blue visor not carrying a weapon pull with their new vehicle.

Octavia and vinyl looked at the vehicle in excitement. Vinyl then spoke just seconds before Octavia.

“Shotgun!”

“Shotgun! Fuck.”

Rarity got out and allowed applejack to speak.

“Ladies this is the M12 Light Reconnaissance Vehicle. I like to call it the warthog.”

Octavia then spoke. “Why warthog ma’am?”

applejack then replied. “Because M12 LRV will get too annoying in conversation. That and it reminded of some the of the pigs we had on the farm back home.”

Vinyl then spoke. “That's a dumb name. How about a cooler like uh… A manticore or a chupacabra or something actually threatening.”

Applejack then cocked her shotgun and pointed it at vinyl. “Just for that give 5 laps around the base.”

“Aww crap.”

Octavia giggled. Vinyl then spoke. “Oh screw you tavi.”

Vinyl then started running. Octavia then started getting a few dirty thoughts after vinyl said that. She then snapped out of it watched and decided to watch vinyl run. Meanwhile while twilight was still at the ledge watching what was going on. After when vinyl started running twilight then headed back to blue base.

An hour later applejack left so she could discuss some business with red command. While she is gone the blue team tank and the new recruits arrive at their team's bases. At red base their new recruit a earth pony wearing all red armor and light blue visor just made it into the base and walked onto the roof where vinyl and Octavia were talking.

Vinyl then said. “Come on Tavi? Just listen to 1 song? Please? Come on don’t be a bitch.”

“No vinyl. I don't want to hear the dubshit.”

“It's call dubstep. Come on it can't be that bad. I know you like music. Just give it a chance.”

The recruit then interrupted. “Um excuse me. I don't mean to interrupt your old married couple argument but can you please tell me if this is red base. I'm supposed to talk with Sergeant applejack.”

They both turned around and vinyl then spoke up and sounded pissed. “Old Married Couple?! We're Not Even dating?!”

The rookie then rolled her eyes and said. “Okie Dokie Loki whatever you say.”

Octavia then mumbled to herself. “I wish we were.”

Vinyl the looked at Octavia. “Did say something?”

Octavia then blushed. “What? No! I didn't say anything!”

Both vinyl and the rookie started her in awkward silence for a few seconds.

She then recomposed herself. “Anyway yes rookie this is the red base. Unfortunately applejack is away for a while so I'm in charge while she is gone. I'm Octavia and she is Vinyl.”

Vinyl then spoke. “Wait when did applejack say you were in charge?”

“You were too busy listening to your music to hear her. Again.”

“Oh that makes sense. Hey rookie what's your name anyway?”

The rookie then spoke in happy tone and gave a funny salute. “Private Pinkamena Diane Pie. But everyone just calls me pinkie pie.”

Octavia and Vinyl then look at each other then back at pinkie. Vinyl then spoke. “Uh ok. Hey why haven’t you changed your armor?”

Pinkie then looked at vinyl and spoke in confused tone. “This is the standard issue red. Is that a problem?”

Vinyl then replied. “Not really but around here only sargent’s have the standard colors. You need to your own armor so people and ponies don’t confuse you.”

“Oh, nobody told me that. That makes sense do you know where I can change my armor?”

Vinyl then gets a mischievous smile and decided to have a little payback for the old married couple comment. “Uh yea you just need to go to the store. Just go and walk around the canyon until you find it.”

Octavia then decides to play along in the fun to cheer up vinyl. “Yea oh and when you get their be sure to ask for headlight fluid too.

Pinkie then gave another salute. “Okie Dokie Loki. You can count on me.”

She then started walking in the wrong direction. Vinyl then spoke up. “Other way.”

Pinkie the turned around. “I knew that.”

When pinkie got was far enough out of earshot vinyl then burst out laughing and Octavia joined in on the laughing a bit even if she didn’t approve of it much. Meanwhile at blue base the tank just arrived along with their new recruit. There new recruit was grey and blond yellow pegasus with yellow visor with crack going down the middle of the visor while holding assault rifle. Twilight walked up to the new recruit while rainbow was staring at the tank in excitement. The new recruit then spoke up giving a salute to Twilight.

“Hello miss. I am private Ditzy Whooves. But Everyone just calls me Derpy.”

“Nice to meet you I’m Twilight Sparkle the current leader of blue team. And that over there eye goggling the tank is Rainbow Dash.”

Rainbow then said to herself. “I can’t wait to see the look on the red’s face when they see this little number. Just like every night. Bowchickabowwow.”

Both Derpy and Twilight look at rainbow. Derpy then spoke up. “What was that?”

Rainbow just shrugged and said. “It's a new thing I’m Trying. You like it?”

Twilight then spoke. “I don’t think it will last.”

Rainbow. “I doubt it. Hey rookie how did get that nickname?”

Derpy then looked nervous. “Uh you don’t want to know.”

Twilight and rainbow then look at each other then back at the recruit and then twilight. “Ok. So as your first duty for now is to go in the base and if someone shows do what the ask.”

Derpy then spoke in chipper tone. “You got it Twilight.”

Derpy then went inside and literally 1 second after she went in twilight and rainbow heard something break. Derpy spoke. “Sorry. I'll fix that later.”

Twilight then facepalmed and sighed. Meanwhile pinkie was walking around and then saw blue base from a safe distance without knowing.

“Oh that must be the store. Oh cool they sell tanks too. Octavia and Vinyl will be so happy.”

She then starts heading to blue base.
