Long ago, when the portal to the other dimension was first created, there were six wearers of power. The wearers of power each held one of the six Skystars. Skystars were powerful gems embedded into different articles of fashion. These six holders were Starswirl the Bearded, Luna, Celestia, Waterwirl, Broken Knight and Discord. All of the six holders created Team Scrouge. Waterwirl being Starswirl's brother and Broken Sword being one of Celestia and Luna's most loyal guards, but after Discord decided to be more chaotic than a bearer the spectrum was unbalanced. The only choice was to send the gems away from Equestria through the portal where Discord would never find them. After being told all this, Sunset Shimmer is asked by Twilight to attempt to find these missing gems and keep them in her own world or bring them back to Equestria depending on if it is powerful or useless.
