Daughter of Moonlight

(PoV is in the Third person for the first part)

Night has fallen over the town of Evos, everyone has retired into their houses for the night and all the lights in the building were out, all but one. Near the center of the town was a tree that houses the main library of the place, the lights are on and in the main room where five girls and two boys. The rainbowed haired one was pacing back and forth with her arms crossed and a worried frowned on her.

“Darling, can you please stop your pacing it’s not helping,” Rarity said to her. The rainbowed haired girl stopped and looked at her.

“I got to stop pacing, well I would stop if I’m allowed to go out and search for Twilight but guess what I can’t so too bad!” Rainbow said as she continued pacing. Rarity sighed and shook her head.

“Ah know ya are worried ‘bout her but we can’t just charge off in the middle of the woods looking without a plan,” Applejack said to her. RD was about to say something but was cut off by someone else.

“She’s right Rainbow, I want to go out there and look for my sister as much as you do but going in there with no plan is a suicide run,” Shining Armor said.

“Hey, I do too! Why can we just go out anyway?” Spike asked. Applejack looked at him.

“Because there’s a whole lot of monsters that’s roaming around in the forest and they aren’t friendly.” She explained.

“Oh… right.” Spike looked around and saw his friend Pinkie sitting in a chair silent, her hair wasn’t as poofy than normal.

“Come on she could be out there right now starving or freezing or something and all we are doing is sitting here waiting!” Rainbow yelled. She was shaking with anger as she was sitting here doing nothing. She felt a hand on her shoulder.

“Rainbow you need to calm down, raising your voice won’t help at all,” Fluttershy said to her friend. “Also we shouldn’t yell at all, we don’t want to wake Twilight’s daughter up.” Dash stared at her friend and took some deep breathes.

“Look Rainbow I know what you're going through and I want the same thing it’s just it’s too dangerous right now, tomorrow morning me and some of the best guards with head into the forest and looked for her, we will find her,” Shining said to her. Dash looked at him for a minute and headed to the door.

“Now where ya think you're going?” Applejack said.

“I’m going to fly around for a bit, I need some air,” Dash said as she pushed the door open and walked out. Making her wings appear she took flight and headed into the sky.

Blake

There are times that being a light sleeper can be a good thing, saved my life a couple times. Case in point I woke up to the sound of something moving a couple rooms down, whatever it is it was big.

I looked over to Twilight and saw that she was curled up and sleeping soundly. I slowly got up and grabbed my sling, if it tried to attack me it’s going to get a rock to the face. I slowly went out of the room and headed towards whatever is making that noise. It took me a bit but I got to the main throne room and place my back to the wall of the door, I peered around the doorway to see that’s making the noise. What I saw made me freeze in place.

It’s a giant bug… a giant mother fucking bug and I’m not dealing with it.

‘Nope, nope nope nope nope and so much nope,’ I thought as I turned and went back to the room where Twilight is and I’m going to wake her up and we are getting the hell out of here. Sure it’s dangerous but it’s mostly the fact that… I can’t deal with bugs.

Okay let me clarify a bit, I can deal with small bugs. Small bugs are simple to deal with, either with some spray or a shoe would work. No I just can’t deal with big bugs like the size of your hand big bug. I just can’t deal with it and so now there’s a bug the size of a truck is in this castle and you can bet your sweet ass that I’m not going be staying in here. I quickly and quietly returned to the room and started to pack up everything into my bags, I also grabbed that book with five gods in it.

“Mhmm Blake? What’s going on?” I heard Twilight ask. I turned to see her getting up, well this makes things easier.

“Good you're up, grab everything that you need because we are getting the hell out of here,” I told her as I put the last thing in my bag and put it on.

“What are you talking about, didn’t you say that heading out in the forest is a bad idea?” She questioned.

“Well there’s something here that I don’t want to deal with and I’ll take my chances out in the woods now come on,” I said. Twilight didn’t say anything but she got up and we both headed down the hall. We stopped near the main doors that we came into, I looked through the doorway aaannnnddd that big ass bug is right there… great.

“Oh, Celestia that’s an Obsidio Bug!” Twilight said. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “It’s a Siege bug,”

“Right so right now we need to get passed it, got any plans?” I asked her.

