It's a nice morning out in Canterlot City, the birds are chirping, the sun is rising, everything's perfect.

Twilight Sparkle is still asleep, all cozy and warm in her bed. Then, a buzzing sound wakes her up. She sits up from her bed, rubs her eyes, and grabs her phone to check the text that she got. It's a text message from Sunset Shimmer telling her that she's going to be late for school. Twilight then checks the alarm clock and it's 7:25am.

"Really!" she shouted.

Twilight gets up from her bed, and gets herself ready for school. She puts on her Crystal Prep uniform, straightens her tie, puts on her glasses, and brushes her teeth. Twilight rushes out the door of her house and heads to Canterlot High.

The city is now full of oncoming cars and passing civilians. Twilight passes through the oncoming civilians and reaches Sugarcube Corner. There, she approaches a crowd of people, and tries to dodge all of the civilians standing in her way, but accidentally bumps into someone in the process.

"Sorry!" She shouted.

As she approaches the crosswalk, an officer on duty spots Twilight while trafficking the cars. He immediately holds out his hand and grinds the cars to a screeching halt.

"All clear!" said the officer.

"Thank you!" shouted Twilight.

She crosses the road and the officer lets the cars pass by. Twilight manages to reach CHS, and checks the clock above the school. The time right now is 7:29am. Twilight takes a deep breath.

"Come on Twilight, you can do this." She rushes inside the school.

As she bursts inside the school, she runs past Principal Celestia's Office and the entrances to the cafeteria. Twilight finds her classroom and rushes inside. Twilight then finds her seat and quickly sat down. Sunset Shimmer sits right next to Twilight.

"Wow, you made it just in time." said Sunset.

"Well, it all thanks to Rainbow Dash and her athletic advice." Twilight replied.

The bell rings, but Rainbow Dash is heard outside the classroom.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" she shouted, and slides inside the classroom. "Don't worry, I'm right on schedule. Right, Ms. Harshwhinny?" Rainbow Dash asks.

Ms. Harshwhinny enters the classroom and replies, "Barely." She takes her seat. "Alright class, take out your textbooks and finish up your trig assignment."

The students inside the room took out their textbooks and begin to write. Twilight is working on her assignment when a paper airplane hits her at the back of the head. Twilight turns behind her and sees the paper airplane on the ground. She grabs the paper, unravels it, and reads it.

"Do you have plans on coming to the Fall Formal with me?" said Twilight.

She looks back and forth, then when she looks at Sunset, she points towards Flash Sentry, who is two seats behind Twilight. Flash waves when Twilight looked at him and she waves back.

Ms. Harshwhinny approaches Twilight and says, "Twilight, you do realize that this assignment is due by the end of class. I don't want you getting distracted."

"Sorry Ms. Harshwhinny, I'll get right on it." Twilight replies.

"Ok then." Ms. Harshwhinny returns to her desk.

Sunset leans towards Twilight and asks, "So, what does it say?"

"It's a note from Flash saying if I have plans on going to the Fall Formal." Twilight replies.

Then Sunset asks, "Well, are you going?"

Twilight replies, "You know what, I literally do not know."

It's now lunch time in CHS. Everyone is sitting at their table, talking and eating. The girls, who sit at a table together, are eating their lunches.

"So, Twilight, is been a year since you've transferred to CHS, how's it feel to be with people you can trust?" asked Applejack.

Twilight replies, "It's ok, I guess, still, I am going to miss my old school, even though I didn't make much friends there than here."

Sunset scooches over next to Twilight, "I'll be alright Twilight."

Then Twilight says, "No, it won't be alright. I mean, did you see what I did back at the Friendship Games, I almost destroyed the world because of my inhibitions with the magic you possess."

Sunset then says, "Twilight, it was just a mistake. Look, I've made a mistake as well by stealing an Element of Harmony and used it to try and take over Equestria, but remember what I said, after going though with my own experiences, they'll forgive you."

Twilight grins, "I guess you're right. I mean, it has been a year."

Then Pinkie Pie says, "Speaking of a year, I'm thinking about throwing Twilight here a one-year anniversary party at my house."

"That does sound like a joyful thing to do, and maybe Twilight can be the guest of honor." said Rarity.

"That's great and all, but I have to focus on studying. I have a test coming tomorrow and I don't want to fail it." said Twilight.

"Oh, come on Twilight, you practically finish up a test or quiz way before we do." said Rainbow Dash.

Twilight replies, "I know, but this test is a big one, I have to try and remember everything from the Revolutionary War all the way to the signing of the Declaration of Independence."

"I think you're overworking yourself." said Fluttershy.

"It's not that, I complete my work before I even leave the school." said Twilight.

Then Rainbow Dash says, "That's overworking, but we can fix that."

"What do you mean?" asked Twilight.

Rainbow Dash replies, "You see, we all got some free time after science class to go out and get some fresh air, I think we should use this time to play some soccer."

"I don't know about that." said Twilight.

"Are you sure, or are you too chicken to compete against me?" asked Rainbow Dash, and begins to make clucking noises.

Then Sunset asks, "Are you going to take that from her?"

Twilight thinks, then says, "No. No I won't. Alright Rainbow Dash, you're on."

Rainbow Dash gets up from the table and races to the field, "Last one to the field has a rotten brain!"

"Not if I get there first!" said Twilight as she gets up and races to the field.
