A Moon Full Experience
Chapter 1.5: Dream Space I
Previous ChapterNext ChapterDeep inside your mind, you have entered the realm of sleep. No dream has started but nor does any nightmare seem to slither in either, just an empty void.
The area was blackened and fogging at the height of your ankles.
This is totally new experience for you. It was almost silent, the only noise lurking was a long whispering exhaling sound. A sound that could only come out of death itself.
You remain standing cautiously and turning your head side to side, waiting, searching for anything that could pop out of nowhere. Waiting for the unknown, few of the worst things a person can do in a situation like this. Slow but echoed steps could be heard but not from your feet.
As the steps grew louder, your blood ran cold and your adrenaline was getting worse.
From the corner of your eye, you caught a glimpse of what was in the area with you.
It was a four legged creature like before, an Alicorn. It had clear glowing white eyes, the head was shadowed by its cloak. Only the beings horn and muzzle could be seen. But the Alicorn was at a far distance, so it was difficult for you to get a clear look. But it didn't take time for it to click that it'll no doubt be the ONLY one you've interacted very briefly.
"Hello?" you shout to it.
The creature took a few steps back and decided to vanish with a flicker of her horn.
"Wait!" you reach out your right arm.
But before turning away a cloud of dark smoke flew to your vision. It stayed hovering for a moment to get your full attention. It soon hovered above you and opened itself up to show you something. The cloud almost turned into a poofy projector, showing the same small cliff you first encountered the Alicorn.
You shook your head in confusion as to what it meant. "What're you trying to tell me?" you stare into the projection to see any hidden clues, but soon something appears. It was you but not from before, some point in the future. You could see yourself sitting down and staring into the stars above at a full moon. As if waiting for something.
"Why would I...I mean...that's..." you were befuddled as to why you were seeing this of all things. Most of your dreams are more or less fantasy driven: fighting monsters or being with an attractive woman of your dreams, if not that then a session of a nightmare hell.
Deep down you were questioning if this creature was ever going to come back, you were even strangely interested to learn more about it's kind. But there was that possible chance that you might be chasing a pipe dream or the next time you see her it might even kill you next time.
Before you could even ask more everything grows darker then it already was. The cloud reformed and became brighter and hung above your head as the area around you was pitch black. You didn't want to move without knowing what would happen. There was no chance for you running in blind without knowing what could be inside. Soon a pale hand in black wears reaches out to grab you.
Luckily you woke up in your clothes with the feeling of cold sweat running down your neck. You took deep breaths to calm yourself. Afterwards you stepped near your window to look upon the night sky to see anything. Sadly nothing out of the ordinary stuck out. Just simply night and decorated with a few stars.
You soon sit at your bed side and think to yourself.
'What did that mean?'