“Hard to say, Obsidios are known to be able to take down a fortified stronghold by themselves but their straightforward so... make a loud sound somewhere else and it will go look for it? I don’t know.” She answered. I looked back at in the room and saw a vase on the other side of the room. I pulled an arrow out and notched it and took aim at the vase.

“Aim small miss small, aim small miss small,” I repeated as I let go of the arrow. It flew across the room and hit the vase and shattering it. The bug turned around to where the vase was and charged at it and through the wall, and through some more walls.

“That’s worked,” Twilight commented. We both headed out of the ruins and got some distance from it, which was nice. “Well, we’re out of that place, what could go wrong now?”

I stopped and closed my eyes at what she just said and turned around. At first, nothing happened then the whole front side exploded and the bug came out and looked at us, then it screamed.

“Bhuel fuck dom (Well fuck me) RUN!”

Rainbow

I flew around town for about an hour after I left the library. I always love flying at night it so quiet and peaceful, it also allows me time to cool off and think. Twilight was kidnapped by the Diamond dogs and stayed like that for about a week while I was sitting here doing nothing. Most of the guards told me that they would handle it and they would find her, again it’s been a week and she’s not found.

I landed in one of Sweet Apple Acres apple fields and started to walk through it. I remember taking Twilight here for our first date, sure it wasn’t grand or epic but it was nice and she enjoyed it. I walked through the same path we took on that date, rounded one of the trees, don’t ask me which one because I don’t know, and stopped at another tree. It was the biggest in this field and we stopped there for a rest. I placed my hand on the tree and looked at it.

I turn away from the tree to look out to the Everfree, the last place that Twilight could be at. Oh how I wanted to go in there right now and look for her but I knew that if I did it would be a suicide mission. I sighed and pulled out my necklace and looked at it. There was a ring on it one of them was from Twilight. It was her college ring when she graduated and she gave it to me as a way that she loves me. I gripped the ring for a moment as I look out to the Everfree, I’m going to find her and bring her home, you can bet your bits on it.

I turned to head back to the library but stopped as I heard a noise. I looked over at the Everfree and frowned. I saw something coming out of the forest, I crouch down and prepared to take off out of here when I saw who came out of the forest. It was Twilight.

I felt my heart fill with joy that she’s alright and safe. I started to run towards her but stopped as someone else came crashing out of the forest. This one I didn’t know, she had white hair, camo clothing and a quiver on her back. They both was hailing tail away from the forest straight for me.

“Twilight! By Celestia you’re okay, who this per..”

“TALKLATERRUNNOW!” Twilight screamed as she ran past me. I blinked a few times and looked back at her as she was running as fast as she could.

“Uhh...what?” I said as the other person ran past me.

“DON’T STAND THERE, RUN!” she yelled as she too ran past me. I turned around and saw something come crashing through the trees. My iris went small as my wings appeared on my back as I bolted out of there.

I caught up to the other two as all three of us ran like Tartarus from the big bug.

“Wait!” Twilight yelled. I stop in the air and looked at her.

“Why are we stopping we should be running!” the other girl yelled at her.

“We can't we'll taking it into Evos, we have to stop it here,” Twilight explained.

“Why can't we just run the other way, I like running that sounds like a better plan.” the girl said.

“If we did that then it will turn around and start attacking Evos and I'm not going to let that happen.” both Twilight and the girl stared at each other for a moment until the bug screeched again. I heard the girl muttered something under her breath.

“Ugh fine but I don't agree to this,” She said as she pulled a sling looking thing out of one of the bags and walked passed us. I looked over at Twilight and she smiled at me, I went over to give her a hug.

“I thought I lost you, I wanted to look for you but they wouldn't let me but I… but-” I was caught off with Twilight kissing me. I felt butterflies in my stomach and a little light headed. She pulled away and smiled at me.

“Sorry that I worried you and everyone and I want to tell everyone that I'm ok but right now I want you to get all the guards and bring them her as fast as you can.” she told me.

Yeah… wait what are you going to do?” I asked her.

“Well someone has to help keep it busy…” she said while looking away.

“You're going to stay here! Are you out of your mind, you just came back from being kidnapped and you want to fight a giant bug!" I yelled at her. She blinked a few times before speaking.

“Oh don't get me wrong I don't want to be here I really don't, but the girl that went after it saved my life and I own her for it. That's why you're going, you're faster,” she explained.

“Oh…” I looked around and tried to come up with something to change her mind but I saw a look in her eyes that said that she's not going to leave this. I pulled her into another kiss which lasted a minute until I pulled away. “Don't do something stupid egghead.”

"I know that's your job.” She said with a smile. I smiled back and let go of her and took to the skies as fast as I could and then some.

Blake

I really hate this plan. I don’t know why I’m doing this I should be running for dear life away from the big bug, but here I was standing behind a tree with the bug looking for me and Twilight. I don't know where Twilight was but at the moment I had other things to worry about, the bug was tearing down the trees in it search. I looked down and saw a rock, I bent down to pick it up and place it in the sling.

I stepped out behind the trees with the sling spinning, aiming for the head I loose the rock as it flew towards the bug. It harmlessly bounced off its head and it turned towards me and growled.

“Shit,” I said as I ran to the right as it took a swing at me. I looked up to see the bug coming at me, as it got close a purple blast came out of nowhere. I looked and saw that Twilight was standing a few feet away with her hand up as purple smoke was coming off it.

I took this chance to pull out my knife and stab at one of the joints of its legs. It screamed and started to thrash around, I rolled out of the way to get out of it's thrashing. I looked up to see that I was about a few feet away from her. The bug looked at us and opened its wings and started to beat them. At first I thought it was going to start flying but it didn't move or lift, instead it was kicking the ground up. I had to cover my eyes and narrow my eyes to see the best I could, I saw Twilight doing not as good. I heard the beating stop and as I moved my head the bug struck me, sending me into a big tree.

I groaned as my vision blurred, I looked up to see the bug standing over me a drove it's claw at me. I tried to move out of the way but it stabbed me in the stomach. I looked down at it and blinked before the pain sets in.

“AHHHHHHHHGGHGGGH!!” I screamed in pain. The bug lifted me up and threw me away. I rolled on the ground until I hit another tree. The pain wasn't as bad as getting impaled through the stomach. I felt hands pushing me up to a sitting position, I looked over to see Twilight looking at me with worry.

“Blake! Oh Celestia the blood, don't worry you're going to be alright, just stay calm and stay awake…” I stopped listening as I looked down. My hands were at where my stomach was and saw that they were covered in blood. The pain, while still there and so much that I wanted to scream, started to dim. I'm… dying… the pain, oh the pain it's too much. I felt tears run down my face. I...I… I don't want to die, I just got here and I'm not going to die.

I hear the sounds of explosions coming from in front of me. I looked up to see others in armor fighting the bug. The bug, I started to feel angry, it was the one that did this, it's the one that impaled me and leaving me to die.

I saw the world turn red as I looked at the giant bug as my anger started to rise, it should burn. The bug should burn to a crisp. The place started to become brighter as I felt a burning sensation from my head as I stared at the bug.

burn…

Burn…….

BURN!!! Just as I thought that the bug burst into red and silver flames. I heard it scream as the flames tear into it. Everyone jumped back to avoided the bug’s flailing, it kept going until there wasn’t anything left than ashes. The sensation slowly died away as I felt my eyelids grow heavy, sleep… yeah, sleep sounds good right now.

“Blake? Blake stay awake!” I head Twilight told me. I looked over to her as my vision blurs, just… just rest my eyes for a few minutes and I’ll be fine. I closed my eyes and the sounds melted away.

Celestia,

Two hours later

Have you heard the phrase ‘Never mess with a mama bears cups’? The idea behind it is you never mess with a mother's kids. Why am I bringing it up right now, well I lived for a long time and over the years I never met someone that I felt to be the one? I have seen many suitors but none of them had that spark that I was looking for, there was Sombra but… things didn’t work out since he went to study black magic.

I’m getting off track here, for the longest time I always wanted a child someone the looked up to me as a mother and love me as one. I thought I would never get to have that until two girls caught my attention. The first I thought would be perfect the poor thing was living out in the streets when I found her and I had everything ready to call her my daughter but… things didn’t turn out how I wanted. I thought fate was being cruel to me by showing me something that I wanted so much just for it to be yanked away, then Twilight came into the picture. She was the same as the first but had a loving family and, now, good friends that love and cared for her. But still she’s like a daughter to me, even I treat her as a student as any teacher would deep down I love her as any mother would.

When I heard the news that she has been kidnapped I thought fate was being cruel to me for the second time. That I would lose another daughter, I planned on flipping the whole land upside down to look for her but I was talked out of it by my sister.

Now imagine me when I got a letter from Spike, Twilight’s little brother, saying that Twilight is back and she needs help. Mind my language but what the living fuck do you think I did, bolted out of the castle and headed towards Evos at top speed. I might have broken the sound barrier but I didn’t care at the moment, I wanted… no needed to know that Twilight was alright.

Evos came into view as I flew over the Everfree. I headed toward the library and saw two guards standing out front. I landed a couple feet away from them and headed into the tree. When I went in I saw everyone here except Twilight and Fluttershy. They all looked at me and Shining was going to say something until I cut him off with a look.

“Where is Twilight,” I asked him firmly. He blinked at me and slowly pointed to the stairs. I nodded my thanks and headed upstairs. As I headed towards Twilight’s room I saw the door open and Fluttershy walked out taking bloodied gloves off and sighed. She turned and went wide eyed as she saw me. “Thank you Fluttershy, I’ll take it from here.”

She nodded quickly and briskly walked passed me, I chuckled a bit she has known me for some time now yet she still is nervous around me. I walked into the room and looked around, I sighed happily at the sight of Twilight well and unharmed other than some cuts and bruises. What confused me was the other girl laying on her bed with bloody bandages and rags all over.

“By the gods, you're here, I need your help,” Twilight said to me. I blinked at her and went to her side to look at the other girl.

“Twilight what happened?” I asked. She looked at me then over at the other girl who was breathing rapidly.

“I… she rescued me from the Diamond dogs that kidnapped me and was taking me back here, we stopped at the Castle of the Two Sisters for the night to sleep until I was woken up by her due to the fact that an Obsidios was there, we tried to sneak out but it found out and chased us to Sweet Apple Acres and we held it there until the guards would come but it hit her into the tree and it… and it…” I saw her started to panick and also started to hyperventilate. I pulled her into a hug to calm her down.

“Shhh… it’s alright Twilight everything is going to be fine,” I told her. Slowly she calmed down and started to breathe normally. “Now let's see if we can save her life.”

I let her go and headed to the bedside to get a better look at the wound. It was bandaged up tightly but I saw the blood pouring out and by the size of it, it looked like she was impaled. I moved my hands over her stomach and started to pour my magic into her. At first it didn’t do anything but then I felt something that I didn’t expect, my magic was being forced out of her. I looked at her with a puzzled look as I tried again, then again, then again.

‘What’s going on? Why isn’t she healing?” I thought as I stopped my magic. I looked at her for a moment as something caught my eye, the colour red. I looked around the room and saw that the whole room was red, wondering why I looked up out of the sunroof that Twilight had and saw something this I would never have seen.

A red moon, Luna’s moon was red. I stared at it for some time until another light shined. I looked down to see the girls arms glowing with silver and red runes. I saw the light move over to her stomach and heard her wince a bit. After a moment the glow dimmed and the colour of the moon returned to normal, the girl’s face and breath relaxed as this happened. I looked at her stomach and began to remove the bandages. It took a bit but I took them off and saw something that I didn’t understand, the wound was healed without a scar.

“Princess Celestia you did it! The wound is gone!” Twilight said happily. I stared at the girl's stomach with more questions than answers.

“Yes well… let’s check to see if it’s fully healed, help me set her up.” I asked her. I went and lifted her up to a sitting position as Twilight hold her there as I lift up the back of her shirt and removed the bandages. I inhaled sharply at what I saw, yes the wound is gone but that wasn’t it. I saw not only runes on her arms but the marks of Caelum and Magi. What also is interesting is that the mark of Caelum looked much different than the normal one. I frowned at this.

“Princess, is everything alright?” I heard Twilight asked me bringing me out of my thoughts. I looked at her and at the marks as I pulled the shirt back down.

“Yes Twilight everything is fine she just needs some rest, also what did I say about calling me, Princess. You don't need to do that anymore.” I told her with a smile.

“Sorry, old habits die hard,” Twilight said. I slowly set the girl back down and I checked if there any other wounds, but I found none and what also intrigued me more was her eye were crimson coloured. After that, Twilight and I both headed downstairs to explain what was going on.

It took a bit but everyone started to head back home to sleep. Rainbow said that she was staying at the library for the night and I smiled at her. Shining and the rest of the guards started to make night patrols around town. After seeing that I went into the sky and headed home, it been one hell of a night.

I landed on the balcony to my room and sighed after the fact that I flew all the way to Evos and back, I could have teleported there and back with ease. I guess it was an ‘in the moment’ thing.

I turned to looked at the moon, remembering that it was the colour some time ago. I frowned at it.

“I should check on her, see if she's alright,” I said to myself. I headed to the castle to head towards my sister's room. When I got there I saw that it was open slightly. I opened the door and went into the room.

“Luna? Are you here?” I called out. I looked around and saw her standing out on her balcony looking up at her moon. “Luna?”

“Hmm?” She turned and looked at me, “Sorry I didn't hear you come in.”

“Just wanting to see if you’re alright,” I said to her. She snorted.

“Tia I'm fine, you need to stop worrying about me.”

“I know Lu, it's just that when I was in Evos the moon changed colour and I was worried if something has happened,” I told her. She stared at me for a moment then to the moon with a frown.

"I was wondering about that as well, I didn't turn the moon into a Hunter’s moon.” she told me.

“A… Hunter’s moon?" I asked her. She rolled her eyes at me.

“Yes, it's also called known as a Blood moon but I like the other name better, also why were you in Evos Tia?” Luna asked me.

“I got a letter that said Twilight returned and needed help,” I told her.

“Well that would be a good reason for you bolting out of the castle, I got reports that a lot of windows and power lines were destroyed by some sort of shockwave, know anything about it?” Luna teased. I rolled my eyes at her as I explained what has happened, Luna frowned when I said that there was an Obsidios.

“I thought they were all sent to the Badlands, how did one of them get out?” Luna wondered.

“I don’t know sister but that’s not what I wanted to talk about.”

“Oh, and what would that be?” She asked. I looked up at the moon and sighed.

“It’s the girl that saved Twilight,” I said to her.

“The girl that saved her? Why would she be any interest?” Luna asked.

“When I got to the library and saw her she was at death's door since she got impaled by the Obsidios and when I tried to heal her my magic was… I don’t know how or why but my magic was being forced out. Just when I thought about it the runes on her arms begin to glow and she healed herself.” I explained.

“I see, well some Erde are known for healing from any injury even life-endangering one's, maybe she was one of them,” Luna said.

“That what I thought at first but when I checked if she had any other injuries I found that she has the marks of a Magi and a Caelum.” I continued. Luna looked at me for a moment in surprise.

“So… she’s a Celestial then?” She asked me. I eyed her for a moment.

“I believe that she’s a Dark Celestial due to the markings, but what I don’t understand why she helped Twilight in the Everfree.” I wondered.

“Well not all Dark Celestials are evil dear sister,” Luna said with a huff. I chuckled at her, it’s known that Celestials and Dark Celestials fight all the time but that was a long time ago and things have changed, look at me and Luna I’m a Celestial and she a Dark Celestial and we don’t fight… well, not all the time.

“I know that sister, I was just curious that’s all. I said with a smiled. We didn’t talk for a bit after that until Luna spoke.

“So this girl, what does she look like?” She asked me. I thought about it and closed my eyes and made a picture appear with the image of her. When I looked at it I saw that it was the image of her sleeping and I handed it to her,

“This is what she looked like, she was also has very pale skin and has crimson eyes.” I told her. I looked at her as she hold the picture with both hands. I couldn’t read her face but I saw her hands trembling. “Lu? Are you alright?”

“Celestia can you please leave me, I want to be alone right now.” She asked in a low tone. I stared at her for a moment. The only time that she calls me by my full name in when we are in front of others or something serious is going on.

“Lu, is something wrong?” I asked her.

“Just… leave me.” Luna said without looking at me. I was going to say something but I felt something pushing me out of the room.

“Alright I'll leave, but if you need anything just ask,” I said to her. She didn't say anything as I left her room. As I closed the room I began to head to my room.

As I left her door I thought I heard the sound of Luna crying.
